Nani Sri Rezeki, Harapan Simanjuntak
Abstract: This research aims to determine the role of PAK teachers in shaping the character of class XI students at Medan Adventist Private High School in the 2022/2023 academic year. This type of research is descriptive correlational.… onal. The population in this study is the entire class XI of Medan Adventist Private High School as many as 30 people because the population is small, namely only 30 people, the entire population becomes the research sample, namely 30 people with sampling techniques. The data collection instrument for variable X is a questionnaire consisting of 20 items. With 4 options that were first tested to determine the validity and reliability while the instrument for variable Y Documentation is in the form of a list of student grades (DKN) at the school. The results of the analysis requirements for the normality test of the Role of PAK Teachers' data are distributed normally with the calculation results obtained as X2 count . < X 2 table (22.33 < 43.77) and the PAK learning outcomes are normally distributed with the calculation results obtained being X 2 count < X 2 table (18.85 < 43.77). The results of the linearity test of the data on the Role of PAK Teachers in Character Formation are linear with the equation Y = 22.77 + 1.22x, which is linear. The results of the correlation test obtained r count of 0.453 consulted with the critical price r at a significance level of 5% with the number of respondents being 30 people, the r table was obtained of 0.361, because the calculated r > r table (0.453 > 0.361) this shows that there is an influence of the Role of PAK Teachers in Character Formation of Class XI students of Medan Adventist Private High School in the 2022/2023 academic year. Furthermore, to test the significance of the correlation, a statistical test formula (t-test) was used, obtaining a calculated t of 3.41. This price was then consulted with the t table at a 95% significance level of 1.69, because the calculated t > bold t (3.41.169 α=0.05 with dk = n-2 (30-2=28) the t table is 1.69 because the calculated t > t table (3.41>1.69) this shows that there is a significant influence of the Role of PAK Teachers in the Formation of Character of Class XI Students of Medan Adventist Private High School in the 2022/2023 Academic Year. Thus, the research hypothesis is accepted as true.

Academic versus Vocational Orientation: A Comparison of Guidance and Counseling Program Management in Senior High Schools and Vocational High Schools (Literature Study)

Resty Tri Mahanani
Abstract: Rooted in the differences in educational orientation between senior high schools (academic) and vocational high schools (vocational), there is a need for different approaches to guidance and counseling (BK) management. A… systematic literature review was conducted to analyze the differences in the implementation of BK management in senior high schools and vocational high schools and to formulate a more responsive management model. The results of the study show that even though the same management framework (planning, organizing, acting, controlling) is used, the implementation of BK management at both levels of education is still not fully adaptive to the characteristics of each orientation. The most significant gap lies in the functions of evaluation and accountability. At the high school level, although the evaluation process is often simple and focuses on administrative output, this practice is still considered to be in line with its academic orientation. However, at the vocational school level, the evaluation function is not only technically weak but also irrelevant to the vocational orientation. This condition shows that BK management in Indonesia needs to be strengthened so that it is truly adaptive to the academic needs of high school students and the vocational needs of vocational school students.

Leni Laelawati, Rita Rahmawati, Muhammad Husein Maruapey
Abstract: Public health organizations are required to maintain service quality through strong organizational culture and employee discipline. However, empirical studies that specifically examine both variables in local public health… th institutions remain limited. This study aims to analyze the effect of organizational culture and employee discipline on employee performance at Puskesmas Curug Bitung, Bogor Regency. The study used a quantitative associative approach with a survey design. The population consisted of 32 employees, and 25 respondents were selected as the sample using the Slovin formula. Data were collected through questionnaires, observations, and structured interviews, then analyzed using validity and reliability tests, Pearson Product Moment correlation, coefficient of determination, and partial t-test. The results show that organizational culture has a positive and significant effect on employee performance, with a correlation coefficient of 0.777, R square of 0.630, and t-value of 5.910. Employee discipline also has a positive and significant effect on employee performance, with a correlation coefficient of 0.808, R square of 0.653, and t-value of 6.583. The novelty of this study lies in its direct testing of organizational culture and discipline without mediating variables in a district-level public health service institution. Strengthening service-oriented culture and consistent discipline is therefore essential to improve employee performance.

Wirawan
Abstract: This study seeks to examine the impact of kinship-based recruiting practices (nepotism) on the reduction in educational staff performance at Bosowa University, with an emphasis on mass recruitment in 2025, which is expected… ted to include features of nepotism. An explanatory survey design is combined with a quantitative approach in the study methodology. The 107 educational staff members of Bosowa University in 2026 make up the study population, and a complete sampling technique is used. Questionnaires, interviews, observations, and personnel data recording were used to gather data. Descriptive statistics, basic linear regression, and various tests were employed in data analysis. Kinship-based recruitment procedures fall into the top category, according to the study's results (score 4.17). An estimated 52% of the 42 educational employees hired between 2023 and 2025 did so through non-competitive means that included nepotism. The performance of education staff hired prior to 2023 (score 3.70) and those hired between 2023 and 2025 (score 2.31) differs significantly, by 37.6%. 48.3% of the reduction in performance is positively and significantly impacted by family-based recruitment techniques. For education staff hired through non-merit methods, this report suggests implementing a meritocracy system, thorough HR audits, and competency improvement initiatives.

Abstract: This study examines the effectiveness of an ADDIE-based negotiation training program implemented for university students from multiple institutions. Using a quantitative one-group pre-test–post-test design, the study evaluates… valuates whether the structured application of the ADDIE instructional design model leads to measurable improvements in negotiation skills. Data were collected through pre-training and post-training surveys and analyzed using a paired-samples t-test. The results indicate a statistically significant increase in participants’ post-test scores compared to pre-test scores, confirming the effectiveness of the training intervention. The findings further demonstrate that the systematic alignment of needs analysis, instructional design, material development, interactive implementation, and quantitative evaluation contributed to positive learning outcomes. This study contributes to the literature on instructional design and talent development by providing empirical evidence that ADDIE-based training can effectively enhance negotiation skills in higher education contexts.

THE RELATIONSHIP BETWEEN THE PROMOTION MIX AND THE COMPANY'S BRAND IDENTITY WITH CUSTOMER SATISFACTION AT PT. INO WANGSA BINJAI

Budi, Ivan Benedict Tambunan
Abstract: This study aims to deepen the understanding of the contribution of promotion and branding to increasing customer satisfaction at PT. Ino Wangsa Binjai. The study used primary data with a population of 300 buyers, and 75… respondents were selected as samples through calculations using the Slovin formula. The analysis techniques applied were quantitative, including validity tests, reliability, classical assumptions, simple linear regression, and hypothesis testing through t-tests and coefficients of determination (R²). Based on the analysis results, the promotional mix variable (E_Prmsi) obtained a t-count value of -1.824 with a significance level of 0.072 (> 0.05), while the t-table was 1.99346. Because the t-count is smaller than the t-table, it can be concluded that the promotional mix does not have a significant effect on customer satisfaction. In addition, a negative t-value indicates that the direction of the relationship between the promotional mix and customer satisfaction is not in line. Conversely, the partial test shows that the company's brand variable has a significant effect on customer satisfaction with a significance value of 0.00 (< 0.05). Therefore, the first hypothesis (H1) is declared accepted. From the results of the determination coefficient test, the R Square value is 0.495, which indicates that 49.5% of changes in customer satisfaction can be explained by the company's promotional mix and brand factors, while the remaining 50.5% is influenced by other variables not examined in this study. As a recommendation, the management of PT. Ino Wangsa Binjai, especially the branch manager, is advised to implement a more cost-effective, efficient, and targeted promotional strategy, as well as utilizing social media such as Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, and print media such as newspapers to convey promotional information more effectively.

THE IMPACT OF STRESS AND WORK MOTIVATION ON THE PERFORMANCE OF EMPLOYEES IN THE SIANTAR CITY MANPOWER DEPARTMENT

Binur Pretty Napitupulu, Haervi Yunira
Abstract: Work stress and motivation are two factors that can influence the increase or decrease in employee performance. This study aims to determine and analyze the effect of work stress and work motivation on employee performance… ce at the Siantar City Manpower Office. The focus of the study is limited to two independent variables, namely work stress and work motivation, and one dependent variable, namely employee performance. The formulation of the problem raised is whether work stress and work motivation affect employee performance. The population in this study amounted to 58 people who were also used as samples. The approach used is quantitative, with data collection through questionnaires and using secondary data. The data analysis technique used is multiple linear regression, with hypothesis testing through the t-test (partial), F-test (simultaneous), and the Coefficient of Determination (R²). The results of the study show a regression model Y = 0.550 + 0.447X₁ + 0.398X₂, where X₁ is work stress and X₂ is work motivation. Partially, work stress has a significant effect on employee performance with a significance value of 0.001 (<0.05) and a t-count of 3.543 (> t-table 1.673). Work motivation also shows a partial significant effect with a significance value of 0.002 (<0.05) and a t-count of 3.225 (> t-table 1.673). Simultaneously, both variables have a significant effect on employee performance, with a significance value of 0.000 (<0.05) and an F-count of 34.156 (> F-table 3.17). The coefficient of determination (R²) of 0.554 indicates that 55.4% of the variation in employee performance is influenced by work stress and work motivation, while the remaining 44.6% is influenced by other factors outside this study. Thus, the relationship between work stress, work motivation, and employee performance is quite strong but not dominant.
