This study aims to implement color block media as an innovative learning method to effectively improve early childhood abilities in color recognition. Early childhood is a stage of exploration, where the learning process must be concrete, engaging, and enjoyable. Color block media combines visual and manipulative approaches that can foster curiosity and active involvement in the learning process. This learning-through-play activity encourages children to naturally identify, differentiate, and name colors. The study used a quantitative method with a pretest-posttest design to determine the effectiveness of the media. The research was conducted at KB Adduriyah 3 on October 29, 2024, and data analysis was performed using a t-test through SPSS 18 for Windows. The results showed a significance value (2-tailed) of 0.00. Since this value is smaller than the significance level (α = 0.05), the null hypothesis is rejected, and the alternative hypothesis is accepted. The results of the study demonstrate that color block media has a significant impact on improving children's color recognition skills. Additionally, the media also enhances children's active participation in learning activities. Therefore, color block media is highly recommended as a creative and effective learning strategy for educators and parents in supporting the cognitive development of early childhood.

One phenomenon that has emerged alongside the increasing use of social media is Fear of Missing Out (FoMO)—a feeling of anxiety or worry about being left out of trends, information, or social activities experienced by others. This phenomenon not only affects individuals psychologically but also has implications for students’ consumer behavior. This study aims to analyze the influence of FoMO on students’ consumptive behavior and to identify the mediating or reinforcing factors that shape this relationship. The research employs a qualitative approach, using data collection techniques through literature review from various recent and relevant sources. The findings indicate that FoMO has a significant correlation with the rise of consumptive behavior among students, especially in the context of purchasing symbolic goods that enhance one’s self-image on social media. Key factors influencing the relationship between FoMO and consumptive behavior include the level of digitalization, social dynamics such as peer pressure, and low self-control. Furthermore, the study finds that financial literacy plays an important protective role. Students with higher levels of financial literacy tend to be more capable of managing the consumptive urges triggered by FoMO. This research contributes new insights into the psychological impact of social media on students’ economic behavior. The novelty of the study lies in its in-depth analysis of the link between FoMO and student consumer behavior in the digital era, as well as the identification of relevant mediating factors. Therefore, the results of this study are expected to serve as a foundation for developing more adaptive digital and financial literacy education programs to meet the challenges of the technological era.

Oleh karena itu, seorang guru diharapkan mampu menciptakan sumber daya manusia yang mempunyai pengetahuan dan kemampuan. Berdasarkan hal tersebut, pemilihan guru terbaik perlu dilakukan secara selektif agar hasil pembelajaran yang diperoleh siswa sesuai dengan yang diharapkan pada SMKN PP 1 Kualuh Selatan belum pernah melakukan pemilihan guru terbaik secara cepat dan tepat, pemilihan tersebut masih secara manual yaitu menilai berdasarkan kriteria-kriteria yang sudah ditentukan. Dengan diimplementasi metode moora dalam pemilihan guru terbaik pada SMKN PP 1 Kualuh Selatan maka pemilihan guru terbaik menjadi cepat dan tepat dimana hasil dari perhitungan sistem penilaian berbasis web adalah 0,3099.

The activity was carried out in one of the day care located in Surabaya, with the par-ticipation of young children between the ages of 1 to 3 years old. The method applied in this community service activity is an educational method using a participatory approach. The activity was carried out in a number of phases, including preliminary observation and partner coordination, the creation of educational materials in the form of illustrations of various ship types, brief explanation of ship introduction, and ship coloring activities. Based on the activities that have been done, the children gave a positive response to learning and coloring activities. Using pictures and hands-on activities, the children tend to remember the shape and name of the ship that has been explained previously more easily. Coloring activities encourage fine-motor skills development and children's creativity.

Abstrak: Pengenalan dunia maritim pada anak usia dini penting untuk menumbuhkan pengetahuan tentang peran laut sebagai sumber daya alam di Indonesia. Salah satu cara yang dapat dilakukan adalah melalui pengenalan jenis kapal dengan memanfaatkan media gambar dan aktivitas mewarnai sebagai bentuk pembelajaran visual yang menarik. Kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini dilaksanakan di taman penitipan anak yang berlokasi di Surabaya dengan melibatkan anak usia dini berusia 1–3 tahun. Metode yang digunakan adalah metode edukatif dengan pendekatan partisipatif. Pelaksanaan kegiatan meliputi beberapa tahapan, yaitu observasi awal dan koordinasi dengan mitra, persiapan media pembelajaran berupa gambar jenis-jenis kapal, penyampaian materi pengenalan kapal secara singkat, serta aktivitas mewarnai gambar kapal. Hasil kegiatan menunjukkan bahwa anak-anak memberikan respons positif terhadap kegiatan yang dilakukan. Dengan bantuan media visual dan aktivitas langsung, anak-anak lebih mudah mengenali bentuk dan nama kapal. Selain itu, kegiatan mewarnai juga mendukung perkembangan motorik halus serta kreativitas anak.

improve food appearance. Vocational high school students majoring in culinary arts often use BTP for food products. This activity aims to improve students' knowledge about BTP at SMKN 33 Jakarta. The theme raised is ACETATE: Observe Carefully Food Additives that are Safe for the Body. The number of participants involved was 56 students. The series of activities began with a pretest, presentation of materials, discussion, games and posttest. The materials provided include; session 1: understanding and types of BTP, session 2: BTP that is safe to use and dangerous, session 3: characteristics of foods that use dangerous BTP and the impact of BTP on the body. The method used was counseling using powerpoint. The results of student knowledge before and after participating increased in the good category by 78.6%. It was seen that 41 students had an increase in knowledge scores on the posttest.

Abstrak: Jurusan tata boga merupakan salah satu jurusan SMK yang saat ini mulai berkembang sesuai dengan kebutuhan dan minat. Siswa SMK jurusan tata boga sering mempergunakan Bahan Tambahan Pangan (BTP) untuk membuat produk makanannya. Berdasarkan hasil pengamatan awal dan diskusi dengan guru SMKN 33, ditemukan bahwa sebagian besar siswa belum terpapar banyak mengenai BTP alami dan sintesis, serta belum terbiasa membaca label pangan. Kegiatan ini bertujuan untuk meningkatan pengetahuan siswa tentang BTP di SMKN 33 Jakarta. Jumlah partisipan yang terlibat sebanyak 56 siswa. Adapun rangkaian kegiatan dimulai dengan pretest, pemaparan materi dengan ceramah, lalu dilanjutkan dengan diskusi, games dan posttest. Materi mencakup pengertian dan jenis BTP, BTP yang aman dan berbahaya, ciri makanan dengan BTP berbahaya, serta dampaknya bagi tubuh. Media yang digunakan dengan penyuluhan menggunakan powerpoint. Hasil yang diperoleh yaitu sebelum edukasi, sebanyak 25% siswa berada pada kategori pengetahuan baik, dan setelah edukasi, jumlah tersebut meningkat menjadi 78,6%. Selain itu, 41 siswa mengalami peningkatan nilai pengetahuan pada saat posttest.

The implementation method starts in a structured manner starting from the initial discussion about blended learning, taking the results of the initial questionnaire, then giving independent tasks to the teachers. This community service was attended by 12 teachers at SMA Katolik 1 Kabanjahe, Kab. Karo. North Sumatra. The important conclusion of this community service is the awareness and ability of educators in using information technology, especially blended learning can increase motivation to educators to provide maximum learning to learners.

Abstrak: Teknologi informasi dengan menggunakan internet dapat menguntungkan para pendidik dalam memberikan informasi kepada peserta didik. Pengetahuan tentang teknologi informasi mempunyai potensi yang sangat tinggi. Tujuan dari penulisan: (1) memperluas wawasan, pengetahuan dan pengalaman secara langsung tentang model pembelajaran blended learning untuk guru guru khususnya Guru SMA Katolik 1 Kabanjahe; (2) Guru–guru dapat menggunakan teknologi pembelajaran elearning moodle. Teknik yang direncanakan untuk membentuk motivasi dan partisipasi tenaga pendidik mulai dari keuntungan blended learning, dan pengaplikasian blended learning sehingga tenaga pendidik dalam langsung mengimplementasikannya di dalam kelas. Metode pelaksanaan dimulai secara terstruktur mulai dari diskusi awal tentang blended learning, mengambil hasil kuesioner awal, selanjutnya memberikan tugas mandiri kepada guru–guru. Pelaksanaan pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini diikuti oleh 12 guru di SMA Katolik 1 Kabanjahe, kab. Karo. Sumatera Utara. Kesimpulan penting dari pengabdian ini adalah adanya kesadaran dan kemampuan pendidik dalam menggunakan teknologi informasi khususnya blended learning dapat meningkatkan motivasi kepada tenaga pendidik untuk memberikan pembelajaran yang maksimal kepada peserta didik.
