4C SKILLS OF THE 21ST CENTURY: THEIR NATURE AND IMPORTANCE IN PRIMARY SCHOOL LEARNING

Abstract: 21st century skills absolutely must be taught at all levels of education, especially elementary schools, because students have experienced very fast changing times. Elementary school students are automatically involved in… n becoming part of 21st century society. Therefore, 21st century 4C skills, namely Critical Thinking and Problem Solving, Communication, Collaboration, and Creativity and innovation should be taught at all levels of elementary school classes according to the development and needs of students . The aim of the study is to describe the nature of 21st century skills and the importance of their application in elementary schools. The research method used is literature study. The data sources in this study were examined from various reading sources such as books and journal articles. This method is carried out so that this journal article can provide relevant and reliable information based on data sources and provide a clear picture of 21st Century 4C skills in elementary schools. The results of this study indicate that teaching 21st century skills is a necessity for every school to form skilled students in 21st century society. The learning objectives are so that students are familiar with good communication, cooperate in a compact manner, are critical of problems and are able to solve them, and are critical and innovative in their work produce new goods.

KEMAMPUAN REPRESENTASI DALAM MEMECAHKAN MASALAH MATEMATIKA BERDASARKAN GAYA BELAJAR

Abstract: Solving problems requires the ability to recall the information needed and represented both visually and verbally. This information is obtained, managed and recalled through a system called learning style. This research… was conducted at Asy-Syifa Al-Inayah Middle School, Jambi City, with the aim of obtaining a description of student representation in solving mathematical problems. Subjects in this study were selected using purposive sampling based on visual, auditory and kinesthetic learning styles. It is hoped that this research will provide benefits in improving mathematics learning. The results of the research show that the representation of auditory students and visual students in solving mathematical problems each fulfills three indicators, while kinesthetic students only fulfill two indicators of mathematical representation. In presenting information, visual and auditory subjects each tend to present it in the form of images (geometry or number patterns) and create situations based on the problem given. Meanwhile, kinesthetic subjects tend to only create images to clarify problems and facilitate their resolution. In solving problems, both visual and auditory subjects are able to solve problems by making patterns based on the problem given and making conclusions from a pattern. It's just that auditory subjects can shorten problem solving steps by using mathematical expressions. Meanwhile, kinesthetic subjects experience problems in solving combinatorics problems, where they are unable to present images or patterns that can help solve the problem.

From some information gathered from people queuing, services using a manual queuing system are less effective and efficient. So, to meet the needs of good community service, District Office Agencies need to innovate a DIGITAL queuing system. Innovation is a shift from traditional management principles, processes and practices or a shift from old organizational forms to modern management. Government services to the community, known as public services, are a very strategic issue because of the interaction between the government and the community. This research uses a qualitative descriptive approach to determine public service innovation. The data used are primary data and secondary data. Data collection techniques were carried out using observation, interviews and documentation. The research results show that public service innovation with a digital queuing system is a conceptual innovation which gives rise to new paradigms, ideas, thinking and breakthroughs. Meanwhile, delivery innovation includes new ways or ways of solving problems, providing services or interacting with clients for the purpose of providing special services to customers.  

IMPLEMENTASI E-GOVERNMENT DALAM PEMANFAATAN APLIKASI MOBILE PASPOR (M-PASPOR) PADA KANTOR IMIGRASI KELAS II TPI TANJUNG UBAN

Abstract: M-Paspor aims to make passport services more transparent, accountable and fast. However, in the process of its application as a public servant, the socialization provided has not been able to fully reach the community. So… o people have to come repeatedly to just ask questions related to the use of the application. This study aims to describe the implementation of e-government in the use of m-paspor applications at the Immigration Office Class II TPI Tanjung Uban. The research method used is a qualitative method with a descriptive approach. The theory used from Harvard JFK School of Government, with several indicators including Support, Capacity and Value. The results showed that the implementation of e-government in the use of m-paspor applications has run in accordance with the objectives but has not been optimal in one of the indicators. In the Support indicator, support in the form of SOP’s and m-paspor policies, direct socialization and through social media as well as supporting infrastructure at the Immigration Office Class II TPI Tanjung Uban is quite good. In the Capacity indicator, the availability of financial resources is intended for socialization needs, the information technology infrastructure in the  service process looks adequate to facilitate the community, but in the process of implementing the application there are still several obstacles, including frequent  application errors, payment codes do not come out, limited quotas and so on, as well as the availability of human resources derived from receiving CPNS selection analysis S1 immigration and has been provided with periodic training by the Directorate General of Immigration. The Value indicator is considered good, because both officers and the public have been able to feel the convenience with the m-paspor application.

KLASIFIKASI DATA MINING KELULUSAN MAHASISWA (STIMIKOM) STELLA MARIS SUMBA MENGGUNAKAN ALGORITMANAIVE BAYES

Abstract: Dalam data mining, penelitian mengenai klasifikasi kelulusan mahasiswa sudah pernah dilakukan oleh peneliti lain. Sebagian besar penelitian tersebut difokuskan pada identifikasi variabel prediktor. Ada banyak penelitian… dalam literatur terdahulu yang menjelaskan faktor-faktor apa saja yang dapat mensukseskan proses pengklasifikasian kelulusan mahasiswa. Pemilihan penggunaan algoritma Naive Bayes, dan  pada penelitian ini didasarkan pada beberapa alasan, yaitu: Selain ketiga algoritma tersebut sama-sama mudah diimplementasikan dan sama-sama dapat memberikan hasil yang baik dalam kasus klasifikasi, ketiga algoritma tersebut juga mempunyai beberapa keunggulan masing-masing. Implementasi data training sebanyak 51 data dengan algoritma Naive Bayes berhasil memprediksi besarnya kelulusan mahasiswa dengan persentase  keakuratan sebesar 74,67%, Sebanyak 184 mahasiswa sebagai data uji yang dihasilkan penelitian ini bahwa mahasiswa yang akan lulus tepat waktu sebanyak 42 mahasiswa atau sekitar 22,8% dari jumlah data testing dengan keakuratan sebesar 74,67%, Bagi Prang Studi Teknik Informatika berdasarkan hasil penelitian ini diharapkan dapat dimanfaatkan oleh pihak jurusan sebagai bahan pertimbangan bahwa dari jumlah data testing sebanyak 184 mahasiswa yang diperdiksi lulus tepat waktu sekitar 22,8% dan jumlah tidak tepat waktu 77,2%.

Analisis Visual Pengaruh Noise Terhadap Kualitas Sinyal Analog dan Digital Menggunakan Software Audio

Abstract: Signal interference or noise is one of the main problems in data transmission that can reduce information quality in both analog and digital systems. This study aims to visually analyze the effects of noise using audio software.… oftware. The method used is simulation-based, where a pure signal is used as an initial reference before being subjected to various levels of interference. The analysis results show that in analog signals, noise causes permanent waveform distortion that is difficult to recover. In contrast, digital signals tend to maintain data integrity as long as the interference does not exceed a certain threshold. These differences in signal characteristics can be visually observed through waveform displays in the software. The results indicate that digital systems have advantages in maintaining signal quality in noisy environments and have the potential to be used as educational media for basic telecommunication and signal processing studies.

Implementasi Sistem Informasi Alumni dan Jenjang Karir Berbasis Web Pada SMK Negeri 1 Kisaran

Abstract: Alumni data management is an important aspect for educational institutions, especially vocational high schools that focus on graduates’ readiness for the workforce. SMK Negeri 1 Kisaran still faces problems in managing alumni… alumni data and tracking career paths due to manual and unintegrated processes. This study aims to implement a web-based alumni and career tracking information system to improve the effectiveness of alumni data management, facilitate communication between the school and alumni, and support graduate career tracking. The research methods used include observation and interviews with school staff and alumni. The system was developed using PHP programming language and MySQL database, with system design based on Unified Modeling Language (UML). The results show that the developed system is able to manage alumni data centrally, provide career path information, and generate accurate and accessible alumni reports. Therefore, this system can serve as an effective solution to improve alumni information services at SMK Negeri 1 Kisaran

Optimalisasi Sistem Inventaris dan Peminjaman Barang Lab Jaringan Kampus 1 Universitas Royal Berbasis Waterfall

Abstract: This study aims to develop a web-based information system to improve the management of inventory and equipment borrowing at the Network Laboratory of Universitas Royal Asahan. The system is designed to replace manual procedures… cedures that are prone to data errors, duplication, and time inefficiency. The system development adopts the Waterfall methodology, which includes requirement analysis, UML-based system design (Use Case, Class, Activity, and Sequence Diagrams), implementation using PHP, MySQL, and the CodeIgniter framework, as well as functional testing through the black-box method. The results show that the system provides core features such as inventory management, borrowing transactions, and automated reporting. System testing indicates improved data accuracy, a 70% increase in search efficiency, and enhanced transparency in laboratory asset management. Overall, the system enables a more organized, accountable administrative process and supports the campus digitalization program.

Implementasi Algoritma K-Means Clustering untuk Mengelompokkan Siswa Berdasarkan Nilai sebagai Evaluasi Pembelajaran

Abstract: Academic achievement is a measure of students' learning outcomes, encompassing aspects of knowledge and skills. Academic performance serves as a crucial indicator in evaluating students' learning progress. MAS Al-Wasliyah… h Petatal is committed to providing quality education but still faces limitations in applying technology to evaluate student learning. The current evaluation process relies on teachers' subjective assessments, which restricts the information about students' progress. Therefore, the implementation of machine learning is proposed as a solution to enhance objectivity in student learning evaluation through more effective data processing. The method used is the K-Means Clustering algorithm, which can group or classify data based on specific patterns. This study aims to evaluate the extent to which machine learning can process student learning evaluation data through the analysis results obtained from the clustering process, which are then used as benchmarks to improve the evaluation system and provide feedback for students needing improvement in their academic performance. The data used comprises students' grades from the odd semester of the 2024/2025 academic year, with a total of 210 data points. The clustering results produced three clusters: the "good" cluster with 60 students, the "average" cluster with 99 students, and the "low" cluster with 51 students.
