ve interpersonal communication and barriers in adjustment of the new students; and there was a negative correlation between effective interpersonal communication and barriers in adjustment. The first added hypothesis was that there were differences barriers in adjustment between students group based on lesson selection no used non cognitive test and used non cognitive test. The second added hypothesized that there were differences of barriers in adjustment based on sex. The subjects were 64 students on several faculties in The Gadjah Mada University Yogyakarta; 31 males & 33 females; 34 no used non cognitive tests and 30 used non cognitive tests, academic period 2003/2004 S-1 regular. Two scales were applied to measure barriers in adjustment and effective interpersonal communication. The results of the study showed that there were negative correlations between effective interpersonal communication and barriers in adjustment (F - 1.040, p -; 0.002; p < 0.01). In the student’s group-based test selection, there were no differences barriers in adjustment between students group no used non cognitive test and students group used non cognitive test (F = 1.040, p = 0.322; p < 0.01). In the students group based on sex, there was no difference of barriers in adjustment between male and female (F = 1.040. p = 0.907; p < 0.01).
Abstract:Thalassemia is a blood disorder that is passed down genetically from parents to their children. The body cannot form normal red blood cells resulting in them being damaged easily and having a short life of less than 120…
days and anemia, requiring continuous blood transfusions to maintain hemoglobin levels in the body. A history of repeated blood transfusions can cause excess iron in the body which is characterized by an increase in serum ferritin levels which can cause damage to kidney function by looking at creatinine levels. The purpose of this study was to determine whether there is a relationship between ferritin and creatinine levels in children with thalassemia. This study used a quantitative method with a cross sectional approach. The sampling technique used in this study was the total sampling technique. The sample used was 12 samples. Data processing in this study used the Shapiro-Wilk Normality test and the Pearson Correlation test in bivariate analysis. The results of the analysis of this study indicate that there is no significant relationship between the ferritin and creatinine levels in children with thalassemia where the value of Sig. 0.212 > 0.05 (p> 0.05), and shows a significant negative correlation of -0.389. This study in thalassemia children had high ferrtin levels but creatinine levels were still within normal limits.
Abstract:The use of Artificial Intelligence (AI) technology to visualize the narrative of English-language short stories offers a novel approach to enriching the interpretive and aesthetic dimensions of storytelling. Utilizing BingImage.com…
ngImage.com as an AI-based image generator, textual narratives are transformed into prompts that create visual depictions of each scene. The visuals effectively reflect the mood, emotions, and settings of the story, albeit with some inconsistencies in character depictions across scenes. This exploratory approach examines correlations between narrative and visuals, scene continuity, and aesthetic accuracy. The findings indicate that AI-based visualization can create a more immersive reading experience, enhancing the reader's comprehension through relevant illustrations. This technology also provides creative interpretations that expand the artistic dimensions of short stories. Despite its potential, challenges such as maintaining visual consistency across scenes remain. These findings provide new insights into the integration of digital technology in literary transformation, paving the way for innovative future methodologies.
