dy employed a qualitative approach using a library research design that focused on conceptual analysis of various academic literature relevant to language assessment. The data were collected through documentation techniques from books, scientific journal articles, and academic publications related to the evaluation of Arabic language learning. The data were then analyzed using content analysis to identify, classify, and synthesize various concepts related to language assessment practices. The findings reveal that assessment in Arabic language learning should be authentic, contextual, and oriented toward communicative competence, while integrating linguistic elements with language skills. In addition, assessment should be conducted based on the principles of validity, reliability, objectivity, practicality, transparency, fairness, and sustainability. The novelty of this study lies in its comprehensive explanation of the assessment dimensions across the four Arabic language skills, along with their indicators and assessment techniques. These findings provide implications for educators in designing Arabic language assessments that are more systematic, communicative, and relevant to language learning objectives.

applications, resilience theory, and integration pathways, a qualitative systematic literature review was carried out utilizing theme synthesis in accordance with PRISMA peer-reviewed protocols. Findings show that AI techniques, machine learning for tail-risk detection, deep learning for high-frequency forecasting, and explainable AI for transparent decisions, yield up to 28% reductions in forecasting errors and halve recovery times during crises. The hybrid CNN Transformer architectures and transformer-based NLP models significantly enhance predictive accuracy and forward-looking insights. The study suggests financial institutions adopt integrated AI frameworks, invest in data quality and human–AI collaboration, and implement principle-based governance to balance innovation with fairness and stability. Limitations include reliance on published literature and limited representation of emerging AI models, warranting future longitudinal and context-specific empirical research.
Abstract:The delivery of the first harvest by the people of Kolimasang Village to the King of Sagu in Adonara represents a symbol of agrarian relations rich in cultural and spiritual meaning. In Lamaholot tradition, the king is not…
ot only a political–traditional leader but is also regarded as a representation of cosmic power that must be respected. In this perspective, the delivery of the first harvest becomes a kind of “rite of passage” from the profane world (the field) to the sacred world (the palace). Within Lamaholot tradition, this relationship is known as the 4A: Atadiken (Human), God, Nature, and Ancestral Spirits.
The findings show that the procession of delivering the first harvest has been practiced for generations since the establishment of the Adonara Kingdom. The procession is carried out for two consecutive days, Tuesday and Wednesday, during the harvest week and month, usually March or April. On Tuesday, the ritual takes place in the fields during the first harvest, the yields of which are taken to the King of Adonara in Sagu. On Wednesday, the procession takes place in Lewo Sagu Atu Matang – Tanah Kota Dolu Wewang (the palace of the Adonara king), the site of the migration of King Arkian Kamba (the first Islamic King of Adonara). Both processions are preceded by traditional ritual prayers (Bao Lolon) addressed to God, Nature, and the Ancestral Spirits (3A). The equipment involved in the procession includes the harvest yield, tuak (palm wine) in bamboo containers, coconut-shell cups, gongs and drums, spears, machetes, and traditional clothing. In the procession, the king and his kin receive the harvest in a ceremonial welcome marked by traditional rituals, during which the king wears royal attire: the lipa sarong, a jacket, and a cap. The harvested produce is not only given to members of the royal family for consumption but also distributed to the wider community (ribu ratu). A tradition that remains preserved to this day—and considered the most essential—is the distribution of the first harvest by the king and his family to widows, the poor, orphans, and abandoned children. This symbolizes love, fairness, and equitable sharing—values that continue to be upheld today.
Abstract:Mediation is an alternative method of dispute resolution that is increasingly being used in the modern legal system. This process prioritizes dialogue between the disputing parties to reach an agreement without resorting…
to litigation. In mediation, ethics plays an important role in maintaining fairness, confidentiality and professionalism, both by the mediator and by the advocates involved. Advocates have a strategic role in mediation, namely as legal advisors who provide direction to their clients, and ensure that the mediation process runs in accordance with existing ethical principles. Advocates also function to maintain the integrity and confidentiality of information obtained during mediation, as well as ensuring that clients are not pressured into accepting detrimental agreements. In this paper, we discuss the importance of ethics in mediation, the challenges faced, and the vital role of advocates in ensuring fair and effective dispute resolution. By paying attention to ethics in mediation, it is hoped that the dispute resolution process can take place more transparently, efficiently and fairly for all parties involved.
Abstract:This study examines the enforcement of criminal law in relation to the offense of aggravated theft as adjudicated in the District Court Decision of Amlapura No. 60/PID.B/2024/PN Amlapura, wherein the Defendant, Jana alias…
s Tobi, was found legally and convincingly guilty of committing aggravated theft as stipulated under Article 363 paragraph (1) point 4 of the Indonesian Penal Code (KUHP). The objective of this research is to analyze the application of criminal law in the aforementioned case, with a particular focus on two principal legal issues: (1) how law enforcement was implemented in the case in question, and (2) how the judicial decision aligns with the foundational legal principles of justice, legal certainty, and utility. The research employs a normative juridical method with a descriptive-analytical approach, and utilizes both the theory of law enforcement and the theory of criminal acts as the conceptual framework. The findings indicate that all elements of the criminal offense under Article 363 paragraph (1) point 4 of the Penal Code were fulfilled, and that the panel of judges duly considered both aggravating and mitigating factors in a balanced manner. Nonetheless, further analysis reveals that the Defendant’s role in the commission of the offense was more auxiliary in nature, thereby suggesting that the normative application of Article 55 of the Penal Code would have been more appropriate. This misapplication of legal provisions potentially gives rise to substantive injustice and opens the possibility for further legal remedies. The study concludes that although the formal procedures of law enforcement were conducted in accordance with prevailing legal standards, there exists a substantive deficiency in the identification of the perpetrator’s role, which adversely affects the overall fairness of the verdict. The novelty of this research lies in its critical analysis of the accuracy of judicial application of substantive criminal norms and the imperative of rigorous judicial reasoning in sentencing, aimed at reinforcing the integrity and consistency of the Indonesian criminal justice system.

ecognition for the efforts they have put into the work they perform. This study focuses on the regulation of rewards for inmates working in correctional facilities, as well as an evaluation of the fairness aspect in their distribution. The study adopts a normative legal analysis approach, utilizing primary legal sources such as laws and government regulations, as well as additional references discussing inmates’ rights in correctional institutions, particularly those related to the payment system for the work they perform. The study finds that the regulations governing inmates’ rights, including those related to wage distribution, are outlined in Article 14 of Law No. 12 of 1995, Government Regulation No. 32 of 1999, and the Minister of Justice Decree No. M.01-PP.02.01 of 1990. From the researcher’s perspective, the distribution of rewards aligns with the principle of fairness because, in addition to receiving rewards, inmates also receive valuable skill training for their future after leaving the correctional institution.

Abstract:Abstract: The selection process for students of the National Student Sports Olympiad (O2SN) in the field of Pencak Silat at SMA Negeri 1 Air Joman is often faced with various challenges that affect objectivity and fairness…
ss in decision making. Assessments carried out directly by coaches tend to be non-objective, so that students who are sent to participate in the National Student Sports Olympiad (O2SN) are not alternately. Inaccuracy in selecting eligible students not only harms potential students, but can also reduce the school's chances of achieving success in the O2SN event. Therefore, a Decision Support System (DSS) is needed that can help improve objectivity, accuracy, and efficiency in the selection process, so that it can produce more precise and fair decisions. The decision support system used is the MOORA method. This system is designed to assist schools in determining students who are eligible to represent the school in the O2SN competition based on several criteria such as age, weight, strength, technique (moves) and student attendance. These criteria are analyzed and weighted according to their level of importance. Furthermore, the MOORA method is applied to calculate and rank students. The results of this study indicate that the students selected to participate in O2SN Pencak Silat are Joko Satrio and Wisnu Ramadan with optimization values of 0.339 and 0.281.

time. This study develops a Decision Support System (DSS) that integrates the Analytical Hierarchy Process (AHP) and the Technique for Order Preference by Similarity to Ideal Solution (TOPSIS) to support objective and transparent student selection. A quantitative descriptive approach was employed, with data collected through questionnaires, interviews, and documentation at two state junior high schools in Banjarmasin City. Seven assessment criteria were applied: attendance, behavior, uniform neatness, extracurricular participation, academic grades, competition achievements, and disciplinary records. AHP was used to determine the weight of each criterion, while TOPSIS ranked students based on these weights. The web-based system was developed using PHP and MySQL and evaluated using the Technology Acceptance Model (TAM). Results show that academic grades had the highest weight (28.5%), followed by attendance (22.3%) and competition performance (15.2%). The TAM evaluation yielded average scores of 4.32 for Perceived Ease of Use, 4.40 for Perceived Usefulness, 4.15 for Attitudes Towards Use, and 4.28 for Behavioral Intention to Use. The DSS produces accurate rankings, is well-received by users, and offers an efficient, fair, and replicable solution for data-driven educational governance in the digital era.
