Identifikasi Masalah Menggunakan Teknik Problem Check-List Pada Siswa SMA Negeri 1 Baros

Abstract: Guidance and counseling is a service provided by schools, one of the functions of which is to help students identify various kinds of problems inherent in them in order to realize effective learning. The various problems… faced by students in classes towards the school, adjustments to the curriculum, study habits as well as the future and aspirations obtained from the Problem Checklist filled in by students. The research was conducted using descriptive quantitative research with a sample of 109 students using the Slovin formula. The research results were analyzed using percentages and produced findings that the problems faced by students were very diverse, thus hindering the learning process.

The Correlation Of Excessive Assignment Between Student’s Mental Health

Abstract: This research investigated the correlation of excessive assignments on the mental health of fifth-year English language students at State Islamic Religious Institution in Central Kalimantan. The research hypothesized a strong&#8230; trong positive correlation between perceived assignment load and mental health problems. The method of this research used quantitative approach using a questionnaire. The Data was collected from 20 participants. The researchers, analyzed the data using pearson's correlation coefficient JASP to examine the relationship between excessive assignment and mental health condition. Based on the findings, the result showed a significant positive correlation (r = 0.900, p <.001) between excessive assignment and mental health condition, indicating that 81.0% of the variance in students' mental health could be attributed to their perceived workload. Educational institutions should take proactive steps to manage student workloads and provide mental health support services, such as counseling, time management training, and flexible deadlines. Promoting a balanced approach to academic assessment that prioritizes both academic excellence and student well-being is crucial for fostering the success and well-being of English language students. This research limited due to the small sample size and focus on a specific student population. Future research with larger and more diverse samples is needed to further explore the complex relationship between academic demands and student mental health. The findings highlight the urgent need for universities and educators to prioritize student mental health alongside academic achievement. Implementing practical strategies to manage workloads and provide mental health support can promote a more holistic and student-centered educational environment.

Spatial Planning of the East Java Provincial Government during the Covid-19 Pandemic in Supporting State Defense

Abstract: The Covid-19 pandemic poses future space planning challenges. The current Covid-19 pandemic has greatly impacted everyone around the world covering all fields from health, economy, and food security, to sports, including&#8230; the field of spatial planning. Control of infectious virus outbreaks must be involved in spatial planning. Spatial planning that cares about the level of human health is no longer just struggling with green open space. But there should also be space for physical distancing in public places. The purpose of this study is to analyze the spatial planning of East Java Province during the Covid-19 pandemic in supporting state defense. This paper is written based on the results of qualitative research using phenomenological research design. In this study, the data collection process was carried out using interview, observation, and documentation study methods. The data obtained is then analyzed through four stages, namely data collection, data condensation, data presentation, and drawing conclusions or verification. The results showed that spatial planning during the pandemic was carried out with four aspects, namely analyzing the Covid-19 distribution map in East Java, planning changes in policies and strategies with public health considerations, planning space structures with the addition of emergency infrastructure, and planning space patterns with the allocation of green open space. The obstacles faced in spatial planning are the restriction of working hours and the implementation of WFH for employees, and the lack of community support as an affected object. Both are overcome by implementing digitalization strategies and community participation so that the spatial planning agenda during the Covid-19 pandemic can run well. In addition, the better spatial planning during the pandemic, the better the country's defense because of the non-military threat in this case the Covid-19 virus can be well anticipated.

Tindakan Aparat Polresta Dan Lembaga Perlindungan Hak Anak Dalam Penanganan Kasus Pelaku Tindak Pidana Dibawah Umur

Abstract: Anak adalah generasi penerus masa depan bangsa dan Negara Indonesia, oleh karena itu anak memerlukan pembinaan dan bimbingan khusus, baik dari keluarga, masyarakat, maupun pemerintah agar dapat tumbuh kembang secara maksimal.&#8230; imal. Dalam hal ini pemerintah telah berupaya memberikan perlindungan hukum terhadap anak-anak Indonesia dengan meratifikasi Konvensi Hak Anak serta menerbitkan berbagai peraturan perundangan yang merumuskan perlindungan terhadap anak-anak yang berhadapan dengan hukum, yang salah satu implementasi adalah dengan lahirnya Undang Undang Nomor 23 Tahun 2002 Tentang Perlindungan Anak. Salah satu kasus yang diangkat menjadi fenomena dalam dunia kriminalitas dan konteks perlindungan anak di Indonesia yang memerlukan solusi dalam penyelesaiannya adalah kasus genk motor khususnya yang terjadi di Kota. Kasus genk motor yang terjadi telah merugikan banyak pihak dan mengganggu keamanan dan ketertiban kota Pekanbaru karena para anggota genk motor ini melakukan tindak pidana yang mengancam keselamatan masyarakat. Namun adanya penyelesaian sudut pandang yang berbeda dari Pihak Kepolisian dengan Pihak Lembaga Perlindungan Anak dalam menangani keputusan dalam kasus tersebut   Children are the future generation of the Indonesian nation and state, therefore children need special guidance and guidance, both from family, society and the government so that they can grow and develop optimally.  In this case, the government has attempted to provide legal protection for Indonesian children by ratifying the Convention on the Rights of the Child and issuing various laws and regulations that formulate protection for children in conflict with the law, one of the implementations of which is the enactment of Law Number 23 of 2002 About Child Protection. However, there are different points of view from the Police and the Child Protection Agency in handling decisions in this case.
