Jeticia Lolotoding, Isak Pasulu, Dwibin Kannapadang
Abstract is a brief summary of the paper to help readers quickly determine the main research problem, solutions to solving This study aims to analyze consumer behavior in purchasing decisions of souvenirs at the Ke'te Kesu' Tourism Area in North Toraja Regency. The cultural tourism industry has transformed into an experience-based industry that prioritizes emotional, symbolic, and cultural values. In this context, souvenir purchases serve not only as consumer goods but also as symbols of memories, cultural identity, and representations of tourist experiences. This research employs a qualitative descriptive approach with data collection techniques through in-depth interviews, observation, and documentation involving five tourists as key informants and five MSME actors as supporting informants. Data analysis was conducted through data reduction, data display, and conclusion drawing. The results show that souvenir purchasing decisions at the Ke'te Kesu' Tourism Area are influenced by four main factors: cultural, social, personal, and psychological factors. Cultural and psychological factors are the most dominant because tourists perceive souvenirs as authentic representations of Toraja culture with symbolic meaning. The purchase decision process occurs through five stages: need recognition, information search, alternative evaluation, purchase decision, and post-purchase behavior. Tourists consider price, quality, uniqueness, and cultural value before deciding to purchase a product. Positive tourism experiences influence tourist satisfaction and encourage repeat purchase intentions and recommendations to others. This study concludes that souvenir purchasing decisions at the Ke'te Kesu' Tourism Area are not only influenced by functional needs but also by cultural values, emotional experiences, and tourists' perceptions of the authenticity of Toraja cultural products.

The Effect of Efficiency, Market Ratio, Liquidity and Leverage on Financial Performance: Evidence from Jakarta Islamic Index 70 (JII70)

Zana, Happiness, Santoso, Suryo Budi, Winarni, Dwi, Pratama, Bima Cinintya, Hapsari, Ira
Abstract: Companies listed in the Jakarta Islamic Index 70 (JII70) provide a unique research context because they operate within an Islamic capital market framework that applies sharia screening criteria and financial requirements.… . Despite being guided by the same sharia principles and regulatory environment, JII70 companies still show variations in financial performance. Although previous research has examined the factors that affect financial performance, empirical evidence regarding the influence of efficiency, market ratios, liquidity, and leverage still shows inconsistent results, particularly in companies that comply with sharia principles. Therefore, this study aims to analyze the influence of efficiency, market ratio, liquidity, and leverage on the financial performance of companies listed on JII70 by using Return on Assets (ROA) as a performance indicator. This study uses a quantitative approach by utilizing secondary data obtained from the annual reports of 57 non-financial companies during the period 2021–2025, resulting in 285 company-year observations. Panel data regression analysis was performed using the Fixed Effects model with Driscoll–Kraay error standard to overcome the problems of heteroscedasticity and autocorrelation. The results show that efficiency measured by Total Asset Turnover (TATO) and market ratio measured by Price-to-Book Value (PBV) have a positive and significant effect on financial performance. Meanwhile, liquidity measured by Current Ratio (CR) and leverage measured by Debt-to-Asset Ratio (DAR) have a positive but not statistically significant effect on financial performance. The findings of this study support the Signaling Theory by showing that efficiency and market ratio provide stronger signals regarding company quality and financial performance in the context of the Islamic capital market in Indonesia. These findings provide practical implications for managers in improving company performance as well as for investors in making more informed investment decisions

EDUCATION ON THE PREVENTION OF ACUTE RESPIRATORY INFECTIONS (ARI) FOR PATIENTS AT THE MATERNAL AND CHILD HEALTH (MCH) CLINIC OF ANDALAS COMMUNITY HEALTH CENTER, PADANG CITY

Syofiah, Putri Nelly, Muthia, Gina, Hayati, Masni, Fauziah DY, Ainia Siti, Maharani, Aisha Puti, Nanda, Alya Putri, Silvi, Wella, Zentia, Monica
Abstract: Acute respiratory infection (ARI) is a common health problem among children and may cause serious complications when warning signs are not recognized early. This community service activity aimed to improve the knowledge… of patients attending the Maternal and Child Health (KIA) clinic at Andalas Public Health Center, Padang. The activity was conducted on April 6, 2026, involving 20 participants. Education was delivered through lectures, discussion, question-and-answer sessions, and demonstrations. Knowledge was assessed using a 20-item questionnaire before and after education. The mean score increased from 14.45 at pretest to 16.10 at posttest, with a mean increase of 1.65 points. The Wilcoxon test showed a significant difference between pretest and posttest scores (p=0.009). The activity indicates that structured health education can improve participants’ immediate knowledge of ARI prevention and home care. Continued education integrated with KIA services is recommended.

Syofiah, Putri Nelly, Primasari, Eka Putri, Muthia, Gina, Hayati, Masni, Trisdawati, Tiya
Abstract: Early childhood development is influenced by nutrition, health, caregiving, and opportunities for age-appropriate stimulation (World Health Organization, 2020). This study examined the association between maternal knowledge… dge of early stimulation and developmental screening outcomes and compared developmental outcomes between stunted and non-stunted toddlers. A quantitative analytic study with a cross-sectional design was conducted among 125 mother–toddler pairs in the working area of Balaiselasa Public Health Center, Pesisir Selatan Regency, Indonesia. Maternal knowledge was assessed using a structured questionnaire, developmental status was screened using the Kuesioner Pra Skrining Perkembangan (KPSP), and stunting was determined from length/height-for-age according to age and sex. Data were analyzed using descriptive statistics and Pearson’s Chi-Square test. Moderate maternal knowledge was found in 59 mothers (47.2%). Developmental screening outcomes were appropriate in 68 toddlers (54.4%), questionable in 48 (38.4%), and deviant in 9 (7.2%). Maternal knowledge was associated with developmental screening outcomes (χ²=10.187; df=4; p=0.037; Cramer’s V=0.202). Stunting status was also associated with developmental category (χ²=6.279; df=2; p=0.043). Because some expected cell counts were below five, the chi-square findings should be confirmed using an exact or Monte Carlo test. The findings support integrated maternal education, developmental screening, growth monitoring, and nutritional follow-up in primary health services.

Abstract: This study aims to determine the relationship between cardiorespiratory endurance and the attention and learning focus of Physical Education Study Program students. Cardiorespiratory endurance is a component of physical… fitness that plays an important role in supporting physical activity and cognitive function. The ability of attention and learning focus is an important aspect in the learning process because it affects the understanding of material and student learning outcomes. This research uses a quantitative approach with a correlational design. The research sample consisted of 20 Physical Education Study Program students selected using a purposive sampling technique. Cardiorespiratory endurance was measured using the Multistage Fitness Test (MFT) to obtain an estimated VO₂max, while attention and learning focus were measured using a Likert scale questionnaire. Data analysis was performed using the Pearson Product Moment correlation test. The results showed a positive and significant relationship between cardiorespiratory endurance and student attention and learning focus (r = 0.587; p < 0.05). These findings indicate that students with better levels of cardiorespiratory endurance tend to have higher levels of focus and attention during the learning process.

A MODEL OF CROSS-BORDER UNIVERSITY COLLABORATION IN THE DISTRIBUTION OF HUMANITARIAN AID TO FLOOD VICTIMS IN KETAMBE SUBDISTRICT (SOUTHEAST ACEH)

Assauwab, Muhammad Husaini, Kartono, Kartono, Ramud, Anuar, Sukriadi, Sukriadi, Alsi, Ilham, Apandi, Irfan, Marzuki, Mohd, Harith, Mohd
Abstract: The flood disaster that occurred in Ketambe District, Southeast Aceh Regency, at the end of 2025 caused significant impacts on local communities, including damage to housing, disruption of economic activities, and increased… sed demand for basic necessities. These conditions required a rapid, targeted, and well-coordinated humanitarian response. This community service program aimed to provide clothing and food assistance to flood victims while developing a cross-border university collaboration model for disaster response. The program was implemented through a partnership involving Universitas Gunung Leuser (UGL), Universiti Poly-Tech Malaysia (UPTM), and Insan Cakna. The implementation stages included needs assessment, institutional coordination, aid procurement, aid distribution, and program evaluation. UGL was responsible for needs assessment, local coordination, and aid distribution, while UPTM served as the primary donor providing financial assistance, clothing, and food supplies. Insan Cakna acted as the liaison and coordination facilitator between both institutions. The results demonstrated that the collaboration model improved the effectiveness and accuracy of aid distribution while strengthening institutional synergy in disaster response efforts. Beyond providing direct benefits to affected communities, the program generated a cross-border university collaboration model that can be replicated in future humanitarian and disaster management initiatives. The findings highlight that the success of humanitarian programs depends not only on the availability of aid but also on effective coordination, clear division of responsibilities, and sustainable institutional partnerships.

OPTIMIZING CHILD-FRIENDLY SCHOOLS: MAPPING INNOVATIVE SOLUTIONS BASED ON MULTI-PARTY COLLABORATION

Simanjorang, Elida Florentina Sinaga, Warera, Jeni
Abstract: This study aims to map innovative solutions based on multi-stakeholder collaboration to optimize the implementation of the Child-Friendly Schools (CFS) Policy in Labuhanbatu Regency, which in practice still faces various… obstacles. Through a descriptive qualitative approach with data collection techniques such as literature review, in-depth interviews, observations, and Focus Group Discussions (FGDs) in three elementary schools, this study identifies the root causes of the problems. The main findings reveal that the obstacles to the implementation of the CFS are multidimensional, including a substantial lack of understanding of the CFS among educators and parents, limited financial and human resources, resistance to changes in school culture, and weak coordination and active participation from all stakeholders, including children. The value and contribution of this study lies in the proposition of a systemic solution that fills the gap in existing literacy, which goes beyond problem identification. This study recommends a series of integrated innovative solutions, such as the use of digital platforms for outreach and complaints, continuous capacity building of educators, strengthening child participation through official forums, and most importantly, the establishment of a multi-stakeholder collaboration forum and the integration of the CFS policy into regional planning and budgeting (RPJMD/APBD). Key recommendations emphasize the establishment of a multi-stakeholder collaboration forum involving schools, local governments, communities, and the business world, as well as the establishment of an independent monitoring team to ensure accountability.
