f the Indonesian Copyright ActLaw No. 28 of 2014) in light of comparative jurisprudence from Japan, Taiwan, and the United States, elucidating how civil-law and common-law systems treat CC licenses. It examines recurring issues ambiguities in “derivative works,” conflicts between non-commercial and commercial exploitation clauses, and failures to observe attribution requirements through practical case studies of software, e-books, music, and video tutorials. Drawing on Satjipto Rahardjo’s progressive legal theory, the research argues for a functional, transformative approach that aligns domestic copyright doctrine with globally harmonized open-licensing principles and substantive justice. The analysis reveals that, under Indonesian law, permissibility hinges on strict adherence to each license’s specific terms; however, current regulations lack clarity, generating legal uncertainty for both creators and users. To address these gaps, the study proposes interpretative guidelines and legislative reforms that (1) define “derivative works” in accord with CC International’s porting model, (2) reconcile non-commercial provisions with legitimate digital markets, and (3) institutionalize attribution standards. Such measures would safeguard creators’ moral and economic rights while fostering equitable digital access and innovation, thereby enhancing Indonesia’s knowledge economy.
Abstract:This study examines the development of the Rammang-Rammang karst landscape in Maros Regency, South Sulawesi, into a prominent ecotourism destination, through an anthropological perspective. Utilizing qualitative methods—including…
including in-depth interviews, participant observation, and focus group discussions—this research explores how the local community navigates the rapid shift from a traditional agrarian and riverine lifestyle to a tourism-based economy. Anthropological analysis reveals that while ecotourism provides alternative livelihoods and fosters local pride, it also introduces challenges regarding cultural commodification, shifts in communal values, and spatial contestation. The findings indicate that the local community exercises significant agency by integrating their ancestral kinship networks (siri’ na pacce) into modern tourism management. This cultural adaptation serves as a mechanism for community resilience, ensuring that external commercial pressures do not fully erode local identity. This study concludes that sustainable tourism development in heritage sites like Rammang-Rammang depends on recognizing local communities not merely as stakeholders, but as active cultural custodians of the karst landscape

ving tradition of the Bali Aga community, which holds substantial economic and cultural value. This study aims to analyze community empowerment through the development of tourism based on cultural weaving products, strengthen the bargaining position of local artisans, and examine efforts to maintain a balance between economic benefits and cultural preservation. The study employed a mixed-methods approach with a sequential explanatory design and involved 150 respondents. Data were collected through observation, interviews, documentation, and surveys. The findings reveal that experiential tourism increased average household income by 35% and enhanced women's participation by 42% through their involvement in production activities, training programs, tour guiding, and the management of creative enterprises. Traditional weaving products were successfully developed as the primary tourism attraction, generating greater economic value while preserving cultural integrity through the clear distinction between sacred and commercial products. The utilization of digital media further expanded market access and strengthened product competitiveness. The novelty of this study lies in the development of an integrative model that connects community empowerment, experiential tourism, cultural preservation, women’s empowerment, and digital cultural entrepreneurship as a sustainable strategy for cultural tourism development.
Abstract:Abstract: Disposal of water in traditional boats is currently still done manually with human intervention, in contrast to commercial ships that already have a ballast system. This will certainly be a problem for boat users…
rs who can interfere with their sailing. Therefore, in this study, a design for an automatic water pump on an Arduino Uno-based boat will be made, which functions as a tool to remove puddles in the hull of the boat due to leakage. This tool is able to discharge water on the boat automatically when the water level entering the hull of the boat has exceeded the maximum height limit until the water level is within the tolerance limit which is considered safe and does not interfere with sailing. This tool works automatically using the WLC sensor (water level control) as a tool to monitor the water level, and the Arduino Uno system as a component to run the program by switching the pump. This tool can minimize the occurrence of shipwreck accidents due to boat hull leaks and human error. This system is still applied in the form of a prototype.

Abstract:The catfish cultivation business carried out by UPR Doa Mandeh since 2015 still requires support in the form of assistance and training for its development. Meanwhile, the availability of fish seeds in South Sumatra is still…
till very dependent on other regions, such as Lampung, Jambi and West Java. The lack of use of appropriate catfish cultivation technology and the use of commercial feed has an impact on the low production of fish seeds produced. Apart from that, there has been no effort to treat waste water which has the potential to have a negative impact on the surrounding environment. For this reason, community service (PPM) is carried out, which applies lecture materials, research and publications that have been carried out by the proposing team in the form of application of biofloc technology, making liquid fertilizer and cultivating herbal plants. The aim and benefits of carrying out this activity are to develop the catfish cultivation business, increase seed production, utilize waste water from catfish rearing media into liquid fertilizer products that can be used to develop herbal plant cultivation which will ultimately increase the income of cultivators at UPR Doa Mandeh. The activity model is in the form of empowerment, development and assistance which is implemented using counseling, training and technical/production assistance methods. The results of this activity are high survival and growth rates for catfish, water quality is in the optimal range, and the richness of nutrients in wastewater from the biofloc system can be used as liquid fertilizer for herbal plants.

Abstract:Advances in information and communication technology have spurred substantial changes in legal transaction procedures in Indonesia, primarily through the utilization of electronic agreements. Agreements that were previously…
sly made in traditional paper formats are now frequently conducted digitally, raising legal concerns regarding their legality, validity, evidence, and legal protection for the involved parties, particularly consumers. Although electronic agreements are normatively recognized in the Civil Code (KUHP) and the Law on Electronic Information and Transactions, practical implementation issues persist, leading to legal uncertainty. This research employs a normative legal methodology utilizing statutory, conceptual, and comparative approaches. Data was obtained through a literature review of primary, secondary, and tertiary legal sources related to electronic agreements and civil legal protection. Qualitative descriptive analysis was conducted to investigate the legal status of electronic agreements and the legal protection available for the parties within the Indonesian legal framework. The discussion results indicate that electronic agreements possess legal validity and binding force equivalent to traditional agreements, provided they meet the criteria for a valid agreement as outlined in Article 1320 of the Civil Code and the provisions of the Information Technology Law. Legal protection in electronic agreements encompasses legal certainty, the recognition of electronic document and signature evidence, and consumer protection against detrimental standard clauses. Nevertheless, challenges remain in establishing party identification, ensuring the integrity of digital contracts, and addressing power imbalances between commercial entities and consumers. This study concludes that while electronic agreements are legally recognized under Indonesian civil law, enhancing legal protection requires strengthened regulations, consistent law enforcement, and improved legal and digital literacy among the public to ensure secure, fair, and equitable electronic transactions.
Abstract:Factors that cause airlines to cancel flights include commercial, technical, operational, weather, and airport factors. Airlines are responsible for canceling departures due to health care requirements (accelerated testing):…
ng): if a passenger tests positive for antigen, they must undergo a PCR test; if negative, they can continue, and the price of the ticket is returned to fly back at least 3 days later. If the passenger gets a PCR test, they must quarantine for 14 days, rescheduling the ticket according to the passenger's status after quarantine. Or the entire ticket will be refunded. There are no specific provisions for consumer legal protection for departure cancellations due to failure to complete health care (accelerated testing), but compliance is not limited to Law Number 1 of 2009 concerning Aviation is not achieved. However, passengers as consumers have legal protection under the Consumer Protection Law relating to passenger rights as consumers of air transportation services, and the Civil Code relating to the status of passengers as parties to a transportation contract with airlines.
