INTEGRATING AI-ASSISTANT (COPILOT) TO IMPROVE LEARNERS’ AUTONOMOUS LEARNING OF ACADEMIC ENGLISH TEXTS

Ardiansah, Dian
Abstract: Artificial intelligence (AI) integration in language education offers new opportunities to address challenges in English as a Foreign Language (EFL) contexts. This study examines the effectiveness of Copilot in enhancing… academic English literacy among Indonesian undergraduates. Using a quantitative quasi-experimental design with a pre-test and post-test control group, 60 students were divided into experimental and control groups. Instruments included comprehension tests, learner autonomy questionnaires, and rubric-based writing assessments. Results showed significant improvements in the experimental group. Academic text comprehension increased, particularly in vocabulary mastery (+12%), rhetorical structures (+15%), and recognition of formal registers (+10%). Copilot usage positively predicted learner autonomy, with gains in goal-setting (+14%), strategy selection (+11%), and self-evaluation (+13%). Writing performance also improved, especially in coherence (+13%), argumentation (+16%), and adherence to conventions (+12%). The findings confirm Copilot’s role as both corrective aid and developmental partner, fostering academic literacy and learner autonomy. Implications suggest integrating AI tools into EFL curricula to strengthen academic discourse and independent learning.

SMART RECOVERY: EDUKASI PENANGANAN CEDERA OLAHRAGA RINGAN BERBASIS DIGITAL BAGI GURU DAN SISWA SMP DI KABUPATEN BANYUMAS

Hidayat, Rohman, Febriani, Ayu Rizky, Kuat Leksono, Duaji Rahadyan Nursantiko, Septiana Dwi Rakhmawati
Abstract: Sports-related minor injuries are common occurrences in school-based physical education activities, yet literacy regarding appropriate first aid management remains limited among teachers and students. This community service… ice program aimed to improve knowledge, skills, and preparedness in managing minor sports injuries through a digital-based educational intervention entitled Smart Recovery. The program was implemented among junior high school (SMP) teachers and students in Banyumas Regency, Indonesia, using a participatory and technology-integrated approach. Activities consisted of program socialization, theoretical and practical training on minor injury management based on the RICE principle (Rest, Ice, Compression, Elevation), and the pilot implementation of the Smart Recovery digital application. Program effectiveness was evaluated using pre-test and post-test assessments, practical skill observations, and user feedback questionnaires. The results demonstrated a substantial improvement in participants’ knowledge, with average scores increasing from 62.4 to 88.6, and 95% of participants successfully performing the RICE procedures correctly after training. Furthermore, 92% of users reported that the digital application facilitated their understanding of injury management, while 87% perceived the platform as user-friendly and applicable for physical education learning. The integration of hands-on training and digital learning media proved effective in enhancing sports injury literacy, digital competence, and safety awareness in school settings. These findings indicate that the Smart Recovery program has strong potential as a sustainable and scalable model for promoting sports safety education within junior high schools. FORMULATING BUSINESS STRATEGY AND PROFITABILITY TO INCREASE COMPANY VALUE: AN ANALYSIS OF THE MEDIATING ROLE OF CORPORATE SOCIAL RESPONSIBILITY

Erlita, Arry Widodo, Putu Nina Madiawati
Abstract: This study aims to analyze the influence of business strategy and profitability on firm value, with Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) as a mediating variable at Bank BPD DIY. This study uses a quantitative causality… approach with a confirmatory nature, testing the extent to which the Resource-Based View (RBV) and Stakeholder Theory are confirmed in the context of the regional banking industry. Primary data were collected through a 1–5 Likert-scale questionnaire from all BPD DIY managers (census method, 163 respondents) who met the criteria of managerial position, minimum three years of service, and involvement in strategic policy. Data analysis was performed using Structural Equation Modeling-Partial Least Squares (SEM-PLS) with the assistance of SmartPLS. This involved testing the outer model (convergent validity, discriminant validity, reliability) and inner model (path coefficient, R², f², Q²) to assess the direct and indirect effects between variables. The variables studied included business strategy, profitability, CSR, and firm value, operationalized across several dimensions, including future orientation, operational efficiency, the social and environmental dimensions of CSR, and market value and corporate reputation. The instrument was independently developed based on theoretical synthesis (David & David, Houston, Teodorescu Ionescu, Carroll, and others), then validated through expert judgment before being tested for validity and reliability on pilot respondents. The results showed that business strategy had a positive effect on CSR and firm value, while profitability had a positive effect on CSR and firm value, aligning with the view that slack resources and a prospector strategy encourage stronger CSR activities and improved market perception. CSR was shown to have a positive effect on firm value and acted as a mediating variable in the relationships between business strategy and firm value and profitability and firm value. Thus, CSR implementation strengthens the transmission of the influence of strategy and financial performance on increasing firm value. These findings confirm that the integration of a sustainability-oriented business strategy, strong profitability performance, and consistent CSR implementation is a crucial combination for enhancing firm value in the regional banking sector.

Mhd. Ihsan, Indra Ramadona Harahap, Suparmadi
Abstract:           pemanfaatan teknologi kecerdasan buatan era 4.0  (Artificial Intelligence/AI) menjadi salah satu faktor yang menghambat peningkatan kualitas publikasi di Lembaga Paspama Institute.
