surance in Indonesia. This study uses a quantitative method with a descriptive relationship approach. Determination of the sample in this study was carried out by calculating using the Bernoulli formula, with a total of 384 respondents. The data analysis technique used is the Structural Equation Model - Partial Least Square (SEM-PLS). The results of the study show that financial literacy (X1) and product quality (X2) do not have a significant effect on buying interest (Y) where the p-values of both variables are <0.05. Other findings also state that Gender (Z) does not significantly moderate financial literacy and product quality. The conclusion of this study is that the factors that make generation Z interested in buying insurance products are influenced by their perceptions of financial literacy and product quality. More specifically, the perception of product quality factors has a significant and positive influence on generation Z's interest in buying life insurance products in Indonesia. The findings show that of the two variables, product quality can be the strongest predictor in predicting generation Z's interest in purchasing life insurance products. Financial literacy cannot significantly predict generation Z's interest in purchasing insurance products.

Abstract:The paradigm shift in science education necessitates the development of critical thinking skills as a foundation for improving students’ problem-solving abilities; however, empirical conditions indicate that both competencies…
tencies remain low and have not been optimally developed. This study aims to examine the relationship between critical thinking skills and problem-solving abilities among eighth-grade students of SMP Negeri 2 Serui and to determine the degree of their empirical association. The study employed a quantitative approach with a correlational design, utilizing essay-based test instruments analyzed through simple linear regression. The findings reveal that students’ critical thinking and problem-solving abilities are in the low to moderate categories, with mean scores of 14.56 and 28.72, respectively. The linearity test indicates a significant relationship, while regression analysis produces the equation Y = 21.682 + 0.484X with a significance value of 0.009. The correlation coefficient of 0.487 indicates a moderate positive relationship, and the coefficient of determination of 23.7% shows that critical thinking contributes to problem-solving ability. The results confirm that improvements in critical thinking skills directly influence the enhancement of students’ problem-solving abilities, although other factors also contribute. The novelty of this study lies in the presentation of a quantitative relationship model that remains significant despite non-normally distributed data, as well as in establishing critical thinking as a significant yet partial predictor of problem-solving, thereby providing a foundation for developing more structured, contextual, and higher-order thinking-based instructional strategies.
Abstract:Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease (COPD) is a progressive chronic respiratory disease that has become a global health concern due to its high morbidity and mortality rates and its impact on patients’ quality of life.…
e. In acute exacerbation conditions, impaired oxygenation becomes a major problem that may be influenced by various factors, including hemoglobin levels as the primary component of oxygen transport in the blood. However, the relationship between hemoglobin levels and oxygen saturation in patients with acute exacerbation COPD remains inconsistent, particularly in populations exposed to high environmental risk factors. This study aimed to determine the relationship between hemoglobin levels and oxygen saturation in patients with acute exacerbation COPD hospitalized at RSUD dr. Suhatman MARS Dumai, Kota Dumai. This research employed an analytic observational design with a cross-sectional approach involving 73 patients selected through total sampling based on medical record data. Bivariate analysis using the Spearman correlation test showed no significant relationship between hemoglobin levels and oxygen saturation (r = 0.098; p = 0.412), indicating a very weak and statistically insignificant correlation. The study concluded that hemoglobin levels do not directly influence the oxygenation status of patients with acute exacerbation COPD, where impaired oxygenation is more strongly affected by respiratory factors such as ventilation-perfusion imbalance and structural lung damage. The novelty of this study lies in its empirical evidence demonstrating the limited role of hemoglobin as a predictor of oxygenation in patients with acute exacerbation COPD within a population with specific environmental characteristics, thereby providing a basis for developing more comprehensive clinical approaches in monitoring and managing COPD patients.

an early screening model employing machine learning techniques, specifically the random forest algorithm, on a dataset of 268 students (aged 17-29 years; consisting of 98 males and 170 females) within a multicultural educational setting. The principal challenges associated with this dataset are class imbalance and the potential for data leakage from clinical scores. This study implements a rigorous feature selection approach that involves the elimination of depression score features and the utilization of the Synthetic Minority Over-sampling Technique (SMOTE) to balance the training data distribution. Furthermore, a Threshold Tuning strategy is employed to prioritize detection sensitivity (Recall). The findings indicate that reducing the decision threshold to an optimal value of 0.25 led to a substantial enhancement in the recall value, increasing it from 36% (baseline) to 77%. A feature importance analysis was conducted, the results of which indicated that Total Social Connectedness (ToSC) is the most dominant predictor. In summary, the present study corroborates the notion that optimizing sensitivity through threshold tuning is of paramount importance for medical screening. Furthermore, social isolation factors emerge as more significant indicators of depression risk than demographic attributes.

Abstract:Abstract: Accurate forecasts of tea harvest production are important for workforce planning, factory operations, and marketing decisions, yet conventional estimation in plantations often relies on field experience and can…
n be biased and less adaptive to changing conditions. This study aims to develop a Random Forest Regression model to predict tea harvest production at the Bah Butong tea plantation using historical operational and climate-related data. The dataset consists of 60 monthly records (2020–2024) with six predictor variables: rainfall (mm), number of rainy days, pest level, weed level, number of harvested trees and land area. Data were split into 80% training (48 samples) and 20% testing (12 samples). Model hyperparameters were optimized using RandomizedSearchCV with RepeatedKFold cross-validation (5 folds, 3 repeats). The tuned model achieved MSE of 668,980,524.45, RMSE of 25,864.66 kg, MAE of 19,838.69 kg, and MAPE of 7.59% on the test set. The results indicate that the model can provide practical production estimates, with errors averaging about 7–8% of the actual production. Feature importance analysis shows that the number of harvested tea bushes and cultivated area contribute most to predictions. Future work should extend the historical period and incorporate time-based features (seasonality/lag) for improved forecasting.
