Analisis Peran DPR dalam Menyuarakan Kepentingan Rakyat Berdasarkan Sila Keempat Pancasila

Nofita Rudiani Asbanu, Claudina Margarida Freitas Belo, Yakobus Adi Saingo
Abstract: The Constitution of the Unitary State of the Republic of Indonesia (NKRI) stipulates that the interests of the people must be voiced and accommodated through legislative channels, represented by the People's Representative… ve Council (DPR) from the regional to the central government levels. However, it is often found that the hopes of the people are not fully articulated, resulting in certain issues never reaching a final resolution. This study aims to analyze the role of the DPR in voicing the people's interests based on the fourth principle of Pancasila. The method used in this research is qualitative with a literature study approach, where data is collected from various scientific sources. The results of the analysis show that the main functions of the DPR, namely in legislation, oversight, and budgeting, have not been fully optimized due to weak accountability and transparency. This crisis of representation impacts the decline in public trust, low political participation, and increased polarization in society. To address these issues, systemic reforms are needed, including enhancing transparency, strengthening accountability mechanisms, and involving the public actively in the decision-making process. Thus, the goal of the DPR’s existence, which can be achieved, is to voice the will of the people, realize deliberation for consensus, and ensure justice and welfare in line with the substance of Pancasila’s ideology, particularly its fourth principle. This study recommends the need to restore the essence of deliberation for consensus in accordance with the fourth principle of Pancasila, accompanied by better political education and electoral system reforms to ensure that elected representatives are truly competent and focused on the interests of the people.

Luluk Zakiatus Sholikhah, Abdullah Basar, Eka Zuliana
Abstract: This research examines the application of ethnomathematics in coin exchange activities at Sarwono Market, which is related to learning arithmetic operations, with the aim of understanding how everyday practices in market… transactions can serve as a medium for learning mathematics. The method used in this study is a qualitative approach with an ethnographic perspective, allowing the researcher to observe and understand phenomena within a broader social context. Data collection was carried out through interviews with traders and market visitors, direct observation of the coin exchange activities, and documentation of activities related to these transactions. The collected data were then analyzed using three main stages: data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing. The results of the study show that the practice of coin exchange not only facilitates transactions in the market but also serves as a medium for applying arithmetic operations in everyday life. This activity encourages the development of logical thinking skills, such as addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division, which are frequently used in the bargaining process or in determining the price of goods. Furthermore, coin exchange helps maintain price stability and increases transaction efficiency in the market by reducing dependence on paper money, which is often difficult to divide accurately. Thus, the study concludes that the application of ethnomathematics in coin exchange activities at Sarwono Market provides dual benefits, both in the economic context and in mathematics education.

The purpose of this case study is to determine the important variables… that cause the productivity of PT. Telkom Witel Bekasi's workers. In this case study, a saturated sampling method is used, which means that each member of the population is used as a sample from a relatively small population. The study involved 47 workers. Validity, reliability, linear multiple regression, and classical assumptions such as normality, heteroscedasticity, and multicollinearity are used. The hypothesis was then tested with the F and T tests.  Data was collected through questionnaires. The results of the hypothesis test show that stress and the work environment have a positive and significant impact on employee performance. The results of multiple regression analysis also show that stress and work environment have a positive and significant effect on productivity. In addition, hypothesis tests show that there is a positive and significant impact on employee work productivity greatly increased. Therefore, companies must always reduce stress in the workplace, even create a more stress-free environment, and build a better working atmosphere to increase employee productivity.

Analisis Cluster Kabupaten/Kota di Jawa Timur Berdasarkan Faktor Kesejahteraan Masyarakat Tahun 2023

Rindy Retno Prihastari, Salsabila Aulia Azizah, Sri Pingit Wulandari
Abstract: East Java Province is a region with significant economic contribution in Indonesia, occupying the third position nationally with a contribution of 14.26%. However, despite its rapid economic growth, East Java still faces… welfare challenges, especially in terms of poverty which is still relatively high compared to other provinces on the island of Java. The poverty rate in East Java is on a downward trend, but it still remains above the national average. This condition indicates an imbalance in the welfare of the community in the East Java region. Welfare is measured based on the ability of the community to meet decent, healthy, and productive basic needs, with the Human Development Index (HDI) as one of the main indicators. HDI can measure human development achievements based on several basic components of quality of life, including the education dimension, the age and health dimension, and the standard of decent living. Therefore, the government needs to group regions with appropriate characteristics to make it easier to make policies. One of the statistical analyses that can be used in this study is cluster analysis. The results of this study are that East Java Province in 2023 shows a diversity of welfare indicators, such as TPT, HDI, and AHH, reflecting differences in economic, educational, and health conditions between regions. The cluster method with the best assessment in this study is the K-Means method with five clusters. The characteristics in clusters I and II tend to have low welfare, while clusters III, IV, and V show better welfare. The results of this study show a change in the number of clusters compared to previous research conducted by Muhammad Fikry Al Farizi et al. in 2022. The previous study produced four clusters using the average linkage method.
