TTHE FULFILLMENT OF CHILDREN’S RIGHTS TO MAINTENANCE AFTER DIVORCE AT THE SIBUHUAN RELIGIOUS COURT

Junida Sari Hasibuan, Purmana Hidayah Harahap
Abstract: This study aims to analyze the effectiveness of fulfilling children’s rights to maintenance after divorce at the Sibuhuan Religious Court by examining the legal foundations, the implementation of court decisions, and the… he obstacles in their enforcement. This research employs a qualitative juridical-empirical approach through the analysis of statutory regulations, legal literature, and relevant court practices. The findings indicate that although fathers’ obligations to provide child maintenance are clearly regulated under both Islamic law and Indonesian positive law, their implementation in practice remains inadequate. The main obstacles include low legal awareness among the parties, economic constraints, weak mechanisms for monitoring the execution of court decisions, and institutional limitations within the Religious Court in ensuring continuous compliance. This study emphasizes that the effectiveness of child protection cannot rely solely on judicial rulings but requires strengthening institutional mechanisms, optimizing the role of mediation, and increasing public legal awareness. Therefore, fulfilling child maintenance rights after divorce should be positioned as an integral part of realizing substantive justice and protecting the best interests of the child.

Iqbal Zainul Muttaqin
Abstract: The development of digital platforms in the mental health sector has shown significant growth, along with increasing awareness among younger generations regarding the importance of self-reflection and psychological well-being.… being. One type of service with the potential to address these needs is digital journaling platforms. The study adopts a descriptive qualitative approach involving potential users from Generation Z aged 20–28 years. Data were collected through semi-structured interviews and open-ended surveys. The data were analyzed using thematic analysis to identify consumer insights, construct a conceptual customer journey, and formulate a value proposition as the foundation of the digital marketing strategy. The findings indicate that potential users perceive journaling as a tool for emotional regulation and self-reflection, yet still experience adoption barriers at the awareness stage. Based on these findings, pre-launch digital marketing strategies should focus on empathetic, simple, and emotionally driven communication to build contextual brand awareness.

REORIENTATION OF MUNAKAHAT FIQH LEARNING FROM A NORMATIVE-LEGALISTIC APPROACH TO MAQASHID SYARIAH-BASED REASONING AT AL ANSOR ISLAMIC BOARDING SCHOOL, PADANGSIDIMPUAN

Nur Sa’adah Harahap, Purnama Hidayah Harahap
Abstract: The teaching of fiqh munakahat in Islamic boarding schools is generally still dominated by a normative-legalistic approach, which emphasizes the determination of legal status, such as halal–haram or valid–invalid, based… sed on texts and the authority of classical books. This approach is important in preserving the scholarly tradition of fiqh, but in practice it often does not encourage students to understand the legal objectives and social implications of fiqh provisions. This study aims to analyze how the maqāṣid syariah reasoning approach can be applied in the teaching of fiqh munakahat and how this approach influences the students' way of thinking. This study uses a qualitative approach with a case study design conducted at the Al-Ansor Islamic Boarding School in Padangsidimpuan. Data were collected through observation of the learning process in the classroom, discussions with students, and reflections from teachers during the field study. The results of the study show a shift in the students' way of thinking from a textual understanding of the law to a more reflective understanding, taking into account the social context and objectives of sharia. This research contributes by offering a more contextual, reflective, and relevant model of fiqh munakahat learning for the challenges of contemporary Muslim family life.

PSYCHOLOGICAL MECHANISMS BEHIND THE ACCEPTANCE OF DEEPFAKE-BASED HUMOR AND DIGITAL HARASSMENT

Kurrota Aini, Vidya Nindhita, Hapsari Puspita Rini
Abstract: The objective of this study was to examine how deepfake-based humor becomes socially acceptable despite its potential to function as digital harassment. This study focused on psychological mechanisms that explain audience… e tolerance and normalization of harmful, identity-based humorous content in online environments. This study used a scoping review design to map and synthesize existing research across psychology, media studies, and cyberpsychology. The sources were identified through searches in major academic databases and were selected based on their relevance to deepfake technology, digital humor, online harassment, and psychological processes such as moral disengagement, online disinhibition, empathy reduction, and social norm reinforcement. The results indicate that acceptance of deepfake-based humor is commonly supported by four interrelated mechanisms, namely normalization through participatory digital culture, psychological distancing that weakens empathy, moral ambiguity created by humorous framing, and reduced accountability through diffusion of responsibility in online spaces. In addition, the literature conceptualizes deepfake humor as a hybrid phenomenon situated between remix-based entertainment and identity-targeting harm, shaped by platform visibility and engagement dynamics. This review highlights that deepfake-based humor may be tolerated not because it is harmless, but because it is routinely framed as “just a joke,” making its harm easier to minimize and socially overlook. Therefore, this study emphasizes the need for more direct empirical research and stronger interventions to prevent deepfake-based humor from becoming a normalized form of digital harassment in increasingly synthetic digital environments.

AN ANALYSIS OF THE MAIN CHARACTER’S SEARCH FOR IDENTITY IN TERE LIYE’S NOVEL SENDIRI: A JUNG PSYCHOANALYTIC PERSPECTIVE

Feryanti Kurnia Andi, Hari Windu Asrini
Abstract: This study examines the main character’s search for identity in Tere Liye’s novel Sendiri (2024) through the lens of Carl Gustav Jung’s psychoanalytic theory. The research addresses the lack of in-depth psychological analysis… al analysis regarding how the protagonist confronts inner conflict, loneliness, and past trauma in the process of identity formation. The study aims to describe the forms, strategies, and obstacles in the character’s identity quest, as well as to analyze the individuation process based on Jungian concepts such as persona, shadow, anima/animus, and the Self. A qualitative descriptive method was employed, utilizing close reading and thematic analysis of textual data from the novel. Findings reveal that the protagonist undergoes a complex, nonlinear psychological journey toward self-understanding, triggered by existential crisis and emotional isolation. Through deep introspection, symbolic interactions (particularly with natural elements like the moon), and confrontation with the shadow, the character gradually integrates fragmented aspects of the self. This study demonstrates that Jungian theory effectively uncovers the psychological depth of characters in contemporary Indonesian literature and affirms the relevance of literary fiction as a medium for reflecting on identity formation and emotional resilience in real life.
