ilience and religiosity among medical workers during the pandemic. Resilience is understood as the capacity to adapt positively in the face of adversity, while religiosity refers to the degree of individual religious commitment and involvement. A mixed-methods approach was employed, combining quantitative data from validated surveys and qualitative insights from semi-structured interviews. The findings indicate a significant positive correlation between resilience and religiosity, suggesting that religiosity serves as a psychological buffer, enhancing resilience levels in medical workers. The study highlights the importance of integrating religiosity and resilience-building interventions into organizational policies to support medical workers during crises. The implications of these findings for future health policies and practices are discussed.
Abstract:This study aims to analyze the determinants of Propensity to Indebtedness among civil servants (ASN) and employees/entrepreneurs in Indonesia. The main focus of the research includes the influence of financial behavior biases,…
iases, emotions, culture, and materialism on the tendency to incur debt, as well as how financial literacy, job security, and religiosity moderate these relationships. A quantitative approach was used in this study, employing an ex post facto design supported by a survey questionnaire. Primary data were collected through an online questionnaire distributed via Google Forms, with 400 respondents selected through simple random sampling. The results show that financial behavior biases, such as overconfidence and aversion regret, have a positive and significant effect on Propensity to Indebtedness. Emotions and culture also have significant influences, where emotional impulsivity and consumption-driven cultural values affect the tendency to incur debt. Materialism was found to strongly influence decisions to incur debt to fulfill lifestyle needs. Additionally, the moderating effect of financial literacy strengthens the relationship between financial behavior biases and Propensity to Indebtedness, indicating that better financial understanding helps individuals make wiser decisions. Job security also strengthens this relationship by providing emotional and financial stability. On the other hand, religiosity weakens the influence of emotions and materialism on Propensity to Indebtedness, although practical approaches are still needed to strengthen these effects. This research contributes academically by expanding insights into financial behavior and debt management, and it provides practical implications for the development of effective financial education programs aimed at improving financial literacy among Indonesian society.

Abstract:This study examines the influence of Maqashid Sharia dimensions on halal cosmetic usage intention among married Muslim women and investigates the moderating role of price affordability. A quantitative approach was employed…
ed using a survey method involving 157 married Muslim women residing in the Greater Jakarta area (Jabodetabek), Indonesia. Respondents were selected through purposive sampling, and the data were analyzed using Partial Least Squares Structural Equation Modeling (PLS-SEM) with SmartPLS 4.0. The findings reveal that among the five Maqashid Sharia dimensions examined, only hifz al-mal (protection of wealth) and hifz al-nasl (protection of lineage) significantly and positively influence halal cosmetic usage intention. In contrast, hifz al-din (protection of religion), hifz al-nafs (protection of life), and hifz al-aql (protection of intellect) do not show significant effects. Price affordability demonstrates a significant direct positive effect on usage intention; however, it does not moderate the relationships between any of the Maqashid Sharia dimensions and usage intention. The model explains 65.5% of the variance in halal cosmetic usage intention (R² = 0.655) with a predictive relevance value of Q² = 0.469. These findings suggest that economic rationality and family orientation serve as the primary drivers of halal cosmetic consumption among married Muslim women, rather than individual religiosity or health awareness. This study contributes to the literature by applying the Maqashid Sharia framework to consumer behavior research and provides practical implications for halal cosmetic industry stakeholders.
Abstract:Women engaged in marine product processing play a crucial role in the national fisheries value chain, yet this strategic contribution has not been matched with formal recognition, access to resources, or decent welfare levels.…
evels. This study aims to analyze the influence of religiosity and social factors on the empowerment and welfare of marine product processing women at the National Fisheries Port (PPN) Karangantu, Serang City, Banten, as well as to formulate a development strategy based on the synergy of these two factors. This research employs a mixed-methods approach with a sequential explanatory design, combining quantitative methods through PLS-SEM analysis on 235 respondents, and qualitative methods through in-depth interviews and Focus Group Discussions (FGD). The results show that religiosity and social factors have a positive and significant effect on women’s empowerment, which in turn impacts welfare improvement across economic, social, and psychological dimensions. Findings also reveal that religious values which currently focus mainly on ritual aspects, alongside patriarchal social norms, serve as key barriers; meanwhile, community support and the integration of religious values into economic activities act as major reinforcing factors. Based on SWOT analysis, this study proposes strategies for strengthening local value-based institutions, integrating empowerment programs with religious activities, and advocating for policies that support coastal women. This research contributes new insights by presenting an integrated model of religiosity and social dimensions in the empowerment of women in the fisheries sector, an area that has not been widely explored in previous studies.
Abstract:The rapid growth of digital technology and e-commerce has transformed consumer behavior, particularly in online beauty product purchases. This study aims to examine the influence of Islamic Branding, Influencer Marketing,…
, and Flash Sale on online shopping decisions for Wardah beauty products on Shopee. Using a quantitative approach, data were collected from 100 respondents in Makassar who had purchased Wardah products online. The data were analyzed using multiple linear regression with SPSS 26. The results indicate that Islamic Branding, Influencer Marketing, and Flash Sale each have a positive and significant effect on online shopping decisions. Simultaneously, these three variables contribute 51% to consumer purchasing decisions, showing that a combination of religiosity-based branding, social influence, and urgency-driven promotion effectively encourages consumer purchases. The findings suggest that integrating Islamic values with digital marketing strategies enhances consumer trust and purchase intention in the halal beauty market.
Abstract:This study examines the implementation of character education at MTsN 3 Halmahera Utara through four focal values: religiosity, honesty, tolerance, and discipline. Using a qualitative naturalistic approach, data were collected…
lected from the head of the madrasah, teachers, and students through in depth interviews, participant observation, and documentation. The findings indicate that character education is organized as a whole school culture rather than a standalone program. Religiosity is strengthened through routinized worship practices that scaffold ethical conduct and self regulation. Honesty is fostered through teacher exemplarity, trust based learning situations, and clear behavioral norms related to academic integrity and everyday responsibility. Tolerance is cultivated as a relational practice through inclusive interaction norms and respect for differences in the school community. Discipline is reinforced through consistent routines, rule clarity, and guided accountability, though its internalization remains sensitive to family support and external influences. Overall, the study shows that coherent habituation, modeling, and institutional consistency are decisive for embedding character values in students’ daily behavior and for sustaining a constructive moral climate in the madrasah. The results suggest implications for school leadership, teacher development, and family engagement. Limitations include the single site design and scope, indicating the need for comparative and longitudinal studies.
Abstract:The emergence of consumer boycotts driven by socio-political issues reflects a fundamental shift in consumer behavior in the digital era. In Indonesia, a country characterized by high religiosity and extensive social media…
ia engagement, the rapid dissemination of negative information through electronic word of mouth (e-WOM) can trigger strong emotional reactions toward brands. Starbucks Indonesia represents a salient case in which the brand became associated with the Israel–Palestine conflict, generating moral debates, religious sentiments, and intense brand-related hostility in digital spaces. In this context, consumers act not merely as rational economic actors, but as moral agents whose purchasing decisions are influenced by deeply held values and beliefs. This study aims to examine the effects of e-WOM and religiosity on purchase intention, with brand hate serving as a moderating variable among Starbucks consumers in Indonesia. Specifically, the research investigates how exposure to negative online narratives and consumers’ religiosity shape emotional responses in the form of brand hate, and how these responses influence purchasing intentions within a boycott context. A quantitative research design was employed using a survey method targeting Starbucks consumers in Indonesia who were aware of the boycott related to the Israel–Palestine conflict. Data were collected through structured questionnaires and analyzed using structural equation modeling to assess both direct and indirect relationships among variables, including the moderating role of brand hate. This approach enables a comprehensive understanding of the psychological and behavioral mechanisms underlying consumer responses to value-laden and morally sensitive issues. The findings reveal that electronic word of mouth has a significant effect on purchase intention. Religiosity also influences purchase intention, both directly and indirectly through the formation of brand hate. Moreover, brand hate significantly moderates the relationship between e-WOM and purchase intention, such that higher levels of brand hate intensify the decline in consumers’ willingness to purchase. These results highlight the critical role of morally driven negative emotions in explaining reduced purchase intention during boycott movements. This study contributes theoretically by extending consumer behavior literature through the integration of digital communication, religiosity, and negative brand emotions within a single conceptual framework. Practically, the findings suggest that global brand managers should adopt culturally and religiously sensitive communication strategies and proactively manage digital narratives to mitigate the escalation of brand hate amid socio-political controversies.
