The aim of the study is to describe the nature of 21st century skills and the importance of their application in elementary schools. The research method used is literature study. The data sources in this study were examined from various reading sources such as books and journal articles. This method is carried out so that this journal article can provide relevant and reliable information based on data sources and provide a clear picture of 21st Century 4C skills in elementary schools. The results of this study indicate that teaching 21st century skills is a necessity for every school to form skilled students in 21st century society. The learning objectives are so that students are familiar with good communication, cooperate in a compact manner, are critical of problems and are able to solve them, and are critical and innovative in their work produce new goods.

an who experienced low interest in learning English. This research was conducted in two cycles, where each cycle consisted of planning, implementation, observation, and reflection stages. Data collected through observation and questionnaires were analyzed to determine the development of students’ interest in learning. The results showed that the use of picture cards could significantly increase students’ interest in learning. In cycle I, the level of students’ interest in learning was recorded at 60%, which indicated a lack of active involvement and motivation in learning English. After the implementation of picture cards in cycle II, students’ interest in learning increased to 83%. This increase can be seen from the increased participation of students in teaching and learning activities, enthusiasm in discussions, and better ability to understand the material. The application of picture cards proved to be effective in attracting students’ attention and facilitating the understanding of English materials, especially vocabulary and sentence structure. This study is in line with visual learning theory which states that the use of visual media can improve students’ memory and engagement. Thus, the use of picture cards as learning media is recommended for English teachers to improve students’ interest and learning outcomes. Further research is expected to explore the use of other media in foreign language learning.

, professional ethics is highly respected because it characterizes one's professionalism in the world of work. So as to instill good ethical character in the world of work, the STMIK Royal campus has taught supporting courses, namely professional ethics courses to support good attitudes and character in the world of profession or work. However, not all students are able to take these courses and the level of understanding of students is quite diverse, so clustering or grouping is needed based on the level of understanding of students in understanding the course. This study uses data mining techniques with the K-Means Clustering method to determine the distribution of student understanding levels of professional ethics courses. The purpose of this study was to see how far the success rate of the professional ethics course was proclaimed through the results of one semester's learning and to use the clustering results as a benchmark for developing the course and as evaluation material for students who did not understand the course.

Abstrak: Etika merupakan karakter dasar yang dimiliki seseorang dalam mencerminkan kehidupannya sehari – hari. Etika menjadi gambaran tingkah dan perilaku seseorang dalam berkegiatan di lingkungan sosial. Seperti hal nya dalam dunia pekerjaan etika profesi sangat di junjung tinggi karena menjadi ciri khas profesionalisme seseorang dalam dunia pekerjaan. Sehingga untuk menanamkan karakter etika yang baik dalam dunia pekerjaan, kampus STMIK Royal telah mengajarkan mata kuliah pendukung yakni mata kuliah etika profesi untuk menunjang sikap dan karakter yang baik dalam dunia profesi atau pekerjaan. Namun, tidak semua mahasiswa mampu mengikuti mata kuliah tersebut dan tingkat pemahaman mahasiswa yang tergolong beragam sehingga diperlukan clustering atau pengelompokan berdasarkan tingkat pemahaman mahasiswa dalam memahami mata kuliah tersebut. Penelitian ini menggunakan teknik data mining dengan metode K-Means Clustering untuk mengetahui persebaran tingkat pemahaman mahasiswa terhadap mata kuliah etika profesi. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk melihat sejauh mana tingkat keberhasilan mata kuliah etika profesi yang dicanangkan lewat hasil pembelajaran satu semester dan menjadikan hasil clustering tersebut sebagai tolak ukur untuk mengembangkan mata kuliah tersebut dan menjadi bahan evaluasi bagi mahasiswa yang tidak memahami mata kuliah tersebut. Hasil dari clustering dalam penelitian ini terdiri atas 3 yaitu mahasiswa dengan tingkat pemahaman Baik, Cukup Baik dan Tidak Baik.

Abstrak: Dalam dunia Pendidikan sangat dibutuhkan sebuah media belajar, apalagi di zaman yang sudah serba teknologi maka diharapkan murid dari TK Kemala Bhayangkari 08 Kisaran memiliki suatu media belajar yang lebih mudah dipahami dan dapat diterapkan, adapun contohnya dengan mengaplikasi kan pembelajaran bahasa Inggris menggunakan media berbasis Android, sistem yang dirancang menggunakan Adobe Flash CS6 dan Action Script 3.0 Android Air Pugin for Adobe Flash CS6 sebagai bahan bantu pembuatan script pada Android yang ditampilkan dalam bentuk bahasa serta gambar yang menarik dan suara, agar anak lebih mudah dalam mempelajari bahasa Inggris dasar serta lebih memahami dengan adanya gambar dan suara. Aplikasi ini harusnya dapat mengembangkan kecerdasan baik emosional dan spiritual anak dan menambah wawasan anak dalam mengucapkan bahasa Inggris, yang tadinya dengan cara belajar mandiri atau dengan pendampingan lain untuk pembelajaran dengan edukasi bahasa Inggris yang berbasis Android disertakan gambar dan suara.

As a concrete step, the community service team compiled a Marriage Preparation handbook that is relevant to santri, made in a practical manner and equipped with attractive pictures. The method used was Participatory Action Research (PAR). This community service activity was carried out at the Irsyaduth Tholabah Islamic Boarding School in Bojonegoro and was attended by 55 santri consisting of male and female santri aged 17-22 years. The results of the community service showed that 49% of participants fully understood the material in the Marriage Preparation handbook that had been disseminated, and 82% of participants stated that this activity was very useful and served as a guideline for them before getting married. Through this community service, it is hoped that divorce among students can be avoided.

Abstrak: Pernikahan santri memiliki potensi besar untuk menjadi role model dan dianggap sebagai panutan potensial dalam pernikahan oleh masyarakat, karena tidak hanya berlandaskan pada ketentuan hukum, tetapi juga berakar kuat pada nilai-nilai agama. Sebagai langkah konkrit, tim pengabdian menyusun handbook Persiapan Nikah yang relevan bagi santri, dibuat secara praktis dan dilengkapi dengan gambar menarik. Metode yang digunakan yaitu participatory Action Research (PAR). Kegiatan pengabdian ini dilakukan di Pesantren Irsyaduth Tholabah Bojonegoro dan diikuti oleh 55 santri yang terdiri dari santri putra dan santri putri dengan rentang usia 17-22 tahun. Hasil pengabdian menunjukkan bahwa 49% peserta sangat paham dengan materi handbook Persiapan Nikah yang telah disosialisasikan dan 82% peserta menyatakan bahwa kegiatan ini sangat bermanfaat dan menjadi pedoman bagi mereka sebelum melangsungkan pernikahan. Melalui pengabdian ini, diharapkan perceraian di kalangan santri dapat terhindari.

The activity was carried out in one of the day care located in Surabaya, with the par-ticipation of young children between the ages of 1 to 3 years old. The method applied in this community service activity is an educational method using a participatory approach. The activity was carried out in a number of phases, including preliminary observation and partner coordination, the creation of educational materials in the form of illustrations of various ship types, brief explanation of ship introduction, and ship coloring activities. Based on the activities that have been done, the children gave a positive response to learning and coloring activities. Using pictures and hands-on activities, the children tend to remember the shape and name of the ship that has been explained previously more easily. Coloring activities encourage fine-motor skills development and children's creativity.

Abstrak: Pengenalan dunia maritim pada anak usia dini penting untuk menumbuhkan pengetahuan tentang peran laut sebagai sumber daya alam di Indonesia. Salah satu cara yang dapat dilakukan adalah melalui pengenalan jenis kapal dengan memanfaatkan media gambar dan aktivitas mewarnai sebagai bentuk pembelajaran visual yang menarik. Kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini dilaksanakan di taman penitipan anak yang berlokasi di Surabaya dengan melibatkan anak usia dini berusia 1–3 tahun. Metode yang digunakan adalah metode edukatif dengan pendekatan partisipatif. Pelaksanaan kegiatan meliputi beberapa tahapan, yaitu observasi awal dan koordinasi dengan mitra, persiapan media pembelajaran berupa gambar jenis-jenis kapal, penyampaian materi pengenalan kapal secara singkat, serta aktivitas mewarnai gambar kapal. Hasil kegiatan menunjukkan bahwa anak-anak memberikan respons positif terhadap kegiatan yang dilakukan. Dengan bantuan media visual dan aktivitas langsung, anak-anak lebih mudah mengenali bentuk dan nama kapal. Selain itu, kegiatan mewarnai juga mendukung perkembangan motorik halus serta kreativitas anak.

glish vocabulary. It used quantitative approach with descriptive analysis. Conveniently, one class was taken as the sample of this current activity which consisted of fourteen participants coming from different grades of elementary school. A Dictation test was administered as pretest and posttest before and after intervention to portray the young learners’ achievement level. The result showed that using thematic pictures was significantly impactful in enriching young learners’ English vocabulary mastery (.00 < .05). Ultimately, some pedagogical implication were also addressed accordingly in this present activity to young learners, future facilitators as well as researchers.

Abstrak: Mayoritas pembelajar muda di Indonesia memiliki masalah dengan penguasaan kosakata Bahasa Inggris. Kegiatan Pengabdian masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk melihat apakah penggunaan gambar tematik dapat memperkaya kosa kata bahasa Inggris pelajar muda atau tidak. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan analisis deskriptif. Mudahnya, satu kelas diambil sebagai sampel kegiatan kali ini yang terdiri dari empat belas peserta yang berasal dari berbagai tingkatan sekolah dasar. Tes Dikte diberikan sebagai pretest dan posttest sebelum dan sesudah intervensi untuk menggambarkan tingkat prestasi pelajar muda. Hasilnya menunjukkan bahwa penggunaan gambar tematik memberikan dampak yang signifikan dalam memperkaya penguasaan kosakata bahasa Inggris pelajar muda. Pada akhirnya, beberapa implikasi pedagogis juga dibahas dalam kegiatan ini kepada pelajar muda, fasilitator masa depan, serta peneliti.

Abstrak: penelitian ini bertujuan untuk memperoleh (1) penggunaan role playing atau bermain peran untuk meningkatan percakapan siswa XI-5 SMP Negeri 7 Tanjung Balai; (2) bentuk dari kegiatan pembelajaran untuk berkomunikasi dalam percakapan sehari – hari dengan menggunakan media interaktif; (3) sistem pembelajaran percakapan dalam dialog dengan menggunakan bermain peran; dan (4) peningkatan keterampilan siswa untuk berlatih bahasa inggris dengan menggunakan media interaktif seperti video, gambar dari CD untuk berkomunikasi dalam percakapan dan kemudian siswa mencoba untuk berlatih bahasa inggris dan menggunakan ekspresi di kelas dengan topik sederhana. Kemudian digunakan untuk memberikan latihan berbicara tetapi juga dapat mengembangkan dalam sesi mendengarkan. Kita dapat menggunakan percakapan untuk memperkenalkan dan fungsi mempraktikkan, struktur, atau kosa kata, dan untuk menggambarkan tingkat kesopanan , tingkat formalitas, dan nilai – nilai pencapaian sikap dan budaya. Kita juga dapat bekerja dengan siswa untuk menganalisis dialog tertulis untuk semua materi ini. percakapan berguna untuk mendengarkan dan mempraktikkan pengucapan, intonasi, dan phonologi.
