The term network (network) is used when there are at least two or more devices that are connected to one another. To carry out data exchange in this network, a protocol is used that specifies how data is exchanged, and one of the most widely used protocols is the File Transfer Protocol (FTP). FTP is generally useful as a means of exchanging files or data in a network. The FTP protocol is not secure enough, because when data transfer there is no security to protect it. Therefore the FTP protocol is necessary for additional security, by implementing the SSL security protocol or Secure Socket Layer Security protecting the FTP protocol during data transfer. SSL certificates are used for the purpose of handling the security of data packets transmitted over the network system. When SSL is activated, the server and client when the connection occurs will be encrypted so that the data cannot be seen by others.

Abstrak: Suatu Kemajuan teknologi komunikasi saat ini memiliki pengaruh terhadap perkembangan didalam pengelolaan data didalam sendi kehidupan, membuat kebutuhan akan media center menjadi sesuatu yang harus dalam penyimpanan arsip digital. Data tidak selamanya akan tersimpan di dalam personal computer saja tetapi akan lebih baik jika ada wadah data terpusat menjadi solusi dalam media penyimpanan, agar menjaga dari kehilangan data atau cadangan data. Istilah jaringan (network) dipakai apabila terdapat minimal dua atau lebih perangkat yang terhubungkan satu dengan yang lainnya. Untuk melaksanakn pertukaran data didalam jaringan ini, digunakan protocol yang menspesifikasikan bagaimana data dipertukarkan, dan salah satu protocol yang banyak digunakan adalah File Transfer Protocol (FTP). FTP umumnya bermanfaat sebagai sarana pertukaran file atau data dalam suatu network. Protokol FTP tidaklah cukup aman, dikarenakan ketika transfer data tidak ada keamanan untuk melindunginya. Maka dari itu protokol FTP perlu untuk penambahan keamanan, dengan menerapkan protokol keamanan SSL atau Secure Socket Layer Security melindungi protokol FTP pada saat transfer data. Sertifikat SSL dimanfaatkan untuk keperluan menangani keamanan paket data yang ditransmisikan melalui sistem jaringan. Ketika SSL diakatifkan, maka server dan client ketika terjadi koneksi akan ter enkripsi sehingga data yang ada tidak dapat untuk dilihat oleh orang lain.

This community service program is a continuation of previous assistance and aims to strengthen the capacity of UMKM Bubut Kayu Karya in Kisaran Timur through education on Local SEO strategies and cloud-based customer data management. The program employed a participatory education and training approach, including Google Business Profile optimization, customer data recording and analysis using Google Sheets, and basic digital security awareness. The results indicate improvements in the partner’s understanding and skills in managing location-based business visibility, utilizing customer data for marketing decision-making, and protecting digital business assets. This community service offers an innovative contribution in the form of a low-cost, context-based, and continuation-oriented empowerment model that integrates location-based digital marketing and simple data utilization. The proposed model is recommended to be replicated for MSMEs with similar characteristics to support gradual and sustainable digital transformation.

Abstrak: Usaha Mikro, Kecil, dan Menengah (UMKM) memiliki peran strategis dalam pengembangan ekonomi lokal, namun pemanfaatan teknologi digital oleh UMKM masih cenderung terbatas pada promosi sederhana dan belum didukung oleh pengelolaan data yang terstruktur. Kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini merupakan kelanjutan dari program pendampingan sebelumnya dan bertujuan untuk memperkuat kapasitas UMKM Bubut Kayu Karya di Kisaran Timur melalui edukasi strategi Local SEO dan pengelolaan data pelanggan berbasis cloud. Metode yang digunakan adalah pendidikan masyarakat dan pelatihan dengan pendekatan edukatif-partisipatif, meliputi optimalisasi Google Business Profile, pencatatan dan analisis data pelanggan menggunakan Google Sheets, serta peningkatan kesadaran keamanan digital dasar. Hasil kegiatan menunjukkan adanya peningkatan pemahaman dan keterampilan mitra dalam mengelola visibilitas usaha berbasis lokasi, memanfaatkan data pelanggan sebagai dasar pengambilan keputusan pemasaran, serta melindungi aset digital usaha. Keunikan kegiatan pengabdian ini terletak pada pendekatan lanjutan yang berbiaya rendah, kontekstual, dan berorientasi keberlanjutan dengan mengintegrasikan strategi pemasaran berbasis lokasi dan literasi data sederhana. Model pengabdian ini direkomendasikan untuk direplikasi pada UMKM dengan karakteristik serupa sebagai upaya penguatan daya saing usaha berbasis literasi digital.

rticipants at LKP Mutiara Informatika in Asahan Regency, requires a fundamental understanding and skills in protecting personal data and recognizing cyber threats. This community service program aims to provide educational and practical training on personal data protection and cybersecurity. The implementation methods include material delivery, interactive discussions, and practical simulations using real case studies. This program enhanced participants’ understanding of digital privacy, online fraud, and the use of basic security tools. Participants were also able to identify preventive measures to protect their digital accounts. Through this training, the community is better prepared to face the challenges of the technological era and to serve as agents of cybersecurity literacy, while also emphasizing the importance of synergy between education and technology in building safe and responsible digital awareness.

Abstrak: Perkembangan teknologi digital yang pesat membawa berbagai manfaat sekaligus tantangan, salah satunya adalah meningkatnya risiko terhadap keamanan siber dan kebocoran data pribadi. Masyarakat digital, khususnya peserta di LKP Mutiara Informatika Kabupaten Asahan, membutuhkan pemahaman dan keterampilan dasar dalam melindungi data pribadi serta mengenali ancaman siber. Kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk memberikan pelatihan yang bersifat edukatif dan aplikatif mengenai perlindungan data pribadi dan keamanan siber. Metode pelaksanaan meliputi penyampaian materi, diskusi interaktif, dan simulasi praktik menggunakan studi kasus nyata. Kegiatan ini meningkatkan pemahaman peserta tentang privasi digital, penipuan online, serta penggunaan perangkat pengaman dasar. Peserta juga mampu mengenali langkah pencegahan untuk melindungi akun digital. This activity aims to provide education to the Soreang village community, the MSME group regarding simple bookkeeping and internal control which will be able to improve skills and knowledge in designing future business strategies, managing finances, and protecting company assets. This activity is carried out by providing socialization first and then providing training to participants on the concepts and practices of simple bookkeeping and the application of internal control. This study aims to describe community participation in the implementation of the Green Open Space Reforestation (RTH) program in Gunung Anyar, Gunung Anyar Village, Surabaya City and the obstacles faced. This study uses a descriptive method with a qualitative approach where data collection is done by observation, in-depth interviews with informants, and documentation studies. The results of this study indicate that there is a community called Griyo Maos. Griyo Maos is a community that is active in social activities such as establishing a free reading park and contributing to the maintenance of Green Open Space in the Gunung Mud Volcano area in Gunung Anyar, Surabaya. The Griyo Maos community has made a major contribution to caring for and protecting the environment in the Gunung Anyar mud volcano area. In this study, there were 3 stages that were passed, namely the preparation, implementation, and evaluation stages. Based on these 3 stages, the participation of the community represented by Griyo Maos is considered to have contributed optimally to the implementation of the Green Open Space Reforestation program, while the surrounding community is still less contributing to these activities.

Abstrak: Reboisasi yaitu penghijauan kembali hutan yang sudah gundul atau tandus yang bertujuan untuk meningkatkan kualitas lingkungan hidup. Reboisasi ini dilaksanakan pada wilayah Mud Volcano kelurahan Gunung Anyar Surabaya. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan partisipasi masyarakat dalam pelaksanaan program Reboisasi Ruang Terbuka Hijau (RTH) di Gunung Anyar, Kelurahan Gunung Anyar, Kota Surabaya dan kendala yang dihadapi. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode deskriptif dengan pendekatan kualitatif dimana pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan observasi, wawancara mendalam dengan informan, dan studi dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa terdapat sebuah komunitas yang bernama Griyo Maos. Griyo Maos merupakan suatu komunitas yang aktif dalam kegiatan sosial seperti mendirikan taman baca secara gratis dan berkontribusi dalam pemeliharaan Ruang Terbuka Hijau di kawasan Gunung Mud Volcano yang berada di Gunung Anyar, Surabaya. Komunitas Griyo Maos ini memiliki kontribusi besar untuk merawat dan menjaga lingkungan di kawasan mud volcano Gunung Anyar tersebut. Dalam penelitian ini terdapat 3 tahapan yang dilalui yaitu tahap persiapan, pelaksanaan, dan juga evaluasi. Berdasarkan 3 tahapan tersebut maka partisipasi masyarakat yang di representasikan oleh Griyo Maos dinilai telah berkontribusi secara optimal dalam pelaksanaan program Reboisasi Ruang Terbuka Hijau, sementara itu masyarakat sekitar masih kurang berkontribusi dalam kegiatan tersebut.

IDPS performance analysis for mitigating SQL injection and syn flood attacks will use Suricata tools, where performance analysis will include evaluation of system accuracy and efficiency in detecting attacks, as well as the impact of the system on network or information system performance. By doing this performance analysis, it can be seen how effective the IDPS is in providing defences against such attacks. The results of the IDPS performance analysis can help an organisation or company select and implement the right IDPS according to the needs and conditions of the information system. Thus, organisations or companies can improve the security of their information systems from threatening cyber attacks.

Abstrak: Serangan cyber seperti SQL Injection dan Syn Flood Attack dapat mengancam keamanan sistem informasi suatu organisasi atau perusahaan. Intrusion Detection and Prevention System (IDPS) digunakan sebagai solusi untuk mendeteksi, mencegah, dan merespons serangan-serangan ini. Namun, efektivitas IDPS dalam melindungi sistem informasi perlu dievaluasi melalui analisis performa. Analisis performa IDPS untuk mitigasi SQL Injection dan Syn Flood Attack ini akan menggunakan tools suricata dimana analisa performa akan meliputi evaluasi terhadap akurasi dan efisiensi sistem dalam mendeteksi serangan, serta dampak dari sistem terhadap kinerja jaringan atau sistem informasi. Dengan melakukan analisis performa ini, dapat diketahui seberapa efektif IDPS dalam memberikan perlindungan terhadap serangan-serangan tersebut. Hasil dari analisis performa IDPS dapat membantu organisasi atau perusahaan dalam memilih dan mengimplementasikan IDPS yang tepat sesuai dengan kebutuhan dan kondisi sistem informasi yang dimiliki. Dengan demikian, organisasi atau perusahaan dapat meningkatkan keamanan sistem informasi mereka dari serangan-serangan cyber yang mengancam.

Abstrak: Pesatnya pertumbuhan penggunaan aplikasi pinjaman online membuat perlindungan data konsumen menjadi isu krusial. Regulasi perlindungan data pengajuan pinjaman online saat ini perlu diperbarui untuk memastikan data pribadi konsumen terlindungi dari potensi penyalahgunaan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis urgensi pembaharuan regulasi perlindungan data bagi pengguna aplikasi pinjaman online melalui pendekatan yuridis-normatif. Hasil penelitian menemukan bahwa diperlukan regulasi baru yang lebih komprehensif untuk mengimbangi pesatnya perkembangan teknologi di sektor keuangan. Temuan penelitian ini menekankan pentingnya perlindungan data pribadi dalam aplikasi yang menawarkan layanan pinjaman online, terlebih dengan semakin banyaknya kasus pelanggaran data pribadi. Hasil penelitian menyimpulkan bahwa pembaharuan regulasi perlindungan data pribadi sangat penting untuk menjamin keamanan dan keselamatan data konsumen di aplikasi yang menawarkan layanan pinjaman online.

The Deposit Insurance Corporation (LPS) has a crucial role in protecting customer deposits when banks experience liquidation. In this context, LPS functions as a legal protection strategy for customer deposits held in banks. This action is important to maintain public confidence in banking amidst economic uncertainty. In response to the 1998 monetary crisis, the Indonesian government issued a policy of guaranteeing bank payments, including public deposits, through LPS. The importance of LPS is revealed when banks experience failures that have the potential to threaten the security of customer funds. In this situation, LPS guarantees the customer's refund up to a certain limit, providing the necessary financial protection. This creates a sense of security for customers and promotes banking system stability. With LPS, customers can be assured that their funds are safe even if unexpected events occur in the banking world. The role of LPS as a deposit insurance institution is inherent in the government's efforts to regulate and supervise the financial sector. LPS plays a role as the front guard in protecting customer interests, maintaining financial system stability, and preventing potential losses that could arise due to the possibility of bank failure.
