review of HRM challenges and opportunities within digital workplace environments, drawing on peer-reviewed literature published between 2015 and 2024. Five core dimensions of digital HRM transformation are examined: technology-based talent acquisition, remote and hybrid workforce management, continuous digital competency development, people analytics and data-driven decision-making, and the ethics of algorithmic management. The findings reveal that while digitalization enhances HR efficiency and organizational agility, it simultaneously introduces complex challenges related to employee well-being, digital equity, and data privacy. This article further proposes the Digital HRM Maturity Model as a conceptual framework offering organizations a structured pathway toward sustainable, human-centered digital transformation. Managerial implications and future research directions are discussed accordingly.
Abstract:The manufacturing sector in Indonesia, particularly within the aluminum fabrication and extrusion industry, is currently navigating a period of intense structural transition. Historically characterized by a focus on physical…
ical output and technical specifications, enterprises are now increasingly compelled to adopt a service-dominant logic to maintain competitive viability. This research report investigates the strategic implementation of human resource development programs at NJS Alumunium, focusing on the dual-pathway integration of technical competence (hard skills) and interpersonal proficiencies (soft skills). Utilizing the SERVQUAL framework as a primary evaluative tool, the analysis explores how specific technical abilities, such as CNC machining, precision welding, and CAD design, intersect with soft skills like emotional intelligence, communication, and proactive problem-solving to drive customer satisfaction. The study synthesizes data from contemporary Indonesian industrial policies, including "Making Indonesia 4.0," and academic frameworks such as Workplace Learning (WPL) and Total Quality Management (TQM). Findings indicate that while technical mastery is a prerequisite for entry into the high-end aluminum market, soft skills serve as the critical differentiator in fostering customer loyalty and bridging the gap between expectation and perception. The report further details the role of management information systems, the impact of local cultural paternalism in leadership, and the emergence of green capabilities as essential components of a modern competency strategy. The proposed developmental model advocates for a continuous, mentored, and digitally-enabled training ecosystem that aligns organizational capabilities with the sophisticated demands of both domestic and international consumers.
Abstract:The rapid advancement of Artificial Intelligence (AI) introduced Virtual Influencers (VIs) as innovative digital marketing tools, yet their adoption in high-trust sectors like banking presented unique challenges. This study…
udy analyzed the potential impact of using VIs on consumer perception and marketing ethics within the context of digital security campaigns. A qualitative-contextual approach was employed, examining Bank Central Asia’s (BCA) “Don’t Know? Kasih No!” (DKKN) campaign as a primary case study. The research explored the implications of replacing a highly credible human figure, Indro Warkop, with a VI. Drawing on Source Credibility, Parasocial Relationship, and Marketing 6.0 theories, the analysis identified an inherent trust deficit in VIs. Results indicated that while the actual DKKN campaign successfully garnered over 100 million views and reduced customer financial losses by 41%, a hypothetical AI-led version would likely trigger consumer skepticism due to a lack of experiential authenticity. Furthermore, an ethical paradox was discovered where mandated AI transparency disclosure triggered skepticism among Gen Z users. It was concluded that for high-stakes financial communication, human influencers remained superior due to their emotional relatability and the "sentience factor" required for cybersecurity advocacy. This paper recommends that banking institutions limit VIs to functional roles rather than high-stakes security literacy.
Abstract:This study aims to identify and analyze college students' preferences for Islamic financial products, explore the influence of these preferences on loyalty formation, and develop a conceptual model of Islamic financial consumer…
onsumer loyalty. The research method used was qualitative with a phenomenological approach. Data were collected through semi-structured interviews with 17 college students who had knowledge or experience related to Islamic financial products. Data analysis was performed using NVivo software. The results showed that college students' preferences were influenced by religiosity, financial institution reputation, trust, digital service innovation, and financial education. These factors contribute to the formation of consumer loyalty. Based on these findings, this study developed a consumer loyalty model that encompasses three main dimensions: spiritual attachment, digital engagement, and community-based advocacy. This model integrates consumer loyalty theory and Value-Belief-Norm (VBN) theory to explain the relationship between religious values, digital behavior, and loyalty to Islamic financial products. The implications of this research lie in its contribution to broadening the theoretical understanding of consumer loyalty in the Islamic financial sector and providing strategic direction for financial institutions in strengthening long-term relationships with young customers.

Abstract:This study was conducted to analyze the influence of job satisfaction and work climate on employee morale at the Jakarta City Cooperatives and SMEs Office. The method used in this study was a sampling method, with 35 respondents…
pondents taken from the relevant population. Based on the results of the F test, the F count value was 14.405 which was greater than the F table of 3.285, with a significance of 0.000 which was smaller than the significance level of 0.05. This indicates that the null hypothesis (H0) is rejected and the alternative hypothesis (H1) is accepted, which means that job satisfaction and work climate simultaneously have a significant effect on employee morale. From the results of the t test, it is known that the t count value for job satisfaction is 3.181, greater than the t table of 1.692, with a significance level of 0.003 <0.05, which indicates a significant effect on work morale. Meanwhile, the work climate variable also showed a significant influence, with a calculated t value of 4.363 > t table 1.692 and a significance level of 0.000. The Adjusted R Square value of 0.441 indicates that 44.1% of the variation in work morale can be explained by the job satisfaction and work climate variables. The remaining 55.9% is influenced by other factors outside this research model.
Abstract:Discourse on constitutionalism often emphasizes the existence of a written constitution as the foundation of democratic governance. Yet, constitutionalism is not merely about the text but it is about the lived practices…
that give substance to constitutional ideals. This article interrogates the extent to which participation moves beyond symbolic consultation to become a substantive mechanism that embodies constitutionalism in practice. The central research question is how can meaningful public participation be conceptualized and operationalized as the essence of constitutionalism in legislative processes? It examines constitutional provisions, statutory frameworks, and judicial interpretations in selected jurisdictions. The analysis is enriched by theoretical frameworks of deliberative democracy and participatory constitutionalism, which highlight the normative value of inclusivity, transparency, and accountability in law making. The article concludes that embedding meaningful public participation transforms law-making from a formal exercise of authority into a constitutional practice that legitimizes governance, strengthens democracy.
Abstract:Advances in information and communication technology have spurred substantial changes in legal transaction procedures in Indonesia, primarily through the utilization of electronic agreements. Agreements that were previously…
sly made in traditional paper formats are now frequently conducted digitally, raising legal concerns regarding their legality, validity, evidence, and legal protection for the involved parties, particularly consumers. Although electronic agreements are normatively recognized in the Civil Code (KUHP) and the Law on Electronic Information and Transactions, practical implementation issues persist, leading to legal uncertainty. This research employs a normative legal methodology utilizing statutory, conceptual, and comparative approaches. Data was obtained through a literature review of primary, secondary, and tertiary legal sources related to electronic agreements and civil legal protection. Qualitative descriptive analysis was conducted to investigate the legal status of electronic agreements and the legal protection available for the parties within the Indonesian legal framework. The discussion results indicate that electronic agreements possess legal validity and binding force equivalent to traditional agreements, provided they meet the criteria for a valid agreement as outlined in Article 1320 of the Civil Code and the provisions of the Information Technology Law. Legal protection in electronic agreements encompasses legal certainty, the recognition of electronic document and signature evidence, and consumer protection against detrimental standard clauses. Nevertheless, challenges remain in establishing party identification, ensuring the integrity of digital contracts, and addressing power imbalances between commercial entities and consumers. This study concludes that while electronic agreements are legally recognized under Indonesian civil law, enhancing legal protection requires strengthened regulations, consistent law enforcement, and improved legal and digital literacy among the public to ensure secure, fair, and equitable electronic transactions.
