PREMARITAL HEALTH EDUCATION THROUGH EDUCATIONAL MEDIA ON IMPROVONGING THE HEALTH KNOWLEDGE OF PROSPECTIVE BRIDES AND GROOMS

Abstract: The objective of this research was to prove whether using Choral Reading strategy can improve reading comprehension of the eight grade students of SMP Negeri 13 Palu. This research limited the use of Choral Reading strategy… egy in improving students' reading comprehension, which focuses on literal meaning and descriptive text. This research used quasi-experimental research design involving an experimental class and a control class. The sample of this research were students of VII B as the experimental class, which consisted of 31 students, and the students of VIII A as the control class, which consisted of 31 students. The data was collected through pre-test and post-test. The results confirmed that the mean score of the experimental class had increased from 44.87 to 73.83. On the other hand, in the control class, it has increased from 48.29 to 62.64. The results of the test were analyzed statistically by applying 0.05 level of significance. The researcher found that the value of the t-count was higher than the t-table (4.59 > 1.67). In other words, the implementation of choral reading strategy can develop students' reading comprehension of the eighth-grade students of SMP Negeri 13 Palu. This strategy has a significant impact on the English learning process, especially helping students in reading comprehension to find information about the text and understand the entire meaning of the text, so that students can practice choral reading as their independent reading comprehension strategy in the future  

THE EFFECT OF RELIGIOSITY AND ACADEMIC RESILIENCE ON DECREASE IN THE LEVEL OF ACADEMIC ANXIETY OF MASTER STUDENTS OF ISLAMIC EDUCATION, STATE ISLAMIC UNIVERSITY OF SULTAN SYARIF KASIM RIAU

Abstract: This study aims to analyze the influence of religiosity and academic resilience on decreasing the level of academic anxiety of students of the Master of Islamic Education Program at the Sultan Syarif Kasim State Islamic… University, Riau. Academic anxiety is a common psychological challenge experienced by postgraduate students. Religiosity and academic resilience are seen as protective factors that can help students manage academic stress in a healthier way. This study uses a quantitative method with data collection techniques in the form of questionnaires and documentation. The research sample consisted of 41 students from three semesters selected through purposive sampling. Data analysis was carried out using the independent sample t-test using SPSS version 25. The results showed that religiosity had a significant effect on academic anxiety with a significance value of 0.029, while academic resilience showed a stronger effect with a significance value of 0.000. Because the significance results of both variables are less than 0.05, the higher the religiosity and academic resilience of students, the lower their level of academic anxiety. This finding confirms that the integration of the values ​​of religiosity and resilience is very important in supporting students' mental resilience. Strengthening religiosity and fostering academic resilience can be effective strategies to reduce academic anxiety in postgraduate higher education.    

EXPLOITATION OF NATURE AND SPIRITUAL DECADENCE: ETHICAL RESPONSIBILITY IN ISLAM THROUGH RITUAL AND RELIGIOSITY AS THE FOUNDATION OF HUMANITY

Abstract: The large-scale exploitation of nature currently occurring in Indonesia reflects a crisis of spirituality among modern humans in their understanding and treatment of nature. The loss of sacred awareness of nature as God's… s creation has led to an exploitative, rather than participatory, relationship between humans and nature. This study aims to examine the connection between the exploitation of nature and spiritual decadence, as well as how Islamic values can provide a relevant and transformative ecological ethical framework. The method used is a qualitative study with a literature review approach, involving critical analysis of Islamic texts and spiritual ecology theories from thinkers such as Seyyed Hossein Nasr and Roy A. Rappaport. The results of the study show that Islamic principles such as Tawhid, Khilafah, Amanah, and Shari'ah have strong potential to shape spiritual-based ecological awareness. Additionally, rituals in traditional and religious communities also function as ecological and moral mechanisms. In conclusion, the reconstruction of Islamic spiritual values in an environmental context is essential to address contemporary ecological crises, particularly in Indonesia.

THE QUR'AN, DIGITAL TOOLS AND THE TRANSFORMATION OF RELIGIOUS MEDIA

Abstract: This study examines the development of Al-Quran digital tools and their impact on Islamic learning in the context of religious media transformation. The study was conducted with a qualitative approach, using the documentation… ation study method and content analysis of the Al-Quran mobile application available on Android and iOS platforms within the last five years. The analysis is focused on aspects of usability, accessibility, and digital features that support learning and understanding of the Quran. The findings of the study reveal that the integration of digital technology and religious content has resulted in a new paradigm in the learning and dissemination of Islamic messages, marking social change and increased transformation of religious media. This research produces a comprehensive evaluation framework for Al-Quran digital tools and typologies based on categories and functionality, which makes theoretical and practical contributions to the development of Al-Quran mobile applications in the future.  

MAQASHID AL-QUR'AN AND BUDGET EFFICIENCY

Abstract: This study examines the relationship between the concept of Maqashid Al-Quran and the optimization of budget management in the context of Islamic economics. Using the systematic literature review method, this article collects… lects and analyzes publications from Scopus indexed journals in the last 10 years to identify conceptual frameworks and indicators of budget efficiency that can be synergized with the principles of Maqashid Al-Quran. The findings of the study show that the implementation of maqashid values—such as the protection of soul, religion, intellect, descent, and property—can be the basis for formulating budgeting policies that are not only efficient but also socially just. In addition, this article develops an innovative analysis model, integrates budget efficiency indicators with the maqashid principle, and offers practical implementation recommendations for researchers and policymakers. The implications of this research are expected to help in the formulation of more holistic and progressive Islamic economic policies. This research has shown that the integration of the principles of Maqashid Al-Quran into budget management has the potential to improve fiscal policy by strengthening aspects of justice, transparency, and efficiency. Using the systematic literature review method, this article not only identifies gaps in the conventional literature, but also offers an innovative framework that can be used as a reference for researchers and practitioners in the development of Islamic economics. The implementation of this framework requires a joint commitment between stakeholders to reform fiscal governance and integrate ethical values at every policy stage. It is hoped that the results of this research will provide inspiration for the development of a long-term strategy that is progressive, based on maqashid in budget management, and will be an important contribution in realizing public governance that is fair, efficient, and oriented towards community welfare.  

COMMUNICATION PATTERNS BETWEEN TEACHERS AND STUDENTS IN THE TEACHING AND LEARNING PROCESS (SMK ISLAMIC CENTER BAITURRAHMAN)

Abstract: This study aims to examine and analyze communication patterns between teachers and students in the teaching and learning process at SMK Islamic Center Baiturrahman. Communication between teachers and students plays a crucial… cial role in creating an effective and conducive learning atmosphere. This study uses a descriptive qualitative approach with observation, interview, and documentation methods as data collection techniques. The results of the study indicate that communication patterns in this school run in an open, participatory, and religious atmosphere. Teachers not only act as conveyors of information, but also as guides and motivators who establish positive interpersonal relationships with students. Factors such as teaching style, student motivation, and school environmental support influence the smoothness of communication. Effective communication has been shown to improve students' understanding of the subject matter and strengthen their character and discipline. This study concludes that good communication patterns between teachers and students contribute directly to the achievement of learning outcomes and the formation of students' character holistically.

DEVELOPING A HOLISTIC MUSLIM CHARACTER THROUGH MORALITY TOWARD ALLAH, THE PROPHET, PARANETS, AND THE SELF

The findings indicate that integrating morality toward Allah and the Prophet serves as the fundamental foundation in shaping a strong character, while morality toward parents and oneself reinforces the social and psychological dimensions of a Muslim individual. Consistent application of these moral values contributes to the formation of a harmonious, responsible, and virtuous Muslim personality in daily life. This study offers significant implications for Islamic character education and spiritual development of the Muslim community

The role of a leader is to organize, manage, protect, preserve, and utilize all the resources that Allah has provided on this earth for the benefit and well-being of humankind. To fulfill his responsibilities as a leader, Allah prepared and equipped Adam (peace be upon him) with intellect and knowledge . In Surah At-Tin, verse 4, Allah explains: "Indeed, We created man in the best of stature," which means that Allah created humans in the most perfect form, endowed with intellect. With this intellect, humans are able to explore all of their potential for the benefit of humanity.

Teachers play a critical role in selecting relevant stories and applying diverse techniques supported by multimedia to maximize student engagement and comprehension. Despite challenges such as limited instructional time, scarcity of quality materials, and fluctuating student attention, technological advancements present promising opportunities for digital and interactive storytelling. The successful integration of Islamic stories in the curriculum requires well-designed educational frameworks, teacher competencies, and continuous reflection and evaluation to cultivate ethical and religious values effectively among students.

KENDURI NASI TRADITION IN THE MONTH OF SHA'BAN: STUDY OF THE VALUE OF ISLAMIC EDUCATION IN MALAY CULTURE

Abstract: The Kenduri Nasi tradition, held during the month of Sha'ban, is a tangible manifestation of the acculturation between Malay culture and Islamic teachings. This tradition not only strengthens social bonds but also functions… ons as a medium for internalizing Islamic educational values such as shukr (gratitude), ukhuwwah (brotherhood), and social awareness. Using a qualitative approach through a literature review, this study explores the embedded Islamic values within Kenduri Nasi and its role in preserving local cultural identity. The findings reveal that Kenduri Nasi serves as a contextual medium for transmitting religious values across generations through culturally rooted practices. This tradition exemplifies a positive syncretism between Islamic teachings and Malay customs, making it relevant for character education based on local wisdom. It also provides a meaningful model for integrating religious teachings into everyday life in a way that is both accessible and culturally sensitive.
