Abstract:The development of digital technology has transformed communication patterns among young people, particularly through social media. However, the use of the Indonesian language by junior high school students in digital spaces…
aces often neglects linguistic norms and lacks politeness. This community service project aimed to educate students of SMPIT Al-Hijrah 2 Deli Serdang on how to use Indonesian properly, accurately, and politely in digital communication. The method involved initial observation, development of a contextual learning module based on social media content, implementation of interactive training, and follow-up evaluation and mentoring. The results indicate a significant improvement in students’ understanding of language norms and online communication ethics. Students became more aware in choosing appropriate diction, composing grammatically correct sentences, and maintaining polite interactions in social media posts and comments. Post-training mentoring also showed consistency in the students’ application of polite language in their digital interactions. This program demonstrates that language education integrated with digital literacy and character-building can shape ethical and productive communication behaviors among junior high school students. Such education is recommended to be continuously implemented as part of school literacy programs.
Abstract:Development is a continuous process of qualitative change towards maturity, marked by increased organ function, cognitive, emotional, motoric, and behavioral abilities. Early adulthood is a period of human development from…
om adolescence to adulthood. Early adulthood begins between the ages of 16 and 40. In the human lifespan, adulthood plays an important role as a phase in which individuals experience various changes and adjustments. In this developmental process, several possible behavioral changes are very influential, including hedonism. The view of hedonism is often associated with consumptive and hedonistic behavior. People who adhere to hedonism will always seek ways to obtain pleasure, whether material, physical, or spiritual pleasure. Related to the increasingly advanced world of education, various learning models are implemented as an effort to adapt to the times. One of them is the deep learning learning model, deep learning is a pedagogical approach that focuses on understanding substantial concepts in depth, not just the breadth of material, through meaningful, conscious, and enjoyable (holistic) learning experiences. This study aims to analyze how hedonism in the application of the deep learning learning model influences the development of students' early adulthood, using qualitative descriptive methods. The research results show a significant influence between hedonistic attitudes in the application of deep learning and early adulthood development, as seen through observations and interviews conducted directly during the learning process. One observation revealed that students appeared relaxed and enjoyed group assignments, as some paid to be relieved of responsibility for completing them.
Abstract:This study aims to analyze parental involvement in children's spiritual education as a key factor in their holistic development. Employing a library research method, the researcher explores various literatures on the concepts…
cepts and practices of parental spiritual education. The findings indicate that active parental involvement, through the application of moral values, behavioral modeling, and open communication, significantly contributes to children's emotional, social, and academic development. The research reveals that children receiving adequate spiritual education are likely to possess better psychological resilience and more mature interpersonal skills. Although challenges such as economic pressures and time constraints hinder spiritual education at home, support from educational institutions and collaboration with the community can enhance its efficacy. The implications of this research highlight the importance of strengthening parental roles in spiritual education to shape children's character and moral identity, as well as to prepare them for future challenges. These findings provide valuable insights for the development of educational policies that emphasize parental involvement in supporting children's spiritual education.

Abstract:The primary goal of this study was to quantitatively analyze the contribution of consumptive behavior and lifestyle toward shoe purchasing decisions among students at Universitas Linggabuana PGRI Sukabumi. The analysis consistently…
onsistently showed that both independent variables play a significant role in influencing purchasing choices. Specifically, consumptive behavior was found to have a positive and tangible impact on buying decisions when analyzed individually. Similarly, lifestyle also demonstrated a distinct, positive, and significant contribution. When examined simultaneously (Uji F), these two factors were collectively proven to be significant. The model exhibited strong explanatory power, indicating that the majority of the variation in student purchasing decisions can be effectively attributed to their lifestyle trends and high consumption levels. In conclusion, the findings confirm that both lifestyle and consumptive behavior are central and positive drivers in shaping students' shoe purchasing decisions

t women, postpartum mothers, and children aged 0-59 months, providing counseling, facilitating referral services, receiving social assistance and surveillance of families at risk of stunting. Stunting is a growth and development disorder characterized by a child's height that is not appropriate for their age. This study aims to analyze the performance of the family support team in an effort to reduce the incidence of stunting and the factors that influence the performance of the family support team. This study uses a qualitative method using a purposive sampling technique with 38 informants, through interviews, focus group discussions, observations and document reviews. The results of the study revealed that the indicators of the quality and quantity of TPK work in West Sumatra Province that were not in accordance with expectations were neatness, success capability, speed, work results, facilities and infrastructure and coordination between agencies where reports were not in accordance with the existing family system data in the BKKBN application caused by the lack of TPK knowledge in using the elsimil application and four indicators of the national sensitive intervention program were not achieved from the predetermined targets and the increase in stunting cases. Factors that influence TPK performance are the support and commitment of the government and the community, the existence of programs that have a direct impact on the community and, socialization that changes community behavior to care about stunting prevention programs, strengthening the competence of TPK cadres, strengthening convergence and multi-stakeholder involvement, integrated monitoring and evaluation and utilization of stunting risk family data in handling stunting cases.
Abstract:Despite decades of global HIV/AIDS education efforts, the gap between awareness and preventive behavior among youth remains a persistent challenge. University students—typically well-educated and socially engaged—are expected…
expected to be proactive in health matters, yet many remain passive in HIV prevention efforts. This study examines the knowledge, attitudes, and behaviors of university students in Indonesia regarding HIV/AIDS, and analyzes the cognitive and structural barriers that hinder behavioral change. The research applies two theoretical frameworks: the Theory of Planned Behavior (TPB) and the Health Belief Model (HBM). A quantitative survey was conducted among 268 students at Hasanuddin University. Descriptive and inferential statistics were used to assess levels of HIV/AIDS knowledge, attitudes, and preventive actions. Skewness and kurtosis were also calculated to explore distributional patterns. While students demonstrated high levels of knowledge (M = 16.34) and positive attitudes (M = 31.36), their preventive behavior was notably low (M = 10.74), with skewed distributions indicating widespread inaction. Misconceptions about HIV transmission and curability were common. Both TPB and HBM helped explain the role of perceived barriers, weak normative support, and low self-efficacy in limiting behavioral intention. Findings highlight a critical knowledge–action gap driven by social stigma, misinformation, and lack of institutional cues to action. Effective HIV prevention requires not only awareness but also structured interventions that enhance agency, normalize testing, and dismantle behavioral barriers within youth populations
Abstract:This study explores how Bugis-Makassar women construct and navigate plural reproductive knowledge in response to abortus imminens (threatened miscarriage), drawing on Talcott Parsons’ AGIL framework to analyze the sociocultural…
ocultural functions of care practices. Based on ethnographic fieldwork in Makassar, Indonesia, including interviews and participant observation with ten pregnant women, the study reveals that reproductive behavior is shaped by adaptive strategies (A), collective goals (G), moral integration (I), and intergenerational transmission of norms (L). Rather than following a singular medical logic, women mobilize syncretic forms of care that blend biomedical treatment, spiritual rituals, and ancestral taboos. These plural responses reflect not only epistemic hybridity but also reproductive governance enacted through kinship, religious authority, and clinical institutions. Women's agency is expressed not through open resistance, but through strategic moral navigation and embodied alignment with normative expectations—a form of what Mahmood terms the ethics of self-formation. The findings challenge biomedical-centric approaches to maternal health and highlight the need for culturally responsive interventions that respect local logics of risk, protection, and care. This study contributes to sociological debates on medical pluralism, moral regulation, and the reproduction of gendered knowledge in the Global South.
Abstract:This study aims to describe the strategies of Islamic Religious Education teachers in the formation of Islamic character values in students at SMPN 2 Nuangan, identify supporting and inhibiting factors, and analyze the…
the impact of these strategies on student behavior. The study used a descriptive qualitative approach with a case study design. The research subjects consisted of the principal, three Islamic Religious Education teachers, and Muslim students at SMPN 2 Nuangan. Data collection techniques were carried out through observation, interviews, and documentation. Data were analyzed through the stages of data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing, while data validity was tested through source and technique triangulation, observation persistence, extended participation, and member checks. The results showed that the strategies of Islamic Religious Education teachers in the formation of Islamic character values were carried out through role models, habituation, advice, integration of character values in learning, and supervision of student behavior. Supporting factors included teacher commitment, a conducive school culture, cooperation among school members, and parental support. Inhibiting factors included differences in student backgrounds, lack of family attention, the influence of the social environment, and limited learning time. This strategy has a positive impact on improving students' religious attitudes, discipline, responsibility and good manners.
