THE IMPACT OF STRESS AND WORK MOTIVATION ON THE PERFORMANCE OF EMPLOYEES IN THE SIANTAR CITY MANPOWER DEPARTMENT

Abstract: Work stress and motivation are two factors that can influence the increase or decrease in employee performance. This study aims to determine and analyze the effect of work stress and work motivation on employee performance&#8230; ce at the Siantar City Manpower Office. The focus of the study is limited to two independent variables, namely work stress and work motivation, and one dependent variable, namely employee performance. The formulation of the problem raised is whether work stress and work motivation affect employee performance. The population in this study amounted to 58 people who were also used as samples. The approach used is quantitative, with data collection through questionnaires and using secondary data. The data analysis technique used is multiple linear regression, with hypothesis testing through the t-test (partial), F-test (simultaneous), and the Coefficient of Determination (R²). The results of the study show a regression model Y = 0.550 + 0.447X₁ + 0.398X₂, where X₁ is work stress and X₂ is work motivation. Partially, work stress has a significant effect on employee performance with a significance value of 0.001 (<0.05) and a t-count of 3.543 (> t-table 1.673). Work motivation also shows a partial significant effect with a significance value of 0.002 (<0.05) and a t-count of 3.225 (> t-table 1.673). Simultaneously, both variables have a significant effect on employee performance, with a significance value of 0.000 (<0.05) and an F-count of 34.156 (> F-table 3.17). The coefficient of determination (R²) of 0.554 indicates that 55.4% of the variation in employee performance is influenced by work stress and work motivation, while the remaining 44.6% is influenced by other factors outside this study. Thus, the relationship between work stress, work motivation, and employee performance is quite strong but not dominant.

THE EFFECT OF COMPENSATION AND WORK MOTIVATION ON THE PERFORMANCE OF EMPLOYEES IN THE LIBRARY AND ARCHIVES SERVICE OF KARO DISTRICT

Abstract: To get the best results from the existence of employees in the organization, it is necessary to define the right strategy, including thinking about how to manage employees so that they want to achieve the vision and mission&#8230; ion of the organization. set out, and to create work motivation to achieve high performance and loyalty to the work of employees. The aim of this study was to know whether compensation and motivation at work affect performance. This study is a quantitative study, with a sample of 35 employees, with the results concluding that pay and work motivation have a significant effect in part on performance, which is highlighted by table t counts > t, after the test results, it is concluded that salary and work motivation have a simultaneous effect, this is shown by the calculated value F > table F. Wage and motivation work also provides almost all the variance values ​​of the performance variable, i.e. 87.9%. Based on the research results, the author suggests that leaders should care or develop policies related to compensation or ways to motivate employees. can increase employee loyalty and work capacity so it has a positive impact on performance

THE INFLUENCE OF ORGANIZATIONAL CULTURE AND LEADERSHIP STYLE ON THE PERFORMANCE OF EMPLOYEES IN THE DEPARTMENT OF CULTURE, YOUTH, SPORTS AND TOURISM OF KARO DISTRICT

Abstract: The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of organizational culture and leadership style on employee performance in this type of research is a quantitative study using multiple linear regression methods. The&#8230; analysis used includes instrumental testing, classical hypothesis testing, and hypothesis testing. The result of this research is the value of Y = -6.784+0.672X1+0.633X2. In a sense, corporate culture has a significant impact on performance. From the t count > t in the table, namely 7,803 > 1,683, with sig 0.000 <0.05, it can be seen that leadership style has a significant effect on performance. 0.000<0.05. Organizational culture and leadership test scores affect performance simultaneously when Fcount > Ftable (62.090 > 4.08) of 0.000 <0.05. Based on the results of testing the coefficient of determinants of organizational culture and leadership style, the adjusted R-square value is 75.8%, meaning that organizational culture and leadership style contribute 75.8% to variations in performance. and other offers 24.2% influenced by other factors not examined in this study.

The population in this research is all employees of the Asei Indonesia insurance industry, agents in the research illustration area, totaling 71 people. The information analysis method used is descriptive analysis of respondents, descriptive analysis of variables, classical assumption experiments, multiple linear regression analysis and assumption experiments (t experiments, F experiments and determinant coefficient experiments). The results of the research processed with the SPSS type 23 program, based on the t experiment proved that motivation, activity discipline and the activity environment have a positive and jointly important effect on employee abilities, the adjusted R square number is 0.735 or 73.5%, which means Employee ability is influenced by motivation, activity discipline and activity area and more than 26.5% can be explained by other factors that were not examined in this research. compared to the results of the previous research of the Great God Kresna Valiant. 2017 the effect of communication, encouragement, sports environment on the happiness of employees' activities in the Denpasar city area proves that there is a positive and important effect on employee activity satisfaction. THE EFFECT OF GIVING REWARDS AND PUNISHMENTS ON EMPLOYEE PERFORMANCE AT THE MEDAN CITY CAPITAL INVESTMENT AND ONE-DOOR INTEGRATED SERVICES DEPARTMENT

Abstract: his study aims to determine "The Influence of Providing Rewards and Punishments on Employee Performance at the Investment Service and One-Stop Services in Medan City." with a total sample of 57 people. This study uses primary&#8230; imary data obtained by distributing questionnaires to employees who work at the Medan City Investment and One-Stop Services Office. Data analysis techniques used in this study were validity, reliability, classical assumption tests, multiple linear regression and hypothesis testing operated by SPSS ver 23 software. Partial testing of the effect of Rewards on Employee Performance obtained a t-count value of 3,243 > t- table 2,005 and has a significant value of 0.002 <0.04 it can be concluded that it has a positive and significant effect on employee performance. Based on the partial test results of the effect of Punishment on Employee Performance, the t-count value is 5,921 > t-table 2,005 and has a significant value of 0.000 <0.05. It can be concluded that Punishment has a positive and significant effect on Employee Performance. Based on the results of the F test count 56,161 > F table 3.17 and have a significant value of 0.000 <0.05 it can be concluded that simultaneously or together have a positive and significant effect on Reward and Punishment on Employee Performance at the Investment Service and One-Stop City Integrated Services Medan. The result of the coefficient of determination R2 is 0.663 or 66.3%, which means that employee performance is influenced by reward and punishment while the remaining 33.7% can be explained by other variables that were not examined in this study. So it can be concluded that Reward and Punishment have a positive influence or jointly on Employee Performance.

ORGANIZATIONAL COMMUNICATION CLIMATE IN IMPROVING THE PERFORMANCE OF EMPLOYEES OF THE REGIONAL DISASTER MANAGEMENT AGENCY (BPBD) OF KARO DISTRICT

Abstract: Poor communication is caused by a lack of communication , unclear task formulation, unclear responsibilities in units, which causes complicated procedures and work implementation, and employees are unaware of each other's&#8230; s cooperation. This condition will certainly lead to poor coordination and influence employee performance that is less than optimal. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of organizational communication climate on employee performance at the Karo Regency Regional Disaster Management Agency (BPBD) . This research used the methods of validity testing of research instruments, reliability testing of research instruments, classical assumption testing, descriptive statistical analysis, multiple linear regression analysis, and research hypothesis testing. Linear regression equation Y = 7, 429 + 7 74 X. The results of the t-test of Organizational Communication Climate (X) with the calculated t-value of the Organizational Climate variable is 1 8.378 and the t- table value is 1.70814 , so the calculated t-value > t -table (1 8.378 > 1.70814 ) and the sig value < 0.05 (0.000 <0.05) . The results of the R- square coefficient of determination are 932. This shows the understanding that the increase in the Performance of Karo Regency Regional Disaster Management Agency (BPBD) Employees is influenced by 93.2% by the Organizational Communication Climate while the remaining 6.8% is influenced by other factors outside this study such as personal factors, situational factors, leadership style and compensation.

LEADERSHIP COMMUNICATION STRATEGY IN IMPROVING WORK MOTIVATION OF MEDAN CITY CULTURE DEPARTMENT EMPLOYEES

Abstract: An appropriate leadership communication strategy should be able to increase employee work motivation. With a leadership communication strategy, a leader can motivate his subordinates to be enthusiastic, disciplined, caring,&#8230; ng, and responsible in carrying out their duties and functions. Where resources are not merely objects in achieving organizational goals, but also become subjects/agents of development. Leadership Communication that makes HR as planners, implementers and controllers who always play an active role in achieving organizational goals, and have thoughts, feelings and desires that can influence their attitudes in work. Conversely, the organization where they are sheltered is expected to provide rewards and awards fairly or objectively so that through these rewards ASN can be motivated to improve the quality and quantity of their work. This study aims to describe the form of leadership communication strategies, employee work motivation, and at the same time determine the effect of leadership communication strategies in increasing employee work motivation at the Medan City Cultural Office. The study used a descriptive qualitative approach and type of research through interviews and observations of informants to obtain research data. The results of the study indicate that the leadership communication strategy of the Cultural Office still needs to be improved in the area of clarity and even distribution of organizational messages that should be adjusted to its main duties and functions. Furthermore, it was found that intrinsic motivational factors, such as recognition, were the dominant factor in driving work motivation. Finally, it was found that the leadership communication strategy implemented influenced the increase or decrease in employee work motivation at the Medan City Cultural Service.

Abstract: This research aims to analyze public administration ethics in the implementation of work at the West Sumatra Province Social Service. Public administration ethics is an important aspect that influences the quality of public&#8230; lic services and public trust in the government. The method used in this research is a qualitative approach with data collection techniques through interviews, observation and documentation studies. The research results show that there are several challenges in implementing public administration ethics, such as a lack of employee understanding of the code of ethics, low transparency in decision making, and the practice of nepotism. However, there are also efforts made by the Social Service to improve work ethics, such as ethics training for employees and implementing a monitoring system. This research recommends the need to increase ethical awareness among employees and strengthen monitoring mechanisms to create a more ethical and transparent work environment.

Abstract: This study analyzes the factors that affect the level of work stress in employees in the manufacturing industry sector. This study uses a quantitative approach with data collected through questionnaires distributed to employees&#8230; ployees in several manufacturing companies. Regression analysis techniques are used to evaluate the impact of various factors on work stress. In addition, demographic characteristics such as age, education, and employment status also play an important role in determining stress levels. This study recommends the need for management policies that focus on reducing workload, improving work environment conditions, and providing employee welfare programs to reduce stress and improve employee welfare. These findings provide valuable insights for manufacturing companies in their efforts to create a healthier and more productive work environment.
