r that reason, this community service activity highlighted the impact of TOEFL preparation class on the non EFL learners’ achievement. One class was used as the sample of this activity in which it consisted of twenty students coming from different major in one of private universities in Palembang, southern region of sumatera. Descriptive analysis with experimental design was used. A test was administered to see whether or not there was a significant improvement on the non EFL learners’ TOEFL-like score achievement. The results revealed that achievement level of the participants were in the elementary and intermediate category. Besides, statistically there was a significant improvement on the EFL learners’ TOEFL-like score intervened by the provision of TOEFL preparation class. Thus, it could be further concluded that TOEFL preparation class was impactful on the non EFL undergaduates’ English achievement.

The purpose of this service is to increase the sales volume of Pakem Market traders through the implementation of e-commerce. The service team started counseling and assistance in introducing social media and the marketplace as one of the sales channels that could be utilized by traders. After that, the service team began to guide traders in creating good marketing content by implementing the AIDA concept (Awerness, Interest, Desire, Action). Then the marketing content will be used as sales content in making sales on social media and also in the marketplace. This counseling and assistance has been carried out online and offline. In practice, Pasar Pakem traders are directly involved in creating marketing content and immediately try to put it into practice. This service runs smoothly and the purpose of this service can be achieved because of the cooperation and participation of all parties.

Abstrak: Disrupsi ekonomi ini membuat pedagang konvensional mengalami penurunan omset karena kalah dengan pedagang online. Hal ini juga terjadi pada para pedagang di Pasar Pakem. Sebagian besar pedagang hanya berjualan dengan cara konvensional saja karena mereka tidak memiliki pengetahuan dalam hal jual beli secara online. Hal ini mengakibatkan omset pedagang yang semakin hari semakin mengalami penurunan. Tujuan dari pengabdian ini adalah meningkatkan volum penjualan pedagang Pasar Pakem melalui implementasi e-commerce. Tim pengabdi memulai penyuluhan dan pendampingan dalam mengenalkan sosial media dan marketplace sebagai salah satu saluran penjualan yang bisa dimanfaatkan oleh pedagang. Setelah itu tim pengabdi mulai membimbing para pedagang dalam pembuatan konten marketing yang baik dengan mengimplementasikan konsep AIDA (Awerness, Interest, Desire, Action). Konten marketing tersebut selanjutnya akan digunakan sebagai materi dalam melakukan penjualan di sosial media dan juga di marketplace. Penyuluhan dan pendampingan ini dilakukan secara online dan offline. Dalam pelaksanaannya pedagang Pasar Pakem secara langsung terlibat dalam pembuatan konten marketing dan langsung mencoba mempraktekkannya. Pengabdian ini berjalan dengan lancar dan tujuan pengabdian ini bisa tercapai karena kerjasama dan partisipasi dari semua pihak.

Based on field observations, many people do not know about biopore technology as an alternative in minimizing flooding and helping reduce the burden of organic waste originating from households. Abstrak : Kondisi pengelolaan sampah di Desa Senganan belum terkelola dengan baik. Sampah tersebut dapat menumpuk dan menyebabkan terjadinya pencemaran lingkungan. Salah satunya penumpukan sampah yang dapat menyebabkan bencana banjir. Kondisi wilayah Desa Senganan yang berada di dataran tinggi menyebabkan curah hujan yang tinggi di Kawasan tersebut. Untuk meminimalisir terjadinya banjir di Kawasan Desa Senganan, masyarakat harus mulai mengelola sampah yang mereka hasilkan dengan cara memilah sampah terlebih dahulu. Seperti sampah organik yang dapat diubah menjadi pupuk kompos yang berguna untuk menyuburkan tanaman. Tujuan umum pada kegiatan ini adalah untuk mengetahui cara menanggulangi penumpukan sampah organik di Desa Senganan, serta meminimalisir terjadinya bencana banjir. Metode kegiatan yang digunakan dalam pemecahan masalah tersebut adalah pemasangan lubang biopori. Berdasarkan observasi lapangan, banyak masyarakat yang belum mengetahui teknologi biopori sebagai alternatif dalam meminimalisir terjadinya banjir dan membantu mengurangi beban sampah organik yang berasal dari rumah tangga. Kami mengadakan sosialisasi terkait teknologi biopori dan langsung mengimplementasikannya di halaman kantor Desa Senganan.

Abstrak: Kajian ilmu dalam ilmu komputer adalah mengindentifikasi dengan akurat definisi, prosedure dan fungsionalitas. Pemahaman terminologi keakuratan digunakan dalam ilmu komputer secara mendasar untuk memahami masalah dan menemukan solusi yang dibangun dari masalah tersebut secara logis, terstruktus dan sistematis. Computational thinking (CT) pada dasarnya mendefinisikan abstrak secara tepat dan mengkover berbagai macam ketrampilan-ketrampilan dalam memahami masalah dan menentukan solusi yang tepat sesuai dengan kaidah komputasi dalam ilmu komputer. SMPN 1 Kalimanah merupakan sekolah dengan peringkat baik di wilayah kabupaten karena hampir setiap tahun selalu menempati rangking sepuluh besar pada indeks prestasi lulusannya. Kondisi siswa SMP N 1 Kalimanah sangat beragam latar belakang ekonomi, ada yang berasal dari keluarga pegawai, petani, buruh atau yang lainnya. Dengan beragam latar ekonomi yang ada, maka dalam masalah kepemilikan perangkat komputer juga sangat terbatas tidak semua memiliki komputer/atau perangkat mobile/smartphone. Metode penerapan dalam kegiatan pengabdian dilakukan dengan eksplorasi dengan memberikan pertanyaaan kemudian elaborasi dan konfirmasi yakni memberi pertanyaan-pertanyaan. Kegiatan dilakukan dengan memberikan pembelajaran pemrograman pada level tingkat menengah untuk memberi motivasi belajar secara logis dan sistematis, sehingga dengan pembelajaran berbasis komputer secara komputasi diharapkan memberi pengalaman belajar bagi siswa khususnya pengalaman pemrograman komputer, menjembatani pihak sekolah dalam menyeleksi siswa-siswa berprestasi dalam bidang pemrograman komputer.

This research paper provides a design solution for smart traffic light management (Smart Traffic Control System), based on object detection technology that uses deep learning to detect the number and type of vehicles. The number of vehicle is the basis for determining the green light timer automatically. The Smart Traffic Control System (STCS) is integrated with a web based geographic information system (smart map) that can display the current condition (picture, the number of vehicle, congestion level) of each STCS location. This integrated system has been tested on a traffic light prototype, using a mini computer and a miniature vehicle. This integrated system is able to detect 9 out of 12 vehicles, and able to send data regularly to the smart map.

Abstrak: Pengaturan lampu lalu lintas di Kota Pekanbaru masih dilakukan secara konvensional. Pekanbaru sebagai ibukota Provinsi Riau diprediksikan akan mengalami peningkatan jumlah penduduk perkotaan sebesar 54,5% pada tahun 2025. Dengan melihat predikisi ini, penting bagi kota Pekanbaru untuk segera memiliki tata kelola lalu lintas yang cerdas dan efisien agar kemacetan dapat ditanggulangi dengan cepat. Penelitian ini memberikan rancangan solusi untuk tata kelola lampu lalu lintas cerdas (Smart Traffic Control System), berbasis teknologi object detection yang menggunakan deep learning untuk mendeteksi jumlah dan jenis kendaraan. Jumlah kendaraan menjadi dasar penentuan timer lampu hijau secara otomatis. Smart Traffic Control System (STCS) terintegrasi dengan sistem informasi geografis berbasis web (smart map) yang secara kontinu menerima informasi kepadatan (gambar terkini, jumlah kendaraan, level kepadatan), kemudian menampilkannya diatas peta Kota Pekanbaru. Solusi sistem terintegrasi ini telah diujikan pada sebuah prototipe lampu lalu lintas, menggunakan komputer mini dan miniatur kendaraan. Sistem terintegrasi ini mampu mendeteksi 9 dari 12 kendaraan, dan mampu mengirimkan data secara berkala kepada smart map.

Aplikasi yang akan dirancang adalah sebuah aplikasi yang dapat mengirim Push Notification yang nantinya akan dapat dikembangkang di berbagai bidang sesuai dengan kebutuhan pengguna. Kurangnya pengetahuan dalam memberikan informasi secara real time, berakibat informasi yang tersampaikan tidak up-to-date, sehingga dalam berbagai situasi dan kondisi informasi yang diberikan telah usang. Push Notification salah satu layanan yang dapat menjawab masalah tersebut sehingga tidak ada lagi informasi yang terbaru tidak tersampaikan, dengan penggunaan layanan ini setiap terjadi update informasi maka akan langsung terkirim sebagai pesan notification, sehingga informasi yang terbaru tidak akan terlewatkan. Layanan Push Notification umumnya banyak diterapkan pada aplikasi mobile seperti Android dan IOS. Untuk penggunaan Sistem Operasi mobile terbesar berdasarkan statcounter untuk tahun 2012 sampai 2016 di Indonesia dikuasi oleh Sistem Operasi Android. Berbasarkan data tersebut pengembangan aplikasi Push Notification ini diterapkan pada Sistem Operasi Andoid sebagai pangsa pasar terbesar saat ini.

planatory design using secondary time-series data obtained from Statistics Indonesia (BPS) of East Kalimantan. Path analysis was applied through two structural equations using SPSS 21, complemented by the Sobel test to examine the mediating role of GRDP. The results show that population and investment each have a positive and significant direct effect on GRDP, and jointly explain 97.4% of its variation. GRDP, in turn, has a negative and significant effect on unemployment, accounting for 76.3% of its variation. The Sobel test confirms that GRDP significantly mediates the indirect effects of both population (Z = 2.295) and investment (Z = 2.628) on unemployment. These findings indicate that economic growth, as reflected in GRDP, acts as a strategic transmission channel converting demographic potential and capital accumulation into employment opportunities, thereby reducing unemployment in the region.

The study uses a quantitative, cross-sectional approach, collecting data from 200 employees in technology-based organizations and analyzing the data with Partial Least Squares Structural Equation Modeling (PLS-SEM). Results show that APA significantly enhances both procedural fairness and employee trust, with PPF playing a partial mediating role in this relationship. These findings underscore the importance of transparency, procedural legitimacy, and avenues for employee voice in cultivating trust in algorithmic systems. The study’s theoretical contribution lies in its integration of multiple perspectives on trust and fairness within algorithmic HR management. The practical implication calls for the careful design and implementation of APA systems that employees perceive as fair and trustworthy.
