ts that are digested and absorbed by the digestive tract, then used for energy, the formation and repair of body tissues, and the regulation of biochemical and hormonal functions. The MMD was attended by 25 people, consisting of community members, health workers, lecturers, and students. Participants provided input on efforts to prevent infectious diseases, particularly stunting, which has been experienced by several residents. The educational activity took place on Saturday at 11:30 a.m. WIB, involving families with a history of stunting. This activity aimed to improve families' health care skills related to stunting prevention. Programs or interventions implemented to prevent stunting must carefully consider both input and process aspects to achieve optimal output and must involve all parties, from mothers of toddlers to cross-sectoral stakeholders
Abstract:This study examines how core marching band structures can be adapted for Indonesian early childhood education through developmentally appropriate practice and performance theory. The study responds to concerns that preschool…
hool marching band activities may reproduce discipline-oriented rehearsal models designed for older learners. A one-group pre-test and post-test mixed-methods design was used with twenty Indonesian preschool children aged four to five years. Over six weeks, children participated in twelve adapted marching band sessions that combined simplified rhythmic patterns, child-scaled instruments, neat but developmentally adjusted formations, cooperative music-making, visual-motor activities, and responsive teacher facilitation. Quantitative data were collected using a four-point developmental observation rubric covering rhythmic competence, motor coordination, and socio-emotional engagement. Qualitative data were obtained from teacher reflective journals and post-intervention interviews. Paired-sample analysis showed higher post-test scores across the three developmental domains. The largest observed improvement appeared in socio-emotional engagement, followed by rhythmic competence and motor coordination. However, because the study did not include a control group, the findings should be interpreted as developmental changes observed after participation rather than definitive causal effects of the intervention. Qualitative findings indicated that children participated more confidently when teachers simplified rhythmic tasks, used clear and neat formations with reduced technical pressure, provided child-scaled instruments, supported safe movement, and acted as co-players and emotional co-regulators. The study reconceptualizes marching band routines not as rigid disciplinary scripts, but as adaptable performative frames that may support social participation, emotional regulation, rhythmic learning, motor coordination, cooperation, and creative agency when aligned with children’s developmental readiness.

han adults, which makes them more susceptible to infections, as well as the risk of falls and injuries, so they require medical treatment in the hospital. Childern who undergoing treatment at the Puskesmas can cause anxiety for them because they must leave their familiar, safe, loving, and enjoyable home environment. Hospitalization is a planned medical procedure that requires care and treatment but can trigger anxiety in children, both mentally and physically. Anxiety will cause children to become uncooperative and difficult to cooperate with health workers. During this process, children may face traumatic experiences that cause stress. One of the efforts to reduce the level of anxiety is by implementing play therapy, one of which is the coloring play therapy technique. Objective: This research describes the application of coloring play therapy on anxiety levels in preschool-aged children at Padamara Health Center. Methods: This research used a case study research design method. Results: This research indicate that before the intervention score was 25 (moderate anxiety) and after the intervention score was 9 (no anxiety). Conclusion: Coloring play therapy can reduce anxiety levels in preschool-aged children undergoing treatment at Padamara Health Center.
Abstract:The decline in sleep quality among preschool children has become a significant concern due to its impact on physical health and cognitive development, one of which is influenced by excessive smartphone use. This study addresses…
dresses the research problem of whether there is a relationship between smartphone addiction and sleep quality in preschool children. The aim of this study is to analyze this relationship among children at PAUD Anggrek, Tamansari Village, Bondowoso Regency, in 2025. The research employed a quantitative approach with a cross-sectional design, involving the entire population of 30 parents as the sample using a total sampling technique. Data were collected through structured questionnaires and analyzed using the chi-square test at a 5% significance level. The results revealed a significance value of 0.000 < 0.05 and a calculated chi-square value of 22.502, which is greater than the chi-square table value of 3.481, indicating a significant relationship between smartphone addiction and sleep quality in preschool children. The findings conclude that higher levels of smartphone addiction are associated with poorer sleep quality in children. The novelty of this study lies in its focus on preschool children within early childhood education settings using a behavioral approach to technology use, which remains relatively underexplored in the local context. These findings provide important implications for parents and educators to regulate smartphone use in order to support optimal sleep quality in children.
Abstract:Abstract: This research aims to build a recommendation system that can help parents determine the best Pendidikan Anak Usia Dini (PAUD) using the ELECTRE (Elimination and Choice Translating Reality) method. The electre method…
ethod was chosen because of its ability to handle Multi-Criteria Decision Making (MCDM) problems, which allows evaluating alternatives based on various relevant criteria. This system is designed to identify and assess PAUD based on a number of important criteria, such as facilities, location, teacher-student ratio, curriculum, accreditation and reputation. Each criterion is given a weight according to its level of importance, which is determined based on parental preferences and applicable educational standards. Data is collected from various sources and processed using artificial intelligence techniques to ensure accuracy and relevance. The electre method is then used to evaluate and compare between PAUD. The research results show that the recommendation system developed is able to provide accurate and relevant PAUD recommendations, as well as increasing user satisfaction in the PAUD selection process. This research makes a significant contribution to the field of decision support systems and education, by showing the practical application of the electre method in determining the best PAUD. It is hoped that the results of this research can inspire the development of similar recommendation systems in other educational fields, as well as help in improving the quality of early childhood education through the use of advanced technology.

Abstract:This research examines the impact of gadget use on early childhood social interaction within the urban setting of XYZ Village, Surabaya, amid the growing prevalence of digital exposure among young children. Anchored in Vygotsky’s…
ygotsky’s Sociocultural Theory and the Socialisation Theory, the study evaluates how the duration and frequency of gadget use influence key social competencies, including verbal communication, cooperative behavior, and empathy in children aged 3 to 6 years. Employing a quantitative, cross-sectional design, the study collected data from 100 children using parent-administered questionnaires and direct observational methods, followed by analysis through multiple linear regression. The findings demonstrate that both the duration and frequency of gadget use exert a statistically significant influence on children’s social interaction (p < 0.05), accounting for 19% of the variance (R² = 0.190). The remaining variation is likely influenced by external variables such as parenting styles, digital content quality, and psychological factors. These outcomes underscore the importance of regulated gadget use, active parental involvement, and integrative educational practices that promote both digital literacy and interpersonal development.
