ANALYSIS OF HOMOPHONE PHYRAMID LANGUAGE IN THE LANI TRIBE” PAPUA PEGUNUNGAN

Kogoya, Napius, Halitopo, Manase
Abstract: This study analyzes the phenomenon of homophone pyramid language in the Lani Tribe of Papua Pegunungan, revealing that homophones in the Lani language are not merely linguistic coincidences but embody unique phonological… patterns and semantic variations deeply connected to the tribe’s cultural and environmental context. Through descriptive linguistic analysis and field-based data collection, the study identifies several instances of lexical homophony such as tu (“door” / “road”), mayu (“rain” / “salt”), nengge (“eat” / “drink”), ngilu (“cucumber” / “snack”), eyo (“tree” / “barren”), kolee (“leader” / “older man”), abila (“pregnant” / “fat man”), and anuka (“head” / “Anuak tribe”). These examples demonstrate that meaning in the Lani language is primarily determined by contextual cues and pragmatic usage. The findings suggest that homophones in Lani function as linguistic features and cultural expressions that reflect the tribe’s perception of nature, community roles, and social identity. This research contributes to a broader understanding of Papuan linguistics and underscores the importance of preserving indigenous languages as repositories of cultural knowledge and intellectual heritage.

Sugiarto, Eko, Makiya , Kiki Rizki, Irawati , Novi
Abstract: The purpose of this study is to explain the eco-religious tourism model in the Turgo-Merapi Tourism Village area which is part of the Gunung Merapi National Park (GMNP) in Indonesia. This study uses a descriptive-qualitative… tive method to explore the implementation of ecotourism and religious tourism concepts in the Turgo-Merapi Tourism Village area. The data collected are primary and secondary. Primary data were collected through observation and interviews, secondary data were collected through document studies. The results of the study indicate that eco-religious tourism based on saujana is a model that is considered to be able to link tourism developments planned in local government policy (ecotourism) and developments occurring in the field (religious tourism) as well as accommodating the economic and conservation interests. Eco-religious tourism based on saujana model provides a broad idea that not only has a positive impact on environmental conservation, but also strengthens the social, cultural, and spiritual aspects of communities in areas that still practice religious values. This research is still limited to the southern side of GMNP which is located in Sleman Regency, Special Region of Yogyakarta. Further research is needed with the same theme in Magelang Regency, Boyolali Regency, and Klaten Regency so that it can complete the results of this study.

Nasution, Faisal Hakim, Anwar, Kasful, Rosadi, Kemas Imron, Asrulla, Asrulla
Abstract: The challenges of modern education demand not only academic achievement but also the cultivation of students’ noble character. In this context, the role of principals in Integrated Islamic Senior High Schools (SMA IT) becomes… becomes highly strategic. This study aims to analyze and describe the role and influence of principals’ Islamic integrative leadership on improving the performance of educational staff within SMA IT. A qualitative approach with a phenomenological method was employed. Data were obtained through in-depth interviews with principals and educational staff as well as participant observation. Analysis was conducted interactively through data reduction, presentation, and conclusion drawing. The findings show that Islamic integrative leadership which combines modern leadership models such as transformational, instructional, democratic, servant, and distributive leadership with Islamic values such as exemplary conduct (uswah hasanah), consultation (syura), trustworthiness (amanah), justice, and a clear vision significantly enhances the performance of educational staff. The integration of these values creates a work culture imbued with a spirit of worship, collaboration, and quality orientation. Educational staff become more motivated, loyal, and productive as they view their work as part of worship. This study concludes that Islamic integrative leadership is not merely a leadership style but an effective organizational culture foundation at SMA IT. Its implementation has been proven to empower educational staff, improve their performance, and support the achievement of sustainable Islamic educational goals. This leadership model is recommended for broader development in Islamic educational institutions.

FOOD SECURITY CHALLENGES AND POLICY RESPONSES IN SOUTH SULAWESI : TOWARD SUSTAINABLE SELF-SUFFICIENCY

Zulkifli, Zulkifli, Dahliana, Besse, Suhartina, Suhartina
Abstract: This study analyzes the challenges of food security and the policy responses of the government in achieving food self-sufficiency in South Sulawesi in 2025. The research aims to identify production-consumption gaps, distribution… ribution bottlenecks, and the impacts of climate variability and agricultural policies on food availability, accessibility, and affordability. A mixed-methods approach was employed, combining qualitative and quantitative techniques through household surveys, in-depth interviews with farmers and policymakers, field observations, and secondary data from the Central Statistics Agency and the South Sulawesi Agricultural Department. The results reveal persistent production deficits for rice and soybeans, while corn has reached a surplus, illustrating structural imbalances among staple commodities. Approximately 62% of respondents reported difficulties in transportation and storage due to inadequate infrastructure, contributing to post-harvest losses and unstable food prices. Government programs such as irrigation development, input subsidies, and farmer training have provided partial benefits, yet 57% of farmers indicated irregular access to such support. Moreover, climate shocks such as El Niño continue to depress yields and increase vulnerability among smallholder farmers. Conversely, social capital, manifested in farmer groups and cooperative networks, has played a significant role in sustaining household food availability and resilience. The findings suggest that food security in South Sulawesi cannot be addressed solely through production increases. A multifaceted strategy is required, emphasizing rural infrastructure development, climate-smart agricultural innovation, institutional and irrigation reform, and community-based mechanisms that strengthen social capital. This integrative approach provides empirical evidence for policy design and contributes to the broader discourse on sustainable food self-sufficiency in Indonesia.

THE LEGAL POLITICS OF THE FORMATION OF JOB CREATION LAW WITHIN THE FRAMEWORK OF RESPONSIVE LAWS

Febriana, Lega Rahayu, Setiadi , Wicipto, Ahsin Thohari, Ahmad
Abstract: The introduction of the omnibus methodology to Indonesian lawmaking through the Job Creation Law has generated intense scholarly debate over the balance between regulatory efficiency and democratic legitimacy. Drawing on… Nonet and Selznick’s responsive law theory, this study examines the legal politics underpinning the formation of Law No. 11 of 2020, PERPPU No. 2 of 2022, and Law No. 6 of 2023 within Indonesia’s civil‐law framework. Using normative legal research methods including statutory interpretation, constitutional doctrinal analysis, and comparative legal study this article traces the procedural trajectory from initial draft to successive judicial reviews (Decision Nos. 91/PUU-XVIII/2020 and 168/PUU-XXI/2023). The findings reveal systemic procedural deficiencies: exclusion of affected stakeholders, lack of meaningful public participation, and executive reliance on emergency powers instead of mandated legislative revision. The Constitutional Court’s interventions have served as corrective “strange attractors,” introducing “meaningful participation” requirements (right to be heard, right to be considered, and right to explanation) and compelling the government to adopt legislative reforms. However, persistent executive resistance underscores enduring tensions between efficiency‐oriented omnibus reforms and procedural legitimacy. The study concludes that forthcoming legislative efforts particularly the mandated separate Employment Law will determine whether Indonesia’s legal system advances toward genuinely responsive law or reverts to repressive practices. These insights hold broader significance for comparative constitutionalism and the global discourse on omnibus legislation in developing democracies.

QUANTITATIVE ROADMAP: EXPLORING METHODOLOGY THROUGH THE LENS LITERATURE REVIEW

Juniarti, Leni, Donna Boedi Maritasari, Dinda Rizka Amalia, Nurul Aini
Abstract: Quantitative research is a crucial foundation in the scientific landscape to understand phenomena objectively and measurably. Although essential, there is often a gap between methodological idealism and research practice,… , especially among novice researchers, which is indicated by the use of quantitative methods that are not optimal in student theses due to lack of mastery of methodology and statistics, marked by inconsistencies in variable logic, lack of theoretical basis, data bias, sampling technique errors, to inaccuracy in testing the validity of instruments and statistical analysis. Through a systematic and comprehensive literature review, this article aims to present a complete picture of the “roadmap” of quantitative research, including the essence, principles, key stages (starting from problem formulation, sample determination, instrument development, data collection, to analysis and interpretation of results), and its various types, rooted in the positivist paradigm that emphasizes objectivity and hypothesis testing. Although quantitative research offers significant advantages such as time efficiency and generalizability, challenges such as difficulty in data collection and lack of in-depth analysis also need to be overcome, so improving methodological and statistical training is crucial to producing valid, accountable scientific work that contributes significantly to the development of science.
