This study aims to identify key systemic risk factors of medical emergencies related to sunnah cupping and propose an integrative framework combining Islamic jurisprudence (fiqh) with modern clinical standards. A qualitative descriptive approach was employed using a systematic literature review of peer-reviewed journals, clinical reports, Islamic texts, and contemporary fatwas. Thematic analysis revealed five major risk categories: lack of medical screening, unlicensed practitioners, hidden comorbidities, absence of emergency protocols, and poor understanding of medical safety. Reported complications included hypovolemic shock, infections, and prolonged wound healing—especially in patients with undiagnosed diabetes or coagulation disorders. The study also found that public misconceptions equating religious merit with clinical safety further worsen these risks. The research highlights the urgent need for standardized medical and sharia-based training, certification systems, and public education. Collaboration among healthcare professionals, Islamic scholars, and educational institutions is essential to establish a safe, accountable, and spiritually valid model of sunnah cupping. Integrating medical protocols with fiqh compliance can significantly reduce emergency incidents, enhance practitioner competency, and preserve the prophetic nature of the practice within a modern health framework. These findings offer a strategic path for safer implementation of prophetic medicine across Muslim communities.

A descriptive-qualitative approach was used, based on a systematic review of scientific publications from 2010 to 2024 obtained from databases such as PubMed, ScienceDirect, and Google Scholar. The results revealed seven major types of complications in cupping practice: infections (local to systemic), severe bleeding and hematoma, vasovagal and hypovolemic shock, allergic reactions, burns (in fire cupping), neurological responses (epilepsy), and dissociative psychological responses (possession). These complications are primarily caused by the lack of medical screening, limited practitioner training, and absence of emergency handling protocols. The study emphasizes the urgency of integrating Islamic ethical values with emergency medical standards in cupping practice. It recommends enhancing public education, practitioner certification, and clinical regulations to ensure patient safety.

The findings reveal that an incision depth of 0.5 mm to 1 mm in the dermis layer not only avoids damage to the deeper hypodermis but is also sufficient for the effective extraction of stagnant blood. This very light incision provides advantages in enhancing blood circulation and facilitating the extraction of stagnant blood necessary in cupping therapy. This approach, involving extremely light incisions, cannot be considered invasive and is highly suitable for enhancing therapy efficacy without compromising patient safety. Further discussion in the study highlights that with the correct incision technique, cupping therapy can become safer and more effective, encouraging significant improvements in immune response and tissue regeneration. The conclusion of this study underscores the importance of standardizing procedures and adequate training for cupping practitioners to ensure safe and effective practices. Further research is recommended to strengthen the evidence related to the effectiveness and safety of cupping therapy and to develop more detailed standard protocols.

o its vulnerability to wave-induced beach damage. To simulate wave conditions, a wave generator was designed using a 12-volt DC motor integrated into an acrylic wave bath. This research analyses the effectiveness of three types of coastal safety structures: reflectors, sea walls and sloping sea walls. Laboratory experiments measured the wave overflow volume for each type of structure under controlled conditions. The results showed that reflector-type structures achieved the highest efficiency in mitigating wave overtopping, with an average minimum overtopping value of 0.006 m³/ms. The findings emphasise the importance of selecting and designing appropriate coastal protection measures to minimise coastal erosion, protect coastal infrastructure and reduce risks to surrounding settlements. This study contributes valuable insights into the role of engineered structures in enhancing coastal resilience, especially for areas vulnerable to high wave energy.

from marine sponges of the genus Aaptos, have demonstrated potential as drug candidates; however, studies evaluating their drug-likeness, Absorption, Distribution, Metabolism, and Excretion (ADME) properties, and toxicity profiles remain limited. This study aimed to prioritize aaptamine, demethyl(oxy)aaptamine, and isoaaptamine as potential antibacterial candidates through SwissADME and ProTox-II analyses using an in silico approach. The results demonstrated that all three compounds satisfied the Lipinski's Rule of Five criteria for drug-likeness, exhibited high gastrointestinal absorption, and achieved a bioavailability score of 0.55. All compounds were predicted to belong to toxicity class 4, with predicted LD₅₀ values of 1300 mg/kg for aaptamine, 500 mg/kg for demethyl(oxy)aaptamine, and 1350 mg/kg for isoaaptamine, while none showed hepatotoxic or cytotoxic properties. The integrated analysis indicated that isoaaptamine exhibited the most balanced drug-likeness, ADME profile, and safety characteristics, making it the highest-priority antibacterial candidate. This study concludes that the integration of SwissADME and ProTox-II provides an effective preliminary approach for screening marine natural product-derived drug candidates. The novelty of this study lies in the integrated application of drug-likeness, ADME, and toxicity analyses to systematically prioritize three aaptamine derivatives, thereby providing a more comprehensive lead compound selection strategy for antibacterial drug discovery.

enAI as an adaptive learning medium, its effect on improving digital literacy, and Information Systems students' perceptions of its use. This research employed a quantitative approach using a pre-experimental method with a one-group pre-test and post-test design. The results showed that the average digital literacy score increased from 68.8 to 85.0, representing an improvement of 16.2 points after the implementation of GenAI. The highest improvement was found in the Digital Safety and Ethics dimension with 19 points, followed by Digital Content Creation with 17 points, Information Literacy and Digital Technology Utilization with 16 points each, and Digital Communication and Collaboration with 13 points. The paired sample t-test produced a t-value of 8.45 with a significance level of 0.000, indicating that the implementation of GenAI had a statistically significant effect on improving students' digital literacy. The students also expressed positive perceptions of GenAI because it facilitated their understanding of learning materials, increased learning motivation, and supported more effective completion of academic tasks. This study concludes that GenAI is an effective adaptive learning medium for improving students' digital literacy. The novelty of this study lies in the development of a GenAI implementation model that integrates adaptive learning with the five dimensions of digital literacy among Information Systems students in a comprehensive manner.

This study aims to analyze the electrical installation condition of SDN 002 Bontang Utara through the evaluation of lighting systems, power requirements, conductors, protection systems, and air conditioning based on PUIL 2011 standards and DIALux simulation. The study employed a field research method with a quantitative descriptive approach through observation, technical measurements, documentation, and lighting simulation analysis. The findings indicate that the school’s electrical installation still exhibits several discrepancies with actual technical requirements, particularly regarding the number and capacity of lamps, air conditioner capacity, and electrical power demand. DIALux simulation revealed that several rooms have not yet met the required lighting standards, while power analysis demonstrated that the actual demand of 25,794 VA exceeds the installed capacity of 22,188.8 VA, thereby necessitating adjustments to the protection and conductor systems to enhance installation safety and efficiency. The study concludes that the electrical installation of SDN 002 Bontang Utara requires improvements in lighting, cooling systems, power capacity, and electrical protection. The novelty of this research lies in its integrated evaluation of elementary school electrical installations through field analysis, PUIL 2011 technical calculations, and DIALux simulations across rooms with diverse functions, thereby producing more comprehensive and applicable recommendations.

The research approach involved field surveys to obtain empirical data, measurements of lighting intensity, calculations of the required number of lighting points according to the function and characteristics of each room, as well as technical analysis of installation components, including conductors and protection systems. All observed data were compared with theoretical calculations to identify the level of conformity as well as potential deviations that could cause problems. The findings indicate that although the electrical installation remains operational, there are significant discrepancies, particularly in the distribution of lighting intensity, the number of lighting points, and the selection and placement of protective components that do not fully meet the standards. These discrepancies affect the optimality of lighting, reduce user comfort, and present potential safety risks. Therefore, this study recommends adjustments to the installation design, prioritizing the optimization of the lighting system, the use of standard-compliant components, and the implementation of energy efficiency principles as part of a comprehensive improvement effort. The implications of these findings highlight that regular evaluations and updates of electrical installations in educational buildings are essential to create a safe, comfortable, and productive learning environment. Thus, the results of this research not only provide practical contributions for school management but also offer a scientific basis for developing technical standards of electrical installations that are more responsive to educational needs.

ademic, social, and mobility activities of the academic community, which heavily depends on pedestrian facilities. Field observations reveal several key issues with the pedestrian facilities in this area, including the sidewalk width not meeting the minimum standard, lack of accessibility features for people with disabilities, absence of vegetation or shade, and insufficient signage and road markings to guide users. These conditions result in discomfort and insecurity for pedestrians, as well as failing to support the principles of inclusivity in infrastructure planning. The research employs a descriptive qualitative and quantitative approach with a case study method. Data were collected through field observations, questionnaires, interviews, and literature reviews. Based on the analysis, the majority of respondents expressed the need for improvements to the sidewalk quality, addition of shade trees, enhanced accessibility for people with disabilities, and the installation of supporting facilities such as street lighting. The study then recommends several improvement measures, such as widening the sidewalks to at least 1.5 meters, providing ramps and Guiding blocks, planting vegetation along the pedestrian routes, and installing road signs and markings. These recommendations aim to improve pedestrian comfort and safety. It is hoped that the results of this study can serve as a reference for Muhammadiyah University of Bengkulu in creating a campus area that is more friendly, safe, comfortable, and inclusive for all users, while also supporting sustainable mobility.
