Differences in Accounting Laboratory Learning Outcomes Based on Educational Background

Abstract: This research aims to find out how student learning outcomes differ in the Accounting Laboratory course based on previous educational background. The population in this sample is all 91 students who filled out the Googleform… form provided. The sample size was obtained using the Yamane formula for the two independent variables, namely SMK with 40 students and SMA with 20 students. The type of research in this research is quantitative comparative using the independent sample t-test analysis technique, with the test carried out being a difference test of one group of samples (pairs). The results of this research are that there is no statistically significant difference between the learning outcomes of students with vocational/MAK backgrounds and the learning outcomes of students with high school/MA backgrounds. Abstract: Human resource management (HRM) in the hospitality industry is a key element to achieving success and providing quality service to guests. HR management covers various aspects, including career planning, development, training,… ining, compensation, and performance appraisal. This research uses a qualitative approach in a descriptive research type to understand the important role of HR in the hospitality industry. Career planning and employee development help motivate and maintain employee morale, while ensuring placements that match their competencies and goals. Fair and sustainable compensation is an important factor in maintaining employee satisfaction and motivating them to perform. Performance appraisals help identify employees' strengths and weaknesses and provide the necessary feedback for improvement. In the competitive hospitality industry, effective HR management is the key to success in delivering superior service and achieving long-term business goals. This research provides insight into the importance of HR management in the hospitality industry in the digital era.

Pengaruh Pemanfaatan AI Sebagai Tutor Virtual Terhadap Self-Efficacy Mahasiswa Pada Mata Kuliah Analisis Real

Abstract: Perkembangan pesat teknologi Artificial Intelligence (AI) telah mengubah lanskap pendidikan tinggi secara signifikan, terutama dengan hadirnya tutor virtual berbasis AI yang mampu memberikan umpan balik cepat, tepat, dan&#8230; personal. Analisis Real merupakan salah satu mata kuliah yang paling menantang dalam program pendidikan matematika karena sifat abstraknya sering menyebabkan rendahnya self-efficacy mahasiswa. Penelitian ini bertujuan menganalisis pengaruh pemanfaatan AI sebagai tutor virtual terhadap self-efficacy mahasiswa Pendidikan Matematika Universitas Asahan yang menempuh mata kuliah Analisis Real. Penelitian menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan desain quasi-experimental one-group pretest-posttest, melibatkan 15 mahasiswa yang dipilih melalui purposive sampling. Instrumen angket self-efficacy dikembangkan berdasarkan tiga dimensi Bandura (magnitude, strength, generality), divalidasi melalui expert judgment dengan Cronbach’s Alpha sebesar 0,84. Hasil analisis deskriptif menunjukkan peningkatan rata-rata skor self-efficacy dari 65,67 (pre-test, kategori sedang) menjadi 79,93 (post-test, kategori tinggi), dengan peningkatan sebesar 21,7%. Uji Wilcoxon Signed-Rank Test menghasilkan nilai Z = −3,408 dengan p-value = 0,001 (p < 0,05), yang mengkonfirmasi terdapat perbedaan signifikan self-efficacy mahasiswa sebelum dan sesudah intervensi enam minggu menggunakan AI tutor virtual. The rapid development of Artificial Intelligence (AI) technology has significantly transformed higher education, particularly through AI-based virtual tutors capable of providing fast, precise, and personalized feedback. Real Analysis, one of the most challenging mathematics education courses, frequently causes low self-efficacy among students due to its abstract nature and demands for formal proof-writing. This study examines the effect of utilizing AI as a virtual tutor on self-efficacy of mathematics education students at Universitas Asahan. A quantitative quasi-experimental one-group pretest-posttest design was employed with 15 students selected via purposive sampling. The self-efficacy questionnaire was based on Bandura’s three dimensions: magnitude, strength, and generality, validated by expert judgment with Cronbach’s Alpha coefficient of 0.84. Descriptive analysis results showed an increase in mean self-efficacy scores from 65.67 (pre-test, moderate category) to 79.93 (post-test, high category), representing a 21.7% improvement. The Wilcoxon Signed-Rank Test yielded Z = −3.408 with p-value = 0.001 (p < 0.05), confirming a significant difference in student self-efficacy before and after the six-week AI virtual tutor intervention.

Sistem Penghitungan Jumlah Kendaraan Pada Area Parkir Menggunakan Background Subtraction Dan OpenCV

Abstract: Masalah pengelolaan parkir di Politeknik Jambi sering menyebabkan ketidakefisienan akibat sistem penghitungan manual yang rentan human error. Penelitian ini bertujuan merancang sistem penghitungan kendaraan otomatis berbasis&#8230; asis pengolahan citra digital. Metode yang digunakan adalah Background Subtraction dengan algoritma MOG2 dan OpenCV menggunakan video kamera smartphone. Sistem mengintegrasikan proses preprocessing citra, operasi morfologi, dan Euclidean Distance Tracker untuk melacak serta menghitung kendaraan secara real-time. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan sistem mampu membedakan kendaraan yang bergerak dengan objek statis secara akurat melalui Virtual Counting Line. Dengan beban komputasi yang ringan dan biaya rendah, sistem ini efektif menjadi solusi otomatisasi manajemen parkir di lingkungan kampus. Parking management issues at Politeknik Jambi often lead to inefficiencies due to manual counting systems prone to human error. This study aims to design an automatic vehicle counting system based on digital image processing. The method utilizes Background Subtraction with the MOG2 algorithm and OpenCV using smartphone video input. The system integrates image preprocessing, morphological operations, and Euclidean Distance Tracker to track and count vehicles in real-time. The results demonstrate that the system can accurately distinguish between moving vehicles and static objects via a Virtual Counting Line. With low computational requirements and cost-effectiveness, this system offers an efficient automation solution for campus parking management.

INTEGRATION OF THE QUIZIZZ PLATFORM IN THE EVALUATION OF ISLAMIC VALUE-BASED LEARNING IN ELEMENTARY SCHOOLS

Abstract: Digital transformation in elementary education demands technology integration that is not only oriented towards learning effectiveness but also towards strengthening character values. Learning evaluation, as a crucial part&#8230; rt of the educational process, needs to be designed adaptively without neglecting the internalization of Islamic values. This study aims to analyze and describe the integration of the Quizizz platform in evaluating Islamic value-based learning at SDN Palumbonsari I, East Karawang District. The study used a qualitative approach with a case study type. Data were collected through participatory observation, in-depth interviews, and documentation, then analyzed interactively through reduction, presentation, and drawing conclusions. The results show that the integration of Islamic values ​​was carried out systematically through three stages: evaluation planning by incorporating value indicators into learning tools, implementation of values ​​in question design and digital feedback, and post-evaluation reflection in class. Digital features were utilized not only to display scores but also to convey moral messages that support Islamic character formation. In practice, digital evaluation functions as a cognitive measurement instrument as well as a means of habituating values. The implications of this research confirm that the use of digital platforms in evaluation can be directed as a medium for internalizing values ​​if it is designed in a structured manner and supported by the teacher's pedagogical commitment.

PENINGKATAN MOTIVASI BELAJAR MATEMATIKA MELALUI MODEL COOPERATIVE LEARNING TIPE TEAMS GAMES TOURNAMENT (TGT) BERBANTUAN IFB PADA SISWA KELAS V SDN 04 SUNGAI ARO

Abstract: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui peningkatan motivasi belajar matematika melalui penerapan model Cooperative Learning tipe Teams Games Tournament (TGT) berbantuan Intelligent Feedback Board (IFB) pada siswa kelas&#8230; s V SDN 04 Sungai Aro. Metode penelitian menggunakan pendekatan kuasi-eksperimen dengan desain pretest-posttest control group. Sampel penelitian terdiri dari 30 siswa yang dibagi secara acak ke dalam kelompok eksperimen dan kontrol. Instrumen yang digunakan adalah angket motivasi belajar dan tes matematika. Hasil menunjukkan adanya peningkatan signifikan motivasi belajar matematika pada kelompok eksperimen setelah perlakuan TGT berbantuan IFB. Penerapan model ini terbukti efektif untuk meningkatkan motivasi belajar matematika siswa kelas V SD. SMART RECOVERY: EDUKASI PENANGANAN CEDERA OLAHRAGA RINGAN BERBASIS DIGITAL BAGI GURU DAN SISWA SMP DI KABUPATEN BANYUMAS

Abstract: Sports-related minor injuries are common occurrences in school-based physical education activities, yet literacy regarding appropriate first aid management remains limited among teachers and students. This community service&#8230; ice program aimed to improve knowledge, skills, and preparedness in managing minor sports injuries through a digital-based educational intervention entitled Smart Recovery. The program was implemented among junior high school (SMP) teachers and students in Banyumas Regency, Indonesia, using a participatory and technology-integrated approach. Activities consisted of program socialization, theoretical and practical training on minor injury management based on the RICE principle (Rest, Ice, Compression, Elevation), and the pilot implementation of the Smart Recovery digital application. Program effectiveness was evaluated using pre-test and post-test assessments, practical skill observations, and user feedback questionnaires. The results demonstrated a substantial improvement in participants’ knowledge, with average scores increasing from 62.4 to 88.6, and 95% of participants successfully performing the RICE procedures correctly after training. Furthermore, 92% of users reported that the digital application facilitated their understanding of injury management, while 87% perceived the platform as user-friendly and applicable for physical education learning. The integration of hands-on training and digital learning media proved effective in enhancing sports injury literacy, digital competence, and safety awareness in school settings. These findings indicate that the Smart Recovery program has strong potential as a sustainable and scalable model for promoting sports safety education within junior high schools. The PENERAPAN DLMS DAN EQUALIZER PADA AUDIO SOUND SYSTEM MASJID UNTUK MENINGKATKAN KUALITAS IBADAH JEMAAH MASJID BAITUL MUTTAQIN PISANGAN BONTANG

Abstract: Audio feedback atau biasa di kenal dengan dengung, baik pada frekuensi rendah maupun pada frekuensi tinggi merupakan permasalahan serius pada tata suara di masjid. Audio feedback  yang terjadi di masjid dapat mengganggu&#8230; kekhusu’an jemaah saat sholat 5 waktu. Program Kemitraan Masyarakat (PKM) ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan kualitas ibadah jamaah  Masjid Baitul Muttaqin Pisangan terutama sholat 5 waktu, melalui penerapan Digital Loudspeaker Management System (DLMS) dan equalizer 31 kanal sebagai kontrol speaker monitor Imam. Peralatan ini digunakan untuk mengatasi masalah audio feedback, menjaga kestabilan level output dari audio mixer, dan meningkatkan kejernihan suara pada speaker utama maupun speaker monitor imam. Dalam implementasinya, fitur-fitur seperti digital equalizer, compressor, limiter, dan crossover pada DLMS dimanfaatkan secara optimal. Setting equalizer dilakukan mengikuti panduan vocal equalizer cheat sheet guna mengurangi frekuensi penyebab feedback. Dari hasil setting perangkat DLMS dan Equalizer di dapatkan hasil di masjid, audio feedback/ dengung sudah tidak terjadi lagi. Hal ini menyebabkan jemaah masjid yang sholat 5 waktu sudah tidak terganggu dengan suara dengung atau audio feedback. Hal ini meningkatkan kualitas ibadah jamaah masjid Baitul Muttaqin Pisangan.    

MANAJEMEN VISUAL DISCOURSE PADA BISNIS INDUSTRI EKONOMI KREATIF UMKM DESA SUKAJADI KEC. LEMAHSUGIH KAB. MAJALENGKA

Abstract: The seminar titled Visual Discourse in Marketing UMKM Products held in Sukajadi Village, Lemahsugih District, aimed to enhance local entrepreneurs’ understanding of visual communication strategies in product marketing. This&#8230; This initiative responded to the limited use of visual elements such as packaging design, symbols, and graphic narratives that reflect local identity and influence consumer perception. Through a participatory approach, participants were introduced to the basics of visual discourse, practiced culturally rooted design techniques, and simulated digital promotional content. Monitoring was conducted through direct observation and feedback, while evaluation involved pre-tests, post-tests, and analysis of participants’ design outputs. Results showed a significant improvement in visual literacy and readiness to redesign product packaging more effectively. The seminar laid a foundation for building a creative and context-sensitive UMKM ecosystem, where visual elements serve as key tools to strengthen product identity, cultural relevance, and market competitiveness.

APPLICATION OF THINK PAIR SHARE (TPS) LEARNING MODEL TO IMPROVE STUDENTS' LEARNING INTEREST IN MATHEMATICS SUBJECTS IN GRADE V AT SDN 001/IX SENGETI

Abstract: The background of the research is that students tend to be passive and afraid, and boring so that there is a lack of interest in learning students. The study aims to apply the Think Pair Share (TPS) model to improve students'&#8230; ents' interest in learning Mathematics in class V of Elementary School 001/IX Sengeti. The type of research is Classroom Action Research. The Action Model consists of 4 stages, namely planning, action, observation and reflection. The study was conducted in 2 cycles, cycle I as many as 2 meetings and cycle II was conducted in 2 meetings. Data collection in the form of teacher and student observation sheets and questionnaires. The results of the analysis of teacher observations in cycle I obtained a score of 72.05% and cycle II 90.43% in the very high category. While the results of the analysis of student observations in cycle I obtained a score of 72.5% and cycle II 90% in the very high category. Then the results of the analysis of student questionnaires obtained a score of 90% in the very high category. It can be concluded that the application of the Think Pair Share learning model can improve students' interest in learning
