The Effect of Social Support on Stress in Daughters-in-Law Living with In-Laws

Juniarti, Riska, Arsi, Qisthina, Sumarni, Novi
Abstract: Marriage often requires couples to make significant adjustments, including co-residing with in-laws. This study explores the relationship between social support and stress among 97 daughters-in-law living with their in-laws.… aws. Using purposive sampling, we adapted and modified measurement tools: Mayanti (2019) for social support (reliability coefficient: 0.952, 28 valid items) and Shabrina (2017) for stress (reliability coefficient: 0.926, 39 valid items). Regression analysis revealed a significant negative relationship between social support and stress (p = 0.000, β = -0.489). Social support accounted for 42.8% of stress variance, leaving 57.2% attributed to other factors. Findings indicate that high social support reduces stress levels, whereas low social support increases stress. Among respondents, 54.6% experienced high stress, while 45.4% reported low stress. This study emphasizes the critical role of social support in mitigating stress for daughters-in-law cohabiting with in-laws.

Shyfa N.C., Ratu, Sudiro, Amad
Abstract: The progression of time and advancements in technology and information have provided many benefits to human life. Technological advancement is evident in several fields, such as photography, cinematography, and design, which… hich fall under the scope of intellectual property, particularly copyright. However, technological and digital development has also brought several global impacts that transcend national borders. Indonesia's economy has largely relied on the tourism sector which has led to the growth of the creative industries that support this sector. Advertising, as a part of the creative industries, plays an important role in society. Various strategies have been applied to compete and to excel in the business category of communication and technology services to maintain competitiveness in the digital creative communication industry of an advertising agency in Indonesia. However, these developments have made uploading someone's work common. Subconsciously, easy and practical access to the virtual world can result in copyright infringement, in which the works uploaded on digital/online platforms can be misused by irresponsible parties for personal gain. The legal regulation for intellectual property rights in Indonesia, particularly copyright, is regulated under Law Number 28 of 2014 on Copyright. As specified in Article 40 Paragraph (1) of the Copyright Law, it addresses the creations protected under its regulations. However, with the changing times and technological advancements, there has been a blur in the norms of these regulations, which need adjustments.

The first added hypothesis was that there were differences barriers in adjustment between students group based on lesson selection no used non cognitive test and used non cognitive test. The second added hypothesized that there were differences of barriers in adjustment based on sex. The subjects were 64 students on several faculties in The Gadjah Mada University Yogyakarta; 31 males & 33 females; 34 no used non cognitive tests and 30 used non cognitive tests, academic period 2003/2004 S-1 regular. Two scales were applied to measure barriers in adjustment and effective interpersonal communication. The results of the study showed that there were negative correlations between effective interpersonal communication and barriers in adjustment (F - 1.040, p -; 0.002; p < 0.01). In the student’s group-based test selection, there were no differences barriers in adjustment between students group no used non cognitive test and students group used non cognitive test (F = 1.040, p = 0.322; p < 0.01). In the students group based on sex, there was no difference of barriers in adjustment between male and female (F = 1.040. p = 0.907; p < 0.01).

Determinants of The Indonesian Composite Stock Index: An Error Correction Model Approach

Febriani, Nindy, Wendy, Wendy
Abstract: This study examines the effects of the Dow Jones Industrial Average (DJIA), world gold prices, world oil prices, and the rupiah exchange rate on the Composite Stock Price Index (CSPI) in Indonesia. The study uses monthly… secondary data from January 2015 to December 2025, comprising 132 observations. CSPI data were obtained from the Indonesia Stock Exchange, DJIA, gold price, and oil price data were obtained from Investing.com, while exchange rate data were sourced from Bank Indonesia. The analysis employed the two-step Engle-Granger Error Correction Model (EG-ECM) to identify long-run relationships and short-run adjustment dynamics. The long-run results show that gold prices, world oil prices, and the DJIA have positive and significant effects on the CSPI, whereas the rupiah exchange rate has a negative but insignificant effect. In the short run, the exchange rate has a negative and significant effect on the CSPI, while gold prices, oil prices, and the DJIA have positive and significant effects. The Error Correction Term coefficient of -0.1325 is negative and significant, indicating that approximately 13.25% of short-run disequilibrium is corrected each month toward long-run equilibrium. These findings imply that investors and policymakers should closely monitor global market conditions, commodity price movements, and exchange rate volatility to support investment decisions and maintain Indonesian capital market stability

Indonesian Stock Market Reaction to the Escalation of the 2026 Iran Conflict: Evidence from an Event Study of Energy Sector Firms

Nidrah, Rika Kurniawati, Mufidatul Azmi
Abstract: This study examines the reaction of the Indonesian capital market to the escalation of the Iran conflict in 2026 using an event study approach focusing on energy sector firms listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange. Market… t reactions are measured using Average Abnormal Return (AAR) and Trading Volume Activity (TVA). The observation period includes an 11-day event window (t−5 to t+5) and a 100-day estimation period. Statistical tests employed include the Shapiro–Wilk normality test, one-sample t-test, paired sample t-test, and Wilcoxon Signed Rank Test. The findings indicate that abnormal returns are only significant around the event date but do not differ significantly between pre- and post-event periods. In contrast, trading volume activity shows consistent and significant changes. These results suggest that geopolitical conflict information is more strongly reflected in trading behavior than in price adjustments. This study contributes to the literature by providing sector-specific evidence from an emerging market and highlighting behavioral market responses.

PENDAMPINGAN DESAIN TATA LETAK GUDANG EFISIEN MENGGUNAKAN METODE ARC–ARD BERBASIS SIMULASI FLEXSIM DI PT MIKRON PRESISI INDONESIA

Raka Fahrezi Putrapriatna, Mariyadi, Budiyan, Inten Tejaasih
Abstract: This study aims to design the warehouse tata letak at PT MIKRON PRESISI INDONESIA that experiences post-relocation irregularities in production facilities, along with adjustments to the area area and available rental costs.… ts. The absence of a racking system and clear classification of goods has caused the storage, retrieval, and work safety processes to not run efficiently. The research approach uses a qualitative descriptive method by collecting data through field observations, interviews, and documentation. The tata letak design was carried out by implementing the Activity Relationship Chart (ARC) and Activity Relationship Diagram (ARD) methods, then tested through simulations using FlexSim software with two operator scenarios. The simulation results showed that the proposed alternative tata letak design was able to improve the workflow by grouping goods into seven categories and arranging shelves based on the level of proximity of activities. However, the utilization rate of operators is still relatively low, namely 17.65% and 19.78%, due to the periodic pattern of goods arrival and efficient search times due to a more structured storage system. These findings indicate opportunities for human resource optimization through reducing the number of operators or adjusting workloads. The resulting tata letak design makes a practical contribution to improving warehouse space efficiency and operations, and can be used as a reference for applications for companies with similar characteristics.

THE INFLUENCE OF HEDONISM ON THE APPLICATION OF THE DEEP LEARNING MODEL ON THE DEVELOPMENT OF EARLY ADULTHOOD IN STUDENTS

Paputungan, Frezy
Abstract: Development is a continuous process of qualitative change towards maturity, marked by increased organ function, cognitive, emotional, motoric, and behavioral abilities. Early adulthood is a period of human development from… om adolescence to adulthood. Early adulthood begins between the ages of 16 and 40. In the human lifespan, adulthood plays an important role as a phase in which individuals experience various changes and adjustments. In this developmental process, several possible behavioral changes are very influential, including hedonism. The view of hedonism is often associated with consumptive and hedonistic behavior. People who adhere to hedonism will always seek ways to obtain pleasure, whether material, physical, or spiritual pleasure. Related to the increasingly advanced world of education, various learning models are implemented as an effort to adapt to the times. One of them is the deep learning learning model, deep learning is a pedagogical approach that focuses on understanding substantial concepts in depth, not just the breadth of material, through meaningful, conscious, and enjoyable (holistic) learning experiences. This study aims to analyze how hedonism in the application of the deep learning learning model influences the development of students' early adulthood, using qualitative descriptive methods. The research results show a significant influence between hedonistic attitudes in the application of deep learning and early adulthood development, as seen through observations and interviews conducted directly during the learning process. One observation revealed that students appeared relaxed and enjoyed group assignments, as some paid to be relieved of responsibility for completing them.

Abstract: This study examines the application of Trello as an educational instrument in Social Studies (IPS) courses in junior high schools. Trello is a collaborative platform that facilitates project-based learning and the development… pment of contemporary skills. Although prior studies indicate that Trello enhances teamwork and student engagement in senior high schools, there remains a paucity of studies regarding its application among junior high school students. This study employed a qualitative case study methodology, using interviews and document analyses of social studies educators in Jakarta. The results showed that Teachers' successful use of Trello was hindered by inadequate knowledge, poor digital infrastructure, and difficulties integrating it into the curriculum. Still, teachers stayed open to the adjustments given direction and assistance. This study proposes enhancing teachers' digital literacy and offering continuous training as a preliminary measure to optimize the use of Trello in social studies education in junior high schools.

GUS DUR’S IDEAS IN INFLUENCING POSTCOLONIAL ISLAMIC NUSANTARA THOUGHT

Subekti, Fiqi Restu, Mutiullah
Abstract: The present article examines the influence of the thought of KH. Abdurrahman Wahid (Gus Dur) on the formation of postcolonial discourse in the context of Islam Nusantara. In the postcolonial context, the Islamic construction… tion of the Archipelago is inextricably linked to colonial epistemological legacies and the hegemony of external cultures, particularly Arabic. Gus Dur’s thought process can be understood as a deconstructive effort against the dichotomy between “pure” and “local” Islam that was created by colonial powers and puritan movements. It is evident that Gus Dur’s rejection of the uniformity of Arab culture as the sole representation of Islam was underpinned by a sharp critique of arabisation. As an alternative, he proffered the concept of Islamic pribumisation, defined as the adjustment of Islamic expression to local cultural values without sacrificing the substance of the teachings. Furthermore, Gus Dur placed significant emphasis on the necessity of contextualising Islamic teachings, emphasising the importance of re-evaluating Islamic values in accordance with the prevailing social and cultural dynamics of Indonesian society. It is asserted that an approach of this nature will engender the concepts of pluralism and tolerance, which will in turn serve as the primary foundations upon which religious life is to be constructed. The present study employs a qualitative approach, utilising critical discourse analysis of Gus Dur’s ideas and relevant supporting literature. The findings demonstrate that Gus Dur’s thought plays a significant role in formulating the paradigm of Islam Nusantara. This paradigm is characterised by its responsiveness to local realities, its transcendence of religious formalism, and its rehabilitation of cultural dignity as an integral part of Islamic expression. Consequently, the thought of Gus Dur constitutes a significant contribution to the development of a plural, humanist and contextual Islamic civilisation.
