principals play a strategic role in developing an adaptive, collaborative, and character-oriented organizational culture that supports students’ holistic development. This study focuses on publication trends, thematic cluster structures, and the tendencies of leadership style implementation in strengthening Islamic school culture based on bibliometric analysis. The study employed a descriptive quantitative approach using bibliometric analysis of 397 Scopus-indexed documents published between 2019-2025. Data collection was conducted using Publish or Perish, while data visualization analysis was performed using VOSviewer through keyword co-occurrence techniques. The findings reveal that school culture and distributed leadership emerged as the most dominant themes and occupied central positions within the bibliometric network. The shift in research paradigms indicates a transition from structural approaches toward participatory, collaborative, and contextual approaches in modern educational leadership. Another finding demonstrates that the concepts of Islamic school and Islamic leadership have not yet appeared prominently in international research networks, thereby indicating a significant research gap regarding the integration of Islamic values into school culture and educational leadership practices. This study concludes that the strengthening of school culture is influenced not only by the administrative capabilities of school principals, but also by their ability to foster collaboration, social relations, innovation, and the continuous internalization of moral values. The novelty of this research lies in the use of bibliometric analysis to systematically map the relationship between leadership styles and Islamic school culture, while also offering a perspective on integrating the values of amanah, shura, and exemplary conduct into modern collaborative leadership models.

An educational orientation that continues to prioritize academic achievement has generated serious issues, including the weakening of character, low levels of empathy, and declining social concern among students. The research problem addressed in this study concerns how schools can fulfill their function not only as institutions for knowledge transmission, but also as spaces for the sustainable formation of values, attitudes, and social responsibility. This study aims to analyze the role of schools as arenas for character formation and social awareness, as well as to identify relevant educational approaches for internalizing moral, ethical, and social values. A qualitative approach was employed through a literature review with descriptive analysis of scholarly publications, educational policies, and character education practices. The findings indicate that schools function effectively as educational social environments when character values are systematically integrated through the curriculum, pedagogical interactions, school culture, extracurricular activities, and teacher role modeling. Character formation and social awareness become more meaningful when implemented holistically, contextually, and consistently. The conclusion emphasizes that schools bear moral and social responsibility to create a humanistic, participatory educational ecosystem oriented toward the development of students’ holistic personality. The novelty of this scholarly work lies in its conceptual affirmation of the school as a transformative social space that unifies academic dimensions, character development, and social awareness into an inseparable pedagogical whole.

ng needs. A major issue frequently encountered is teachers’ limited capacity to implement evaluation models that are simple, sustainable, and relevant as a basis for instructional decision-making. This study aims to analyze the application of simple evaluation through formative and summative approaches as a systematic effort to enhance the quality of learning in elementary schools. The formative approach is employed throughout the instructional process to provide immediate feedback, identify students’ learning difficulties, and adjust teaching strategies in real time, while the summative approach is applied at the end of the instructional period to assess the level of goal attainment and the overall effectiveness of the program. The findings indicate that a balanced implementation of both approaches enables teachers to design learning activities that are more responsive, measurable, and oriented toward continuous improvement. Practically designed simple evaluations also encourage teachers to take an active role as controllers of learning quality rather than merely as curriculum implementers. The conclusion of this study confirms that the integration of formative and summative evaluation in a simple yet systematic manner effectively improves learning quality while strengthening a reflective culture in elementary school settings. The novelty of this study lies in its emphasis on an evaluation model that is easy to apply, contextual, and oriented toward teachers’ daily pedagogical decision-making, thereby offering a practical alternative for elementary schools with limited formal evaluation resources.

Based on these findings, this study emphasizes the importance of developing context-based leadership models that position problem-solving as a core competency through enhanced data literacy, emotional intelligence, and continuous reflective learning. teracy among students, this research focused on evaluating the abilities of students at SMP Negeri 158 Jakarta, a school committed to the Adiwiyata program. The study employed a descriptive approach involving 62 eighth-grade students as research subjects. Data were collected through a series of interviews, questionnaires, and tests. Data analysis was conducted using descriptive statistical analysis methods, assessing scores for each environmental literacy indicator. The research findings indicated that the majority of students demonstrated a moderate level of environmental literacy in cognitive indicators, reaching 48%. Meanwhile, the affective indicators showed that the majority of students were in the high category, at 56%. For behavioral indicators, the majority of students were in the moderate category, reaching 76%. The school continues to strive to improve students' environmental literacy as part of efforts to cultivate behaviors that reflect care and awareness for the environment. These actions aim to shape students with a strong and sustainable environmental culture.

The research findings indicate that traditional games not only provide entertainment but also serve as effective learning tools in shaping children's characters. Whether for public schools or governmental entities (at both central and regional levels), the authority for budget utilization is governed by legal frameworks. Nationally, the Ministry of Education and Culture (Kemendikbud) and the Ministry of Research, Technology, and Higher Education (Kemenristek Dikti) play pivotal roles in determining the education budget, specifying its sources and objectives. At the regional level, Provincial, District, and City governments, through the Education Service Unit (Satker Dinas Pendidikan), are accountable for planning and overseeing the utilization of education budgets in line with their respective jurisdictions and discretion. Simultaneously, at the school level, active involvement in planning and executing agreed-upon school programs funded by the budget is undertaken by the school principal in collaboration with the school community.

With social problems becoming more numerous and complicated, this research will relate them to existing social realities and will be linked to the values that exist in Javanese suluk. In this research, we will discuss the moral values of Suluk which are adopted from a literary sociology approach to analyze the moral values contained in Javanese Suluk poetry, especially in two poems entitled “Serate Siswa”, “Introspection” and “Ojo Dumeh” . The focus of this research is on religious, social moral values and human interaction with God as reflected in these literary works. This research uses qualitative methods with descriptive analysis techniques to describe and explore information related to the moral values in the two poems. The results of research on the three titles of Syair Suluk Jawa show that the poem “Serate Disciple” emphasizes the importance of manners, simplicity, and respect for others, by describing the relationship between students and teachers as a reflection of the relationship between humans and God. On the other hand, the poems, “Introspection” and “Ojo Dumeh” highlight the wisdom in looking at age and death, reminding people to continue to worship selflessly, and live life humbly. In conclusion, Suluk Javanese poetry, through sociological analysis of literature, is able to convey a deep moral message regarding human relationships with God and others. This research contributes to the understanding of the moral values contained in Javanese literary works, as well as maintaining and introducing the uniqueness of Javanese culture to society.

The findings indicate that the principal’s level of commitment is positively correlated with the quality of strategic planning, resource management, and the development of a collaborative work culture oriented toward achieving institutional goals. Principals who demonstrate a high level of dedication to enhancing education quality tend to be more effective in building constructive supervision systems, establishing transformative visions and missions, and mobilizing stakeholder participation in data-driven decision-making processes. This study also affirms that the successful implementation of educational service programs is highly dependent on the principal’s capacity to navigate policy dynamics, resource limitations, and the socio-cultural complexities of the school environment. From a theoretical standpoint, this study reflects the relevance of transformational leadership and evidence-based management approaches as foundational to building adaptive and accountable educational institutions. The implications of this research emphasize that enhancing the professional capacity of school principals (in terms of integrity, managerial competence, and strategic vision) is a key determinant in realizing holistic, relevant, and sustainable educational service quality.
