Abstract: This study aims to describe the implementation of reading literacy strategies in Indonesian learning and identify supporting and inhibiting factors for its application in grade X students of SMA Negeri 13 Jeneponto Regency.… cy. The research uses a qualitative approach with a descriptive type of research. The research subjects consisted of class X Indonesian teachers and class X students who were selected purposively. Data were collected through observation techniques, semi-structured interviews, and documentation, then analyzed using the Miles, Huberman, and Saldana interactive analysis model which included data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawn. The validity of the data was tested through triangulation of sources and techniques. The results of the study showed that the reading literacy strategy was implemented through reading activities 15 minutes before learning, the use of diverse and contextual texts, discussions on reading comprehension, and reflective assignments. The implementation of this strategy encourages increased student participation, the ability to understand the content of reading, and a positive attitude towards reading activities. Supporting factors for the implementation of the reading literacy strategy include teacher commitment, support for school literacy programs, and the availability of reading materials, while inhibiting factors include the low interest in reading of some students, limited learning time, and the influence of gadget use that has not been optimally controlled. This study concludes that reading literacy strategies have an important role in supporting Indonesian learning and need to be implemented sustainably with the support of various parties.

THE RELEVANCE OF IBNU MISKAWAIH'S THOUGHTS ON CHARACTER EDUCATION IN THE CONTEXT OF CONTEMPORARY SOCIAL MEDIA

Fajar Rahman, Bahtiar Siregar, Elsa Padia, Ulil Amri, Kiki Hardini
Abstract: The purpose of this research is to examine how Ibn Miskawayh’s thoughts on moral education influence the management of moral challenges in the current social media era. Various ethical issues such as cyberbullying, the spread… spread of hoaxes, and the lack of politeness in communication have emerged alongside the increase in digital platform usage, indicating a decline in digital morals. This study is a qualitative research using the library research method. The primary data are drawn from Ibn Miskawayh’s seminal work, Tahdhib al-Akhlaq, which is analyzed using content analysis and descriptive-philosophical methods. The results show that Ibn Miskawayh’s concept of moral education remains relevant as a foundation for digital ethics through three main pillars: first, the concept of al-wasat (moderation) which trains social media users to be wise and proportional in consuming information; second, the strengthening of cognitive power (al-quwwah al-nathiqah) to filter negative content; and third, the formation of character based on internal self-control to achieve justice (‘adalah) when interacting in virtual public spaces. The conclusion of this research confirms that Ibn Miskawayh’s thoughts provide a curative and preventive framework for building a more civilized and ethical digital ecosystem.

Fitri Nurhayati M, Tiara Abdurahman, Sahmin Noholo
Abstract: This study aims to analyze how governance failure became a trigger for fraud in investment management at PT ASABRI. The research employs a literature study approach. The results indicate that fraud at PT ASABRI was driven… n by the weak implementation of corporate governance principles, particularly in terms of transparency, accountability, and independence. In addition, violations of the prudential principle and weak internal controls led to investment decisions being made without adequate risk considerations and opened opportunities for collusion between internal and external parties of the company. The findings of this study emphasize that fraud is a direct consequence of governance system failure rather than merely the actions of individuals. Therefore, this study recommends the need for comprehensive governance reform through strengthening risk management, enhancing the transparency of investment reporting, and implementing independent oversight mechanisms to prevent similar cases in the future.

Muliana, Luli, A. Rahman Rahim, Rosmini
Abstract: This study aims to determine the influence of the use of infographic media on the motivation to learn and comprehend news texts of grade VII students of SMP Hasanuddin Gowa. The background of this research departs from the… he low motivation and ability of students to understand news texts, especially in Indonesian learning which requires students to be able to analyze information critically and systematically. Infographic media was chosen as an alternative because it has attractive visual characteristics, is concise, and is able to present complex information in a more understandable way. The research method used was a pseudo-experiment with a nonequivalent control group design. The research sample consisted of two classes, namely the experimental class that obtained learning using infographic media and the control class that obtained conventional learning. Data collection techniques include learning motivation questionnaires, news text comprehension tests, observations, and documentation. Data analysis was carried out through prerequisite tests (normality and homogeneity), t-test, and MANOVA test to see the effect simultaneously. The results showed that there was a significant difference between the experimental class and the control class on the aspect of learning motivation, where the experimental class had a higher average motivation score after the use of infographic media. In addition, students' understanding of news texts in the experimental class also increased significantly compared to the control class. MANOVA's analysis strengthens the finding that infographic media has a simultaneous effect on students' motivation to learn and comprehension of news texts. Thus, this study concludes that infographic media is effectively used as a learning medium in news text materials. Infographics not only increase students' motivation to learn, but also help students understand the content of the news more comprehensively. These findings recommend the use of innovative visual media in Indonesian learning to improve the quality of students' learning processes and outcomes.

Rahman, Abdul, Mahir Pradana, Arry Widodo
Abstract: E-commerce has become one of the most dynamic industries in the digital era, and electronic word of mouth (eWOM) greatly influences consumer behaviour. Shopee, as a popular e-commerce platform in West Java, faces challenges… ges in increasing user purchase intention, particularly with an approach based on review communication and brand image. The objective of this research is to examine how eWOM credibility, quantity, and quality impact purchase intention, with brand image as the mediating variable and situational context as the moderating variable in the study of the Shopee application in West Java. This study uses a quantitative approach with the Structural Equation Modelling-Partial Least Squares (PLS-SEM) method. Data were collected from 500 respondents who are users of the Shopee application in West Java. The research results show that eWOM quantity has the greatest influence on purchase intention, followed by brand image, which has been shown to be a significant mediator. On the other hand, eWOM credibility and quality do not have a direct impact on purchase intention. Furthermore, situational context as a moderating variable does not have a significant impact on the relationship between eWOM quantity and brand image. This study helps e-commerce businesses create better data-driven marketing strategies. To build trust and encourage customer purchasing decisions, it is important to increase the number of reviews, enhance brand reputation, and improve the quality and credibility of the reviews.
