Post Flood Disaster Infrastructure Development Management In Masamba District, North Luwu Regency

Abstract: Masamba and Baebunta District which are located in North Luwu Regency are disaster-prone areas and have a high potential for natural disasters. On July 13 2020, there was a flash flood which damaged infrastructure, public… c facilities and caused casualties. Until now, the government is still continuing to make improvements. The results of the study indicate that the Management of Infrastructure Development in Masamba District, North Luwu Regency is still experiencing problems. This is due to a lack of estimate regional expenditure revenue-APBD funds which has made infrastructure development unfinished because these funds have been used in handling the Covid-19 virus. To find out how the Management Function of Post Flood Disaster Infrastructure Development in Masamba District, North Luwu Regency. Using the theory of George R Terry which consists of four aspects namely planning, organizing, actuating, and supervising. These four aspects will be used in research to analyze more deeply regarding the research to be carried out. As informants consisted of: PUPR Service, BNPB, Head of Maipi Village, Head of Baloli Village, Head of Bone Village, Old Head of Bone and the Community. This study used interview techniques, observation of research locations, and documentation. Using qualitative methods with descriptive research type.

Management of Teacher Performance Improvement in Realizing Professional Teachers

Abstract: This study examined the management of teacher performance improvement in manifesting professional teachers in schools (Madrasah). The researcher conducted this study because of being motivated by the implementation of teacher… acher performance management that has not been running optimally, especially in MAN 2 Majalengka and MAS Daarul Uluum PUI Majalengka. The sample in this study was the staff management of the schools, especially the principal, and teacher or educator staff in both schools studied, and the students, both at MAN 2 Majalengka and MAS Daarul Uluum PUI Majalengka. Then, the research method used in this study was descriptive-holistic aiming at finding out descriptive and holistic explanations as well as examining the assumptions used in more depth based on the findings and interpretations of the data in the research field. The data were collected through documentation techniques, interviews, and direct observation by the researcher. The results showed that the management of teacher performance improvement was able to make teachers professional, when the management of improving teacher performance was carried out based on the principles of scientific management and adjusted to the needs and characteristics of the school. Both schools (Madrasah) have been quite successful in implementing teacher performance management optimally. It could be seen in the efforts of both schools in several aspects examined. The planning aspects of both schools (Madrasah) involved a contextual analysis of all school resources and the school’s goals. The implementation of the aspects, in both schools (Madrasah), involved various performance indicators such as; (1) providing the guidance and distributing teacher self-evaluation tools; (2) carrying out academic supervision; (3) studying and concluding the results of academic supervision; (4) communicating the results of academic supervision to the teachers individually; (5) discussed the follow-up including; (a) conducting a non-formal program covering of handling cases that were individual and casuistic in nature (curative); (b) conducting a formal program, namely handling cases that were general in nature, and carried out by all teachers through training in the form of developing and deepening performance points such as composing a lesson plan. Both schools (Madrasah) showed their uniqueness, especially in the indicators of problem solving and following up. The evaluation aspects of both schools (Madrasah) were quite good at measuring existing education services, as well as measuring the extent to which the school elements have achieved predetermined qualifications. In general, this study concluded that both schools (Madrasah) were quite optimal in implementing teacher performance management by referring to the functional aspects of management; planning, implementation, and evaluation.

The EFL Students’ Pragmatic Competence Level in Pakistan

Abstract: Second language teaching and learning has been grounded greatly on pragmatics. It has been a very important aspect of L2 learners. Majority of the existing literature on this subject matter has paid much attention to diverse… erse pedagogies in the teaching and learning of English and how to integrate pragmatics in the classroom teaching of the language. Experts in the teaching and learning of English as a second language have over the period proven that understanding the level of competence of students’ pragmatics in terms of Pakistan EFL learners is imperative for establishing curriculum in teaching pragmatic competence. This study therefore addresses this aspect and pushes the debate further for a deeper understanding. This research specifically seeks to examine the pragmatic competence level of Pakistan students L2 learners or speakers as well as the contribution of gender and the type of school regarding their competency level in pragmatic knowledge. As for institution type, the results show that there is a significant difference regarding implicate and speech acts. The situational routines do not prove any differences for school type.

Penatalaksanaan Fisioterapi Pada Pasien Post Sectio Caesarea Et Causa Oligohidroamnion  : Studi Kasus

Abstract: Sectio caesarea (SC) merupakan suatu tindakan bedah untuk melahirkan bayi melalui sayatan pada dinding perut dan rahim. Salah satunya faktor penyebabnya yaitu komplikasi oligohidramnion. Masalah yang dialami wanita pasca… SC meliputi nyeri, keterbatasan gerak, dan menurunnya kemampuan aktivitas sehari-hari. Untuk mengetahui apakah program fisoterapi rehabilitasi yang diberikan dapat mengurangi nyeri serta meningkatkan kemampuan aktivitas fungsional pada pasien pasca operasi caesarea. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode case study yang dilakukan secara langsung kepada pasien Ny. FR berusia 24 tahun, di diagnosis post partum setelah menjalani operasi sectio caesarea yang disebabkan oleh kondisi oligohidramnion, dan dirawat di RS PKU Muhammadiyah Selogiri pada bulan Februari 2025. Program fisioterapi yang diberikan meliputi deep breathing exercise, ankle pumping, pelvic floor exercise, pelvic tilt exercise, serta latihan mobilisasi. Untuk mengevaluasi tingkat nyeri digunakan alat ukur Numeric Rating Scale (NRS), Curl Up Test  untuk mengukur kekuatan otot dan Kenny Self Care Index untuk mengukur kemampuan aktivitas fungsional. Setelah dua kali sesi terapi, terjadi penurunan tingkat nyeri : nyeri saat diam menurun dari skor 3 menjadi 2, nyeri tekan dari 7 menjadi 5, dan nyeri saat bergerak dari 6 menjadi 4. Adanya peningkatan kekuatan otot dari fair menjadi fair+, serta hasil Kenny Self Care Index dari 10 menjadi 23. Intervensi fisioterapi yang terdiri dari deep breathing exercise, ankle pumping, pelvic floor exercise, pelvic tilt exercise dan mobilisasi terbukti efektif dalam mengurangi nyeri, meningkatkan kekuatan otot serta meningkatkan kemampuan fungsional harian pada pasien dengan Post SC.
