Researchers analyzed how the integration of information technology in MIS helps financial managers in collecting, managing, and analyzing financial information to support timely and accurate decision-making. This study employed a qualitative descriptive method using secondary data sources collected through a literature review and document analysis. The findings indicate that the application of information technology in MIS has had a positive impact on the financial decision-making process, including increased data accessibility, faster and more accurate analysis, and a better understanding of the organization's financial conditions. The practical implications of these findings include the importance of investing in adequate information technology infrastructure and developing competent human resources in managing management information systems. This study aims to compare the Weighted Moving Average and Single Exponential Smoothing algorithms in forecasting room reservations at Raz Hotel and Convention Medan using historical data from January 2025 to May 2026. The research method consisted of data collection, forecasting using both algorithms, and accuracy evaluation through Mean Absolute Deviation, Mean Squared Error, and Mean Absolute Percentage Error. The results indicate that the Single Exponential Smoothing algorithm achieved a Mean Absolute Percentage Error of 15.24%, which is lower than the 15.63% obtained by the Weighted Moving Average algorithm. Furthermore, the Single Exponential Smoothing algorithm predicted 835.90 room reservations for June 2026. Therefore, it can be concluded that the Single Exponential Smoothing algorithm provides better forecasting accuracy and is more suitable for predicting room reservations at Raz Hotel and Convention Medan.

communities residing on both sides of the border, sharing strong historical, cultural, and economic ties. The research was conducted in Kampung Sota, Sota District, Merauke Regency, South Papua Province, using a qualitative method with a descriptive approach and interactive model analysis by Miles, Huberman, and Saldana. The findings reveal that the key supporting factors for social interaction are mostly located in Sota-Indonesia, including better geographic access, infrastructure availability, border pass policy, favorable security conditions, and active economic and educational activities. On the other hand, the main hindering factors are found in Waiber-PNG, such as difficult geographic access, lack of infrastructure, limited governmental policies, and issues related to civil registration. Culturally and socially, the Kanum people experience no barriers due to shared values, traditions, and language. This study concludes that cross-border interdependence is not solely determined by national boundaries but also shaped by socio-cultural dynamics and inclusive policies.

d to enhance employee performance, especially in carrying out operational tasks that require punctuality and responsibility. This study uses a quantitative method with a simple linear regression approach to test the effect of work discipline (independent variable) on employee performance (dependent variable). The sample used in this study consists of 40 respondents, who are employees of the Police Pamong Praja and Fire Department of Merauke Regency.
The results of the study show that the t-value for work discipline (X) is 8.479, which is greater than the t-table value of 2.026. In addition, the significance value for work discipline (X) is 0.000, which is smaller than the probability value of 0.005. Therefore, it can be concluded that H0 is rejected and H1 is accepted, meaning that there is a significant effect of work discipline on employee performance at the Police Pamong Praja and Fire Department of Merauke Regency. These findings indicate that the better the work discipline of employees, the higher the performance produced. This study provides important contributions in understanding how work discipline can play a role in improving employee performance in government institutions, particularly in the fire department sector.

since the 2004 elections. This policy aims to increase women's participation in politics and ensure women's voices are represented in decision-making. However, even though this policy has been implemented, women's representation in parliament is still far from the expected target. In the 2019 elections, women's representation in the People's Representative Council (DPR) only reached 20.5%. This research analyses the implementation and effectiveness of gender quota policies in Indonesia using a qualitative approach. Findings show that the main obstacles to implementing gender quotas include the dominance of patriarchal culture, lack of support from political parties, discrimination against female candidates, and weak supervision and law enforcement. On the other hand, this policy has made a positive contribution in the form of increasing the number of women elected as legislative members, although this contribution is still limited. In conclusion, the effectiveness of the 30% quota policy for women in parliament requires strengthening commitment from various parties, including political parties, society, and election management institutions. Research recommendations include strengthening the capacity of female candidates, increasing supervision of quota implementation, as well as wider outreach about the importance of women's representation in politics. With these steps, it is hoped that gender equality in parliament can be achieved better in the future.
