Sujanah, Nanah, Maisaroh, Ima, Ngulwiyah, Istinganatul
Abstract: This study aims to develop an instrument to assess the effectiveness of a religious character education program in addressing the moral degradation of students. The research employs a development model (research and design)… gn) based on primary data collected through a questionnaire consisting of 20 statements aligned with 10 indicators of character education. These indicators include understanding religious values, internalization of values, honesty, responsibility, tolerance, consistency in religious attitudes, social care, discipline in spiritual relationships, and satisfaction with the program. The research instrument uses a rating scale ranging from 1 to 5 and is validated by three education experts from the Faculty of Teacher Training and Education (FKIP). The sample consists of 25 first-semester students from the 2024-2025 academic year, class 1A of the Agribusiness Department, Faculty of Agriculture, Untirta. Data analysis includes content validity testing using Aiken’s V formula and intraclass correlation coefficients (ICC) for reliability testing. Empirical validity testing employs product moment analysis, and reliability testing uses Cronbach's alpha, analyzed using SPSS version 23. The findings reveal that: (1) Based on the content validity test, out of 20 statement items, 16 items demonstrate very high validity, and 4 items show 2 high validity, with an average content validity score of 1.000, interpreted as very high. The reliability test using intraclass correlation coefficients (ICC) yields an average measure of 0.971, indicating excellent instrument reliability. (2) From the empirical test results, out of 20 items, 19 items are valid, and 1 item is invalid, with a Cronbach's alpha value of 0.853 (>0.7), confirming the instrument's reliability. Therefore, the validated questionnaire consisting of 20 items is deemed suitable for measuring the effectiveness of the religious character education program

Sjamsir, Zulkifli, Besse Dahliana, Suhartina R
Abstract: This study examines food security, food self-sufficiency, and self-sufficiency in South Sulawesi in 2024, focusing on the province's main food commodities, distribution issues, and the impact of government policies. The… research analyzes the gap between food production and demand, identifying key commodities such as rice, corn, and soybeans. By evaluating the availability, accessibility, and affordability of these staple foods, the study investigates how local agricultural practices, infrastructure, and external factors like climate change and market volatility affect food security in the region. The findings reveal significant challenges in meeting the demand for rice and soybeans, despite the province's ability to achieve a surplus in corn production. The methodology employed in this study involves both qualitative and quantitative approaches. Primary data was gathered through field surveys, interviews with local farmers, agricultural experts, and policymakers, as well as secondary data from government reports, agricultural statistics, and market analyses. A comparative analysis was conducted to examine trends in food production, consumption patterns, and price fluctuations over the past five years. The study also incorporated geographic information system (GIS) mapping to assess the distribution of agricultural resources and the effectiveness of existing infrastructure in connecting farmers to markets. The findings suggest that despite the province's agricultural potential, South Sulawesi continues to face challenges in achieving full food self-sufficiency. The study recommends a multifaceted approach to addressing food insecurity and achieving food self-sufficiency, including improving rural infrastructure, adopting modern agricultural technologies, and diversifying food crops.

This study aims to assess the level of outpatient satisfaction with laboratory services at RSUD Klungkung. The research employs an observational method with a cross-sectional design. Data collection was conducted using questionnaires, with a sample of 97 respondents selected through purposive sampling. The data analysis in this study was performed using the Chi-Square test. Based on the five service quality dimensions—reliability, responsiveness, assurance, empathy, and tangibles—the results showed a p-value < 0.05. Among these dimensions, responsiveness had the lowest p-value (0.005 < 0.05), indicating its stronger influence. These findings conclude that there is a significant relationship between service quality dimensions and the level of outpatient satisfaction with laboratory services at RSUD Klungkung. Furthermore, the responsiveness dimension, which had the lowest p-value compared to the other four dimensions, indicates that it has the most significant impact on patient satisfaction with laboratory services provided by the staff at RSUD Klungkung.

RECONSTRUCTION OF MAWARIS LAW IN A MODERN CONTEXT: THE PERSPECTIVE OF GENDER EQUALITY IN ISLAMIC LAW

Hermawan, Nanang
Abstract: This research aims to explore the reconstruction of mawaris law in Islam in the modern context, especially by considering the principle of gender equality without abandoning sharia values. The research method used is qualitative,… litative, with textual analysis of mawaris verses in the Qur'an, Hadith, and the study of the theory of maqaṣid shari'ah. Case studies in several Muslim countries were also conducted to assess the implementation of modified mawaris laws within the national legal framework. The results of the study show that mawaris law, although textual in the Qur'an, provides space for reinterpretation through the maqaṣid shari'ah approach. This approach emphasizes aspects of justice, benefit, and equality that are in line with Islamic values. The study also found that the reconstruction of mawaris law can support the strengthening of women's position in the family and society without eliminating the principle of justice that is the core of sharia. This study concludes that mawaris law can be adapted to the modern context through reinterpretation based on maqaṣid shari'ah. Thus, this reconstruction not only answers the challenges of the modern era but also maintains the relevance of Islamic law as a universal guideline.
