Human Rights And Public Policy Implementation : Narcotics

Riza Amalia
Abstract: This research discusses the relationship between Human Rights (HAM) and the implementation of public policies related to narcotics. In a global context, narcotics policies are often a source of controversy due to their impact… mpact on individual rights. This research evaluates how narcotics policies can affect basic rights such as the rights to life, liberty, health and justice. In some cases, harsh legal crackdowns on narcotics have led to human rights violations, such as arbitrary arrest and detention, as well as the use of force by security forces. On the other hand, some countries have tried alternative approaches, including decriminalization or legalization of narcotics, with the aim of reducing the negative impact on individuals. This research uses a normative approach. The conclusion from this research is that it is important to maintain a balance between efforts to prevent and handle narcotics with protecting individual human rights. Effective implementation of narcotics policies must take into account the basic rights of individuals and seek to reduce negative social impacts. This research underlines the need for a holistic and sustainable approach in dealing with narcotics issues without compromising human rights

Abstract: Febrile seizures are a common emergency in children aged 6 months to 5 years and can cause significant anxiety in parents. Proper early management of febrile seizures largely depends on parent's knowledge as the primary… caregivers. Inadequate knowledge may lead to inappropriate first aid measures that can worsen the child's condition. This research aims to identify the level of parent's knowledge regarding first aid management for children experiencing febrile seizures in Sei Mencirim. This study uses a descriptive design method with a cross-sectional approach. The population in this study are all parents who brought their children for treatment to the Sei Mencirim Community Health Center in the last three months, wiht a sample of 36 respondents taken using an accidental sampling technique. The research instrument is a questionnaire consisting of 25 questions. Data analysis was carried out univariately to describe the level of respondents' knowledge. The results of the study show that parental knowledge based on the management of febrile seizures, parents have a good level of knowledge of 55.6%. Based on the administration during seizures, parental knowledge is in the sufficient category of 38.9%. Based on the administration of medication from the hospital after the child is treated, parental knowledge is in the good category off 66.7%. Based on information about seizures, parental knowledge is in the good category of 75.0%. concluded that the level of parental knowledge about first aid for children experiencing febrile is in the good category of 80.5%.

Abstract: This study aims to assess the performance of lecturers in the Computer Science Study Program at HKBP Nommensen University Pematangsiantar from the perspective of students and identify areas that need improvement to enhance… ce the academic quality of the study program. The study uses a quantitative approach through a survey. The researchers collected data using a five-point Likert scale questionnaire distributed to 103 students of the Computer Science Study Program who had attended lectures. The researchers analyzed five aspects: teaching readiness, teaching materials, teaching discipline, teaching evaluation, and lecturer personality. We analyzed the data using descriptive statistics, calculating the percentage of student responses for each aspect of the assessment. The results of the study show that the performance of lecturers in the Computer Science Study Program at HKBP Nommensen University Pematangsiantar is generally in the good to very good category. The aspects of teaching readiness, teaching materials, teaching discipline, and teaching evaluation received very good ratings. The aspect of lecturer personality was in the good category. However, we must improve lecturer performance in the aspect of research. We must improve productivity, continuity of research activities, and scientific publications. The results of this study are expected to be used as evaluation material and a basis for policy-making for institutions in their efforts to improve the quality of lecturers and higher education in a sustainable manner.

Design And Implementation Of Music Information System Web Based

Silvia Ningsih
Abstract: Information is the result of data processing in a form that is more useful and more meaningful for the recipient that describes real events (facts) that are used for decision making. The music information system website… aims to provide various communication and information services about music. The information system used by the music community so far is considered slow and complicated. Both musicians and producers have difficulty communicating directly and the number of individuals who can communicate directly is relatively small. Therefore, the current system cannot meet the demands of the information needs, it needs to be developed so that it can display information and communication facilities about music directly and quickly. In designing the music information system website using Php & MySql Script. Where in the design of this information system itself uses a Database where the use of the Database itself is as a media that manages all data and a place to store the data itself later. The information system itself is designed so that musicians and producers can create their own profiles. This information system also provides communication services about music. The final result achieved from this music information system is as a communication service for the music community, Sharing Content, publication, and promotion from musicians to the public and producers.

Abstract: The problem in this study is that Accounting Learning Outcomes have not met expectations in the 11th grade Accounting students of SMK Negeri 1 Patumbak. This study aims to determine the effect of Self-Efficacy and Learning… ng Motivation on Learning Outcomes, with Learning Independence as a moderating variable, in 11th grade students at SMK Negeri 1 Patumbak. This research was conducted at SMK Negeri 1 Patumbak, located at Jl. Ujung Defense, Lantasan Baru, Patumbak District, Deli Serdang Regency, North Sumatra. This study used an ex post facto approach. The population was 35 11th grade Accounting students. The sample size was 35 students, using total sampling. Data collection was conducted through documentation and questionnaire distribution. The questionnaire was first tested for validity and reliability. The collected data was then processed using multiple linear regression with SPSS version 30 software. The results of this study indicate that: (1) Self-efficacy has a positive and significant effect on students' accounting learning outcomes. This is indicated by a regression coefficient of 0.321 with a significance level of 0.021, which is less than 0.05. (2) Learning motivation has a positive and significant effect on students' accounting learning outcomes. The analysis results show a regression coefficient of 0.428 with a significance level of 0.004, which is less than 0.05. (3) Self-efficacy and learning motivation simultaneously have a significant effect on students' accounting learning outcomes. This is proven by a calculated F-value of 18.672 with a significance level of 0.000, which is less than 0.05. (4) Learning independence moderates the effect of self-efficacy on accounting learning outcomes. This is indicated by the significance value of the interaction variable between self-efficacy and learning independence of 0.043, which is less than 0.05. (5) Learning independence moderates the influence of learning motivation on accounting learning outcomes. The analysis results show a significance value of the interaction variable between learning motivation and learning independence of 0.029, which is less than 0.05. This means that learning independence strengthens the influence of learning motivation on students' accounting learning outcomes

Abstract: This study aims to examine the application of the High-Low method, Scatterplot, and Least Squares in cost analysis, particularly in separating fixed and variable cost behavior. The research uses a library research approach… ch by collecting and reviewing literature from textbooks, journals, and official publications related to cost estimation and cost behavior modeling. The findings indicate that the High-Low method is simple because it uses only the highest and lowest activity levels, but its accuracy is limited due to reliance on extreme data points. The Scatterplot method provides a visual representation of the relationship between cost and activity, helping identify patterns and potential outliers; however, its results may vary due to subjective judgment in determining the cost line. Meanwhile, the Least Squares method is considered the most accurate because it utilizes all available data to produce the best-fit regression line, although it requires more complex calculations and statistical understanding. Overall, the selection of the most suitable method depends on the objective of the analysis, data availability, and the level of accuracy required
