Handayani, Wiwik, Romadhona, Mahimma, dewanti, mentari clara, Mandasari, Virginia
Abstract: Teachers are facilitators and are responsible for creating a learning process that can foster initiative and motivation for students in learning in the classroom. In addition, teachers in the learning process are also able… le to develop interaction patterns for various parties involved in learning. State Defense Education taught by teachers in class is one of the means in fostering students' awareness in understanding Bela Negara. Awareness of  Bela Negara  that cannot grow and develop by itself in every citizen, so planned efforts are needed in instilling the values  of State Defense in citizens. Based on the results of observations carried out in kindergartens in Pakal District, Surabaya City shows that the learning process carried out by teachers still lacks learning processes related to  Bela Negara, so that students lack insight into Bela Negara. In carrying out the learning process related to national defense, it can be through educational game tools (APE) which are specifically created and designed creatively to students using the superhero puppet character Panca Satria. This activity is expected to produce teachers who are able to create and apply educational game tools (APE) in introducing the spirit of Bela Negara in the classroom.

OPTIMIZING RETRIEVAL-AUGMENTED GENERATION FOR DOMAIN-SPECIFIC KNOWLEDGE SYSTEMS THROUGH FINE-TUNING AND PROMPT ENGINEERING

Ahmad Fajri, Rila Mandala
Abstract: Abstract: This study discusses the optimization of RAG for a FAQ system in the field of information technology product security certification at BSSN. Although LLM generate reliable responses, they often lack up-to-date… and domain-specific knowledge, which can be addressed through the RAG approach. This research aims to optimize a domain-specific RAG system by improving embedding performance, enhancing prompt robustness, and increasing retrieval accuracy. The research methods consist of three stages. The first stage involves fine-tuning the bge-m3 embedding model and evaluating its performance using MRR, Recall, and AUC. The second stage applies prompt engineering techniques, namely the SRSM and Autodefense, to mitigate direct-injection and escape-character prompt injection attacks. The third stage evaluates the proposed RAG system using Precision, Recall, and F1-Score metrics against four baseline models. The results of research show that the fine-tuned embedding model achieves higher performance than the original model, with MRR@1 and Recall@1 values of 0.80 and an AUC@100 of 0.7023. In addition, the proposed prompt engineering techniques demonstrate robustness against prompt injection attacks, while the overall RAG system attains a perfect Precision, Recall, and F1-Score of 1.00. In conclusion, the proposed approach effectively enhances retrieval accuracy, embedding quality, and system security, resulting in a more reliable RAG-based FAQ system for information technology product security certification. Keywords: embedding fine-tuning; large language model; prompt engineering; prompt injection mitigation; retrieval-augmented generation   Abstrak: Studi ini membahas optimasi RAG untuk sistem FAQ di bidang sertifikasi keamanan produk teknologi informasi di BSSN. Kata kunci: penyempurnaan embedding; model bahasa besar; rekayasa prompt; mitigasi injeksi prompt; retrieval-augmented generation

Fiqh Siyâsah Shar'iyyah Analysis of the Boycott of Pro-Israel Products Based on MUI Fatwa No. 83 of 2023 concerning the Law of Support for the Palestinian Cause

Safdhinar Muhammad An Noor
Abstract: This research article seeks to review and analyze MUI Fatwa No. 83 of 2023 concerning recommendations for calls and calls for boycotts of pro-Israel products based on the views of fiqh siyasah.  The aim is to find out how… ow the fiqh siyasah syar'iyyah views the boycott of pro-Israel products as a form of jihad and defense of the Palestinian state after the issuance of the MUI Fatwa ruling. This research uses a type of library research with a descriptive analysis approach. The results of the study found that in the view of fiqh siyasah boycott of pro-Israel affiliated products is mandatory if the boycott is believed to be harmful and difficult to the infidel Zionist Israel, and does not result in mafsadah for Muslims and a larger state than the mafsadah to be minimized. However, if the boycott actually brings violence and adversely affects Muslims, then the law does not become mandatory. Because in the rule that takes precedence is to anticipate the occurrence of mafsadah rather than realizing benefits. This is an effort to weaken the economy so that it can have a significant impact on stopping the military aggression carried out by Israel. That way, it will be very helpful to open a space for conflict peace between the two warring countries. But in various cases, this boycott must also pay attention and consider the negative impacts it causes, so as not to cause violence for Muslims and the country.

Diandra Parta Wisnu Dewangga, Suhartawan Budianto, Kusuma Wijaya
Abstract: In discourse, speech is not only considered as a linguistic phenomenon but also as a means to maintain or change power relations in society. One of the clearest examples of the use of speech in discourse to change social… change occurred in The Black Civil Rights Movement from 1955 to 1968 in the United States. Based on the interest in studying Malcolm X's speech further, the thesis writer decided to analyze Malcolm X's speech at the Oxford Union Debate using Fairclough's Critical Discourse Analysis framework with a qualitative method that will focus on linguistic issues as part of social and humanitarian issues. The results of this study showed deconstruction result of Malcolm X's speech text by analyzing various linguistic features from the dimensions of text practice (including positive and negative lexical items, key terms of ideology and belief, modality, and rhetorical devices), discursive practice (including intertextuality and shared knowledge), and sociocultural (including formality and personal pronouns), then continued with a discussion of the relationship between discourse, power, and ideology and the role of Malcolm X's speech in the historical context at that time. It can be concluded that Malcolm X's speech highlights his advocacy for revolutionary justice and self-defense for oppressed black people. He also challenged the power structures of his time, opposing segregation and exposing the hypocrisy of the American and Western governments with white supremacy and colonialism behind the mask of democracy.

Abstract: The Covid-19 pandemic poses future space planning challenges. The current Covid-19 pandemic has greatly impacted everyone around the world covering all fields from health, economy, and food security, to sports, including… the field of spatial planning. Control of infectious virus outbreaks must be involved in spatial planning. Spatial planning that cares about the level of human health is no longer just struggling with green open space. But there should also be space for physical distancing in public places. The purpose of this study is to analyze the spatial planning of East Java Province during the Covid-19 pandemic in supporting state defense. This paper is written based on the results of qualitative research using phenomenological research design. In this study, the data collection process was carried out using interview, observation, and documentation study methods. The data obtained is then analyzed through four stages, namely data collection, data condensation, data presentation, and drawing conclusions or verification. The results showed that spatial planning during the pandemic was carried out with four aspects, namely analyzing the Covid-19 distribution map in East Java, planning changes in policies and strategies with public health considerations, planning space structures with the addition of emergency infrastructure, and planning space patterns with the allocation of green open space. The obstacles faced in spatial planning are the restriction of working hours and the implementation of WFH for employees, and the lack of community support as an affected object. Both are overcome by implementing digitalization strategies and community participation so that the spatial planning agenda during the Covid-19 pandemic can run well. In addition, the better spatial planning during the pandemic, the better the country's defense because of the non-military threat in this case the Covid-19 virus can be well anticipated.
