aims to analyze the factors that cause flooding in both countries, compare the management policies implemented, and provide recommendations for improved mitigation. The method used is a literature review to collect and analyze various scientific sources. The results show that in Indonesia, factors causing flooding include land subsidence, land use change, and climate change, while in the Philippines, flooding is often triggered by tropical storms and extreme rainfall. Indonesia's response strategy focuses on river normalization and drainage infrastructure, while the Philippines implements a National Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Plan that covers prevention, preparedness, and rehabilitation. Despite these efforts, challenges such as urbanization and land acquisition still hamper the effectiveness of flood management. Recommendations include improving infrastructure, sustainable spatial planning, and community education.

This study aimed to ascertain whether the utilization of Music media may yield a noteworthy disparity in enhancing students' English vocabulary and to discover whether the efficacy of music media surpasses that of conventional media. The sample size for this study consisted of 60 students. The system has two classrooms, with each class including a total of 30 students. The pre-test results yielded a t-value of t0 = 1.517, indicating that both classes are worth studying as there is no significant difference in the increase of students' English vocabulary based on the t-test. However, after treatment and the post-test, the t-value obtained was t0 = 3.201, higher than the critical t-value (tt = 2.001) at a significance level of α = 0.05 and degrees of freedom (df) = 58. This indicates a significant difference in students' English vocabulary increase between the experimental class (taught using Music media) and the control class (introduced using conventional press) after the pre-test was administered.

GTC possess complex learning profiles, characterized by high intellectual capacity, rapid knowledge acquisition, and intense interests and creativity that exceed the average. The mismatch between conventional teaching approaches and the distinctive needs of GTC in inclusive environments creates serious pedagogical challenges, notably the hindered realization of their full potential. This article aims to critically examine the effectiveness of differentiated instruction as an adaptive curriculum strategy in addressing the diverse needs of GTC within inclusive classrooms. Through a systematic literature review, the differentiation approach is analyzed within the framework of modifying content, process, and product of learning based on students' readiness, interests, and cognitive profiles. The findings indicate that the implementation of differentiation significantly enhances intrinsic motivation, active engagement, and academic achievement of GTC, while maintaining social cohesion in the classroom. Differentiated instruction also contributes to the creation of an inclusive, dynamic, and pedagogically equitable learning environment. The novelty of this study lies in the conceptual integration of differentiation principles with inclusive practices as a foundation for curriculum design that emphasizes individual excellence and appreciation of diversity. These findings offer substantive contributions to the development of a more transformative and responsive pedagogical paradigm, while also providing both theoretical and practical foundations for educators in designing curriculum interventions that empower all learners, including those with exceptional capacities.

timal because the teachers lack a for-mal educational background in the field, causing students to have difficulty mastering basic vocabulary, pronunciation, and understanding instructions. This research aims to address this problem by implementing an Activity Based Learning (ABL) approach, which emphasizes active student involvement through direct activities such as games, songs, visual simulations, and pronunciation exercises. This activity was carried out in four sessions on July 22, July 25, July 29, and August 4, 2025. Evaluation results indi-cate notable improvement. Among the five participating students, four students (80%) showed an average 20% increase in basic vocabulary mastery compared to pre-activity levels. Ninety percent demonstrated clearer pronunciation, and all students (100%) re-ported feeling enthusiastic and more motivated to learn. These findings confirm that the Activity Based Learning (ABL) approach is effective in enhancing participation and learning motivation while creating an enjoyable and meaningful learning experience. All students expressed interest in joining similar activities in the future.

Abstrak: Penguasaan Bahasa Inggris sejak usia dini memiliki peran penting dalam membentuk kompetensi generasi muda untuk menghadapi tantangan global di masa depan. Di Sanggar Belajar Tembesi Sidomulyo, pengajaran Bahasa Inggris belum optimal karena pengajar tidak memiliki latar belakang pendidikan formal di bidang tersebut, sehingga siswa mengalami kesulitan dalam penguasaan kosakata dasar, pelafalan, serta pemahaman instruksi. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengatasi masalah tersebut dengan menerapkan pendekatan. Activity Based Learning (ABL), yang menekankan keterlibatan aktif siswa melalui aktivitas langsung seperti permainan, lagu, dan latihan pelafalan. Kegiatan ini dilaksanakan dalam empat sesi pada tanggal 22 Juli, 25 Juli, 29 Juli, dan 4 Agustus 2025. Hasil evaluasi menunjukkan peningkatan yang signifikan. Dari lima siswa peserta, empat siswa (80%) mengalami peningkatan penguasaan kosakata dasar rata-rata 20% dibandingkan sebelum kegiatan. Sebanyak 90% siswa menunjukkan per-baikan pelafalan, dan seluruh peserta (100%) menyatakan merasa senang serta lebih termotivasi mengikuti pembelajaran.Temuan ini membuktikan bahwa pendekatan Activity Based Learning (ABL) efektif dalam meningkatkan partisipasi dan motivasi belajar, sekaligus menciptakan pengalaman belajar yang menyenangkan dan bermakna. Seluruh siswa juga menyampaikan minat untuk mengikuti kegiatan serupa di masa mendatang.

, mostly females between the ages of thirteen and eighteen, was chosen for this current activity. This was carried out in one of orphanages in Palembang, South Sumatera. To monitor and evaluate the degree of vocabulary achievement of the EFL learners, a vocabulary test was administered both before and after the intervention. The results indicated that the t obtained was much higher than the set t table and p value earned was much lower than .05. Therefore, it could be concluded that using flashcards significantly accelerated the acquisition of English vocabulary by young learners. Lastly, some fruitful implication were directed to future facilitators, researchers, and young learners, as participants.

Abstrak: Penguasaan kosakata sangat penting bagi pelajar muda dalam mempelajari bahasa Inggris. Kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat ini ditujukan untuk memanfaatkan kartu flash dalam pengajaran kosakata bahasa Inggris. Sampel yang terdiri dari tiga belas peserta, sebagian besar perempuan berusia antara tiga belas dan delapan belas tahun, dipilih untuk kegiatan saat ini. Kegiatan ini dilaksanakan di salah satu panti asuhan di Palembang, Sumatera Selatan. Untuk memantau dan mengevaluasi tingkat pencapaian kosakata pelajar EFL, tes kosakata diberikan sebelum dan sesudah intervensi. Hasilnya menunjukkan bahwa nilai t yang diperoleh jauh lebih tinggi daripada t tabel yang ditetapkan dan nilai p yang diperoleh jauh lebih rendah dari .05. Oleh karena itu, dapat disimpulkan bahwa penggunaan kartu flash secara signifikan mempercepat perolehan kosakata bahasa Inggris oleh pelajar muda. Terakhir, beberapa implikasi yang bermanfaat ditujukan di masa mendatang kepada fasilitator, peneliti, dan pelajar muda, sebagai peserta.

the changes that occurred in the 2013 curriculum, which resulted in the loss of English as a subject at the elementary school level had an impact on students' knowledge of English, especially their knowledge of vocabulary. This assistance is provided to help students learn and memorize new English vocabulary in an effort to improve their memorization. The community service method used is Service Learning (SL). A total of 20 students participated as course participants who will be assisted in this service activity. Several stages of action were carried out: planning English vocabulary lessons, presenting English vocabulary materials, introducing and using English vocabulary, and encouraging children to interpret or define new English vocabulary that has been taught. The results of the assistance in this service show that the assistance activities in memorizing vocabulary for students of SDN Jabiren-2 help students increase their vocabulary acquisition.

Kosakata merupakan salah satu aspek penting yang harus dikuasai oleh siswa sebelum belajar suatu bahasa seperti halnya dalam belajar bahasa Inggris. Di Indonesia bahasa Inggris mulai dimuat dalam kurikulum pendidikan sejak tahun 1994, namun perubahan yang terjadi pada kurikulum 2013 yang membuat hilangnya bahasa Inggris sebagai mata pelajaran di tingkat sekolah dasar berdampak pada pengetahuan siswa terhadap bahasa Inggris khususnya pengetahuan mereka pada kosakata. Pendampingan ini diberikan untuk membantu siswa mempelajari dan menghafal kosakata bahasa Inggris yang baru dalam upaya untuk meningkatkan hafalan mereka. Metode pengabdian kepada masyarakat yang digunakan adalah Service Learning (SL). Sebanyak 20 siswa berpartisipasi sebagai peserta kursus yang akan didampingi dalam kegiatan pengabdian ini. Beberapa tahapan tindakan dilakukan: merencanakan pelajaran kosakata bahasa Inggris, menyajikan materi kosakata bahasa Inggris, memperkenalkan dan menggunakan kosakata bahasa Inggris, dan mendorong anak untuk menafsirkan atau mendefinisikan kosakata bahasa Inggris baru yang telah diajarkan. Hasil pendampingan dalam pengabdian ini menunjukkan bahwa kegiatan pendampingan dalam menghafal kosakata pada siswa-siswi SDN Jabiren-2 membantu siswa dalam meningkatkan perolehan kosakata mereka.

Asahan Store, it's critical to consistently create novel strategies to draw in new clients and keep existing ones. This research aims to design a web-based new customer acquisition and points program to increase buying interest and customer loyalty at IBIL Asahan stores. The research method used is a case study, which involves collecting data from primary and secondary sources. Primary data were obtained through direct observation at Toko IBIL Asahan and interviews with store management. The results of this study resulted in the design of a point program integrated with the web application to provide incentives to customers to shop regularly at Toko IBIL Asahan. This points program will give customers points every time they make a purchase, and these points can be redeemed for gifts or discounts in the future. In addition, new customer acquisition strategies are also proposed, including marketing through social media, promotional campaigns, and collaboration with local partners. This web application also provides information about point programs, special offers, and other features that can interest customers. In addition, the installation of point machines in stores will also be carried out to make it easier for customers to collect points and exchange them.

Abstrak: Toko IBIL Asahan adalah sebuah usaha retail yang bergerak di bidang penjualan pakaian anak-anak dan dewasa. Strategi pemasaran dan retensi pelanggan menjadi faktor penting bagi keberhasilan bisnis. Terutama bagi bisnis ritel seperti Toko Ibil Asahan, penting untuk terus mengembangkan cara-cara baru untuk menarik pelanggan baru dan mempertahankan pelanggan yang sudah ada. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk perancangan program poin dan akuisisi pelanggan baru berbasis web untuk meningkatkan minat beli dan loyalitas pelanggan pada toko IBIL Asahan. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah studi kasus, yang melibatkan pengumpulan data dari sumber primer dan sekunder. Data primer diperoleh melalui observasi langsung di toko IBIL Asahan dan wawancara dengan manajemen toko. Hasil penelitian ini menghasilkan perancangan program poin yang terintegrasi dengan aplikasi web untuk memberikan insentif kepada pelanggan untuk berbelanja secara teratur di Toko IBIL Asahan. Program poin ini akan memberikan poin kepada pelanggan setiap kali mereka melakukan pembelian, dan poin-poin ini dapat ditukarkan dengan hadiah atau diskon di masa mendatang. The research sample is tutug oncom rice. The results show that nasi tutug oncom is more than just food; it symbolizes the hospitality, local wisdom and food security of the Sundanese people. The process of making it, serving it, and eating it, is full of meanings that reflect the values of mutual cooperation, simplicity, and respect for nature. In this era of globalization, nasi tutug oncom faces both challenges and opportunities. On the one hand, this dish can become an Indonesian culinary icon that can be recognized worldwide. However, on the other hand, nasi tutug oncom is vulnerable to changes that can eliminate its uniqueness and original characteristics. Utilizing a qualitative approach, semi-structured interviews were conducted with students from grade XII public senior high schools in Solo, Central Java. The findings reveal that the internet plays a significant role in facilitating language learning by providing access to diverse resources and interactive platforms. It is reported that internet tools help them create more engaging and culturally relevant lessons, which cater to the multilingual backgrounds of the students. Students highlighted that online resources offer immediate feedback, diverse learning materials, and opportunities for practicing English in real-world contexts, which are crucial for mastering a foreign language. Moreover, the study shows that the internet supports students in developing digital literacy skills, which are essential for effective language learning in the 21st century. The use of internet-based learning tools helps students seamlessly transition between languages, enhancing their overall language proficiency and confidence in using English. This research underscores the importance of integrating internet resources in EFL education to address the unique linguistic needs of students in multilingual settings.
