th understanding, this research investigates the content of the extent to which the characters' analytical experiences are in line with Karl Marx's views on class struggle. Findings show emotional representations of poverty, depicted through the return of a person recently released from prison to meet basic needs, and social discrimination, such as the rejection of homeless groups as local residents. This research deepens the understanding of economic structures and dominance interactions, providing insight into the complex relationship between societal forces and individual experiences in this novel. The aim of this research is to understand the various forms of poverty and social discrimination by utilizing the Marxist theory proposed by Karl Marx.
Abstract:Technology is an applied science that encompasses a set of tools, systems, methods, and skills used by humans to solve problems and make work easier. The word comes from the Greek 'techne' (art, craft, skill) and 'logos'…
(science). Some examples of technology vary from simple tools such as prehistoric axes to complex systems such as the internet, which enable humans to innovate and improve the quality of life. The method used in this study is library research, which collects and analyzes various related literature to explore the concept of technology, and the integration model in the implementation of KDKMP technical guidance in Gorontalo, as well as the role of the cooperative office and facilitators in its implementation. The findings indicate that the management and implementation of KKDMP Technical Guidance runs smoothly and with quality thanks to the use of technology. In addition, cooperative facilitators who pass the 2025 test from the Ministry of Cooperatives are expected to be able to implement practices in accordance with the implementation journal and applicable regulations effectively. The Red and White Cooperative is a government program to establish village/sub-district-based economic institutions that aim to improve the welfare and independence of the community through the principles of mutual cooperation and kinship. This cooperative functions as a joint forum for carrying out various local economic efforts, such as providing basic necessities, savings and loan services, and strengthening MSMEs, so as to encourage food security and shorten the supply chain. The Red and White Cooperative Program (Kopdes Merah Putih) is a national initiative to establish cooperatives in every village and sub-district to strengthen the local economy and improve community welfare through the principles of mutual cooperation.

al micro and small enterprises through training, mentoring, and peer learning. Employing a qualitative descriptive approach with the CIPP evaluation model, Bygrave’s 10D framework, and the KSA model, data were collected by interviews, observation, and documentation, then analyzed thematically. Findings indicate the program is generally effective: it addresses members’ real needs, engages competent facilitators despite limited resources, promotes participatory learning, and generates positive impacts on mindset, business practices, and networks. Key entrepreneurial traits—Dreams, Doers, and Destiny—showed significant growth, while financial literacy (Dollars) remained a challenge. Competencies improved across knowledge, practical and digital marketing skills, and attitudes such as confidence, discipline, and adaptability. Overall, the forum demonstrates effectiveness as a community-based entrepreneurship development model that strengthens the local MSME ecosystem.
Abstract:This study discusses the implementation of Government Goods/Services Procurement Electronically (E-Procurement) from the perspective of Collaborative Governance in Pekanbaru City. The focus of this research is on the effetiveness…
etiveness of e-catalogs, the involvement of local business actors, and cooperation between local government agencies. The aim of this research is to analyze and describe the e-procurement process within a collaborative framework and to identify the obstacles faced. This research uses a descriptive qualitative approach with data collection techinuques through interviews with the local UKPBJ of Pekanbaru City, the Departement of Trade and Industry of Pekanbaru City, the Inspectorate of Pekanbaru dan the Department of Cooperatives and MSMEs of Pekanbaru City. The result of this study indicate that collaboration among actors is on going but not yet optimal, especially in horizontal dimensions. The involvement of local business actors is still limited due to a lack of technical assistance and information. This research recommends strebgthening the role of local governments as facilitators of collaboration, enchancing the capatity of business actors, and fostering synergy between institutions to achieve participatory, transparent procurement using domestic products.
Abstract:This study explores how Bugis-Makassar women construct and navigate plural reproductive knowledge in response to abortus imminens (threatened miscarriage), drawing on Talcott Parsons’ AGIL framework to analyze the sociocultural…
ocultural functions of care practices. Based on ethnographic fieldwork in Makassar, Indonesia, including interviews and participant observation with ten pregnant women, the study reveals that reproductive behavior is shaped by adaptive strategies (A), collective goals (G), moral integration (I), and intergenerational transmission of norms (L). Rather than following a singular medical logic, women mobilize syncretic forms of care that blend biomedical treatment, spiritual rituals, and ancestral taboos. These plural responses reflect not only epistemic hybridity but also reproductive governance enacted through kinship, religious authority, and clinical institutions. Women's agency is expressed not through open resistance, but through strategic moral navigation and embodied alignment with normative expectations—a form of what Mahmood terms the ethics of self-formation. The findings challenge biomedical-centric approaches to maternal health and highlight the need for culturally responsive interventions that respect local logics of risk, protection, and care. This study contributes to sociological debates on medical pluralism, moral regulation, and the reproduction of gendered knowledge in the Global South.

library research method, the research systematically reviews academic literature, industry reports, and documented case studies to understand how corporations respond to crises in a hyper-connected environment. The study highlights how traditional theories such as Situational Crisis Communication Theory (SCCT) and Image Repair Theory (IRT) must be adapted to meet the demands of real-time, interactive, and ethically sensitive digital spaces. Through comparative analysis of successful and failed crisis responses—including global cases such as United Airlines and local cases such as Tokopedia—the research reveals that timely, transparent, and empathetic communication on social media significantly influences public perception and corporate reputation recovery. The findings emphasize that a well-designed digital crisis strategy must integrate technical responsiveness with human-centric values to restore trust and sustain long-term relationships with stakeholders.

Abstract:Aceh is part of Indonesia’s archipelagic region and stands as the initial landing place of Islam. Situated on the western coast of Sumatra Island, this region played host to the peaceful introduction of Islam through Arab…
rab traders. The Islamization process, guided by a tasawwuf approach, unfolded smoothly, making it easy for the people of Aceh to embrace the Islamic faith. This underscores the significant role played by the tasawwuf approach and tariqa in the Islamization process. Consequently, the prevailing Islamic thought embraced by the community is infused with the practices of tasawwuf. Tariqa, etymologically meaning a method of practice to achieve a goal, has witnessed a notable increase in its development within the Islamic community. In Sufi terminology, “tariqa” is a form of spiritual practice and soul training aimed at attaining haqiqa (the essence) and ma'rifa (gnosis). These practices and exercises are guided by a spiritual teacher known as a “mursyid” (guide) because the journey between Sharia and haqiqa, according to Sufi scholars, must traverse seven great mountains. Islam significantly influences the way of life in Aceh society, with its people adhering firmly and with a commitment to religious teachings. In essence, Islam is a way of life for the people of Aceh. Over time, Acehnese society has changed its outlook on life. Some individuals practice specific tariqa to draw closer to the Creator. Tariqas such as Qadiriyya, Shattariyya, and Naqshbandiyya are among those that have developed in Indonesia. Engaging in the practices of these tariqas will influence the behavioral patterns of society. Moreover, the religious understanding among the community will change. In other words, the evolving tariqa brings a distinctive spiritual enthusiasm to the religious life of Acehnese society.

rowth through the National Strategic Project (PSN) framework. Despite its potential to increase investment, create employment opportunities, and strengthen industrial competitiveness, the project has generated social conflict and environmental concerns. This study aims to analyze the policy rationale underlying the Rempang–Galang glass factory development, examine its implications for social and environmental justice, and evaluate the policy using William N. Dunn’s policy evaluation model. This research employs a qualitative case study approach. Data were collected through a systematic literature review of policy documents, reports from government institutions and civil society organizations, and relevant academic publications. The data were analyzed using content analysis based on the theoretical frameworks of social justice, environmental justice, and public policy evaluation. The findings reveal that the Rempang–Galang development policy is primarily driven by economic growth and investment-oriented objectives. Its implementation has led to an unequal distribution of development benefits and burdens, reflected in the risks of community relocation, loss of living space, pressure on coastal ecosystems, and the emergence of agrarian conflicts. Evaluation based on Dunn’s criteria indicates persistent challenges related to equity, responsiveness, adequacy, and appropriateness. The study concludes that a more participatory, equitable, and sustainable development approach is required through stronger protection of local community rights, inclusive environmental governance, and a fairer distribution of development benefits.
Abstract:Islamic economics operates as a normative framework prioritizing social justice, equitable wealth redistribution, and collective wellbeing. Despite its robust philosophical foundations, empirical consensus regarding how…
these tenets translate into measurable welfare outcomes across heterogeneous developing nations remains highly fragmented. This study addresses this critical gap by executing a systematic literature review guided by the PRISMA 2020 statement to synthesize empirical evidence on the operationalization of Zakat, Waqf, and Islamic Social Finance (ISF) as structural instruments for poverty reduction. Departing from traditional descriptive reviews, this paper introduces an original analytical taxonomy that maps the operational mechanics of ISF against micro-level and macro-level development outcomes. Based on a rigorous multi-stage screening of peer-reviewed empirical studies published between 2020 and 2025 across emerging economies, a final synthesized sample of $n = 10$ high-quality primary articles was evaluated. The qualitative narrative synthesis reveals that integrated ISF instruments exert a structurally positive impact on poverty alleviation, income optimization, and socio-economic empowerment, particularly when embedded within digital financial ecosystems and formal financial inclusion frameworks. However, the analysis uncovers substantial outcome heterogeneity, demonstrating that welfare efficacy is highly conditional upon institutional governance quality, targeting accuracy, and localized implementation designs. The structural novelty of this research lies in its empirical crystallization of the explicit boundary conditions under which normative faith-based capital successfully disrupts poverty traps, offering an evidence-based operational blueprint for policymakers and Sharia social institutions in the Global South.
