Sistem Bel Sekolah Otomatis Berbasis Arduino Nano Dan Dfplayer di Mas Islamiyah Hessa Air Genting

Abstract: Abstract: Manual school bell operations in rural areas often cause schedule inconsistencies and reduced discipline. This community service implemented an automatic bell system using an Arduino Nano, RTC DS3231, and DFPlayer… yer Mini at MAS Islamiyah Hessa Air Genting. Activities covered needs assessment, system design, audio preparation, installation, training, and evaluation. The system achieved 100% timing accuracy and 40% cost efficiency compared to conventional bell systems. It operated reliably, produced clear audio, and integrated smoothly with the school’s sound system, improving punctuality among teachers and students. The solution is low-cost, easy to maintain, and replicable for other schools. Project outputs include one functional prototype, training materials, and a manuscript submitted to a nationally accredited journal. After this program, the partner experienced improved discipline among teachers and students due to a more organized and punctual bell schedule. In addition, school operators are now able to operate and maintain the system independently, resulting in more efficient school operations. Kegiatan pengabdian ini menerapkan sistem bel otomatis berbasis Arduino Nano, modul RTC DS3231, dan DFPlayer Mini di MAS Islamiyah Hessa Air Genting. Tahapan kegiatan meliputi analisis kebutuhan, perancangan perangkat keras dan lunak, perekaman konten audio, instalasi sistem, pelatihan operator, serta monitoring dan evaluasi. Hasil pengujian menunjukkan bahwa sistem mampu meningkatkan ketepatan waktu pembunyian bel hingga 100% dibandingkan sistem manual, serta menurunkan biaya implementasi hingga 40% dibandingkan bel komersial dengan fungsi sepadan. Sistem beroperasi stabil, memiliki kualitas audio yang jelas, dan terintegrasi baik dengan sound system sekolah, sehingga berdampak pada peningkatan kedisiplinan guru dan siswa. Solusi ini tergolong ekonomis, mudah dirawat, dan berpotensi direplikasi di sekolah lain dengan karakteristik serupa. Luaran kegiatan meliputi satu unit prototipe berfungsi, modul pelatihan, serta naskah artikel ilmiah yang diajukan pada jurnal terakreditasi nasional. Setelah kegiatan ini, mitra mengalami peningkatan kedisiplinan guru dan siswa karena jadwal bel menjadi lebih teratur dan tepat waktu. Selain itu, operator sekolah kini mampu mengoperasikan dan merawat sistem secara mandiri sehingga kinerja operasional sekolah menjadi lebih efisien. Peningkatan Literasi Digital Bagi Guru SD Negeri 132408 Kota Tanjungbalai Dalam Mencegah Dan Mengatasi Cybercrime

Abstract: Abstract: The rapid development of digital technology in education presents significant benefits, but it also introduces serious challenges in the form of increasing threats of Cybercrime. Teachers at SD Negeri 132408 Kota&#8230; ta Tanjungbalai, as the frontline of education, often lack an adequate understanding of digital literacy and how to handle cybercrimes, such as the spread of false information, data theft, and violations of digital ethics. This community service activity aims to enhance the digital literacy capacity of teachers in preventing and addressing Cybercrime within the school environment. The methods used include intensive training, group discussions, case studies, and practical simulations, implemented in three stages: preparation, implementation, and evaluation. The solutions offered encompass providing digital literacy materials, Cybercrime prevention training, and developing practical guidelines. Evaluation results show that teacher understanding increased significantly, with the average score rising from 45 to 78 (p<0.05). The targeted outputs of this activity are the publication of a scientific article in a Sinta 5 accredited national journal as a mandatory output, and a popular article in mass media as an additional output. This activity is expected to increase teachers' awareness and skills in creating a safe and healthy digital education environment. Guru di SD Negeri 132408 Kota Tanjungbalai, sebagai garda terdepan pendidikan, seringkali belum memiliki pemahaman yang memadai tentang literasi digital dan cara menghadapi kejahatan siber, seperti penyebaran informasi palsu, pencurian data, dan pelanggaran etika digital. Kegiatan pengabdian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan kapasitas literasi digital guru dalam mencegah dan mengatasi Cybercrime di lingkungan sekolah. Metode yang digunakan berupa pelatihan intensif, diskusi kelompok, studi kasus, dan simulasi praktik, yang dilaksanakan dalam tiga tahap: persiapan, pelaksanaan, dan evaluasi. Solusi yang ditawarkan mencakup pemberian materi literasi digital, pelatihan pencegahan Cybercrime, dan penyusunan panduan praktis. Hasil evaluasi menunjukkan pemahaman guru meningkat signifikan dari skor rata-rata 45 menjadi 78 (p<0.05). Target luaran dari kegiatan ini adalah publikasi artikel ilmiah pada jurnal nasional terakreditasi Sinta 5 sebagai luaran wajib, dan artikel di media massa sebagai luaran tambahan. Diharapkan kegiatan ini mampu meningkatkan kesadaran dan keterampilan guru dalam menciptakan lingkungan pendidikan digital yang aman dan sehat. Pemanfaatan Sistem Informasi Pengelolaan Data Prestasi Siswa Bagi Sekolah Menengah Atas

Abstract: SMAN 1 Waru is experiencing rapid development, particularly in this digital era, with its students achieving notable success in sports, science, and arts. However, despite these achievements, the management of such accomplishments&#8230; plishments remains inadequate, rely-ing on manual systems. Consequently, the collection and recording of student achieve-ment data at SMAN 1 Waru are disorganized and often not up to date. Recognizing this issue, the community service team has developed an information system to manage stu-dent achievement data. This system includes comprehensive training to facilitate the ef-ficient processing of student achievements for both internal and external purposes, such as accreditation. The training session took place on March 28, 2024, at SMAN 1 Waru's computer laboratory and was attended by 35 students, website administrators, and three teachers. The training employed various methods, including lectures, practical exercises, and discussions. All participants demonstrated a clear understanding of the application's usage, as evidenced by their improved pre-test and post-test scores. Statistical analysis using the t-test confirmed the significance of this improvement, indicating that the train-ing effectively enhanced participants' understanding of using the student achievement website. Furthermore, the success of the training is reflected in the records of achieve-ment data inputted by the participants.             Keywords: achievement data; information system; website.

Optimalisasi Kinerja Dosen Melalui Pelatihan Penulisan Ilmiah Jurnal Terakreditasi Sinta

Abstract: Generating quality published articles is one of the lecturers' obligations. This can improve lecturer performance and have an impact on increasing higher education accreditation. However, there are still many lecturer articles&#8230; ticles published in uncredited journals. Apart from that, there are still many lecturers who do not understand the systematics of writing in accredited national journals. Therefore, the faculty of economics and business, Pekalongan University carries out scientific writing and publication training as well as utilizing the SINTA account to improve lecturer performance. The training was carried out in four stages, namely the initial survey stage, the training material socialization stage, the writing practice stage and utilizing the SINTA account, and the activity evaluation stage. The survey results showed that there was an increase in the percentage of participants who understood the systematics of writing in the SINTA journal from 57% before the training to 91% of the total. Meanwhile, the percentage of participants who were able to utilize the SINTA account also increased from 44% before the training was carried out to 82% after the training was carried out.             Keywords: lecturer performance; reserach; article publication

Penerapan Aplikasi Laboratorium Untuk Meningkatkan Kualitas Layanan Di Puskesmas Gandus

Abstract: Abstract: The Public Health Center (Puskesmas) is a driving center for health-oriented development, empowering societies and families, and first-level health service is responsible for improving the quality of its services&#8230; es by delivering relevant, fast, and targeted information to achieve its vision and mission. Especially during the Covid-19 pandemic some time ago, the role of the Puskesmas laboratory as the frontline of the first-level health service center in examining Covid-19 symptoms and carrying out vaccinations is essential. Therefore, this community service activity aims to implement a web-based laboratory application at the Gandus health center to assist laboratory staff in completing, collecting, processing, and presenting data in a more structured, easy-to-read, timely, and accurate manner. The stages of the activity include interviews, discussions, patient data collection and laboratory examinations, application installation, and socialization of its use. This activity can improve the quality of laboratory services and add value to the accreditation of the Puskesmas. Oleh karena itu, kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk menerapkan aplikasi laboratorium berbasis web di puskesmas Gandus dalam upaya untuk membantu staf laboratorium dalam melengkapi, mengumpulkan, memproses, dan mempresentasikan data secara lebih terstruktur, mudah dipahami, akurat, dan tepat waktu. Tahapan kegiatan meliputi wawancara, diskusi, pengambilan data pasien dan pemeriksaan laboratorium, instalasi aplikasi, serta sosialisasi penggunaannya. Pelatihan Hukum Bisnis Kepada Pimpinan Lembaga Keuangan

Abstract: Abstract: Business actors need information regarding the implications of the latest laws and regulations for their business activities. Many companies have carried out corporate action activities during the Covid-19 pandemic.&#8230; emic. This corporate action requires approval from creditors, especially bank financial institutions. Bank leaders need knowledge of regulations and the implications of each regulation on decisions to be taken. This training provides information on new regulations, including the Job Creation Law, Information and Electronic Transaction Law, and the proposed Personal Data Protection (PDP Law. The training is conducted using the webinar method in order to reach bank leaders throughout Indonesia. The results of this webinar have enriched the knowledge of bank leaders regarding the laws and regulations, especially their implications for the banking business.  Keywords: corporate action; business law; banking    Abstrak: Pelaku usaha memerlukan informasi mengenai implikasi peraturan perundang-undangan terbaru terhadap kegiatan usaha yang dijalankannya. Banyak perusahaan telah melakukan kegiatan aksi korporasi selama pandemi Covid-19. Aksi korporasi ini memerlukan persetujuan dari pada kreditor, khususnya lembaga keuangan bank. Para pimpinan bank memerlukan pengetahuan mengenai peraturan dan implikasi setiap peraturan terhadap keputusan yang akan diambil. Pelatihan ini memberikan informasi mengenai peraturan yang baru, di antaranya UU CK, UU ITE, dan rencana UU PDP. Pelatihan dilakukan dengan metode webinar agar dapat menjangkau para pimpinan bank yang berada di seluruh Indonesia. Hasil webinar ini telah memperkaya pengetahuan para pimpinan bank terhadap peraturan perundang-undangan terutama implikasinya terhadap bisnis perbankan. WEB-BASED ELEMENTARY SCHOOL SELECTION DECISION SUPPORT SYSTEM USING A COMBINATION OF SMART AND TOPSIS METHODS

Abstract: Abstract: Choosing the right elementary school is a crucial milestone for a child's future. However, the large number of school options in Asahan Regency with diverse criteria such as accreditation, facilities, fees, curriculum,&#8230; riculum, and accessibility often makes it difficult for parents. Decision-making tends to be based on subjective word-of-mouth recommendations, which risks triggering bias. This research aims to develop an adaptive and objective web-based elementary school selection Decision Support System (DSS) framework to minimize such bias. The system is designed using a hybrid model that combines the Simple Multi-Attribute Rating Technique (SMART) method as a dynamic criteria weighting engine based on parents' preferences, and the Technique for Order of Preference by Similarity to Ideal Solution (TOPSIS) method to rank ten alternative schools. System testing was conducted through black-box testing functionality and empirical accuracy testing using Spearman Rank Correlation involving 40 respondents. The black-box testing results confirmed that all main system operations ran perfectly with a 100% success rate. Validity testing demonstrated very high accuracy, with a Spearman correlation coefficient of 0.89, demonstrating significant alignment between the system's recommendations and actual choices on the ground. Thus, the SMART-TOPSIS framework has proven reliable as a data-driven approach to helping parents choose the best elementary school. Namun, banyaknya pilihan sekolah di Kabupaten Asahan dengan keberagaman kriteria seperti akreditasi, fasilitas, biaya, kurikulum, dan aksesibilitas sering kali menyulitkan orang tua. Pengambilan keputusan pun cenderung didasarkan pada rekomendasi subjektif dari mulut ke mulut, yang berisiko memicu bias. Penelitian ini bertujuan mengembangkan kerangka kerja Sistem Pendukung Keputusan (SPK) pemilihan sekolah dasar berbasis web yang adaptif dan objektif guna meminimalkan bias tersebut. Sistem dirancang menggunakan model hibrida yang mengombinasikan metode *Simple Multi-Attribute Rating Technique* (SMART) sebagai mesin pembobotan kriteria dinamis sesuai preferensi orang tua, serta metode *Technique for Order of Preference by Similarity to Ideal Solution* (TOPSIS) untuk memeringkat sepuluh sekolah alternatif. Pengujian sistem dilakukan melalui uji fungsionalitas *black-box testing* dan uji akurasi empiris menggunakan Korelasi Peringkat Spearman dengan melibatkan 40 responden. Hasil *black-box testing* mengonfirmasi seluruh operasi utama sistem berjalan sempurna dengan tingkat keberhasilan 100%. Uji validitas menunjukkan akurasi sangat tinggi dengan koefisien korelasi Spearman sebesar 0,89, membuktikan keselarasan signifikan antara rekomendasi sistem dan pilihan nyata di lapangan. Dengan demikian, kerangka SMART-TOPSIS ini terbukti andal sebagai pendekatan berbasis data untuk membantu orang tua memilih sekolah dasar terbaik. IMPLEMENTATION OF XGBOOST FOR PREDICTING STUDENT GRADUATION USING SIMULATED DATASET

Abstract: Abstract: Student graduation is an urgent matter that is an indicator of the success of a university in producing its learning output. Several factors influence student graduation such as GPA, attendance, late taking credits,&#8230; dits, and lack of student involvement in academic activities. The urgency of this research, universities need a method that is able to predict student graduation early so that it can provide academic intervention to students who have the potential to experience delays or fail to graduate. However, limited access to real academic data is often an obstacle in the development of predictive models, Therefore, this study aims to implement the XGBoost algorithm to predict student graduation based on several academic variables, namely the Cumulative Grade Point Average (GPA), the number of credits taken, the percentage of attendance, and the average grade of students. Model training using the XGBoost algorithm using a simulation dataset of 500 students who are labeled as graduating into two classes, namely passed and failed. The results of the study showed that the classification performance was very good with an accuracy value of 99.6%, Precision 99.7%, recall 99.4%.      Keywords: xgboost algorithm; data mining; student graduation     Abstrak: Kelulusan mahasiswa merupakan hal urgensi yang menjadi indikator keberhasilan sebuah perguruan tinggi dalam menghasilkan output pembelajarannya. Beberapa Faktor yang mempengaruhi kelulusan mahasiswa seperti IPK, kehadiran, keterlambatan pengambilan SKS, serta kurangnya keterlibatan mahasiswa dalam aktifitas akademik. Yang menjadi urgensi penelitian ini, Perguruan tinggi memerlukan suatu metode yang mampu memprediksi kelulusan mahasiswa secara dini sehingga dapat memberikan intervensi akademik kepada mahasiswa yang berpotensi mengalami keterlambatan atau tidak lulus. Namun, keterbatasan akses terhadap data akademik riil sering menjadi kendala dalam pengembangan model prediksi, Oleh karena itu, penelitian ini bertujuan mengimplementasikan algoritma XGBoost untuk memprediksi kelulusan mahasiswa berdasarkan beberapa variabel akademik, yaitu Indeks Prestasi Kumulatif (IPK), jumlah SKS yang ditempuh, persentase kehadiran, dan nilai rata-rata mahasiswa. Pelatihan model menggunakan algoritma XGBoost dengan menggunakan dataset simulasi 500 mahasiswa yang diberi label kelulusan menjadi dua kelas yaitu lulus dan tidak lulus. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa performance klasifikasi yang sangat baik dengan nilai accurasi sebesar 99,6%, Precision 99,7%, recall 99,4%. STUDENT ACADEMIC ACHIEVEMENT CLUSTERING USING FUZZY C-MEANS ALGORITHM

Abstract: Abstract: Academic achievement mapping is an important process in higher education to support effective academic monitoring and guidance. In practice, student grouping is often conducted manually by academic staff using&#8230; simple criteria such as Grade Point Average (GPA) thresholds and subjective judgment, without systematic data analysis. This study aims to apply the Fuzzy C-Means (FCM) clustering algorithm to objectively group students based on their academic achievement levels. The dataset consists of academic records from 179 sixth-semester students of the Computer Science Study Program at Universitas Islam Negeri Sumatera Utara, where 160 eligible students are processed in the FCM calculation. Three variables are used: cumulative GPA, total completed credits, and the total number of low grades (D/E). The FCM algorithm automatically performs the mapping and groups students into three categories, namely excellent, stable, and at-risk students. Cluster quality is evaluated using the Silhouette Score and Davies–Bouldin Index, showing satisfactory clustering performance. The results indicate that the proposed approach provides a data-driven and objective basis for academic decision support.             Keywords: academic achievement; clustering; fuzzy c-means; student     Abstrak: Pemetaan pencapaian akademik mahasiswa merupakan proses penting dalam pendidikan tinggi untuk mendukung pemantauan dan pembinaan akademik yang tepat sasaran. Dalam praktiknya, pengelompokan mahasiswa masih sering dilakukan secara manual oleh pihak akademik berdasarkan kriteria sederhana, seperti batasan Indeks Prestasi Kumulatif (IPK) dan penilaian subjektif, tanpa analisis data yang sistematis. Penelitian ini bertujuan menerapkan algoritma Fuzzy C-Means (FCM) untuk mengelompokkan mahasiswa secara objektif berdasarkan tingkat pencapaian akademik. Data penelitian berasal dari 179 mahasiswa semester enam Program Studi Ilmu Komputer Universitas Islam Negeri Sumatera Utara, dengan 160 mahasiswa memenuhi kriteria dan diproses menggunakan algoritma FCM. Proses pemetaan sepenuhnya dilakukan oleh algoritma FCM dan menghasilkan tiga kategori mahasiswa, yaitu unggul, stabil, dan berisiko.
