Abstract: Based on the results of initial observations, two main problems faced by the target community were found, namely the high volume of unmanaged kitchen waste and the lack of digital marketing knowledge in household businesses.… ses. These problems were brought to be analyzed in order to determine the form of problem-solving. The results of the analysis of the observation of this activity were that the organizers provided training in managing organic waste from household activities and training related to digital marketing. This training was practiced directly and provided with adequate equipment as a form of facilitating the community's steps. The training also provided digital marketing material by credible speakers and continued with direct practice. This activity increased knowledge and skills, and the community became empowered to implement sustainable solutions that were beneficial for their households and the wider community. The importance of waste management is how the waste is processed into useful compost so that every daily cooking activity in residents' homes does not have an impact on waste accumulation. Meanwhile, the delivery of digital marketing materials provides references to applications and sites that can be used to expand the network of businesses run by residents. By integrating this strategy, residents can not only improve their living conditions but also make a positive contribution to the ecosystem in the community. Keywords: waste management; digital marketing; UMKM   Abstrak: Berdasarkan hasil observasi awal, ditemukan dua permasalahan utama yang dihadapi masyarakat sasaran, yaitu tingginya volume sampah dapur yang tidak terkelola dan kurangnya pengetahuan pemasaran digital dalam usaha rumah tangga. Permasalahan ini dibawa untuk dianalisis guna mengetahui bentuk penyelesaian masalah. Hasil analisis dari observasi kegiatan ini adalah penyelenggara memberikan pelatihan pengelolaan sampah organik dari kegiatan rumah tangga dan pelatihan terkait pemasaran digital. Pelatihan ini dipraktikkan secara langsung dan diberikan perlengkapan yang memadai sebagai bentuk kemudahan langkah masyarakat. Pelatihan juga disampaikan materi pemasaran digital oleh narasumber yang kredibel dan dilanjutkan dengan praktik langsung. Kegiatan ini menambah pengetahuan dan keterampilan serta masyarakat menjadi berdaya untuk menerapkan solusi berkelanjutan yang bermanfaat bagi rumah tangganya maupun masyarakat luas. Pentingnya pengelolaan sampah adalah bagaimana sampah tersebut diolah menjadi kompos yang bermanfaat sehingga setiap kegiatan memasak sehari-hari di rumah warga tidak berdampak pada penumpukan sampah. Sedangkan penyampaian materi pemasaran digital memberikan referensi aplikasi dan situs yang dapat digunakan untuk memperluas jaringan usaha yang dijalankan warga. Dengan mengintegrasikan strategi ini, warga tidak hanya dapat meningkatkan kondisi kehidupan mereka tetapi juga memberikan kontribusi positif terhadap ekosistem di masyarakat. Implementation of Solar-Powered Water Pump and Monitoring System for Hydroponic Urban Farming

Abstract: Hydroponic farming is gaining popularity in urban areas due to its efficient resource usage and high, clean yields. However, systems like the Nutrient Film Technique (NFT) rely on electric pumps for continuous nutrient circulation,… irculation, making them vulnerable to extended power outages that can disrupt plant nutrition and lead to crop failure. The purpose of this activity is to address the issue of power outages that impacted the hydroponic gardens of the Women Farmers Group (KWT) Sepinggan Raya, Balikpapan, by implementing a solar-powered water pump and a water quality monitoring system. The program consisted of an initial survey, system development and installation, and training sessions on system operation and maintenance. Results indicate that the implementation of the solar pump and monitoring system improves hydroponic productivity while reducing operational costs previously dependent on the national electricity grid. Additionally, the project empowered the local women's group with renewable energy knowledge and modern farming technologies, promoting sustainable urban agriculture practices. Keywords: application of technologies; hydroponic; renewable energy; urban farming; water quality monitoring   Abstrak: Pertanian hidroponik semakin populer di area perkotaan yang memiliki keterbatasan ruang karena efisiensi sumber daya dan hasil panen yang tinggi. Namun, sistem hidroponik seperti Nutrient Film Technique (NFT) sangat bergantung pada pompa listrik untuk sirkulasi air nutrisi secara berkelanjutan. Pemadaman listrik yang berkepanjangan dapat mengganggu suplai nutrisi dan berpotensi menyebabkan kegagalan panen. Kegiatan ini bertujuan untuk mengatasi permasalahan padamnya listrik yang terjadi di kebun hidroponik Kelompok Wanita Tani (KWT) Sepinggan Raya, Balikpapan dengan menerapkan pompa air tenaga surya dan sistem pemantauan kualitas air. Kegiatan meliputi survei awal, pengembangan dan instalasi sistem, serta pelatihan pengoperasian dan pemeliharaan teknologi bagi para petani. Hasil menunjukkan bahwa sistem ini meningkatkan produktivitas kebun hidroponik dan mengurangi ketergantungan terhadap jaringan listrik nasional (PLN). Selain itu, proyek ini memberdayakan kelompok tani dengan pengetahuan tentang energi terbarukan dan teknologi pertanian modern, mendorong praktik pertanian yang berkelanjutan di lingkungan urban. PEMBERDAYAAN MASYARAKAT INDRALAYA RAYAMELALUI INTRODUKSI TEKNOLOGI SOLAR DRYING BIJI LOTUS (Nelumbo nucifera) LIAR

Abstract: The use of natural water resources in the surrounding area must be utilized optimally through local source diversification activities, especially in Indralaya Raya village, Indralaya District, Ogan Ilir Regency. Availability… lity of lotus seeds is abundant especially during rainy season but has not been utilized optimally. In services program,  the introduction of solar drying technology was carried out through outreach and assistance to Village residents, especially youth organizations and micro small medium enterprises (UMKM), regarding the application of technology used for the drying process of lotus seeds, so that the dried lotus seeds could be stored longer for further used, then the next activity continued with the processing of diversified flour products and their derivatives. The success of this activity has shown that the Indralaya Raya residents were enthusiastic about this service activity as shown by the activity achievement indicators. Socialization and assistance activities on the use of solar-powered dryers and the manufacture of flour products and their derivatives have had a positive impact on the Indralaya Raya village community in empowering the activities of youth organizations and UMKMs.

IMPLEMENTATION OF A PYTHON-BASED SCHEDULED AUDIO ALARM SYSTEM FOR LIBRARY LITERACY SUPPORT

Abstract: Abstract: Libraries function not only as information centers but also as literacy spaces that require an orderly and communicative service environment. One supporting service in fostering such an environment is the delivery… ery of literacy greetings to visitors. In practice, greetings are commonly delivered manually or through conventional bells, leading to inconsistency and dependence on staff availability. This study was conducted at the Amir Machmud Library, Ministry of Home Affairs, Jakarta, Indonesia, aiming to design and evaluate a Python-based scheduled audio alarm system for automated literacy greetings. An applied experimental method was employed, including system design, Python script development, scheduling configuration using Windows Task Scheduler, and direct system testing on a library computer connected to ceiling speakers. The system requires initial execution via Command Prompt (CMD) when the computer is powered on, after which it operates automatically according to predefined schedules. Testing results demonstrate that the system performs scheduled audio playback accurately and operates stably without further manual intervention. The findings indicate that the proposed system provides a practical and efficient solution to enhance service consistency and support a structured and conducive literacy environment in the library.             Keywords: scheduled audio alarm; library automation; python; literacy greeting.     Abstrak: Perpustakaan tidak hanya berfungsi sebagai pusat informasi, tetapi juga sebagai ruang literasi yang memerlukan suasana layanan yang tertib dan komunikatif. Salah satu bentuk dukungan layanan tersebut adalah penyampaian sapaan literasi kepada pengunjung. Dalam praktiknya, penyampaian sapaan masih dilakukan secara manual atau menggunakan bel konvensional sehingga kurang konsisten dan bergantung pada petugas. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan di Perpustakaan Amir Machmud, Kementerian Dalam Negeri, Jakarta, Indonesia, dengan tujuan merancang dan menguji sistem alarm audio terjadwal berbasis Python sebagai media penyampaian sapaan literasi. Metode yang digunakan adalah metode eksperimental terapan melalui tahapan perancangan sistem, pengembangan skrip Python, konfigurasi penjadwalan menggunakan Windows Task Scheduler, serta pengujian langsung pada komputer perpustakaan yang terhubung dengan speaker plafon. Sistem bekerja dengan mekanisme inisialisasi awal melalui Command Prompt (CMD) saat komputer dinyalakan, kemudian selanjutnya berjalan otomatis sesuai jadwal yang telah ditentukan. Hasil pengujian menunjukkan bahwa sistem mampu memutar audio secara konsisten dan stabil pada waktu yang telah diatur tanpa intervensi lanjutan dari petugas. Dengan demikian, sistem ini dapat menjadi solusi sederhana dan efisien untuk mendukung terciptanya suasana literasi yang lebih terstruktur dan kondusif di lingkungan perpustakaan.   Kata kunci: alarm audio terjadwal; otomasi perpustakaan; python; sapaan literasi.

BOX PENGHANGAT MAKANAN PENDAMPING AIR SUSU IBU MENGGUNAKAN TERMOELEKTRIK

Abstract: Abstract: The importance of complementary foods as complementary feeding for babies has become breastfeeding mother’s common knowledge. Impaired growth and development of infants and children aged 12-24 months is the low… the low quality of complementary foods caused by unsanitary storage areas and uncontrolled temperatures. Therefore, a research was made in the form of designing a complementary food warmer box which aims to maintain the quality of complementary foods for breastfeeding, especially for career women who spend most of their time outside the home and not with babies. The MPASI heating box is made using a Peltier module with a thermoelectric working concept powered by an electric current or battery so that it can be used anywhere and anytime.             Keywords: MPASI; Thermal Sensor; Thermoelectric; Warming Box     Abstrak: Pentingnya MPASI sebagai asupan pendamping bayi sudah menjadi pengetahuan umum setiap ibu menyusui. Gangguan tumbuh kembang bayi dan anak usia 12-24 bulan disebabkan rendahnya mutu MPASI karena tempat penyimpanan yang kurang bersih dan suhu yang tidak terjaga. Dengan demikian dibuatlah penelitian berupa rancang bangun box penghangat MPASI dengan tujuan agar makanan pendamping ASI dapat terjaga kualitasnya, terutama bagi wanita bekerja yang menghabiskan sebagian besar waktunya diluar rumah tanpa bersama bayi. Box penghangat MPASI menggunakan konsep kerja termoelektrik dalam bentuk modul Peltier dengan sumber tegangan arus listrik atau baterai, sehingga dapat digunakan kapanpun dan dimanapun.   Kata kunci: Box Penghangat; MPASI; Sensor Suhu; Termoelektrik

LEMARI PENDINGIN PORTABLE UNTUK PENYIMPANAN AIR SUSU IBU (ASI) MENGGUNAKAN TERMOELEKTRIK

Abstract: Abstract: The importance of breast milk as the main intake of the baby has become common knowledge for every breastfeeding mother. Exclusive breastfeeding is recommended by the government and WHO for breastfeeding mothers… s until the baby is two years old. The main obstacle to exclusive breastfeeding for babies is generally caused by the short resistance of breast milk to temperature factors, where breast milk can only last for less than four hours at room temperature. Therefore, a study was made in the form of a portable refrigerator design which aims to make breastfeeding mothers able to store breast milk longer, especially for career women who spend part of their time outside the home and not with babies. The refrigerator is made using a Peltier module with a thermoelectric working concept that is powered by an electric current or a battery so that it can be taken on trips.             Keywords: Arduino; Breast Milk; Cooler; Peltier; Thermoelectric     Abstrak: Pentingnya ASI sebagai asupan utama bayi telah menjadi pengetahuan umum bagi setiap ibu menyusui. Pemberian ASI ekslusif dianjurkan oleh pemerintah dan WHO kepada ibu menyusui sampai kurun waktu umur bayi dua tahun. Kendala utama terhambatnya pemberian ASI ekslusif kepada bayi umumnya disebabkan oleh daya tahan ASI yang singkat terhadap faktor suhu, dimana ASI hanya mampu bertahan selama kurang dari empat jam pada suhu ruangan. Oleh sebab itu dibuatlah penelitian berupa rancang bangun lemari pendingin portable yang bertujuan agar ibu menyusui dapat menyimpan ASI lebih lama, terutama bagi wanita karir yang sebagian waktunya diluar rumah dan tidak bersama bayi. Lemari pendingin dibuat menggunakan modul Peltier dengan konsep kerja termoelektrik yang ditenagai arus listrik atau baterai sehingga dapat dibawa dalam perjalanan.   Kata kunci: Arduino; ASI; Peltier; Pendingin; Termoelektrik
