Cost Structure, Land Productivity, and Price Efficiency IN Shallot Farmers’ Income in Brebes

Abstract: This study explored how cost structure, land productivity, and price efficiency shape the income of micro scale shallot farmers in Brebes Regency based on farmers' reported financial experiences and informants' financial… narratives. Using an exploratory qualitative approach, data were collected from five shallot farmers, one agricultural extension officer, and one farmer group leader through semi-structured interviews, non-participant observation, and documentation. The data were analyzed through thematic analysis supported by source and technique triangulation. The findings show that reported income is highly vulnerable to variable production costs, particularly labor, seed, and pesticides. Land productivity is closely related to land ownership status and farming scale, while price efficiency is constrained by farmers' weak bargaining position and dependence on intermediaries. Farmers apply adaptive strategies such as delaying sales, drying harvested shallots, and converting part of the harvest into seed stock. However, these strategies are limited by liquidity needs, storage capacity, product quality, and market uncertainty. The study concludes that improving farmers' income stability requires integrated cost control, asset productivity, price information access, post-harvest support, and stronger farmer institutions.

DIVERSITY AND DOMINANCE OF MANGROVES IN THE WATERS OF AERANO AMAHAI BEACH, AMAHAI DISTRICT, CENTRAL MALUKU REGENCY VAREITY AND DOMINATE IN AMAHAI AERONO BEACH

Abstract: Experiment purpose is to know the kinds, variety and dominance in Amahai Aerono Beach. This experiment was held in February 2017 using cuadran transect with plot size 10 x 10 for tree kind, 5 x 5 for stake kind and 2 x 2… for seedling. Sample identify process in Center Laboratory of DEEP Sea Experiment (LIPI Ambon). Species variety is a community characteristic based on biological organization, while dominance is the parameter proving the species dominates in a community. In experiments found 7 kinds of mangroves, Rhizophora apiculata, Ceriops tagal, Bruguiera gymnorrhiza, Sonneratia alba, Aegiceras corniculatum, Bruguiera parviflora, and Avicennia officinalis. Included in lowly dominate and have medium characteristics.

EFFECTIVENESS OF SOURSOP (ANNONA MURICATA) LEAF EXTRACT AS A BOTANICAL PESTICIDE AGAINST ARMYWORM (SPODOPTERA LITURA) ON MUSTARD GREENS (BRASSICA JUNCEA)

Abstract: The intensive use of synthetic chemical pesticides in agriculture has led to various negative impacts on the environment and human health, as well as increased pest resistance. As an alternative, plant-based pesticides (botanical… botanical insecticides) have shown potential due to their eco-friendly and sustainable nature. This study aims to review the effectiveness of soursop (Annona muricata) leaf extract as a botanical pesticide against the gray caterpillar (Spodoptera litura) on mustard plants (Brassica juncea), using a literature review method. Data were collected through a systematic search of accredited national and international scientific journals, then analyzed descriptively and comparatively. The findings indicate that soursop leaves contain bioactive compounds such as acetogenins, flavonoids, and saponins, which act as stomach poisons, antifeedants, and repellents to S. litura. Several studies reported that extracts from Annona spp. leaves and seeds effectively inhibit larval growth, reduce feeding activity, damage digestive tissues, and lead to larval death. This effectiveness highlights the potential of soursop leaves as a safe and efficient candidate for botanical pesticide development. The study also identifies a research gap regarding field-scale testing on mustard plants, suggesting the need for further agronomic validation.  

HEALING DURATION OF SUPERFICIAL WOUNDS AFTER SUNNAH CUPPING THERAPY: A LITERATURE REVIEW

Abstract: Sunnah cupping therapy is widely recognized as a traditional treatment believed to eliminate stagnant blood, enhance circulation, and accelerate healing. However, concerns remain regarding wound depth and skin recovery duration,… uration, especially in clinical settings. This study aims to systematically review scientific literature on the healing duration of superficial wounds resulting from cupping, factors influencing recovery, and the effectiveness of herbal topical treatments in supporting natural skin regeneration. A systematic literature review was conducted using publications from 2015 to 2025 sourced from PubMed, Scopus, ScienceDirect, and Google Scholar. The analysis focused on non-surgical superficial wounds, post-cupping wound management, and the use of olive oil, black seed oil, and coconut oil in complementary traditional therapy. Findings indicate that cupping incisions typically reach only the epidermis and upper dermis, with a depth of 0.5–1 mm. These minor wounds generally heal within 3 to 7 days, depending on patient age, skin condition, anatomical location, and aftercare quality. The application of topical herbal agents has been shown to enhance healing through anti-inflammatory, antioxidant, and regenerative mechanisms. In conclusion, Sunnah cupping can be classified as a safe and non-invasive therapy with a relatively short healing duration. Herbal-based wound care offers a natural, accessible, and effective treatment alternative, supporting the integration of cupping therapy into modern evidence-based complementary medicine. Further development of standardized post-cupping care protocols is recommended to optimize clinical implementation and ensure consistent patient outcomes.

Peran Inovasi dalam Value Chain di Industri Kelapa Sawit : Studi Kasus di Kabupaten Merauke

Abstract: The palm oil industry plays a strategic role in Indonesia's economy, including in Merauke Regency, which is one of the developing palm oil plantation areas in Papua. However, challenges in production efficiency, environmental… ental sustainability, and competitiveness remain obstacles in the industry's value chain. Innovation in various aspects of the value chain, such as productivity improvement through agricultural technology, processing efficiency, and product diversification based on palm oil, is a key factor in enhancing the industry's competitiveness. This study aims to analyze the role of innovation in the palm oil industry value chain in Merauke Regency by identifying the types of innovations applied and the factors that support or hinder their adoption. The research employs a qualitative approach, using data collection techniques such as in-depth interviews, observations, and document studies. The findings indicate that upstream sector innovations, such as the use of superior seedlings and digital plantation management, have improved productivity and efficiency. Meanwhile, downstream innovations in palm oil processing and value-added product diversification still face challenges, particularly in infrastructure and regulatory aspects. The study's implications suggest that optimizing innovation in the palm oil value chain requires more adaptive policies, increased investment in research and development, and capacity building for human resources. Thus, innovation can serve as a driving force in creating a more competitive, sustainable palm oil industry that contributes to local economic development in Merauke Regency.

Pembuatan dan Pelatihan Pemberdayaan Website Dana Kampung

Abstract: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan transparansi dan akuntabilitas pengelolaan dana kampung melalui pembuatan website dan pelatihan pemberdayaan bagi aparatur Kampung Seed Agung, Distrik Muting, Kabupaten Merauke.… . Metode pelaksanaan menggunakan pendekatan partisipatif yang terdiri dari tiga tahap utama: (1) analisis kebutuhan melalui studi pendahuluan, observasi, wawancara, dan focus group discussion; (2) implementasi yang mencakup pembuatan website berbasis Content Management System (CMS) WordPress dan pelatihan pemberdayaan dengan metode hands-on practice; serta (3) evaluasi dan pendampingan berkelanjutan untuk memastikan keberlanjutan program. Hasil pelaksanaan program menunjukkan bahwa implementasi website telah berhasil meningkatkan akses informasi dan partisipasi masyarakat dalam pengawasan dana kampung. Pelatihan pemberdayaan menunjukkan peningkatan signifikan kemampuan pengelolaan website, peserta mampu mengoperasikan website secara mandiri setelah pelatihan dibandingkan sebelumnya. Meski menghadapi tantangan keterbatasan infrastruktur internet di beberapa wilayah, program ini telah berhasil membangun fondasi untuk tata kelola dana kampung yang lebih transparan dan akuntabel melalui kombinasi solusi teknologi dan pengembangan kapasitas sumber daya manusia lokal. Keberlanjutan program diperkuat melalui kolaborasi dengan pemerintah dan strategi regenerasi pengelola website dengan melibatkan karang taruna sebagai kader masa depan.

Pemaanfaatan Batang Pisang Sebagai Pakan Alternatif Untuk Ternak

Abstract: Program kerja KKN ini bertujuan untuk mengimplementasikan pemanfaatan batang pisang sebagai pakan alternatif ternak di Kampung Seed Agung, Distrik Muting. Permasalahan keterbatasan pakan dan melimpahnya limbah batang pisang… ang menjadi latar belakang pelaksanaan program ini. Metode yang digunakan adalah participatory rural appraisal (PRA) dengan melibatkan 5 peternak sebagai peserta. Tahapan pelaksanaan meliputi survei pendahuluan, koordinasi dengan tokoh masyarakat, diskusi intensif, demonstrasi, dan pendampingan selama satu minggu. Materi yang disampaikan mencakup kandungan nutrisi batang pisang, teknik pengolahan, dan metode pemberian pakan. Hasil evaluasi menunjukkan peningkatan pengetahuan peserta dari rata-rata nilai 45,6 menjadi 82,3. Implementasi program berhasil menurunkan biaya pakan sebesar 35% dengan penghematan sekitar Rp 450.000 per peternak per bulan. Pengamatan terhadap ternak menunjukkan tingkat konsumsi pakan yang signifikan, tidak adanya efek negatif terhadap kesehatan, dan peningkatan bobot badan yang stabil. Program ini memberikan manfaat ganda, yaitu mengatasi permasalahan pakan ternak sekaligus mengurangi limbah pertanian, sehingga berkontribusi positif terhadap lingkungan. 

Pelatihan Sistem Informasi Manajemen Kependudukan

Abstract: Administrasi kependudukan yang efisien dan akurat merupakan elemen penting dalam tata kelola pemerintahan desa. Namun, Kampung Seed Agung, Distrik Muting, Kabupaten Merauke masih menghadapi kendala dalam pengelolaan data… kependudukan yang dilakukan secara manual, sehingga rawan kesalahan dan keterlambatan. Oleh karena itu, penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengimplementasikan Sistem Informasi Manajemen Kependudukan (SIMK) berbasis web guna meningkatkan efisiensi administrasi kependudukan. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini meliputi identifikasi kebutuhan, pengembangan aplikasi SIMK berbasis web, serta pelatihan bagi aparat kampung dalam mengoperasikan sistem tersebut. Keberhasilan program ini diukur berdasarkan perubahan cara kerja dari pencatatan manual menjadi digital, peningkatan keterampilan aparat kampung, serta kemudahan akses dan pengelolaan data kependudukan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pelatihan SIMK berhasil meningkatkan kemampuan aparat kampung dalam mengelola data secara digital. Para peserta mampu menginput, memperbarui, dan mengakses data kependudukan dengan lebih cepat dan akurat. Namun, terdapat beberapa tantangan yang dihadapi, seperti keterbatasan infrastruktur internet dan masih perlunya pendampingan dalam penggunaan perangkat keras dan lunak. Oleh karena itu, dukungan berkelanjutan dalam bentuk peningkatan infrastruktur dan pelatihan lanjutan sangat diperlukan agar implementasi SIMK dapat berjalan optimal dan berkelanjutan.

Teh Kulit Rambutan: Solusi Inovatif untuk Pengelolaan Limbah dan Peningkatan Ekonomi Masyarakat Kampung Seed Agung

Abstract: Kulit rambutan yang sering dipandang sebagai limbah, ternyata menyimpan potensi manfaat kesehatan. Kegiatan ini bertujuan untuk mengubah limbah kulit rambutan menjadi produk teh. Kegiatan ini dilaksanakan di Kampung Seed… Agung, Distrik Muting, Kabupaten Merauke, dengan pendekatan Learning by Doing. Tim Kuliah Kerja Nyata (KKN) Universitas Musamus berpartisipasi dalam proses praktis pengolahan kulit rambutan menjadi teh menggunakan alat dan bahan yang tersedia, yang memungkinkan efisiensi dalam pelaksanaan kegiatan. Hasil dari kegiatan ini diharapkan tidak hanya menghadirkan inovasi, tetapi juga meningkatkan pengetahuan masyarakat tentang pemanfaatan limbah kulit rambutan. Ke depan, diharapkan masyarakat dapat mengelola limbah kulit rambutan menjadi peluang usaha ekonomi kreatif yang mengedepankan inovasi dan kemampuan dalam mengubah limbah menjadi produk teh yang bernilai, serta berkontribusi dalam pengurangan limbah, khususnya kulit rambutan.

Bersama faces challenges such as manual promotion, error-prone transaction recording, and limited customer reach. Product sales are unstable each month. To address these issues, a web-based sales system was designed at https://udbersamatani.online/, enabling online purchases, discounts, live chat, and free shipping services. The implementation results show that this system facilitates data processing and report generation for the admin. Consumers can quickly order products, interact via live chat, and obtain real-time product information. The application of CRM at UD. Together has proven effective in managing and analyzing data, meeting customer needs, and increasing sales. This system improves service and eases transactions for customers, potentially enhancing customer loyalty and satisfaction.
