future. This method is useful for companies to carefully calculate the amount of raw materials needed, this can reduce the budget and increase operational capabilities. The results of the study state that the Exponential Smoothing method can be used effectively in raw material inventory control information systems, both in industries that have high differences in demand for raw materials. Therefore, this system can facilitate PT Sugar Group Companies in optimizing the use of resources and developing service quality.

y an unbalanced diet, low consumption of local foods, and a lack of physical activity. The SIPAKATAU (Synergy of Local Food and Physical Activity) programme was designed to address these issues through nutritional education, my plate demonstrations, physical activity, and the use of locally sourced, easily accessible food to the community. The activities were carried out over a month in Paccerakkang and Berua villages, involving 24 participants, health cadres, and the Paccerakkang community health centre. The intervention included pre-tests, interactive education, hands-on practice, physical activity monitoring, and health checks before and after the activities. The results showed an increase in knowledge from 50% to 75% in the good category, increased implementation of My Plate, and 75% of participants had sufficient physical activity. Health indicators showed improvement, particularly in cholesterol (normal levels increased from 1 to 7 individuals) and uric acid (100% normal). Blood sugar levels showed improvement, while blood pressure and nutritional status required longer-term intervention. The SIPAKATAU programme proved effective in improving community nutrition and health behaviours and is recommended as a model for community-based NCD prevention.

ns bioactive compounds such as bromelain enzymes, organic acids, and simple sugars, can accelerate the decomposition of organic matter and support the activity of soil microorganisms. The Local Microorganisms (MoL) applied, such as Solanum lycopersicum (L.) and Saccharum officinarum Linn., contain various functional microbes such as Lactobacillus sp., Saccharomyces sp., and Azotobacter sp., which play a role in nitrogen fixation, phosphate solubilisation, and organic matter decomposition. Overall, the results of research and observations conducted on Organosol soil media treated with Ananas comosus (L.) Merr. extract with the addition of Local Microorganisms (MoL) Solanum lycopersicum (L.) and Saccharum officinarum Linn. has been proven to effectively improve the chemical properties and fertility of Organosol soil through its role in increasing microbial activity and accelerating the decomposition of organic matter. This indicates that innovations in the application of fruit and the role of local microorganisms have the potential to be developed as environmentally friendly technologies for sustainable soil management.
Abstract:Background: Diabetes mellitus is a chronic metabolic disorder caused by high levels of physical activity, high sugar consumption, reduced insulin production, and impaired insulin response or other hormones that inhibit insulin…
nsulin action. Based on IDF data, the prevalence of diabetes mellitus in Indonesia in 2024 is estimated to reach 11.3% of the population (approximately 20.4 million people). In addition, the Ministry of Health shows that in 2023, cases of diabetes mellitus will reach 11.7% and are predicted to continue to increase. High blood glucose levels, if left untreated, can cause various complications such as heart disease, stroke, nerve damage, and wound infections that can lead to amputation. One non-pharmacological treatment that can be given is by giving boiled moringa leaves, because moringa leaves contain antioxidants such as flavonoids, vitamins A, C, and E which can lower blood glucose levels. Objective: To determine the effect of Moringa leaf decoction on reducing blood glucose levels in diabetes mellitus patients in Sikampuh Village, Kroya District, Cilacap Regency. Method: The method used was a qualitative descriptive method with a case study approach. Results: Based on the research results, administering Moringa leaf decoction to blood glucose levels in diabetes mellitus patients for 7 days was proven to be effective in lowering blood glucose levels. Conclusion: Administering Moringa leaf decoction to diabetes mellitus patients for 7 days can lower blood glucose levels.

which a person carries out health-related behavior, either taking medication, following diet therapy and changing lifestyle according to recommendations given by health workers. Diet or nutritional therapy is used to regulate the patient's food intake so that it remains fulfilled and does not result in an increase in blood sugar so that it is necessary to regulate the schedule, type and amount of food as nutrition. This study aims to determine whether there is a relationship between health locus of control and compliance with diet in patients with diabetes mellitus in the Kabila Health Center work area. The design in this study is quantitative correlational. The sampling technique in this study used the non-probability sampling method with a total sample of 52 diabetes mellitus participants at the Kabila Health Center. The instrument used in the study used a questionnaire instrument with open questions about the variable health locus of control and compliance with the diet of patients with diabetes mellitus. Based on the results of the study, there is a relationship between health locus of control and compliance with diet in diabetes mellitus patients in the Kabila Health Center work area, with a significance value or p-value showing 0.000 (p <0.05). This is based on the alternative Fisher exact test because there are 3 cells with an expect count value <5.

the condition of prediabetes. As one of the global health problems, DM can be prevented through proper education and regular monitoring of fasting blood sugar levels. This service aims to identify fasting blood sugar and evaluate the effectiveness of education in increasing knowledge in the elderly. The method used is health education through lectures and interactive discussions at the Mugi Sehat Elderly Posyandu, Dukuhwaluh Village. The results of the activity showed that some of the results of the fasting blood sugar test were within the normal limit. The provision of education was proven to increase the level of understanding of respondents, which was shown by an increase in knowledge scores from the average pre-test of 70.31 to 86.93 in the post-test after the intervention. In conclusion, health education plays an important role in increasing the awareness of the elderly about controlling prediabetes risk factors to prevent the development of diabetes.

lationship between the consumption of sugar-sweetened beverages and the incidence of overweight among adolescents at SMP Negeri 28 Surabaya. This study employed an analytical observational design with a cross-sectional approach. A total of 164 respondents were selected using proportional random sampling. Data on sugar-sweetened beverage consumption were collected using a Food Frequency Questionnaire (FFQ), while nutritional status was assessed using Body Mass Index-for-Age (BMI-for-Age). Data were analyzed using the Chi-square test. The results showed a significant association between the consumption of sweetened tea (p = 0.023) and carbonated soft drinks (p = 0.000) with overweight, whereas the consumption of coffee, bubble tea, sweetened milk, isotonic drinks, syrup, and yogurt was not significantly associated with overweight (p > 0.05). It can be concluded that frequent consumption of sweetened tea and carbonated soft drinks is associated with an increased risk of overweight among adolescents. Therefore, nutrition education and limiting the consumption of sugar-sweetened beverages are recommended as preventive strategies to reduce overweight among adolescents.

, flossing, and limiting sugar intake, the easier it is to avoid expensive dental procedures and long-term health problems. One of the Community Health Centers located in Sijabut Village has problems in serving people who experience oral and dental diseases due to the lack of medical personnel, especially dental and oral specialists to provide accurate diagnoses regarding the types of oral and dental diseases suffered. Another reason is that the doctors who work at Zihad Insani Clinic are mostly general practitioners who may not understand about oral and dental diseases so that the services received by the community are not satisfactory. Therefore, in supporting the success of services at the Zihad Insani Clinic, a system is needed that can assist in providing effective services to provide effective diagnoses based on the understanding and knowledge of specialist doctors or dental and oral experts designed in an Expert System.
