THE APPLICATION OF THE PAKISTANI TAHFIZH METHOD IN IMPROVING THE QUALITY OF MEMORIZATION OF STUDENTS AT THE UMMUL QURO' TAHFIZH BOARDING SCHOOL PALOPO CITY

Abstract: This thesis discusses the application of the Tahfizh Pakistani Method in improving the quality of memorization of students at the Ummul Quro' Tahfizh Boarding School in Palopo City. This study aims to determine how the process… rocess of implementing the Tahfizh Pakistani method and the results of its application to improve the quality of memorization of students. This study uses the Classroom Action Research (CAR) approach of the Kemmis and McTaggart model which consists of four stages: planning, action, observation, and reflection, which are carried out in two cycles. Data collection techniques use observation, documentation, and oral memorization tests. The results of the study showed that the application of the Tahfizh Pakistani method significantly improved the quality of students' memorization. Teacher activity increased from 77.88 % in cycle I to 90.38% in cycle II, while student activity increased from 73.68% to 93.42%. The results of the student memorization test showed that in cycle I, only 6 out of 11 students (54.5%) completed the process, with an average score of 12.18 (very good category ) , while in cycle II it increased to 9 students (81.8%) with an average score of 13.27 (very good category ) . Thus, the application of this method has been proven effective in improving the quality of students' memorization at the tahfizh boarding school.  

Pendidikan Kesehatan Diabetes Melitus Di Ruangan Mahoni Rumah Sakit Umum Daerah Pakuhaji

Abstract: Diabetes Melitus merupakan sebuah penyakit menahun yang berpotensi fatal, terjadi karena kurangnya produksi insulin oleh pankreas atau ketidakmampuan tubuh memanfaatkan insulin secara efektif untuk mengatur glukosa darah… (Kemenkes, 2018). World Health Organization (WHO) mencatat bahwa sebagian besar kasus DM berasal dari wilayah Asia Tenggara dan Pasifik Barat, menyumbang sekitar setengah dari total kasus DM di seluruh dunia (Riskesdas, 2018). International Diabetes Federation (IDF) melaporkan angka mencengangkan, dengan 537 juta orang dewasa (usia 20-79 tahun) menderita DM, dan 6,7 juta meninggal setiap tahunnya akibat penyakit ini. Tiongkok, India, dan Pakistan menjadi negara dengan prevalensi DM tertinggi, sedangkan Indonesia berada di peringkat kelima dengan jumlah penderita mencapai 19,47 juta, atau sekitar 10,6% dari total penduduk (Pahlevi, 2021). Riskesdas 2018 menunjukkan bahwa prevalensi DM di Indonesia meningkat dari 1,5% pada tahun 2013 menjadi 2% pada tahun 2018, dengan kategori usia penderita terbesar terletak pada rentang usia 55-64 tahun (6,3%) dan 65-74 tahun (6%). Perempuan memiliki prevalensi DM yang lebih tinggi (1,8%) dibandingkan dengan laki-laki (1,2%). Prevalensi di perkotaan mencapai 1,9%, sedangkan di perdesaan sebesar 1,0% (Riskesdas, 2018). Tujuan : tujuan dari laporan ini untuk menganalisa pengetahuan pasien dan keluarga pasien mengenai penyakit diabetes melitus serta kerutinan pasien penderita diabetes untuk mengontrol kadar gula darah dan mengonmumsi obat diabetes. Hasil : hasil dari kegiatan pendidikan kesehatan ini diharapkan pasien dan keluarga pasien dapat memahami dan mengenal mengenai penyakit diabetess melitus dan diharapkan dapat rutin mengontrol kadar gula darah.

The EFL Students’ Pragmatic Competence Level in Pakistan

Abstract: Second language teaching and learning has been grounded greatly on pragmatics. It has been a very important aspect of L2 learners. Majority of the existing literature on this subject matter has paid much attention to diverse… erse pedagogies in the teaching and learning of English and how to integrate pragmatics in the classroom teaching of the language. Experts in the teaching and learning of English as a second language have over the period proven that understanding the level of competence of students’ pragmatics in terms of Pakistan EFL learners is imperative for establishing curriculum in teaching pragmatic competence. This study therefore addresses this aspect and pushes the debate further for a deeper understanding. This research specifically seeks to examine the pragmatic competence level of Pakistan students L2 learners or speakers as well as the contribution of gender and the type of school regarding their competency level in pragmatic knowledge. As for institution type, the results show that there is a significant difference regarding implicate and speech acts. The situational routines do not prove any differences for school type.
