Irwan, Adi Panca Pamungkas, Wiwin Handoko
Abstract: Bread product sales have become an important aspect of the bakery business, influenced by fluctuations in demand that are not easily predictable. Efficient sales management requires a deep understanding of sales patterns.… . This study aims to optimize bread product sales by using the K-Means Clustering algorithm to analyze daily sales performance at Toko Roti Amin. The data used includes sales volume and transaction frequency for bread products, consisting of 356 data points. The results show that the bread products can be grouped into three clusters: 129 data in the “Good Sales” cluster, 28 data in the “Moderate Sales” cluster, and 199 data in the “Low Sales” cluster. These findings assist bakery owners in managing stock, production planning, and more targeted marketing strategies. Although there are limitations in using K-Means Clustering, such as dependence on the initial centroid selection, this study proves that applying this technique can enhance inventory management and maximize profit in the bakery business.

IMPLEMENTASI PROGRAM KELUARGA HARAPAN (PKH) DALAM UPAYA PENINGKATAN KELUARGA SEJAHTERA DI KAMPUNG SUMBER REJEKI DISTRIK KURIK KABUPATEN MERAUKE

Eka Sugiarti Setianingrum, David Laiyan, Syahrabudin Husein Enala, Frederikus Antonius Mana
Abstract: This study aims to analyze the implementation of the Family Hope Program (PKH) in Sumber Rejeki Village by assessing aspects such as policy objectives and targets, resources, organizational characteristics, implementer attitudes,… ttitudes, inter-organizational communication, as well as the economic, social, and political environment. The research method used is a qualitative approach with in-depth interviews conducted with key informants, including policy implementers, PKH assistants, and beneficiaries. The findings indicate that the PKH policy's objectives are well understood by the target community, but there are challenges related to uneven aid distribution, leading to social injustice among more vulnerable groups. The available resources, while adequate, have not been optimally utilized to reach all impoverished communities, especially those in remote areas. The characteristics of the implementing organization show good coordination, but improvements are needed in transparency and communication with the public, particularly those not registered as beneficiaries. The professional and empathetic attitude of the implementers greatly supports the program's success, although there are shortcomings in communication and outreach to the general public. The economic, social, and political environment plays a significant role in the successful implementation of PKH, with challenges such as social jealousy and local political factors affecting aid distribution. Therefore, it is recommended to enhance transparency in the data collection and aid distribution processes, strengthen the capacity of social assistants, and expand outreach efforts to ensure that the PKH program is more equitable and effective in achieving its goals.

Kuota 30% Perempuan di Parlemen: Implementasi dan Efektivitasnya di Indonesia

Fransin Kontu, Stefanes Pesak
Abstract: Abstract Women's representation in parliament is an important indicator in realising gender equality and inclusive democracy. To support this, Indonesia has adopted a 30% quota policy for women in legislative candidacy since… since the 2004 elections. This policy aims to increase women's participation in politics and ensure women's voices are represented in decision-making. However, even though this policy has been implemented, women's representation in parliament is still far from the expected target. In the 2019 elections, women's representation in the People's Representative Council (DPR) only reached 20.5%. This research analyses the implementation and effectiveness of gender quota policies in Indonesia using a qualitative approach. Findings show that the main obstacles to implementing gender quotas include the dominance of patriarchal culture, lack of support from political parties, discrimination against female candidates, and weak supervision and law enforcement. On the other hand, this policy has made a positive contribution in the form of increasing the number of women elected as legislative members, although this contribution is still limited. In conclusion, the effectiveness of the 30% quota policy for women in parliament requires strengthening commitment from various parties, including political parties, society, and election management institutions. Research recommendations include strengthening the capacity of female candidates, increasing supervision of quota implementation, as well as wider outreach about the importance of women's representation in politics. With these steps, it is hoped that gender equality in parliament can be achieved better in the future. Keywords:, women's representation, parliament, politics, Indonesia.

Phonological Addition and Deletion of Loan Words Used in Indonesian

Abdurrahim, Abdul Rahman, Bustani
Abstract: This study explores the phonological transformations that occur when foreign words, particularly English, are adopted into Indonesian. Employing a descriptive method, the research systematically examines how these words… undergo changes and how their phonemes are altered during the adoption process. Using a linguistic approach combined with simple descriptive analysis, the study successfully analyzed a variety of borrowed words to uncover patterns in their phonological adaptation. The findings reveal that the adoption process often involves phonological addition, deletion, or retention of specific phonemes. Some phonemes remain constant, preserving their original sound, while others are either added or omitted to align with Indonesian phonological rules and linguistic norms. Notably, the study identifies and formulates about sixteen distinct patterns of phonological addition and deletion that regularly occur during this process. These patterns highlight the systematic nature of language adaptation, demonstrating how linguistic structures accommodate borrowed words to fit the phonological and phonetic framework of the target language. This research contributes valuable insights into the dynamic interaction between languages, particularly the way phonological structures are modified to ensure compatibility and ease of use in a new linguistic environment. These findings provide a foundational understanding of word adoption mechanics, enriching linguistic studies on loanwords and their impact on language evolution, particularly in Indonesian. The established formulas offer a structured perspective for further research in phonological adaptation and cross-linguistic influence.

Amin Mufidah, Muhimmatul Hasanah
Abstract: This research discusses the Economic Token Technique Method for Improving Student Discipline at Muhammadiyah Gresik Elementary School. The aim of this research is to determine the effectiveness of the economic token intervention… rvention model to help students be more disciplined during the teaching and learning process for grade 2 students at Muhammadiyah Elementary School. The method used in this research is a quantitative method. The problem in this research is that students have low disciplinary attitudes when in class and also during the teaching and learning process. This is because the subject is a person who is not comfortable studying and remaining silent in class for a long time. In this problem, to overcome this problem, behavior modification is carried out using the token economy technique. The subject used in this research was 1 boy from class 2 of SD Muhammadiyah Gresik who had a low disciplinary attitude. This research aims to determine the increase in student discipline by modifying behavior using the token economy technique. In the implementation, research subjects were given intervention or treatment in the form of rewards by sticking stickers for 21 days with pretest, intervention and posttest stages, then their disciplinary attitudes were observed and at the end of the session if the target behavior that was changed showed good changes then the subject would be given a reward according to the agreement at the beginning. where the prize is exchanged for the number of stickers obtained during the session. This can be seen from the pretest results, the significance value obtained was 10 and for the posttest results the significance value obtained was 13. Based on the gain score calculation, it showed that the subject experienced an increase of 3 scores from the pretest score of 10 to 13. During the posttest this showed an increase but it was not significant.

Strategi Komunikasi BP3MI dalam Meningkatkan Kesadaran Masyarakat tentang Hak-hak Pekerja Migran Indonesia

Beatania Jelina Ngamung, Alponia Kartini Nurhayati, Yunita Huberta Siska Henukh, Fransiskus Maurice Riberu, Lasarus Jehamat, Imelda Nahak, Helga Maria E. Gero
Abstract: Indonesian Migrant Workers constitute a labor group that makes a significant contribution to the national economy through remittances, particularly from regions with high migration intensity such as East Nusa Tenggara Province;… ovince; however, the strong public interest in working abroad is often not accompanied by adequate understanding of safe migration procedures, protection mechanisms, and the rights and obligations of migrant workers. This condition has led to serious problems, including the increasing number of non-procedural migrant workers, deportation cases, and vulnerability to human trafficking crimes, indicating an information and communication gap between migrant worker protection institutions and prospective migrant workers. This study aims to analyze the communication strategies implemented by the Indonesian Migrant Workers Protection Service Center of East Nusa Tenggara Province in enhancing public awareness of migrant workers’ rights. A qualitative approach with a descriptive method was employed to provide an in-depth portrayal of the communication practices carried out by the institution, with data collected through in-depth interviews, observation of socialization activities, and documentation studies. Data analysis was conducted using the interactive model of Miles and Huberman, while the conceptual analytical framework was based on the Shannon–Weaver Two-Way Communication Model to assess message delivery effectiveness, communication channels, message recipients, and feedback mechanisms. The findings indicate that the Indonesian Migrant Workers Protection Service Center of East Nusa Tenggara Province has implemented various communication strategies, including direct community outreach, pre-departure orientation, the use of visual and audio media, and cross-sector collaboration with local governments and community leaders. Although these strategies contribute to increasing public knowledge regarding migration procedures and migrant workers’ rights, their effectiveness remains constrained by low literacy levels, challenging geographical conditions, and weak feedback mechanisms from target communities. The study concludes that strengthening dialogic and participatory communication, simplifying messages to improve comprehensibility, and adapting communication media to local cultural contexts are essential for improving migrant worker protection. The novelty of this study lies in integrating a two-way communication model with the socio-cultural context of East Nusa Tenggara as a basis for formulating more contextual, adaptive, and community-empowering communication strategies for migrant worker protection.
