AKIDAH AKHLAK DALAM PENDIDIKAN AGAMA ISLAM: KAJIAN TERHADAP PERAN MORAL DALAM PEMBENTUKAN KARAKTER PELAJAR

Jusmaliah, Jusmaliah, Risnawati Hannang, Nurul Ilma
Abstract: Islamic Religious Education (PAI) plays a critical role in shaping both the intellectual and moral character of students. It emphasizes the importance of akidah (faith) and akhlak (ethics) as the core elements of Islamic… teachings. Akidah involves a profound belief in the One and Only God, Allah SWT, while akhlak reflects a person’s behavior towards God and fellow human beings. Education focused on these aspects helps create well-rounded students who possess not only intellectual capabilities but also strong moral values, empathy, and the ability to contribute positively to society. However, the rise of globalization and technological advancements, particularly through social media, presents challenges in preserving Islamic values in education. These external influences can expose students to ideologies and behaviors that conflict with Islamic principles. Historical Islamic figures, including the Prophets, have exemplified the correct practice of akidah and akhlak, setting an example for current generations. The Quran and Hadith emphasize the importance of adhering to moral values and avoiding negative behaviors. As such, integrating akidah and akhlak in the PAI curriculum is vital for developing students' character and integrity. This study aims to explore how moral education can shape the character of students by focusing on akidah and akhlak, and how this integration can create a generation that is responsible, principled, and capable of thriving in a complex and diverse world. By enhancing akidah and akhlak education, this study seeks to contribute to the improvement of educational policies and the development of morally grounded individuals in Indonesian society.

Rahimsyah. The analysis focuses on aesthetic aspects such as narrative structure and style of language as well as Islamic ethical aspects such as moral values of honesty, empathy, and responsibility. The results of the study indicate that the stories present an aesthetically pleasing narrative with communicative language, effectively capturing children's attention while facilitating understanding of the moral messages. Islamic ethical values are implicitly embedded in the plot and characters, making them an effective medium for character education. This study recommends the utilization of Islamic stories as religious literacy materials to support values-based learning in elementary schools.

IBN MISKAWAIH'S ETHICAL ANALYSIS OF HIFZ NASL IN OVERCOMING DEEPFAKE PORNOGRAPHY IN THE AI ERA

Utami, Nadia, Purnamasari, Elvira
Abstract: In the era of artificial intelligence (AI), the rise of pornographic deepfakes poses a serious threat to human dignity, privacy, and social stability. This phenomenon exploits deep learning technology to manipulate individuals’… iduals’ faces into non-consensual pornographic content, often targeting women and public figures. This paper examines the ethics of Ibn Miskawayh, a 10th-century Muslim philosopher, specifically the concept of hifz al-nasl (preservation of lineage) as one of the five maqasid al-shari’a (Islamic principles), to address this issue. Hifz al-nasl emphasizes the protection of human lineage, including family honor, women’s dignity, and social integrity, which are relevant to the psychological damage, trauma, and moral degradation caused by deepfakes. Through an analysis of the texts Tahdhib al-Akhlaq and Al-Fauz al-Asghar, this concept is outlined as a preventive and curative principle: prevention through strengthening individual morals and regulating technology, and treatment through restorative justice. Ibn Miskawayh combines Aristotelian philosophy with Islam, making hifz al-nasl a collective obligation to maintain the balance of the soul (nafs) and society. Its applications to deepfakes include: (1) ethical use of AI based on piety and ‘adl; (2) legal regulations that protect privacy as an extension of preserving lineage; and (3) moral education to build digital resilience. This study concludes that Ibn Miskawaih’s approach offers a holistic framework, integrating spiritual, ethical, and legal dimensions, that is more adaptive than technological solutions alone. Recommendations include the development of contemporary fatwas and ethical AI platforms for the digital age.

Suliani, Suliani, Pamungkas, Joko
Abstract: This study describes the strategies and mentoring model implemented by HIMPAUDI in Krui, West Pesisir Regency, to improve the professionalism of early childhood education teachers. This research employed a descriptive qualitative… alitative approach, with primary data collected through a structured interview with a HIMPAUDI board member in West Pesisir Regency. The findings show that HIMPAUDI mentoring is carried out through tiered training, curriculum and learning workshops, teacher working groups, seminars, mentoring, supervision, sharing of good practices, and socialization of professional ethics. The mentoring model is participatory, collaborative, continuous, needs-based, reflective, and ethical-professional. These activities strengthen teachers pedagogical, professional, social, and personal competencies, particularly in understanding child development, designing creative learning, developing learning media, adapting the curriculum, and maintaining professional responsibility. However, implementation is constrained by limited time, training costs, unequal access to information, varied teacher motivation, digital competence, and coastal geographical conditions. The study recommends strengthening local professional development through professional learning communities, mentoring cycles, digital support, and institutional collaboration among HIMPAUDI, local government, higher education institutions, and early childhood education providers.

Adityawati, Marlia
Abstract: This study aims to analyze strategies for strengthening work culture through the implementation of ethical leadership and servant leadership at PT. Mitsubishi Electric Automotive Indonesia, and to identify the challenges… and contributions of these two leadership styles to strengthening work culture in the automotive manufacturing industry. This study used a qualitative approach with a single case study method. Data were collected through in-depth interviews with 10 informants consisting of management level, supervisors, and production line employees. Participatory observation was conducted over three weeks, supported by analysis of company documents. Data analysis used direct interview methods and in-depth observation. The results of the study revealed five main implementation strategies: (1) leaders exemplifying ethical behavior; (2) employee empowerment through delegation of authority; (3) developing two-way communication mechanisms; (4) creating a supportive and family-like work environment; and (5) integrating ethical values into the performance management system. The dimensions of family atmosphere and identification with the leader were identified as key success factors in Indonesia's collectivist cultural context. Key challenges include resistance to change, measuring short-term impact, and consistency amidst production pressures. This study recommends integrating ethical values and servant behavior into recruitment systems, developing ethics-based leadership training programs, and designing performance management systems that balance quantitative targets with ethical behavior assessments. This study is the first to integrate ethical leadership and servant leadership within a framework for strengthening work culture in the automotive manufacturing industry, with specifically case study in PT. ACCOUNTABILITY OF CIVIL CIVIL APPARATUS PERFORMANCE IN THE DEPARTMENT OF EDUCATION AND CULTURE OF WEST KALIMANTAN PROVINCE

Andriani, Nining
Abstract: The problem in this research includes the still low level of ASN compliance in compiling and reporting Employee Performance Targets. The purpose of this study is to describe and analyze the performance measurement of civil… il servants at the Education and Culture Office of West Kalimantan Province, seen from the aspects of: Accountability, Responsibility, and Responsiveness. The results of the study indicate that Accountability, Responsibility, and Responsiveness are key elements in reflecting the quality of civil servant performance at the Education and Culture Office of West Kalimantan Province. However, in its implementation, these three aspects have not been running optimally. ASN accountability is still hampered by a lack of discipline in reporting and minimal transparency of work results. Responsibility is also not fully reflected in ASN's commitment to carrying out duties and responsibilities professionally. On the other hand, responsiveness to community needs, especially in the fields of education and culture, is still relatively slow, which indicates a lack of active involvement of ASN in absorbing and responding to public aspirations quickly and appropriately. This research recommends strategic steps to strengthen accountability through a more structured and regularly monitored performance reporting system. Improving accountability can be achieved through ongoing development, professional ethics training, and consistent enforcement of work discipline. To enhance responsiveness, a more participatory and adaptive public service mechanism needs to be developed to meet community needs.

Yuttami Keila Azahra, Patima Aprilia Azzahra, Zakia Amalia Putri
Abstract: This study examines the integration of philosophy of science in the development of a holistic counseling model through a literature review of ten relevant articles. The results of the study show that philosophy of science… e plays a fundamental role through three integrated dimensions: ontology, which views humans as complex beings with biological, psychological, social, and spiritual dimensions; epistemology, which integrates the paradigms of postpositivism, constructivism-interpretivism, and critical-ideological; and axiology, which emphasizes professional ethical values. The integration of these three dimensions enables counseling practices to be more meaningful, effective, and responsive to the complexity of contemporary issues. The main challenge faced is the gap in philosophical understanding among counseling practitioners. A holistic counseling model based on the integration of the philosophy of science is a theoretical and practical necessity for producing comprehensive counseling services that are appropriate to the Indonesian socio-cultural context.

POSITIONING DIGITAL LITERACY IN MODERN PESANTREN: TEACHERS’ PERCEPTIONS AND EDUCATIONAL IMPLEMENTATION

Saing, Marnang, Panggabean, Hadi Saputra, Yunus, Anwar, Nafiza Fadia
Abstract: Digital literacy has become an essential competence in modern education; however, its implementation in pesantren presents distinctive dynamics, particularly when institutions restrict students’ access to digital devices… es while simultaneously encouraging teachers to master digital literacy. This study aims to examine how digital literacy is positioned, perceived, and implemented in the learning process at Pesantren Ar-Raudlatul Hasanah as one of Indonesia’s modern pesantren. Employing a qualitative approach with a case study design, data were collected through semi-structured interviews, non-participant observation of classroom practices and pesantren activities, and analysis of institutional documents. The data were analyzed using thematic analysis to identify relevant patterns and key themes. The findings reveal that digital literacy in the pesantren is positioned primarily as a learning resource mediated by teachers rather than as an individual competence freely accessible to students. Teachers’ perceptions of digital literacy are reflective and selective, shaped by moral and scholarly responsibility, concern for students’ ethical conduct (adab), and apprehension regarding the negative impacts of the digital environment. In terms of implementation, digital literacy is applied in a limited and functional manner through teachers’ use of digital learning media, basic computer courses for students, cultural and extracurricular pesantren activities, and the digitalization of institutional administrative systems. This study concludes that the pesantren has developed a contextual and ethically grounded model of digital literacy, in which technology functions as a supportive educational tool without displacing core values, scholarly authority, or the primary goal of students’ character formation. These findings contribute empirical insights to the growing body of research on digital literacy within the context of Islamic education, particularly in modern pesantren
