The results of the study indicate that the main factors influencing students' limited speaking and listening skills include lack of practice, minimal use of interesting learning media, and internal factors such as lack of self-confidence and less than optimal pronunciation. These findings provide an important overview of the need to develop more effective and innovative learning strategies to improve students' communication skills in English at the elementary level. It is hoped that the results of this study can be a reference for educators and educational institutions in improving the quality of English teaching in elementary schools.

s, and documentation, this study identified three main problems that hinder the success of group learning: gender differences affecting group formation, difficulty ensuring the active participation of each member, and relatively long time for group management. The results of the study indicate that these problems cause group learning to be less effective and have an impact on the decline in students' English skills. Therefore, strategies such as forming inclusive groups, clear division of tasks, the use of participatory observation instruments, the utilization of technology, and the implementation of the Problem-Based Learning approach are recommended to improve the effectiveness of group learning and students' English skills. This study provides an important contribution to developing English teaching methods at the elementary school level by considering social aspects and more effective classroom management.

Instruments used were interview sheets, printed documents, and questionnaires. This study involved six key stages of Borg and Gall method, which included: gathering data and information, analyzing the data, designing the product, expert validation, revising and finalizing the product. The result of gathering and analyzing data showed that students had low interest in descriptive reading text due to monotonous and unvaried worksheets. This data identified students’ necessity (85%), lacks (55%) and wants (65%) for an interactive worksheet, engaging worksheet to develop reading understanding. The material designing and revising stage resulted in the Topworksheet Web, which consists of interactive descriptive reading practices, utilizing Canva-based visualization and educational games, including a glossary and word search. The expert validation involved a lecturer and a teacher, was 87.2%, and 98.4%, achieving an "Excellent" category. Based on the high validation scores from the experts, it can be concluded that the final product, the Topworksheet Web, is a highly appropriate and effective students' descriptive reading worksheet tailored to the specific needs of students at SMP Negeri 21 Medan.

ach with research subjects being PAI teachers, madrasah principals, and sixth-grade students. Data collection techniques were carried out through observation, interviews, and documentation. Data analysis used the Miles and Huberman model which includes data collection, data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. The results showed that PAI teachers' strategies in increasing student learning interest were carried out through the use of varied learning methods such as discussions, questions and answers, demonstrations, direct practice, educational games, and storytelling methods. Teachers also used learning media such as videos, images, posters, and presentation slides to attract students' attention. These strategies were proven to be able to increase student interest, activeness, and motivation in learning. In addition, PAI learning strategies also improved student learning achievement in the cognitive, affective, and psychomotor aspects. Students became more understanding of the material, demonstrated better behavior, and were able to practice worship correctly. Supporting factors for the research include a religious school environment, support for learning facilities, and parental cooperation, while the obstacles faced include differences in student abilities, lack of learning motivation, and limited learning media.

The population of this study consisted of 248 tenth-grade students at SMA Negeri 5 Padangsidimpuan. Using systematic sampling, a total of 35 students were selected as the sample. This research employed an experimental method. Data were collected through observation and speaking tests, and the results were analyzed using a paired-sample t-test. The findings revealed that the application of the CLL model on students’ speaking ability scored 3.6, categorized as “Very Good”. The students’ mean speaking score before the implementation of CLL was 78.51 (“Good”), which increased to 83.42 (“Very Good”) after the treatment. The t-test calculation yielded a t-value of 7.15, which exceeds the critical t-value of 2.03 at a 5% significance level (df = 35). Therefore, it is concluded that there is a statistically significant effect of the Community Language Learning model on students’ speaking competence among tenth-grade students at SMA Negeri 5 Padangsidimpuan.
