become victims of procedural errors in the justice system. Wrongful arrests constitute a violation of individual freedom and cause physical, psychological, and social suffering. This research employs a normative legal method, drawing on statutory and literature sources. The results show that victims of wrongful arrest are entitled to compensation and rehabilitation, as provided for in the Indonesian Criminal Procedure Code (KUHAP) and Law Number 48 of 2009 concerning Judicial Power. However, compensation provided is still limited to material aspects and has not fully restored the victims’ dignity, reputation, and well-being. Therefore, the state must strengthen legal protection mechanisms and ensure that investigations are conducted professionally, transparently, and in accordance with human rights principles to prevent the recurrence of wrongful arrest cases.

mportant equipment in a substation is a transformer, and the protection device used is a lightning rod. With its good characteristics, the arrester plays a role in bypassing lightning currents so that the equipment does not produce high overvoltages. The analysis results show that the maximum distance between the arrester and the transformer is 10.96 meters, while the installation distance in the field is 3.2 meters, so the arrester can still protect the transformer because it is still lower than the maximum distance. Allowed. After the arrester turns on for 9.54 μs, the voltage on the transformer will drop. And because the BIL of the transformer is 650 KV and the peak voltage reaches 751.3 kV at 300 μs, the arrester can still protect the transformer.

The findings of this research reveal that the principles of law enforcement and human rights, which include the principles of legality, necessity, and proportionality, are essentially general principles that can be used to determine whether state actions that interfere with citizens' rights and freedoms violate or do not violate human rights. The legal provisions concerning arrest and detention did not fit the human rights standpoint particularly in the context of procedure and the length of detention. The proportionality and the necessity principle have not been fully considered as the ethical basis for arresting the perpetrator of a crime. Hence, what is needed is to amend the Criminal Procedure Code considering the adoption of both necessity and proportionality principle in the arrest and detention.

In some cases, harsh legal crackdowns on narcotics have led to human rights violations, such as arbitrary arrest and detention, as well as the use of force by security forces. On the other hand, some countries have tried alternative approaches, including decriminalization or legalization of narcotics, with the aim of reducing the negative impact on individuals. This research uses a normative approach. The conclusion from this research is that it is important to maintain a balance between efforts to prevent and handle narcotics with protecting individual human rights. Effective implementation of narcotics policies must take into account the basic rights of individuals and seek to reduce negative social impacts. This research underlines the need for a holistic and sustainable approach in dealing with narcotics issues without compromising human rights
