Peningkatan Kualitas Air Mata Untuk Mendukung Sekolah Adiwiyata di SMPN 1 Cangkringan

Abstract: Abstract: Clean water availability plays an important role in supporting sanitation, environmental health, and educational activities in schools. SMP Negeri 1 Cangkringan has a natural spring water source containing iron… (Fe) levels of 1–2 mg/L, exceeding the water quality standard stipulated in Indonesian Ministry of Health Regulation No. 32 of 2017. This community service program aimed to improve water quality through the implementation of a simple treatment system based on aeration, sedimentation, and filtration, while also supporting the Adiwiyata School Program. The implementation method applied a participatory approach involving teachers, students, and educational staff through several stages, including identification of water quality problems, initial water quality testing, design of aeration and filtration systems, installation of the water treatment unit, post-treatment water quality testing, as well as monitoring and evaluation of program sustainability. The filtration system utilized gravel, silica sand, activated carbon, and zeolite stone as filter media. Water quality testing was conducted before and after treatment to evaluate the effectiveness of Fe reduction. The results showed that the aeration and filtration system successfully reduced Fe concentrations from 1–2 mg/L to 0.5–1 mg/L with an efficiency of 50–75%, thereby meeting the hygiene and sanitation water quality standards. In addition, the program enhanced environmental awareness among school members through practice-based learning activities.             Keywords: aeration; community service; filtration; iron (Fe); spring water quality; sustainability education.   Abstrak: Ketersediaan air bersih memiliki peran penting dalam mendukung sanitasi, kesehatan lingkungan, dan aktivitas pendidikan di sekolah. SMP Negeri 1 Cangkringan, Yogyakarta memiliki sumber mata air alami dengan kandungan zat besi (Fe) sebesar 1–2 mg/L yang melebihi baku mutu berdasarkan Permenkes RI No. 32 Tahun 2017. Kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini bertujuan meningkatkan kualitas air melalui penerapan sistem pengolahan sederhana berbasis aerasi, sedimentasi, dan filtrasi sekaligus mendukung program Sekolah Adiwiyata. Metode pelaksanaan menggunakan pendekatan partisipatif dengan melibatkan guru, siswa, dan tenaga kependidikan melalui tahapan identifikasi permasalahan kualitas air, pengujian awal kualitas air, perancangan sistem aerasi dan filtrasi, implementasi instalasi pengolahan air, pengujian kualitas air pasca pengolahan, serta monitoring dan evaluasi keberlanjutan program. Sistem filtrasi menggunakan media kerikil, pasir silika, arang aktif, dan batu zeolit. Pengujian kualitas air dilakukan sebelum dan sesudah pengolahan untuk mengetahui efektivitas penurunan kadar Fe. Hasil kegiatan menunjukkan bahwa sistem aerasi dan filtrasi mampu menurunkan kadar Fe dari 1–2 mg/L menjadi 0,5–1 mg/L dengan efisiensi sebesar 50–75%, sehingga memenuhi baku mutu air higiene sanitasi. Program ini juga meningkatkan kesadaran lingkungan warga sekolah melalui pembelajaran berbasis praktik. Pelatihan Teknik Sprites Sebagai Upaya Peningkatan Literasi Kemampuan Membaca Warga Belajar di PKBM Gempita

Abstract: Abstract: Reading habits in Indonesia remain low, including among learners at PKBM Gempita. Although PKBM Gempita has a Community Reading Park (TBM), reading has not yet become a routine literacy activity, resulting in limited… imited reading proficiency among learners. This Community Service Program (PKM) aimed to improve learners’ reading ability through meaningful reading training using the Sprites Technique. The program was implemented through preparation, training, technology application, mentoring, and evaluation stages. The Sprites Technique consists of five steps: enhancing interest and motivation, improving peripheral vision, increasing eye movement speed, surveying discourse, and strengthening concentration. The results showed a significant improvement in reading ability based on pre-test and post-test scores. After the training, 19% of participants achieved a very good level, 54% a good level, and 27% a moderate level. The findings indicate that intensive and consistent practice is required to achieve optimal reading improvement.  Keywords: literacy; PKBM gempita; reading skills; sprites technique   Abstrak: Minat baca masyarakat yang rendah karena tingkat kebiasaan membaca membaca juga rendah, termasuk di PKBM Gempita. PKBM Gempita sudah memiliki Taman Bacaan Masyarakat (TBM). Namun, membaca belum menjadi kegiatan rutin literasi di PKBM ini sehingga kemampuan membaca warga belajar belum baik. Berdasarkan permasalahan tersebut, tujuan pelaksanaan PKM ini adalah melakukan pelatihan kegiatan membaca yang bermakna dengan menerapkan Teknik Sprites untuk meningkatkan kemampuan membaca warga belajar. Metode pelaksanaan dilakukan dengan tahap persiapan, pelatihan, penerapan teknologi, pendampingan, dan evaluasi kegiatan. Teknik Sprites terdiri atas lima langkah, yaitu meningkatkan minat dan motivasi, meningkatkan periferal, meningkatkan kecepatan gerakan mata, melakukan survei wacana, dan meningkatkan konsentrasi. Penerapan teknik tersebut telah dilakukan dalam pelatihan dengan hasil yang cukup baik, yaitu terjadi peningkatan kemampuan membaca peserta pelatihan berdasarkan hasil pretes dan postes. Kemampuan membaca peserta pascapelatihan adalah 19% pada kategori baik sekali, 54% pada kategori baik, dan 27% pada kategori sedang. Hal tersebut bisa terjadi karena beberapa faktor, satu di antaranya adalah kesadaran dalam latihan mandiri peserta di rumah belum maksimal. IOT BASED HYDROPONIC WATER QUALITY CONTROL INTEGRATED WITH WEBSITE AND EARLY WARNING

One of the technologies widely applied is the Internet of Things (IoT), which… hich enables devices to be interconnected through the internet to perform monitoring and data exchange in real time. In hydroponic cultivation, water quality stability is a crucial factor that affects plant growth. The main parameters that need to be monitored include water acidity level (pH), water temperature, and dissolved nutrient concentration measured using Total Dissolved Solids (TDS). However, water quality monitoring is still commonly conducted manually, making it less efficient and potentially causing delays in detecting changes in water conditions. This study aims to design an IoT-based water quality monitoring system for hydroponic cultivation using an ESP32 microcontroller integrated with pH, temperature, and TDS sensors. The collected data are sent to a server and displayed on a web dashboard in real time, equipped with automatic notification features. The proposed system is expected to improve monitoring efficiency and increase the productivity of hydroponic cultivation       Keywords: esp32; hydroponics; internet of things; real-time monitoring; water quality.   Abstrak: Perkembangan teknologi informasi dan komunikasi mendorong transformasi digital dalam berbagai sektor, termasuk pertanian. Salah satu teknologi yang banyak diterapkan adalah Internet of Things (IoT) yang memungkinkan perangkat saling terhubung melalui jaringan internet untuk melakukan pemantauan dan pertukaran data secara real-time. Pada budidaya hidroponik, kestabilan kualitas air menjadi faktor penting yang mempengaruhi pertumbuhan tanaman. Parameter utama yang perlu diperhatikan meliputi tingkat keasaman air (pH), suhu air, serta konsentrasi nutrisi terlarut yang diukur menggunakan Total Dissolved Solids (TDS). Namun, pemantauan kualitas air masih banyak dilakukan secara manual sehingga kurang efisien dan berpotensi menimbulkan keterlambatan dalam mendeteksi perubahan kondisi air. Penelitian ini bertujuan merancang sistem pemantauan kualitas air hidroponik berbasis IoT menggunakan mikrokontroler ESP32 yang terintegrasi dengan sensor pH, suhu, dan TDS. Data dikirim ke server dan ditampilkan pada web dashboard secara real-time serta dilengkapi notifikasi otomatis. Penerapan Metode Simple Additive Weighting Sebagai Strategi Pembinaan Kecerdasan Anak

Abstract: Abstract: Kindergarten is an early childhood education that has an important role in developing the child's personality and preparing them to enter the next education level. Kindergarten is the first formal education to… enter children aged 4-6 years, until entering primary education. Children at 4-6 years of age usually have problems with non normative behaviors, behavior can be seen from the level of development or have difficulty in adjusting either at study time (concentration) or in play activities at school or at home. To find out whether the child is having problems or not, the educator needs to understand and assess the child's development in all aspects. Decision support system is a system that can be used as a tool to determine the level of intelligence of children by providing an assessment of the child. The method used by the author is the method of Simple Additive Weighting (SAW) or better known as the weighted sum. Output in this method is the values that can provide benefits for researchers in knowing the child's intelligence to be held special coaching for children who have problems in its development. Quick and precise decisions become an important issue in a study. Data analysis is done by comparing between children. The result of SAW method analysis is a conclusion that helps teachers / educators to know the intelligence of their students.   Keywords: decision support system, SAW, kindergarten intelligence.     Abstrak: Taman kanak-kanak merupakan jenjang pendidikan anak usia dini yang memiliki peran penting dalam mengembangkan kepribadian anak serta mempersiapkan mereka untuk memasuki jenjang pendidikan selanjutnya. TK adalah jenjang pendidikan formal pertama yang memasuki anak usia 4-6 tahun, sampai memasuki pendidikan dasar. Anak pada usia 4-6 tahun biasanya memiliki masalah pada prilaku non normatif, prilaku dapat dilihat dari tingkat perkembangannya atau mengalami kesulitan dalam menyesuaikan diri baik pada waktu belajar (konsentrasi) maupun dalam aktivitas bermain disekolah atau dirumah. Untuk mengetahui apakah anak bermasalah atau tidak, pendidik perlu memahami dan memberikan penilaian terhadap perkembangan anak dalam segala aspek. Sistem pendukung keputusan merupakan sistem yang dapat digunakan sebagai alat bantu untuk mengetahui tingkat kecerdasan anak dengan memberikan penilaian terhadap anak tersebut. Metode yang digunakan penulis adalah metode Simple Additive Weighting (SAW) atau yang lebih dikenal dengan penjumlahan berbobot. Output dalam metode ini merupakan nilai-nilai yang dapat memberikan keuntungan bagi peneliti dalam mengetahui kecerdasan anak guna diadakan pembinaan khusus untuk anak-anak tk yang memiliki masalah dalam perkembangannya. Keputusan yang cepat dan tepat menjadi persoalan penting dalam sebuah penelitian. Analisa data dilakukan dengan cara membandingkan antara anak. Finite Element Method for Stress Analysis of an Infinite Plate with an Elliptical Hole Using Functionally Graded Materials

Abstract: This study investigates the stress concentration factor in an infinite steel plate with a thickness of 1 cm, containing an elliptical hole, subjected to biaxial loading at infinity. The elliptical hole has semi-axes a=5.0 cma… 0 cma = 5.0 \, \text{cm}a = 5.0 cm (major axis) and b=2.5 cmb = 2.5 \, \text{cm}b = 2.5 cm (minor axis). The applied stresses at infinity are a tensile stress of σ1=100 kg/cm2\sigma_1 = 100 \, \text{kg/cm}^2= 100 kg/parallel to the major axis and a compressive stress of σ2=−100 kg/cm2\sigma_2 = -100 \, \text{kg/cm}^2= -100 kg/ perpendicular to the major axis. The material properties include Young's modulus E=2.1×106 kg/cm2E = 2.1 \times 10^6 \, \text{kg/cm}^2E = 2,1.  kg/ and Poisson's ratioν=0.3\nu = 0.3  = 0.3. Using analytical solutions from classical elasticity theory, the maximum tangential stress at the edge of the ellipse is calculated as σmax=600 kg/cm2\sigma_{\text{max}} = 600 \, \text{kg/cm}^2= -600 kg/, yielding a stress concentration factor of kσ=σmax/σ=6k_\sigma = \sigma_{\text{max}} / \sigma = 6 =  =6. Additionally, a finite element (FE) analysis based on the Salerno and Sahoni problem for a quarter section of the plate results in kσ=3.1125k_\sigma = 3.1125 = 3.1125 for a configuration with s/r=5s/r = 5s/r = 5, showing a discrepancy of 1.3% compared to the theoretical value of kσ=3.1k_\sigma = 3.1= 3.1 from Peterson's Stress Concentration Factors. The results demonstrate good agreement between the calculated model and theoretical predictions, validating the accuracy of the FE approach for stress concentration analysis in such configurations.

This research was conducted on the land of the Department of Environmental Protection… ion Food, Agriculture and Fisheries Department of Medan City, Jl. Keramat Indah No. 4, Medan Southeast, Medan Denai District, North Sumatra. The experimental design that The design used in this study was a Randomized Block Design (RAK) with 3x3 factorial pattern with 3 replications with total treatment combinations as many as 9 treatments. Treatment factor of Blotong dose with symbol B consisting of 3 level that is : (B1) 0.50 kg/plot (B2) 1.00 kg/plot (B3) 1.50 kg/plot. Factor POC Seprint concentration with the symbol S which consists of 3 levels, namely: (S1) 4 ml/1 L water (S2) 8 ml/1 L water and (S3) 12 ml/1 L water. Observation data was carried out analysis of variance with F test at 5% level, if the difference is significant then the test followed by Duncan's test at 5% level. 1). The effect of the Blotong dose has an effect very real on plant height, number of leaves, flag leaf length, leaf width flag, weight of cob, diameter of cob, length of cob, but it has an effect real on production per plot And amount line per cob, whereas had no significant effect on the stem diameter of sweet corn plants ( Zea Mays ). 2). Based on the results and discussion, it can be concluded that the treatment POC Seprint does not have a very significant impact on all parameters Which observed. Addition fertilizer Seprint with concentration 12 ml/1 L water show results Which best compared to treatment other. 3). Interaction between treatment influences Blotong and POC Seprint no real effect on all observation parameters observed on sweet corn plants ( Zea Mays ).

THE EFFECT OF GIVING GANDASIL D AND WATERING FREQUENCY ON THE GROWTH

The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of Gandasil D fertilizer on the growth and yield of pakcoy (Brassica… ssica rapa L), to determine the effect of watering frequency on the growth and yield of pakcoy (Brassica rapa L) and to determine the effect of both on the growth and yield of pakcoy (Brassica rapa L). Based on the results of the study, the treatment of Gandasil D fertilizer had a very significant effect on plant height, number of leaves, leaf area, wet weight, selling weight with a fertilizer concentration of 3 g / l water and a watering frequency of 1 time in one day compared to 1 time in 3 days of watering and the interaction between the treatment of Gandasil D fertilizer and watering frequency had a significant effect on plant height, number of leaves, leaf area, wet weight, and selling weight.

Hubungan Motivasi Belajar Terhadap Penggunaan Smartphone Pada Remaja Kelas VIII Di SMP Negeri 25 Padang Pada Tahun 2025

Abstract: Penggunaan smartphone di kalangan remaja terus meningkat seiring dengan kemudahan akses terhadap informasi, hiburan, dan media sosial. Menurut APJII (2024), 98% remaja menggunakan smartphone, sementara data dari Badan Pusat… sat Statistik Sumatera Barat (2024) menunjukkan bahwa 67,78% remaja memiliki akses ke smartphone. Penggunaan berlebihan ini membuat remaja kesulitan mengelola waktu, mengurangi konsentrasi, sering menunda-nunda tugas, dan mempengaruhi motivasi belajar mereka. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui hubungan antara motivasi belajar dan penggunaan smartphone pada remaja kelas VIII di SMP Negeri 25 Padang Tahun 2025, dengan pengumpulan data dilakukan pada 26-28 Mei 2025. Populasi penelitian terdiri dari 261 siswa kelas VIII di SMP Negeri 25 Padang pada tahun 2025. Sampel sebanyak 72 responden diambil menggunakan rumus Slovin dengan teknik sampling acak. Pengumpulan data dilakukan menggunakan lembar observasi dan kuesioner MSLQ, dianalisis secara univariat dan bivariat menggunakan uji Chi-Square. Hasil menunjukkan bahwa 45,8% remaja memiliki motivasi belajar rendah, sementara 44,4% memiliki penggunaan smartphone yang tinggi. Secara bivariat, terdapat hubungan antara motivasi belajar dan penggunaan smartphone pada remaja kelas VIII di SMP Negeri 25 Padang tahun 2025. Diharapkan guru dapat meningkatkan program pendidikan tentang penggunaan smartphone yang sehat dan menciptakan lingkungan belajar yang kondusif. Smartphone use among adolescents is increasing along with easier acces to information, entertainment, and social media. According to APJII (2024), 98% of adolescents use smartphones, while data from the West Sumatra Statistics Agency (2024) shows that 67,78% of adolescents have acces to smartphones. This excessive use makes it difficult for teenager to manage their time, reduces their concentration, causes them to frequently procrastinate, and affects their motivation to learn. This study aims to determine the relationship between learning motivation and smartphone use among eight-grade students at SMP Negeri 25 Padang in August 2025, with data collection carried out on May 26-28, 2025. The study population consisted of 261 eight-grade students at SMP Negeri 25 Padang in 2025. A sample of 72 respondents was taken using the Slovin formula with random sampling technique. Data collection was conducted using observation sheets and MSLQ questionnaires,analyzed univariately and bivariately using the Chi-Square test. The results showed that 45,8% of adolescents had low learning motivation, while 44,4% had high smartphone usage. Bivariate there is a relationship between learning motivation and smartphone use among eight-grade students at SMP Negeri 25 Padang in 2025. It is hoped that teachers can improve educational programs on healthy smartphone use and create a create a conducive learning environment.

Making Sense Of Mindfulness In Indonesian Elementary Schools: A Phenomenological Exploration Of Pupils’ Lived Experiences Of Concentration And Memory Within The “Merdeka Belajar” Context

Abstract: This study aims to elucidate the essence of Indonesian elementary school students' lived experiences of mindfulness meditation and how it shapes their perceptions of concentration and memory in the context of "Freedom to… Learn." A hermeneutic-phenomenological study was conducted with five students in grades 4-5. Data were generated through in-depth conversations and participant observations during a four-week classroom mindfulness program and analyzed through phenomenological reduction and thematic synthesis. The research findings indicate that the unchanging essence, namely "a shift from an anxious mind to a calm mind that opens up space for learning," is expressed through four interrelated themes: perceived emotional calm, sustained attention, easier recall, and positive appreciation of quiet moments. The study concludes that mindfulness is not simply a technique, but a pedagogical way of life that begins with learning; integrating brief, mindful pauses can foster reflective, calm, and independent learners aligned with the Pancasila Student Profile.
