APPLICATION OF Ananas comosus (L.) Merr. EXTRACT WITH LOCAL MICROORGANISMS FORMULATION Solanum lycopersicum (L.) AND Saccharum officinarum Linn. BAGASSE IN ORGANOSOL SOIL MEDIUM ON THE GROWTH OF Brassica oleracea (L.) Alboglabra Group PLANTS

Lubis, Erwin Junaidi, Sartika Pakpahan
Abstract: Organosol soil has a very high content, but has a low soil acidity (pH) (acidic). As well as the occurrence of very slow decomposition of organic matter. The treatment with Ananas comosus (L.) Merr. extract, which contains… ns bioactive compounds such as bromelain enzymes, organic acids, and simple sugars, can accelerate the decomposition of organic matter and support the activity of soil microorganisms. The Local Microorganisms (MoL) applied, such as Solanum lycopersicum (L.) and Saccharum officinarum Linn., contain various functional microbes such as Lactobacillus sp., Saccharomyces sp., and Azotobacter sp., which play a role in nitrogen fixation, phosphate solubilisation, and organic matter decomposition. Overall, the results of research and observations conducted on Organosol soil media treated with Ananas comosus (L.) Merr. extract with the addition of Local Microorganisms (MoL) Solanum lycopersicum (L.) and Saccharum officinarum Linn. has been proven to effectively improve the chemical properties and fertility of Organosol soil through its role in increasing microbial activity and accelerating the decomposition of organic matter. This indicates that innovations in the application of fruit and the role of local microorganisms have the potential to be developed as environmentally friendly technologies for sustainable soil management.

THE EFFECT OF FINANCIAL PERFORMANCE AND CORPORATE SOCIAL RESPONSIBILITY (CSR) ON THE VALUE OF CEMENT COMPANIES LISTED ON THE INDONESIA STOCK EXCHANGE (IDX) IN THE PERIOD 2020-2024

Rita J D Atarwaman, Kezia S Souhoka, Nailah Atmaranti Salim Huath, Devin Wacanno
Abstract: This study examines the effect of financial performance and Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) on firm value in cement companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) during the period 2020–2024. Financial performance… rformance is proxied by Return on Assets (ROA), while firm value is measured using Price to Book Value (PBV). CSR is measured through a disclosure index based on the Global Reporting Initiative (GRI) Standards using content analysis. This research employs a quantitative associative approach with secondary data obtained from annual reports and sustainability reports of seven cement companies. Multiple linear regression analysis is used to test the hypotheses. The results indicate that ROA has a positive and significant effect on firm value, suggesting that efficient asset utilization enhances market perception. CSR disclosure also shows a positive and significant effect on firm value, supporting the legitimacy theory that socially responsible practices strengthen corporate reputation and investor confidence. These findings highlight the importance of integrating financial performance and sustainability strategies to enhance firm value, particularly in capital-intensive and environmentally sensitive industries such as cement.

Matrona Patricia Malindir, Arry Widodo, Mahir Pradana
Abstract: This study examines consumer behavior towards sustainable products, specifically investigating the influence of environmental attitudes and green product attributes on green purchase intention among Tanimbar Ikat Weaving… consumers in Tanimbar Islands Regency. Employing a quantitative approach with Structural Equation Modeling-Partial Least Square (SEM-PLS) analysis through SmartPLS software, data were collected from 385 respondents selected via purposive sampling based on consumers who knew and had purchased Tanimbar woven products. The research tested direct relationships and moderating effects of premium price, education, and gender variables. Results revealed that environmental attitudes (β = 0.349; t = 5.306; p = 0.000) and green product attributes (β = 0.207; t = 3.014; p = 0.003) significantly and positively influence green purchase intention, with the model explaining 60.7% of the variance (R² = 0.607) and demonstrating strong predictive relevance (Q² = 0.539). However, the three moderating variables—premium price, education, and gender—did not significantly strengthen or weaken these relationships, indicating that environmental consciousness and product perception remain dominant factors regardless of demographic or economic considerations. These findings provide practical implications for traditional craft entrepreneurs in developing sustainability-based marketing strategies and empowering the local creative economy, while contributing to the sustainable development goals through cultural preservation and environmental conservation in Indonesia's eastern region.

POPULATION DYNAMICS AND THE CHALLENGES OF SUSTAINABLE DEVELOPMENT

Andi Jalal Al Afgan, Supriadi Torro
Abstract: This study aims to analyze population dynamics and the challenges of sustainable development in Indonesia from a social, economic, and environmental perspective. Population dynamics, including population growth, urbanization,… tion, internal migration, and changes in demographic structure, have become determining factors in the success of development. The method used is a qualitative approach with a literature review sourced from official documents, scientific journals, and reports from international institutions. The results show that rapid population growth and uncontrolled urbanization have led to spatial inequality, reduced green open space, pressure on public infrastructure, and increased environmental degradation. Furthermore, unpreparedness in spatial planning and weak integration of population data into development policies exacerbate socio-economic imbalances between regions. The shift in demographic structure toward a predominance of the productive age group presents the opportunity for a demographic bonus, but also the risk of a demographic burden if not balanced by improvements in the quality of human resources. This study emphasizes that successful sustainable development requires data-driven, gender-equitable, environmentally friendly, and participatory population policies. The integration of technologies such as Geographic Information Systems (GIS) and spatial analysis is a strategic step in realizing inclusive, adaptive, and sustainable development for future generations.

Salpidawati, Akbar, Moh Rifaldi
Abstract: This article analyzes Indonesia's communication strategy in the multilateral Coral Triangle Initiative on Coral Reefs, Fisheries, and Food Security (CTI-CFF) cooperation, focusing on strategic communication approaches and… d environmentally-based digital diplomacy. The CTI-CFF is a crucial platform for Indonesia to build its image as a maritime leader and protector of the region's environment. This research employs a literature review and exploratory content analysis of scientific literature, policy documents, and social media content from relevant institutions, such as the Ministry of Maritime Affairs and Fisheries (MMAF) and the CTI-CFF Regional Secretariat. The findings indicate that Indonesia utilizes the CTI-CFF not only as a policy cooperation instrument but also as a strategic communication medium that combines the framing of environmental and food security issues. The "healthy ocean = safe food" framing is a key narrative used to frame environmental issues within the context of national security. Furthermore, using social media as a digital diplomacy tool demonstrates Indonesia's efforts to expand the influence of environmental communication in a public and participatory manner. This study emphasizes the importance of strategic communication in ecologically based regional cooperation. It opens up opportunities for further research on the effectiveness of digital diplomacy and public engagement in national environmental campaigns.
