Development research—or Research and Development (R&D)—is a scientific method used to create new products or improve existing ones, as well as to test their effectiveness. These products may take the form of media, models, modules, or tools. Specifically for Educational Technology undergraduates, this type of research involves a scientific approach to designing, producing, and testing the feasibility of instructional products—such as interactive media, learning models, or digital modules—to address learning challenges. The primary objective of R&D for Educational Technology undergraduates is to produce instructional products that are valid, practical, and effective in solving learning problems and enhancing the quality of the learning process and performance. The benefits of such research include improved skills in creating instructional products, the ability to solve real-world learning problems, and the development of a professional portfolio.

i pendekatan Realistic Mathematics Education (RME), serta mendeskripsikan tantangan implementasi beserta strategi penyelesaiannya pada konteks sekolah dasar multikultural. Penelitian menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan paradigma interpretatif yang dilaksanakan di SD Tzu Chi Jakarta Utara. Informan penelitian terdiri atas guru matematika kelas VI, Kepala Departemen Matematika, dan peserta didik kelas VI yang dipilih secara purposif. Data dikumpulkan melalui observasi partisipatif, wawancara mendalam, dan studi dokumentasi, kemudian dianalisis menggunakan model interaktif Miles, Huberman, dan Saldaña melalui kondensasi data, penyajian data, serta penarikan kesimpulan yang divalidasi dengan triangulasi sumber, triangulasi metode, dan member checking. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa sinergi budaya humanis dan pendidikan akhlak terwujud melalui konvergensi nilai Gan En dengan syukur, Zun Zhong dengan tasamuh, serta Ai Xin dengan mahabbah yang diimplementasikan secara inklusif dalam pembelajaran matematika berbasis RME. Strategi guru meliputi penyajian masalah kontekstual, proses matematisasi bertahap, diskusi kolaboratif, dan refleksi nilai sehingga pembelajaran tidak hanya meningkatkan pemahaman matematis, tetapi juga membentuk karakter humanis dan tanggung jawab sosial peserta didik. Tantangan implementasi meliputi keterbatasan waktu pembelajaran dan kompleksitas materi matematika, yang diatasi melalui perencanaan pembelajaran kolaboratif dan pengembangan activity sheet berbasis konteks nyata. Penelitian ini berkontribusi pada pengembangan model integrasi budaya humanis, pendidikan akhlak, dan pembelajaran matematika berbasis RME pada sekolah dasar multikultural.

The findings indicate that education in the colonial period was politically driven, primarily serving Dutch interests in exploiting Indonesia’s natural resources and economy. In contrast, during the post-independence period through the reform era, education was implemented in a structured manner and underwent several refinements, beginning with the 1947 curriculum and continuing through 1952, 1964, 1968, 1975, 1984, 1994, 2004, 2006, 2013, and culminating in the Merdeka Curriculum. In the post-independence era, education was oriented toward shaping individuals based on the principles of Pancasila and the 1945 Constitution.

Data were collected via an online survey of a purposive sample comprising prospective students or first-year students (aged 17–21) who actively use TikTok and interact with university-related content. Data analysis was conducted on a minimum of 250 respondents using Partial Least Squares (PLS)-based Structural Equation Modelling (SEM) with the aid of SmartPLS software. The results of the outer model testing showed that all indicators used in the questionnaire were valid and reliable. Hypothesis testing confirmed that User-Generated Content has a direct, positive and significant effect on Brand Authenticity, Brand Trust and Choice Decision. Furthermore, Brand Authenticity also has a positive and significant effect on Brand Trust and Choice Decision. Mediation analysis revealed that Brand Authenticity acts as a partial mediator, bridging the influence of UGC on Brand Trust and Choice Decisions. This study confirms that user-generated organic content on TikTok is a crucial instrument in building trust and influencing the academic decisions of Generation Z. Higher education brands that are authentically represented through UGC will find it easier to win the trust and preference of prospective students.

Interactive educational approaches, such as demonstration methods combined with songs, may enhance children's practical skills more effectively than conventional instruction. This study aimed to determine the effect of health education using a demonstration method on handwashing with soap skills among children in the BTN AL community, Entrop Subdistrict, South Jayapura District. A quantitative study with a one-group pretest-posttest pre-experimental design was conducted involving 20 child participants selected through total sampling. The intervention consisted of a live demonstration of the WHO six-step handwashing technique accompanied by a modified version of the children's song Naik Becak. Participants' handwashing skills were assessed before and after the intervention using the WHO Standard Hand Hygiene Observation Checklist. Data were analyzed using the Wilcoxon Signed-Rank Test. The findings demonstrated a significant improvement in children's handwashing skills following the intervention. Before receiving health education, most participants were unable to perform the recommended handwashing procedure correctly. After the intervention, 18 participants (90%) successfully demonstrated all six handwashing steps independently, while only two participants (10%) still required assistance. Statistical analysis showed a significant difference between pretest and posttest scores (p < 0.001). The study concludes that health education delivered through a demonstration method combined with a modified children's song effectively improves handwashing with soap skills among children. This approach may serve as an innovative and engaging strategy for promoting healthy hygiene behaviors in early childhood.

increasing use of electric vehicles is not only due to technical and policy changes, but also communication efforts. This study attempts to analyze the sustainability communication strategy used by the TikTok account @eos_indonesia in providing education related to electric vehicles. This study uses a qualitative method with a content analysis approach, These methods consist of digital participatory observation and documentation, The data collection is an analysis of the TikTok account @eos_indonesia content data that will be taken with a time span of April 2025 - June 2026 according to the classification that has been made, the data collected includes: video content (visual, audio and narrative). and content analysis has stages, starting from determining the unit of information, data sampling, recoding or recoding data (coding), grouping based on certain categories until finally interpreting the meaning contained in the message content. The research results show that sustainability communication strategies are carried out through five approaches: providing environmental education, reducing the complexity of electric vehicle technology, storytelling based on user experience, digital visual persuasion, and combining economic and environmental benefits in every communication message. This study contributes to the field of digital communication and sustainability communication by demonstrating the potential effectiveness of social media as a public education platform towards green transportation transformation in Indonesia.
