RELATIONSHIP BETWEEN INFORMATION EXPOSURE AND KNOWLEDGE OF HIV/AIDS PREVENTION AMONG ADOLESCENT STUDENTS AT INSTITUT ILMU KESEHATAN PELAMONIA

Iismayanti, Iismayanti, Supardi, Edy, Handayani, Tut, Jinan, Amratul, Sultan, Sultan
Abstract: Adolescents represent a high-risk group for HIV/AIDS infection due to limited knowledge of transmission mechanisms and appropriate prevention strategies. Health information exposure plays a critical role in shaping adequate… ate knowledge as the foundation for preventive behavior. This study aims to determine the level of HIV/AIDS prevention knowledge among adolescent students and to analyze its association with health information exposure. A cross-sectional study was conducted among 189 students at Institut Ilmu Kesehatan Pelamonia in 2026, recruited via random sampling. Data were collected using a structured questionnaire and analyzed using the Chi-square test (α = 0.05). A total of 66% of respondents had sufficient knowledge of HIV/AIDS prevention; however, 48% had never been exposed to related health information. A significant association was found between health information exposure and knowledge level (p = 0.04; OR = 3.4; 95% CI: [complete]). Health information exposure is significantly associated with HIV/AIDS prevention knowledge among adolescent students. Health education institutions should strengthen structured and sustainable HIV/AIDS education programs to prepare students as future health professionals.

Pemberdayaan Kelompok Tani Unggas Jaya Melalui Teknologi Monitoring Gas Amonia Dan Suhu Kandang Otomatis Berbasis IoT

Risald, Risald, Baso, Budiman, Ullu, Hevi Herlina, Lisnahan, Charles Venirius
Abstract: The Poultry Jaya farmer group is in the city of Kefamenanu, the native chicken farming system of the Jaya Poultry Group is still conventional. One of the main problems faced by this group is the lack of monitoring and controlling… ntrolling the temperature of the cage as well as monitoring the ammonia gas produced by chicken droppings. Temperature and ammonia gas levels have a major impact on chicken growth and health. To overcome this problem, it is necessary to implement Internet of Things (IoT) technology integrated with Android applications. This technology allows automatic and periodic monitoring of cage temperature and ammonia gas levels. Farmers can access information via the Android app and take necessary action if significant changes occur. This community service aims to build tools and systems for automatic temperature control and IoT-based ammonia levels integrated with Android, as well as introducing technology and providing training and assistance to the Unggas Jaya farmer group regarding IoT technology in chicken coop management. With the existence of IoT technology, it is hoped that the behavior patterns of farmers will change to become more modern and efficient. This technology can help improve poultry farming performance, reduce risks, and provide convenience in cage management so that it will bring positive changes to the productivity and welfare of farmers. Keywords: Poultry Jaya farmer group; chicken coop; Internet of Things (IoT)

PENGARUH KOMBINASI PAKAN PELET DAN Wolffia arrhiza TERHADAP PERTUMBUHAN DAN EFISIENSI PAKAN IKAN NILA SALIN (Oreochromis niloticus) PENDEDERAN II

Sony Wicaksono, Sutaman, Ninik Umi Hartanti
Abstract: Penelitian ini bertujuan mengevaluasi pengaruh kombinasi pakan pelet komersial dan Wolffia arrhiza terhadap performa pertumbuhan benih ikan nila salin (Oreochromis niloticus) pendederan II.
