IMPLEMENTATION OF DEEP LEARNING APPROACH IN INDONESIAN LANGUAGE LEARNING TO DEVELOP CRITICAL AND REFLECTIVE THINKING SKILLS OF HIGH SCHOOL STUDENTS

Abstract: This study aims to describe the implementation of the deep learning approach  in Indonesian language learning and its impact on the development of critical and reflective thinking skills of high school students in several… al schools in Makassar City. The deep learning approach  is seen as an innovative learning strategy that emphasizes high-level thinking processes, active engagement, and deep reflection on teaching materials. The research method used is descriptive qualitative with data collection techniques through observation of learning activities, interviews with teachers and students, and analysis of learning outcome documents. The results of the study show that the application  of the deep learning approach  contributes positively to improving the quality of learning interactions and students' metacognitive awareness. Students show high ability to identify problems, analyze arguments, draw logical conclusions, and reflect on the learning process. Deep learning-based learning  also strengthens collaborative interaction patterns in the classroom and encourages students' intellectual independence. Thus, the deep learning approach is  relevant to be applied in Indonesian language learning in high school to foster critical, reflective, and literacy skills in accordance with the demands of 21st century education.

UTILIZING INTERACTIVE TECHNOLOGY AND ARTIFICIAL INTELLIGENCE FOR 21ST-CENTURY TEACHERS

Abstract: This study aims to describe the utilization of interactive technology and artificial intelligence (AI) to enhance the competencies of 21st-century teachers within the Educational Coordination Office of Pangkatan Sub-District,… rict, Labuhanbatu Regency, North Sumatra Province. The research employed a descriptive qualitative method with a field study approach through a six-day workshop. The subjects of this study consisted of 20 elementary school teachers who participated in training sessions on Quizizz, Wordwall, and the use of AI tools such as ChatGPT in the learning process. Data were collected through observation, interviews, pre-test and post-test assessments, as well as documentation, and were analyzed through data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing. The findings indicate a significant improvement in teachers’ understanding and skills in integrating interactive technology and AI into the learning process. The average pre-test score of 70.00% increased to 89.00% in the post-test, indicating a 19.00% improvement in competency. In addition, teachers successfully developed gamification-based learning media using Quizizz and Wordwall, and utilized artificial intelligence to efficiently design teaching materials and evaluation tasks. The workshop activities also fostered teachers’ motivation, creativity, and digital awareness regarding the importance of innovation in 21st-century education.This study affirms that the integration of interactive technology and AI not only enhances teachers’ pedagogical competencies but also contributes to the development of a more adaptive, collaborative, and digitally relevant learning ecosystem aligned with the needs of the modern era.

THE INFLUENCE OF IN DEPTH LEARNING ON STUDENTS MOTIVATION AND LEARNING INDEPENDENCE AT PADANGSIDIMPUAN STATE ELEMENTARY SCHOOL 200306

Abstract: Abstract This study aims to analyze the effect of the implementation of immersive learning on student motivation and learning independence at Padangsidimpuan Public Elementary School 200306. The background of this research… arch stems from the need to provide a learning process that is not only oriented towards final results, but also encourages students to understand the meaning of learning, think critically, and take responsibility for their learning process. The research method used was a quantitative approach with a quasi-experimental design. The study subjects included 50 fifth-grade students divided into an experimental group and a control group. Data collection instruments included a learning motivation questionnaire, a learning independence observation sheet, and documentation of learning outcomes. Data were analyzed using a t-test to determine significant differences between the two groups.   The results showed that the implementation of immersive learning had a positive and significant impact on increasing student motivation and learning independence. Students participating in immersive learning demonstrated greater enthusiasm, active question-asking, and the ability to manage assignments independently compared to those in the control group. These findings indicate that immersive learning strategies can be an effective alternative in developing reflective, independent, and problem-solving-oriented learners. Thus, the implementation of immersive learning in elementary schools needs to be continuously strengthened through teacher training, the development of teaching materials, and a learning culture that fosters students' ongoing curiosity.    

DEVELOPING LEARNING MATERIALS ORIENTED TO A REALISTIC MATHEMATICS EDUCATION APPROACH INTEGRATED WITH ETHNOMATHEMATICS TO ENHANCE STUDENTS’ MATHEMATICAL PROBLEM-SOLVING SKILLS

Abstract: This research aims to develop a mathematics learning device oriented toward the Realistic Mathematics Education (RME) approach based on Ethnomathematics to improve students’ mathematical problem-solving skills at MTs Negeri… egeri 3 Tapanuli Selatan. The study employed a Research and Development (R&D) design using the 4-D model, which consists of four stages: defining, designing, developing, and disseminating. The research subjects were 36 seventh-grade students in the second semester of the 2022/2023 academic year. The instruments used included expert validation sheets, teacher and student practicality questionnaires, classroom observation sheets, and mathematical problem-solving tests. The results revealed that the developed learning device achieved an average expert validation score of 4.25 in the very valid category in terms of content, language, and presentation. The practicality test showed that the teacher’s response reached 89% and the students’ response reached 91%, categorized as very practical, indicating that the device was easy to use and engaging for students. The effectiveness test showed an average N-Gain score of 0.52 (moderate category) with 86.11% of students achieving mastery learning, signifying that the learning device was effective in enhancing students’ mathematical problem-solving abilities. The integration of the realistic mathematics approach with local cultural elements (ethnomathematics) successfully created meaningful and contextual learning experiences while fostering students’ appreciation for their cultural heritage. Therefore, the developed learning device is feasible to be implemented as an innovative mathematics learning medium based on cultural contexts in junior high schools and madrasah.

EFFECTIVENESS OF DEVELOPING DIGITAL TEACHING MATERIALS FOR INDONESIAN LANGUAGE FOR FOREIGN SPEAKERS (BIPA) 1 ON GRAMMAR COMPETENCY BASED ON THE ANIMAKER APPLICATION

Abstract: This research was motivated by the scarcity of Indonesian language teaching materials for foreign speakers (BIPA). The large interest of foreigners in learning Indonesian is still hampered by the lack of availability of… BIPA teaching materials. This limited teaching material is an important problem that teachers often face in BIPA learning activities. Therefore, the development of BIPA teaching materials is urgently needed. The problems studied in this research are (1) characteristics of BIPA 1 teaching materials currently used in BIPA learning, (2) development of BIPA 1 teaching materials based on the Animaker application as alternative teaching materials in BIPA learning, (3) feasibility of developing BIPA teaching materials 1 based on the Animaker application in BIPA learning, and (4) the effectiveness of developing BIPA 1 teaching materials based on the Animaker application based on BIPA learners' understanding. This research uses a Research and Development (R&D) approach. This research uses three data collection techniques, namely observation, questionnaires, and documentation to obtain data on the needs for developing teaching materials and evaluating teaching material prototypes. The data sources consist of BIPA teachers, BIPA students and expert lecturers. Data analysis in this research uses descriptive qualitative which consists of data presentation and data conclusions. The results of this research are that BIPA students often feel bored and confused by teaching materials that are only presented in the form of textbooks and very short material. Therefore, teaching materials need to be developed in accordance with Widodo and Jasmadi's theory of teaching material characteristics so that they can support independent learning, deeper understanding, contextualization of material, increased motivation, comprehensive language skills, adaptation to technological developments, learning flexibility, and strengthening skills. grammar. The development of teaching materials through Animaker shows the dominance of changes in substantial and visual aspects, which shows a comparison of characteristics between original and developed teaching materials. UTILIZATION OF ARTIFICIAL INTELLIGENCE (AI) AS A SOURCE OF TEACHING MATERIALS FOR TEACHERS: ANALYSIS OF POTENTIAL, CHALLENGES, AND CONTENT ACCURACY

Abstract: The development of Artificial Intelligence (AI) technology is currently progressing very rapidly and has had a major influence on various sectors, including the education sector, offering great potential in compiling engaging… aging and relevant teaching materials. However, teachers still face challenges related to limitations in time, energy, technological understanding, and the accuracy of AI-generated content. Findings from the analysis show that AI has a significant capability to support teachers in designing learning materials relevant to student needs, as well as testing the accuracy of AI-generated content related to the learning material. Using a non-participant observation method, data was collected through social media, unstructured interviews with lecturers, teachers, and the general public, as well as testing the content of AI platforms such as ChatGPT, Gemini, and Meta AI. This research uses a descriptive qualitative approach to analyze the data. The study's findings reveal that artificial intelligence has a significant capacity to support educators in designing learning materials, while also optimizing time productivity and teaching innovation. However, the accuracy of AI content, although quite high for basic concepts, often does not include specific sources or references, thus requiring manual verification by teachers. The main challenges include a lack of training and technological understanding. It is recommended that teachers undergo AI training and always verify AI content with trusted sources.

BUILDING FAMILY FINANCIAL INDEPENDENCE IN THE DIGITAL ERA

Low financial literacy and limited use of technology have caused some families to struggle in achieving… hieving financial independence. This community service activity aims to enhance family financial independence through socialization, digital financial literacy training, and technology-based business mentoring. The implementation methods include problem identification, delivery of financial literacy materials, practical use of digital financial applications, and online entrepreneurship assistance. The results show an increase in families’ knowledge of budgeting, saving, and utilizing digital platforms to generate additional income. Thus, this program contributes to the creation of more financially independent families in the digital era.

CORRELATION BETWEEN KNOWLEDGE, ATTITUDE, AND COMPLIANCE WITH THE USE OF PERSONAL PROTECTIVE EQUIPMENT AMONG CLEANING SERVICE STAFF IN CITO LABORATORY

Abstract: Cleaning service staff working in laboratories are at high risk of exposure to hazardous materials. The use of personal protective equipment (PPE) is a crucial step in preventing occupational accidents. However, the level&#8230; l of compliance with PPE usage varies and is influenced by the knowledge and attitude of the staff. This issue highlights the need to understand the relationship between the knowledge and attitudes of cleaning service staff and their compliance with the use of PPE. This study employed an analytical design with a cross-sectional approach. A total of 58 cleaning service staff participated as respondents, selected through total sampling. Data were collected using a structured questionnaire and analyzed using the chi-square test. The results showed that 60.3% of respondents had good knowledge regarding the use of PPE, while 73% had a positive attitude toward its usage. The chi-square test revealed a p-value of 0.03 (<0.05), indicating a significant relationship between attitude and compliance with PPE usage among cleaning service staff. The chi-square test for the relationship between knowledge and compliance yielded a p-value of 0.01 (<0.05), indicating a significant relationship between knowledge and compliance. The findings indicate that the knowledge of cleaning service staff positively correlates with their compliance in using PPE. Staff members with good knowledge were more likely to comply with PPE usage. Adequate knowledge enables staff to understand laboratory risks and the benefits of PPE in preventing exposure to hazardous materials, thereby encouraging safer behavior, promoting communication among staff, reminding one another, and embedding safety values into daily work routines.

LEGAL CERTAINTY OF FINANCING OF MERAH PUTIH VILLAGE COOPERATIVES: INSTITUTIONAL ANALYSIS BETWEEN THE PRINCIPLE OF COOPERATIVE INDEPENDENCE AND STATE INTERVENTION

Abstract: This study examines the legal certainty of financing for Indonesia's Desa Merah Putih Cooperative (KDMP) initiative, analyzing the institutional tension between cooperative independence and state intervention. Rooted in&#8230; the constitutional mandate for cooperatives as a cornerstone of the Indonesian economy, the KDMP program aims to establish 80,000 village-level cooperatives through state-facilitated credit lines and technical assistance. However, this top-down model raises concerns about undermining cooperative autonomy enshrined in Law No. 25/1992 and the principle of subsidiarity. Employing a normative juridical research design, this study draws on secondary data from legal literature and primary legal materials to systematically examine relevant norms and doctrines. Findings reveal a tenuous alignment between state financing mechanisms and cooperative autonomy, primarily due to the proposed reliance on state-owned bank credit lines rather than direct state budget grants, leading to legal ambiguity regarding accountability and oversight. The potential for mass loan defaults and the contentious use of Village Funds as collateral further complicate legal certainty and risk hidden liabilities. Comparative insights from India's Amul cooperative and the Philippines' barangay cooperatives illustrate successful models where government acts as a facilitator without impinging on cooperative self-governance or member control. This study advocates for a recalibrated regulatory approach featuring transparent oversight, proportional supervision, and participatory decision-making to reconcile developmental imperatives with cooperative principles, ultimately enhancing legal certainty and ensuring that state-supported cooperatives remain genuinely member-driven enterprises.

BUILD UNDERSTANDING STUDENT ABOUT METHOD WORK LUNGS THROUGH PROJECT-BASED EXPERIMENTS AT SDN 188 PEKANBARU

Abstract: Science education at the elementary school level has an important role in shaping scientific thinking and improving students' understanding of natural concepts, one of which is the human respiratory system. In this case,&#8230; the lungs become organ vital Which worthy introduced through method interesting and applicable learning. This study aims to describe how the understanding of fifth grade students of SDN 188 Pekanbaru can be improved through project-based experiments on how the lungs work. This experimental method is designed with an active and contextual learning approach, where students are directly involved in the process of making a lung model using simple tools and materials. The results show that student involvement in experiment based on project capable increase enthusiasm learning and conceptual understanding significantly. In addition, this activity also trains critical thinking skills, teamwork, and scientific communication. These findings underscore the importance of integrating a project-based experimental approach in learning Science. Through activity This, Teacher No only teach theory, but also provide meaningful learning experiences that can improve students' overall learning outcomes.
