g environment and creating a number of environmental problems. This community service activity aims to increase the knowledge and skills of the students through training in processing coconut fiber waste into cocopeat using a chopping machine. This cocopeat product can be used as an organic planting medium. This training was held at the Al Mimbar boarding school in Jombang, East Java, which can create an alternative source of income for the boarding school and foster environmental awareness among students. The methods used in this training include socialization and hands-on practice in making cocopeat. The results of this activity show that the students are increasingly aware of the environment, are able to process coconut fiber waste into quality cocopeat, and understand the economic value of the product as well as the market potential that can be utilized by the pesantren to get additional sources of funding from the sales of cocopeat. Thus, this program can be the first step for pesantren in developing sustainable environment-based businesses, as well as making a positive contribution to improving the local economy.

Abstrak: Serabut kelapa atau sabut kelapa adalah bagian luar dari buah kelapa yang sering dianggap sebagai limbah setelah diambil daging dan airnya. Tanpa pengolahan yang tepat, serabut kelapa dibuang akan menumpuk di lingkungan sekitar sehingga menciptakan sejumlah masalah lingkungan. Kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan pengetahuan dan keterampilan para santri melalui pelatihan pengolahan limbah serabut kelapa menjadi cocopeat dengan menggunakan mesin pencacah. Produk cocopeat ini dapat digunakan sebagai media tanam organik. Pelatihan ini diselenggarakan di pondok pesantren Al Mimbar Jombang Jawa Timur yang dapat menciptakan sumber pendapatan alternatif bagi pesantren dan menumbuhkan kesadaran lingkungan di kalangan santri. Metode yang digunakan dalam pelatihan ini meliputi sosialisasi dan praktek langsung pembuatan cocopeat. Hasil dari kegiatan ini menunjukkan bahwa para santri semakin sadar akan lingkungan, mampu mengolah limbah serabut kelapa menjadi cocopeat berkualitas, dan memahami nilai ekonomis dari produk tersebut serta potensi pasar yang dapat dimanfaatkan pesantren mendapatkan tambahan sumber pendanaan dari pendapat penjualan cocopeat. Dengan demikian, program ini dapat menjadi langkah awal bagi pesantren dalam mengembangkan usaha berbasis lingkungan yang berkelanjutan, serta memberikan kontribusi positif bagi peningkatan perekonomian lokal.

public speaking, during the job interview process. It was done online through a Zoom meeting, which was opened for vocational college students in Madiun City, East Java. The activity was done in May 2024, starting from the preparation, implementation, and evaluation process. It ran well and benefited vocational college students by equipping them with and broadening their knowledge regarding the job interview process. The participants’ feedback was positive, in which the survey results showed that the community service activity improved their public speaking skills and confidence. The participants also provided a rough description of the job interview process through mock interviews. It is hoped that a similar activity will be carried out continuously in the future.

Banyak lulusan kampus vokasi yang kesulitan saat menjalani proses interviu kerja. Untuk itu, kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan kemampuan berkomunikasi bahasa Inggris mahasiswa vokasi terutama pada public speaking di proses wawancara kerja. Kegiatan ini dilaksanakan secara daring melalui Zoom meeting yang dibuka bagi mahasiswa vokasi di kota Madiun, Jawa Timur. Kegiatan ini dilakukan pada bulan Mei 2024 yang dimulai dari proses persiapan, pelaksanaan dan evaluasi. Kegiatan berjalan dengan lancar dan bermanfaat bagi para mahasiswa vokasi dalam memperlengkapi dan memperluas wawasan mereka mengenai proses wawancara kerja. Umpan balik dari para peserta menunjukkan nilai positive dimana hasil survei menunjukkan bahwa kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat ini meningkatkan kemampuan public speaking para peserta dan rasa percaya diri mereka. Para peserta juga mendapatkan gambaran kasar mengenai proses wawancara kerja melalui kegiatan mock-interview. Diharapkan bahwa kegiatan sejenis dapat diadakan berkelanjutan di masa mendatang.

The main ingredient used is the Moringa plant, which is known in many countries to overcome malnutrition because it is rich in nutrients, obtained easily, and affordable. The activity program is hoped to support the government's efforts in reducing the prevalence of stunting in Maskuning Wetan Village.

Abstrak: Stunting merupakan masalah kesehatan yang menjadi perhatian utama pemerintah hingga saat ini karena berpengaruh pada kualitas sumber daya manusia. Salah satu daerah yang masih menjadi sasaran penanganan stunting adalah Desa Maskuning Wetan, Kecamatan Pujer, Kabupaten Bondowoso, Jawa Timur dengan kasus stunting sebanyak 14,36%. Pola makan termasuk jenis makanan berperan penting dalam penanganan stunting. Sebagian besar ibu di daerah tersebut masih banyak yang belum mengetahui cara pengolahan makanan sehat. Oleh karena itu, pada program pengabdian ini dilakukan beberapa langkah penanganan stunting terkait pengolahan makanan sehat berupa kegiatan penyuluhan dan pelatihan. Bahan utama yang digunakan adalah tanaman kelor yang telah dikenal di berbagai negara untuk mengatasi malnutrisi karena kaya akan kandungan nutrisi, mudah diperoleh, dan terjangkau. Dengan adanya program kegiatan ini diharapkan dapat mendukung upaya pemerintah dalam menurunkan prevalensi stunting di Desa Maskuning Wetan.

The aim of carrying out this service activity is to find out the use of blogs in the business and economic category, to find something unique about blogs that can be published to various parties regarding the use of business and economic blogs so that they can be used effectively and more usefully. The activity implementation method used was in the form of training, interactive discussions with the entire PKK team in East Sei Silau Village, Asahan Regency. This activity uses theoretical and practical knowledge in the room. As a result of the final assessment of the activity, the participants were able to understand the material presented based on the results of the assessment scores obtained from the posttest test results. The activity material given to participants can be used and utilized in creating a blog. The material presented to participants reached 90% of all the concepts involved in creating blogs. The delivery of the material consists of several sessions, namely: explanation, practice, and discussion.

The aim of PKM was to understanding teachers, parents and children about the importance of preventing stunting through the consumption of ASUH livestock products. The PKM method was lectures to parents and teachers. Telling story and socialization on eating livestock products to children. The PKM results show that increased understanding of parents and teachers of the importance of consuming livestock products and choosing ASUH livestock products to prevent stunting. PAUD and Kindergarten children enthusiastically listen to stories about stunting and begin to know that eggs, meat and milk were important for stunting prevention. Abstrak: Stunting merupakan masalah kurang gizi kronis yang terjadi dalam waktu cukup lama dan mengganggu pertumbuhan terutama anak usia dini. Kegiatan PKM dilakukan PAUD dan TK Ihsanul Hasanah dan TK Al-Hidayah Desa Sukadamai Timur. Permasalahan mitra yaitu PAUD dan TK di Desa Sukadamai Timur belum pernah diberikan edukasi pentingnya mengonsumsi produk ternak (telur, daging, dan susu) dan pemilihan produk hasil ternak dengan konsep ASUH (Aman, Sehat, Utuh, Halal) untuk pencegahan stunting pada anak usia dini. Tujuan PKM yaitu memberikan pemahaman kepada guru, orang tua, dan anak tentang pentingnya pencegahan stunting melalui konsumsi produk ternak yang ASUH. Metode PKM adalah ceramah terhadap orang tua dan guru. Dongeng pada anak-anak serta sosialisasi makan produk peternakan. Hasil PKM menunjukkan bahwa terjadi peningkatan pemahaman orang tua dan guru akan pentingnya mengonsumsi produk ternak dan pemilihan produk ternak yang ASUH untuk mencegah stunting. Anak-anak PAUD dan TK antusias mendengarkan dongeng tentang stunting sehingga mulai mengetahui bahwa telur, daging, dan susu sangat penting untuk pencegahan stunting. Pemberian produk ternak pada anak-anak setiap dua minggu. Kesimpulan PKM adalah kegiatan PKM meningkatkan pemahaman orang tua, guru, serta anak usia dini tentang pencegahan stunting dengan produk ternak yang ASUH.

tners and the farmers they support still lack experience in sorghum farming, especially in profit analysis. This is an obstacle in spreading sorghum as an agricultural potential, because extension workers have difficulty providing farmers with an understanding of the benefits of sorghum farming. Therefore, knowledge is needed in carrying out farming analysis, as well as organizing human resources in farmer groups so that they can produce maximum quality and quantity. Through this knowledge and ability, it is hoped that partners can further optimize the dissemination of sorghum farming to the farmers they support so that they can produce sustainably. The methods used in this service activity are training and mentoring. For training activities, farming business analysis and farmer group management were carried out for one day, where the implementing team facilitated training to partners, namely BPP East Suwawa. After the training activities, students in the implementing team provided regular assistance for two weeks to optimize the results obtained in the training. The results of the activity showed that the activity participants were very enthusiastic during the mentoring activity, and gave positive responses, so that activities like this could be routine, especially in assisting with sorghum farming analysis.

Kelurahan Selatpanjang Timur memiliki berbagai UMKM yang bergerak untuk mengembangkan potensi daerah yang berbahan dasar sagu yang merupakan tanaman khas lahan gambut. Kegiatan pengabdian ini dilakukan pada salah satu UMKM yaitu Gerai Seroja. Kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat dilakukan oleh tim dosen dan tim Kukerta Selatpanjang Timur yang bekerjasama dengan pihak Kelurahan serta masyarakat memberikan kemanfaatan dalam kegiatan promosi produk unggulan daerah tersebut. Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, this business has shifted its production to cloth masks to ensure its business continuity. However, the cloth mask business is now very competitive. Meanwhile, the Tanggulangin SMEs develop mask design in a sporadic way without a strong design concept. This community service program using counseling method to assist the Tanggulangin SMEs in order to produce mask designs that have fashion value so that they have differentiation that increases the selling value. The team provides various alternative mask designs for the Tanggulangin SMEs in the form of a design bank book. Next, selected designs were produced and tested for users. After user testing, the team identifies some critical points that determine the quality of fashion masks. The results of this evaluation become a guide for SMEs to produce better masks and have a high selling value.

Abstrak: Kecamatan Tanggulangin di Kabupaten Sidoarjo, Jawa Timur, merupakan daerah yang terkenal sebagai sentra industri pengrajin tas dan konveksi terbesar di Jawa Timur. Salah satu di antaranya adalah Sartika Ratu, yang selama ini menjadi pemasok perlengkapan perjalanan umroh dan haji. Sehubungan dengan adanya pandemi COVID-19, UKM yang memiliki 10 karyawan dan belasan mitra di Tanggulangin ini mengalihkan produksinya pada masker kain agar kelangsungan bisnis tetap terjamin. Namun persaingan produk masker saat ini sangat kompetitif, sementara itu pengembangan produk masker yang dilakukan oleh UKM ini bersifat masih bersifat sporadis dan belum berkonsep. Metode pengabdian yang digunakan adalah pendampingan UKM Tanggulangin agar dapat menghasilkan desain masker yang bernilai fashion sehingga memiliki diferensiasi yang meningkatkan nilai jual. Tim pengabdi memberikan berbagai alternatif desain masker kepada UKM dalam bentuk buku bank desain, yang dilanjutkan dengan pengujian terhadap beberapa desain terpilih. Setelah dilakukan pengujian produksi, diperoleh hasil evaluasi berupa identifikasi titik kritis yang menjadi penentu kualitas masker fashion. Hasil evaluasi ini menjadi pegangan bagi UKM untuk memproduksi masker yang lebih baik dan bernilai jual tinggi.

Based on the results of the evaluation, the community stated that the use of alternative feed is very useful to maintain the quality of aquaculture and reduce mortality, although there is a lack of catfish growth and a lower appetite than catfish fed. In the future, there need to be further studies on the composition of alternative feed that is environmentally friendly and increases the growth of catfish quickly. This program is a prefix program that is planned to run for at least 5 years with the final target of making UMKM for catfish cultivation and catfish processed products. So that, there needs to be a sustainability program conducted between the community, the village government, and the academic community.

Innovative and creative design aims to reduce the mass of the material but still refers to user safety. Inappropriate design can increase the risk of accidents and wasted costs in the production process. The method used in this community service is a material selection workshop and an introduction to machine design using solidworks software. Therefore, this community service will greatly help the community in the Karang-tempel Village, East Semarang District, increase their insight into the selection of materials and innovative designs as an increase in the quality of production and ensure the safety of users.

Abstrak: Pemilihan material dan desain yang inovatif dan kreatif sangat diperlukan sebagai media pengurangan biaya produksi dengan merubah rancangan suatu produk akan tetapi tetap memperhatikan keselamatan dari penggunanya. Permasalahan yang terjadi di masyarakat sekitar akan kurangnya pengetahuan masyarakat tentang pemilihan material yang dapat berisiko akan terjadinya kecelakaan yang akan dialami pengguna yang dapat disebabkan oleh material tidak cukup kuat untuk menopang beban yang didapatkannya. Desain yang inovatif dan kreatif bertujuan sebagai pengurangan massa dari material akan tetapi tetap merujuk kepada keselamatan pengguna. Desain yang tidak sesuai dapat meningkatkan risiko kecelakaan dan pemborosan biaya pada proses produksi. Metode yang digunakan pada pengabdian masyarakat ini adalah workshop pemilihan material dan pengenalan rancang bangun mesin menggunakan software solidworks. Oleh karena itu pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini akan sangat membantu mas-yarakat di lingkungan kelurahan Karang-tempel, kecamatan Semarang Timur untuk menambah wawasannya terhadap pemilihan material dan desain yang inovatif sebagai peningkatan kualitas hasil produksi dan menjamin keselamatan dari pengguna.
