Sumali, Kurnia Ismi Sholihati, Muhammad Fida Ikhsanul Fikri, Adam Maulana, Erwin Susiani, Muqorrobin, Fanny Hendro Aryo Putro

Understanding Accounting Practices in Culinary MSMEs In The Tanjung Bunga Metro Area, Makassar City

Saleh, Andi Mulia, Alimuddin, Said, Darwis
Abstract: The focus of research shifts from the dominance of positivism to a non-positivistic approach that places meaning, interpretation, and social construction at the center of analysis. One of the main approaches within this… paradigm is Grounded Theory Research (GTR), a qualitative method developed by Glaser and Strauss (1967) to build empirically data-based theory through a rigorous inductive process. In the accounting context, GTR becomes increasingly relevant because reporting practices, accountability, and financial decision-making cannot be understood solely through objective measurements, but rather through social interactions, organizational values, and the interpretations of the actors involved (Ahrens & Chapman, 2006). This article aims to examine the role and relevance of GTR in modern accounting research by highlighting its philosophical foundations, methodological procedures, and contributions to the development of practice-based accounting theory. Through a systematic literature review, it is found that GTR has the ability to uncover the social dynamics that shape accounting practices such as accountability, ethics, managerial control, and institutional legitimacy that have previously been overlooked by positivistic approaches (Charmaz, 2006; Bryant & Charmaz, 2007). GTR has also proven relevant in the context of changing reporting systems, accounting digitalization, and the integration of sustainability principles such as ESG, where meaning, professional identity, and interpretive processes are dominant elements (Adams & Larrinaga, 2019). The study's findings confirm that GTR not only offers a systematic method for data collection and analysis, but also provides a more reflective, context-sensitive epistemological framework capable of generating substantive theory that is truly rooted in organizational reality. Thus, GTR is a powerful methodological alternative in enriching accounting knowledge, while providing a deeper understanding of how accounting practices are executed, negotiated, and interpreted in everyday organizational life.

Alam syah, Nur, M. Agus, Andi Adam
Abstract: This study aims to analyze the implementation of deep learning in improving the descriptive text writing skills of grade VI students in Group 1, Bangkala District, Jeneponto Regency. Deep learning is seen as relevant to… overcome students' low writing ability which is characterized by a lack of detail, weak text structure, and lack of ability to choose diction. This study uses a qualitative approach with the type of Class Action Research (PTK) of the Kemmis and McTaggart model which is carried out in one cycle consisting of planning, action, observation, and reflection stages. Data was collected through observation, interviews, documentation, as well as pretest and posttest. The results of the study showed a significant increase in description writing skills after the application of Deep Learning. The average pretest score of 58.40 with 16% completeness increased to 83.20 in the posttest with 88% completeness. An increase in N-gain of 0.62 indicates a moderate–high increase category. In addition to improved grades, students showed positive changes in learning behavior, characterized by increased participation, analytical skills, and quality of reflection on their writing. This study concludes that deep learning is effective in improving descriptive text writing skills while fostering students' critical thinking and metacognitive skills. This model is feasible to be applied as an alternative to Indonesian learning strategies in elementary schools.

Jusmaeni, Jusmaeni, M. Agus, Andi Adam
Abstract: This study aims to analyze the effect of the application of Culturally Responsive Teaching (CRT) on the learning interest and ability to write narrative texts of grade IV students of UPT SDN 21 Bangkala, Jeneponto Regency.… ncy. The research background is based on the needs of Indonesian learning that is closer to the students' local cultural experiences so that learning becomes meaningful and relevant. This study uses a quantitative approach with a quasi-experiment design of the non-equivalent control group design that involves two groups, namely the experimental group that received CRT treatment and the control group that used conventional learning. The research instruments included learning interest questionnaires, narrative text writing tests, observation sheets, and documentation. The results showed a significant difference between the two groups after the treatment was given. The average post-test score of the experimental group's writing ability reached 82.14, a significant increase from the pre-test score of 58.71. Meanwhile, the control group only increased from 57.42 to 69.28. The learning interest of students in the experimental group also increased from 62% to 86%, much higher than the control group which only increased from 60% to 71%. The t-test showed a significance value of < 0.05 on both variables, which means that CRT had a significant effect on students' learning interest and narrative text writing ability. Normalized gain analysis corroborated these findings, where the experimental group was in the high improvement category. Overall, this study emphasizes that the integration of local cultural elements through the CRT approach is able to increase student participation, motivation, and academic performance, especially in writing narrative texts. The results of this study imply that CRT is feasible as an alternative to Indonesian learning strategies that are more communicative, contextual, and in favor of the cultural diversity of students
